[PJMedia] You may have noticed that Democrats only sent President Joe Biden to deep blue states leading up to Election Day. Despite these relatively safe assignments, he still managed to tell Americans he planned to shut down all coal plants and stop all drilling for oil. In between ranting about "Ultra MAGA" Republicans and threats to "our democracy," Doddering Joe sounded like he had marbles in his mouth, told HBCU students their school was just as good as any other college, and wrestled with his biggest enemy, the teleprompter.
Meanwhile, the Democrats’ stenographers in the legacy media have been issuing brutal fact-checks on Biden’s closing message. The talking points the president is using are in line with other Democrats on the campaign trail, but the media is tearing them down. CNN’s Daniel Dale hit first with a nine-item fact check that stopped just short of calling Biden a liar.
On Monday, the Washington Post’s Glenn Kessler gave Biden a "Bottomless Pinocchio" for his claim that he traveled 17,000 miles with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Kessler gives this rating to a claim that earns three or four Pinocchio’s the first time it is said and then gets repeated at least 20 times. The travel claim was not the only one Kessler took on. He noted:

I've always discounted these articles. Joe Biden is the bureaucracy's dream candidate. Doesn't know what he's doing and will not stand in their way at all. They have complete free rein and won't give it up easily.

If the 70+% dissatisfied electorate votes the Dems back to power in 2022 I suspect that 2 more years of Biden will increase dissatisfaction to 90+% which will lead to veto proof Congress and someone as incapable as Harris as President. Logic and trends mean nothing.

Biden step aside?
Brandon and his socialists cohorts have just had their policies validated. Why would he step aside? He'll be declaring victory as soon as he memorizes the new narrative and his meds can be administered.
[Post Millenial] The Feds wanna disappear him before he publicly admits...what? When have they moved this fast on any deportation?
The US Department of Homeland Security wants to deport the illegal immigrant accused of assaulting House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband with a hammer.
However, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said Thursday that she will refuse to turn the suspect over to ICE officials citing the San Francisco's sanctuary city policies which ban departments and officials from assissting immigration officers with detentions or deportations.
Jenkins said in a statement hours after US Immigration and Customs Enforcement publicly disclosed the hold on David DePape, "San Francisco is a sanctuary city and our policy is sacred."
She added, "We will not be collaborating or coordinating with ICE."
The 42-year-old Canadian citizen is incarcerated in San Francisco County Jail after being arrested after the home invasion, assault and kidnapping plot. DePape arrived in the US as a temporary visitor on March 8, 2008, at San Ysidro Land Port of Entry, according to Homeland Security records.
Jenkins justified the move stating that due to the charges her office filed, "Mr. DePape is facing life in prison." If local law enforcement complied with the ICE hold, DePape would be turned over to ICE and possibly sent back to Canada after his criminal cases concluded.
DePape has been charged in San Francisco and federal court for of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, residential burglary, false imprisonment of an elder, elder abuse, and threats to a public official and her family. He has pleaded "not guilty."

Seems like, in most cases, prosecuting the violent criminal would take priority over a deportation. Maybe someone should ask Trudeau whether he will trade Tamara Lich for the guy.

Rantburg was assembled from recycled algorithms in the United States of America. No
trees were destroyed in the production of this weblog. We did hurt some, though. Sorry.
