Package containing explosive material discovered in German Finance Ministry

[DW] German police have said a package containing explosives was delivered to Germany's Finance Ministry. Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office has seized and destroyed the package. No injuries have been reported.

Germany's Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) confirmed that it had been filled with a mixture of low-grade explosives, similar to those found in fire crackers. Police also reported that the mixture is often used in pyrotechnics and could have caused serious injuries, had the package been opened.

Not enough information to determine if this is a true War in Terror situation or Black Bloc anarchists, Turkish Grey Wolves avenging Erdogan's honour, communists, neo-Nazis, or yoots having fun.

Greece’s interior ministry said authorities in both Greece and Germany were working together on the case.

A Greek police source said the package had a Greek stamp. The “sender” of the parcel was given as a deputy leader of the opposition New Democracy party — along with his real address.

#2 Could be, Skidmark. Wikipedia has an article on the lads. They appeared in 2008 bombing upscale car dealerships and banks, claiming to be a third kind of anarchist -- anarcho-individualism, which is somehow different than social anarchism and insurrectionary anarchism. The article reports nothing on them after 2011.
