[AlAhram] The sentences are not final and can still be appealed by the defendants when they are present before the court
A Cairo Criminal Court handed 10-year prison terms on Saturday to four defendants in absentia over smuggling migrants colonists to the United Kingdom.
According to the referral decision, a Syrian-British citizen had established and led an organised group aiming at trafficking migrants colonists from Egypt to countries abroad.
The group also included three other defendants, including an Algerian who was tasked along with another man on issuing fake passports and IDs for the migrants colonists.
The sentence is not final and can still be appealed by the defendants when they are present before a court of law.
Since a 2016 boat disaster killed dozens of migrants colonists, including Egyptians, Egypt has been strengthening efforts to combat irregular migration to Europa ...the land mass occupying the space between the English Channel and the Urals, also known as Moslem Lebensraum... through a new law that imposes harsher penalties on traffickers.
Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has spoken on multiple occasions about Egypt's ongoing efforts to curb illegal immigration from its shores to Europe; a key concern for European countries facing a growing migrant crisis.

First batch of Syrian mercenaries from Azerbaijan reached Hawar Kilis (Syria) yesterday, and now, SNA sources say the rest will be returned to Syria in batches...and that no more should be sent. This is a good thing.
[RedState] Tensions are rising between black members of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and white progressive anarchists in the city of Portland, Oregon. The two groups clashed on issues related to how the movement should demonstrate against injustice. As a result, black BLM activists are distancing themselves from white progressives affiliated with the Antifa ...the armed wing of the Democratic Party... movement, which has wreaked havoc in the city for six months.
Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) recently reported on the split between black BLM activists and white Antifa operatives, noting that "activists in the city are divided as to whether they are still fighting in a racial justice movement centered on Black lives, or if an unfocused, anti-establishment fight against capitalism and state power has usurped the initial cause that brought thousands of Portlanders into the streets."

Based on the few video's and pictures that I have seen of Black Marxist Lives Matter protests. It seems at those protests that they had a lot more Bright WHITE Fat Karen's. Even more so than Black females or men.

That’s what the BLM leadership is complaining about, NN2N1. Not that BLM has been all that much less violent, in my observation, only that they’d bullied their white allies into moving to the back of the bus.

"Let's you and him defend Jerusalem with your lives."
Erdy sure is kicking up his heels lately. I wonder if he is having some kind of mid-life crisis. This could be the Calif-wanna-be version of buying a red convertible and running off with a stripper.
[AA.TR] Hussein Ibrahim Taha from Chad was on Saturday elected as the next secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Taha was unanimously elected at the ongoing 47th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Niamey, Niger.
He will replace Yusef Ahmed al-Othaimeen, who will leave the post in November 2021, to become the 12th head of the OIC.
Taha was elected as the two other contenders from Benin and Nigeria decided to support him and al-Othaimeen withdrew his own candidacy.
Established in 1969, the OIC is the world’s second largest inter-governmental organization after the UN, with 57 member states spread across four continents.
Who is the new OIC head?
The new OIC head, a diplomat and politician, was born in 1951 in Abeche, Chad.
Upon completion of his primary and secondary education in Chad, Taha started his undergraduate studies in Gay Paree at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) in 1972.
He started his career in 1979 at the Foreign Ministry of Chad and headed the Directorate of Economy and International Relations.
In 1990, he was appointed as undersecretary to the Embassy of Chad in Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... Taha, who was appointed as Chad's Ambassador to Taiwan in 2001, continued his diplomatic career until 2017 as the Ambassador to La Belle France, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Vatican.
He became Chad's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2017.
He was appointed as an Adviser to the President and Deputy Secretary General in 2019 after his ministerial duty, and was nominated for the OIC General Secretary by the Chadian government in November 2020.

[AlAhram] A US aircraft carrier group has moved back into the Gulf region, but a navy spokeswoman said Saturday its return was not triggered by any "threats" after the killing in Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... of a top nuclear scientist.
Tensions in the region are extraordinarily high after the liquidation Friday of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, an act still unclaimed but which Iran has blamed on close US ally Israel.
But naval commander Rebecca Rebarich, a spokeswoman for the US 5th Fleet, told AFP the return Wednesday of the carrier group led by the nuclear-powered USS Nimitz was unconnected to any "specific threats."
"There were no specific threats that triggered the return of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group," she said in a statement.
"The return of Nimitz is centered on maintaining CENTCOM's ability to remain postured and prepared to help preserve regional stability and security," Rebarich said, referring to the US Central Command.
The Pentagon said earlier that the carrier group would be providing combat support and air cover as the military withdraws thousands of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan by mid-January, under orders from President Donald Trump ...dictatorial for repealing some (but not all) of the diktats of his predecessor, misogynistic because he likes pretty girls, homophobic because he doesn't think gender bending should be mandatory, truly a man for all seasons...... About 2,000 troops will be pulled from Afghanistan and 500 from Iraq, leaving roughly 2,500 in each country.
The flotilla led by the Nimitz -- one of the world's largest warships -- had recently joined Australia, India and Japan in scheduled exercises in the Arabian Sea.
The 5th Fleet's Twitter account showed pictures of the Nimitz's air wing conducting flight operations there Saturday.
Carrier groups typically include a cruiser, a destroyer squadron and an air wing.
Nimitz-class carriers are more than 1,000 feet (300 meters) long, have a crew of more than 6,000, and carry up to 90 helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft

In an international crisis the president’s first question Igor the Navy is “Where are my carriers”. Something is up, they don’t just wander around at random

I’m sure to President Trump blocking his successor from reestablishing President Obama’s “deal” with Iran is a pleasant side-effect. But under the circumstances he found the goal valid on its own.

Chris gives us Mexican press dispatches of drug and gang war violence
over three years, presented in a multi volume set intended to chronicle the death, violence and mayhem which has
