The Obama campaign's point person in New Mexico recently sent an email to supporters defending the president's position on the debt deal and bashing the Nobel Prize winning New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and the "Firebagger Lefty blogosphere."...
"Firebagger" is most likely a combined reference to the liberal blog FireDogLake, founded by Jane Hamster Hamsher, and "Tea Bagger," a less-than-flattering term for Tea Party activists....
UPDATE: 3:24 p.m. -- Hamsher responds: "[I]f this is a brilliant political strategy on the part of OFA, someone is going to have to explain it to me. I know the goal is to attract the much-prized Independent for 2012. But who do they think is keeping Obama's poll numbers afloat? ... What exactly does OFA think they stand to gain by ridiculing Krugman as a 'political rookie,' a hysterical 'fanatic' and an 'idealogue'? The perception that they're actually in touch with reality, in a way that Paul Krugman isn't?
Do they think they hold so much sway with liberals that they can discredit Krugman and thus neutralize his criticism? This smacks more of narcissism and personal vendetta than any sound political 'strategy.'"

Someone at long last has had the courage to tell the plain, honest truth about race.
After mobs of young blacks rampaged through Philadelphia committing violence -- as similar mobs have rampaged through Chicago, Denver, Milwaukee and other places -- Philadelphia's black mayor, Michael A. Nutter, ordered a police crackdown and lashed out at the whole lifestyle of those who did such things.
"Pull up your pants and buy a belt 'cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt," he said. "If you walk into somebody's office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won't hire you? They don't hire you 'cause you look like you're crazy," the mayor said. He added: "You have damaged your own race."
While this might seem like it is just plain common sense, what Mayor Nutter said undermines a whole vision of the world that has brought fame, fortune and power to race hustlers in politics, the media and academia. Any racial disparities in hiring can only be due to racism and discrimination, according to the prevailing vision, which reaches from street corner demagogues to the august chambers of the Supreme Court of the United States.
Just to identify the rioters and looters as black is a radical departure, when mayors, police chiefs and the media in other cities report on these outbreaks of violence without mentioning the race of those who are doing these things. The Chicago Tribune even made excuses for failing to mention race when reporting on violent attacks by blacks on whites in Chicago.
Such excuses might make sense if the same politicians and media talking heads were not constantly mentioning race when denouncing the fact that a disproportionate number of young black men are being sent to prison.

For years the MSM has masked the identity of youts committing a crime or rioting to the determent of any citizen being able to identify and assist law enforcement in finding and arresting the perps. To what purpose the MSM has done this I won't even speculate.
Reporter: Youre not being stereotypical there?

Reporter: Are you sure that they were black? Im sure they werent all black, were they?
Big Jim: OK, then. Let me just say they werent all black. I was the white guy there.
Reporter: Well, there were probably other white guys there as well.

This goes all the way back to their "training" in journalism schools, which are a joke. It uses the same logic that minorities *cannot* commit hate crimes.
In truth, it is blatantly racist, and assumes that minorities cannot control themselves, and are as blameless as wild animals.

No worries! You don't want a job working for "the man" anyway. The US Gov't will hire you, and promote you as well.

Personally I believe the reporters think the rest of us are dumb as nails ready to begin lynching and killing if we ever found out the true racial character of some of these crimes. So they bend over backwards to hide things. Just look how the elites went on and on about Muslims afraid the masses were gonna start burning Mosques in revenge.
Of course problems aren't really addressed, or the solutions aren't as effective, if the facts are distorted.
The result, the mobs are going crazy, the elites have lost the confidence of the people and the old media is a walking corpse waiting for the final headshot to put it down.

The problem is that Mayor Nutter made his little speech in a church, not in a town meeting or in the neighborhoods, or in addressing a group of 'community leaders'. It's feel-good pandering.

Thats the same as saying urban areas are crime ridden. With higher population density of course they have higher crime. I'm not so sure the statistics hold out in the rural black areas that don't make the news as often.

All well and good. But I must say the pants sagging below the butt, the tattoos and the unkempt hair seem now to be fashion statements that have been adopted by a fair number of white youts. I have no idea what these people are thinking. I'm afraid to ask.
