In a message posted on Telegram, the group claimed to have "killed and injured 80 Afghan judges, Sherlocks and security personnel" who gathered on completion of a training program.
The corpse count released by Afghan officials is much lower, at 22, and does not mention the killing of judges or prosecutors. Officials said multiple students had been killed.
[ToloNews] The Afghan government announced Tuesday as national day of mourning over Kabul University attack that killed at least 19 people and maimed 22 others, mostly young students.
The Afghan national will fly at half-mast across the country and at all diplomatic missions around the world, the Presidential Palace said.
In a message on the attack, President Ghani said, "the enemies of knowledge and progress continued to terrorize our people and perpetrated a vicious terrorist attack on Kabul University."
"We convey a clear message to all terrorist groups including Taliban ...mindless ferocity in a turban... that such acts of terror and atrocity can never deter the resolve of the great Afghan nation for a peaceful, stable and thriving Afghanistan," President Ghani says.
"We will take Dire Revenge for this senseless attack and for any drop of innocent students’ blood spilled today. Our heroic defense and security forces will chase you, find you at any corner and wipe you out," Ghani said. "I enunciate to the brutal enemies of Afghanistan that this attack will not remain without response; we will retaliate."
ATTACK ENDS AFTER SIX HOURS
The attack on Kabul University, one of the biggest higher education institutions in the country, ended after six hours when all three attackers were killed, the Interior Affairs Ministry said.
The attack started at around 11:00 am on Monday morning when three attackers entered the university compound and moved towards a training center at Law Faculty that was apparently their main target as security sources put it. The Law Faculty is near the eastern gate of the university from where the attackers entered the compound.
The Interior Affairs Ministry’s front man Tariq Arian said the attack left 19 dead and 22 others maimed.
This was the second attack on education institutions in the last 10 days. A week ago, a suicide kaboom near a tutoring center killed over 30 people, most of them students.
Some eyewitnesses said the attackers entered classrooms and shot up students and professors at the training center of the Law Faculty.
Sources also said that five attackers were involved in the attack.
Hundreds of students as well as professors were at the university when the attack happened. Many students escaped the university through its surrounding walls.

More Baath than the Baathists? But they keep showing up in our archives as allies fighting alongside the Syrian Arab Army, along with the National Defense Forces.

Nazi-aligned? Huh? Someone show me where they list the tenets of national socialism. This is just name-calling. Remember the false flag chlorine gas attack that supposedly Assad did, right when there was about to be a peace settlement?

Baathism was founded as a vehicle to deliver socialism to the secular Arab nation, though it really only took hold in Syria, Iraq and, briefly Egypt. They didn’t go in for wholesale genocide, but that was a peculiarity of the German version of the thing that was not taken up even by their contemporaries in Italy. Wikipedia

Why were middle eastern jihadis running a camp in New Mexico? Or in the Pacific Northwest, for that matter? Why are the roaches under the sink and behind the refrigerator?

[MAIL] At least three people have been killed and 15 others injured after six gun attacks near a synagogue in Vienna on the city's final night before coronavirus lockdown.
A huge manhunt was underway for multiple attackers armed with rifles following the horrific shootings, with the first near the synagogue reported at 8pm local time.
As of 2am in Vienna, one terrorist remains at large with police cordons in place throughout the city and strict border checks. Children in the city will not be required to attend school on Tuesday.
One attacker was shot dead by police with two civilians, one of them a woman, killed in the rampage. A police officer is also thought to have been shot and seriously injured. Vienna mayor Michael Ludwig said 15 people were admitted to hospital, seven with serious injuries.
The rampage came on the final evening before Austria went into lockdown amid rising coronavirus rates, with bars and restaurants in the country closed from midnight and people flocking to enjoy one last night of freedom.
Shocking footage showing a man carrying an assault rifle and sprinting through the streets of Vienna and firing off shots was shared on social media, shortly after reports of the attack. More distressing footage shared only appeared to show the moment a man is shot by an attacker.
A man who had previously tried to join the Islamic State group rampaged in Vienna armed with an automatic rifle and a fake explosive vest, fatally shooting four people before he was killed by police, Austrian authorities said Tuesday.
Witnesses described dozens of screaming people fleeing the sounds of gunshots Monday night in a nightlife district crowded with revelers enjoying the last hours before a coronavirus lockdown.
Others barricaded themselves inside restaurants for hours until they were sure the danger had passed. Video that appeared to be from the scene showed a gunman, dressed in white coveralls, firing off bursts seemingly at random as he ran down the Austrian capital’s dark cobblestone streets.
While the attack lasted just minutes, authorities said only on Tuesday afternoon that there was no indication of a second attacker — adding to tension in the capital as residents were urged to stay home.
Two men and two women died from their injuries in the attack — including one German woman, according to Germany’s foreign minister. Authorities said a police officer who tried to get in the way of the attacker was shot and wounded, along with 21 other people.
The suspect was identified as a 20-year-old Austrian-North Macedonian dual citizen with a previous terror conviction for attempting to join the Islamic State group in Syria. Police searched 18 properties as well as the suspect’s apartment, detaining 14 people associated with the assailant who are being questioned, Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said.
“Yesterday’s attack was clearly an Islamist terror attack,” Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said. “It was an attack out of hatred — hatred for our fundamental values, hatred for our way of life, hatred for our democracy in which all people have equal rights and dignity.”
The attacker, identified as Kujtim Fejzulai, was armed with a fake explosive vest, an automatic rifle, a handgun and a machete, according to Nehammer. Before the attack he posted a photograph on a social media account showing him posing with the rifle and machete, Nehammer said.
Fejzulai was sentenced to 22 months in prison in April 2019 but was granted early release in December.
“The fact is that the terrorist managed to deceive the judicial system’s deradicalization program” to secure his release, Nehammer said, adding that the system should be reevaluated.
He also said that an attempt to strip Fejzulai of his Austrian citizenship had failed for lack of enough evidence.
The Islamic State group on Tuesday claimed credit for the Vienna attack, calling the perpetrator a “soldier of the Caliphate.” The claim of responsibility was published through the militant group’s media arm, Aamaq. It didn’t elaborate on the attacker’s ties to IS and had similar wording to past, opportunistic claims by the group.
IS also released a video through Aamaq of what is said was the attacker, Fejzulai, whom it called Abu Dujana al-Albani — apparently a nom de guerre — showing him pledging allegiance to the Islamic State group. It wasn’t clear when the video was filmed.
In North Macedonia, police said a list of suspects sent by Austria included two others with dual Austrian and North Macedonian citizenship.
In Switzerland, police in the city of Winterthur said an 18-year-old and a 24-year-old were arrested in consultation with Austrian authorities. Investigators are now trying to determine the nature of the two men’s contact with the Vienna suspect.
Some of the circumstances of the Vienna shooting are reminiscent of the case of Usman Khan, who stabbed two people to death in 2019 in central London. Khan had been sentenced to 16 years in prison after being convicted for his role in a plot to bomb the London Stock Exchange. He was released in December 2018 after serving half his sentence, as are most prisoners in Britain. While in prison, Khan had begun working with a program that seeks to rehabilitate criminals through storytelling and workshops.
Nikolaus Rast, Fejzulai’s lawyer in the 2019 case, told public broadcaster ORF that his client had seemed “completely harmless” at the time.
“He was a young man who was searching for his place in society, who apparently went to the wrong mosque, ended up in the wrong circles,” Rast said.
Fejzulai’s family “wasn’t radical,” Rast added. “I still remember that the family couldn’t believe what had happened with their son.”
Authorities worked well into Tuesday to determine whether there were any other attackers, with some 1,000 police officers on duty in the city. People in Vienna were urged to stay at home if possible on Tuesday, and children did not have to go to school.
By mid-afternoon, investigators sifting through copious video evidence had found “no indication of a second perpetrator,” Nehammer said. “But because the evaluation is not yet concluded, we cannot yet say conclusively how many perpetrators are responsible for the crime.”
For the time being, an elevated security level will remain in place in Vienna, he said. The country held a minute of silence at midday Tuesday, accompanied by the tolling of bells in the capital, and the government ordered three days of official mourning, with flags on public buildings to be flown at half-staff.
The shooting began shortly after 8 p.m. Monday near Vienna’s main synagogue as many people were enjoying a last night of open restaurants and bars before a monthlong coronavirus lockdown, which started at midnight.
Nine minutes later, it was over, Nehammer said.

La Belle France plans to ban Ottoman Turkish far-right nationalist group the Grey Wolves, Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said on Monday.
Courtesy of Pappy, this is what we know about them: The youth wing, or paramilitary division of the Nationalist Movement Party, the Grey Wolves were founded in the late 1960s. During the 1970s, Grey Wolves killed Kurds, left-wing intellectuals, students, and Christians. Mehmet Ali Agca, who attempted to assassinate Pope John Paul II in 1981, was a member of Grey Wolves. Another member attempted to assassinate Prime Minister Turgut Özal in 1988. In recent decades the party has moderated its platform but adopted a more Islamic stance. After the fall of the Soviet Union, soldiers fought under the Grey Wolves banner in both Chechnya wars as well as in the Nagorno-Karabakh War on the side of the Azerbaijanis against the Armenians. The organization was banned in Azerbaijan in 1995 after an attempted coup and in Kazakhstan in 2005. There are Grey Wolves groups in Germany, Netherlands, France and Belgium.
A ban on the "particularly aggressive" Grey Wolves would be submitted to the French Cabinet on Wednesday, Darmanin told a National Assembly hearing on La Belle France's fight against Islamist krazed killers.
The ban follows recent incidents in La Belle France involving the Grey Wolves group amid growing tensions between La Belle France and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...Qatar's satrapy in Asia Minor... and over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
In one incident last weekend, La Belle France 3 television reported that the Armenian memorial near Lyon was tagged with pro-Ottoman Turkish slogans and inscriptions with the Grey Wolves' name.
Events continue to unroll following yesterday’s multi-site jihadi attack in Vienna. See also here, where we are informed, inter alia, that the lone jihadi has been identified as Kujtim Fejzulai.

More from the Daily Mail, in the hope that they will later have good photos and video (as of 1:00 a.m. ET there isn’t much):
Several gunmen opened fire at six locations in Vienna near the central synagogue on Monday, killing at least one person and wounding 15 in what Chancellor Sebastian Kurz described as a 'repulsive terrorist attack'.
The death toll is likely to rise with at least seven victims in critical condition.
One attacker was shot dead by police but several others were thought to be 'on the loose', according to Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.
Multiple button menshot up six locations in central Vienna on Monday evening, killing at least three and wounding several others. About 50 shots were fired, according to witnesses.
The shooting happened on Schwedenplatz, a square located opposite the Carmelite Quarter, where several synagogues are located, but the attack did not involve the Jewish institutions, the president of the city’s communal organization said.
Oskar Deutch, president of the Jewish Community in Vienna, on Monday told the Kurier news site that none of the city’s Jewish institutions appear to have been hit. But he did not know if they had been a target in the shooting and warned the city’s Jews to stay home.
According to Rabbi Jacob Biderman, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Austria, all of the city’s synagogues have been accounted for with no known injuries or loss of life in the Jewish community.
Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer described the assailant killed by police in an attack in central Vienna on Monday as an "Islamist terrorist."
"We experienced an attack yesterday evening from at least one Islamist terrorist," he told a news conference, calling the man an Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... sympathizer.
Several "heavily armed and dangerous" attackers were still on the loose as police shut down and sealed off large parts of central Vienna in a manhunt, Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said in local media interviews. "We have brought several special forces units together that are now searching for the presumed terrorists. I am therefore not limiting it to an area of Vienna because these are mobile perpetrators."
According to news reports from the Austrian capital, it is unknown how many perpetrators were involved.
Austrian police said the attack involved six scene of the crimes - Salzgries, Schwedenplatz, Graben, Fleischmarkt, Bauernmarkt and Morzinplatz.
Ludwig also reported that at least one perpetrator was equipped with a long weapon, but also a pistol and a machete - so he was "very well prepared."
A report by the Teletrader news agency later indicated a possible hostage situation, as hostages were taken taken at the Akakiko sushi restaurant in Mariahilfer Stasse, roughly 2.5 kilometers away from the synagogue in Seitenstettengasse. However, women are made to be loved, not understood... it is unknown at this point if and how the incidents are connected.
Vienna police confirmed there were six sites of attack — all in the city’s first district, within 10 minutes’ walk from each other — with multiple attackers. Police initially confirmed one death and one terrorist killed.
In addition, reports said there had been an explosion, with one of the assailants possibly blowing himself up. Vienna Mayor Michael Ludwig said the attacker who was killed is suspected to have worn an explosive belt.

After all this time, and after all the intervening events we find ourselves back at the Gates of Vienna with savages prowling the streets. Perhaps it's time to go ahead and take seriously the religious commands in their book and act accordingly.

At this point, a minimum of a 25% reduction of the Federal hackerama seems sufficient to put an end to this bullshit. If that doesn't work, keep going.
What'll even be funnier is them realizing just how unemployable a career Federal hack is. I was in the Mass. DOR for four years and going from that to the Dreaded Private Sector was without a doubt the most difficult thing I ever did career-wise.

[NYPOST] A leader of the Black Lives Matter movement was among a group of anti-President Trump protesters arrested in Manhattan on Sunday after clashing with cops, police said.
Walter "Hawk" Newsome, president of Black Lives Matter’s Greater New York chapter, was busted along with 10 others during demonstrations at West 24th Street and 10th Avenue near the High Line in Chelsea around 1 p.m., authorities said.
"Get your f—ing hands off me," Newsome, 43, barked while pushing into officers, police sources said.
Newsome, a Bronx resident, was slapped with a desk appearance ticket for obstructing governmental administration and two disorderly conduct violations, authorities said.
Police said Newsome was given lawful orders to disperse.
Video captured by The Post showed cops shoving protesters and blocking their path on the Manhattan sidewalk.
On Sunday, anti-Trump protesters had confronted pro-Trump caravans near Madison Square Park as supporters of the president took to streets and highways across the New York region ahead of Tuesday’s presidential election

[AlAhram] Ottoman Turkish police detained 15 Iraqi nationals in central Kirsehir province for alleged links to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. An anti-terror operation was launched in the city upon the information that the suspected IS group members were carrying out activities in Kirsehir, anonymous security sources told the agency.

The head of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, Mojtaba Dhu al-Nour, announced on Sunday, the arrest of the head of the separatist “Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz”, the dissident Habib Al-Kaabi.
Dhul-Nour confirmed that Al-Kaabi was arrested outside Iran, and transferred inside the country.
Iranian television reported that Tehran managed to lure Al-Kaabi to Turkey,
Dear Mr. Al-Kaabi,
You have won our million dollar lottery!! Please report to the Izmir police station to pick up your winnings, payable as a suitcase full of $100 bills.
Sincerely,
The Lottery Commission
arrest him there and transfer him to Iran, in cooperation with the Turkish security services.
Dhu al-Nour pointed out that Al-Kaabi is under investigation by the security forces at the present time, and described the process of his arrest as a “successful achievement” by the Iranian security services, stressing that “he will receive his penalty after undergoing a fair trial.”
The Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Al-Ahvaz confirmed the authenticity of the reports about Al-Kaabi’s arrest, accusing the Iranian intelligence services of “kidnapping him on Turkish territory, after a process of induction in which a Gulf Arab state and Ahvazi personalities participated and contributed,” which they did not reveal.
Tehran classifies this movement as a “terrorist” organization, which calls for the secession of the Ahvaz region inhabited by Iranian Arabs, and accuses it of being responsible for targeting a military parade in the city of Ahvaz, in September of 2018, which killed 29 and wounded 57 Iranian civilians and military forces. The movement claimed responsibility for it, before ISIS said they were behind it.
Detailed report by @STJ_SYRIA_ENG provides info of transfer of Syrians & Caucasians by Turkey to Azerbaijan to engage in military conflict #Karabakh. Hundreds of Syrians transferred via Turkish territory to Azerbaijan to fight as mercenaries in September.https://t.co/sgjCRUPl69
