Paul Pelosi, 82, was transported to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital after police arrived on the scene, and was initially treated for facial injuries while in stable, pH balanced condition, NBC's local affiliate KNTV reported, citing an anonymous source at the hospital. It is unclear what may have prompted doctors to take him into surgery.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office said he is expected to make a full recovery. May have to remain on ventilator for 3-4 weeks.
The motive for the early morning attack remains unclear, but law enforcement said officers were dispatched to the residence at roughly 2:27 a.m. on a well-being check. When they arrived both Pelosi and the suspect were holding a hammer, Police Chief Bill Scott told news hounds.
The suspect, whom Scott identified as 42 year-old David Depape,

"Our officers immediately tackled the suspect, disarmed him, took him into custody, requested emergency backup and rendered medical aid," said Scott.
Depape is being charged with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary and several other additional felonies, according to police.

1) Why was a man as wealthy as that, living in a crime ridden city like San Francisco, alone in the house with no security?
2) Why haven't we heard yet if Mr. Depape has a criminal record, or if he was out on bail, or no bail, or should have, for any other reason, been in jail instead of running loose?
3) What is this business about a well being check at 2:27 a.m.? Was there a 911 call or not? If not, why would the cops conduct a well being check at that hour?

Mr. Depape apparently was found in the Pelosi home by police only wearing his underwear. He didn't use the hammer (that supposedly he wrestled away from his 'victim' who was apparently using it for self-defense) on Mr. Pelosi until AFTER the police arrived and were in the house.
According to 911 log - "RP (reporting person Paul Pelosi) stated there's a male in the home and that he's going to wait for his wife. RP stated that he doesn't know who the male is but he advised that his name is David and that he is a friend.”
This whole scenario is quite strange (although it is SF) and really seems F'd up, in my opinion anyway.

It gets weirder. David DePape forced his way into the home through a back entrance, Scott said. Officers arrived at the house, knocked on the front door and were let inside by an unknown person. They discovered DePape and Pelosi struggling for a hammer, and after they instructed them to drop the weapon, Scott said, DePape took the hammer and “violently attacked” Pelosi.

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who became famous during the COVID-19 pandemic for saying that unvaccinated people would be second-class citizens in her country, went to study “climate change” in Antarctica — where the freezing weather caused her plane to break down.
Ardern was visiting her country’s Scott Base in Antarctica to “highlight” supposed “climate change” and mark the Base’s 65th anniversary, according to Reuters. “Cooperation in Antarctica and in the Antarctic Treaty System is more important than ever as we tackle the crises of climate change and biodiversity loss,” Ardern stated.
But those glaciers aren’t melting at disastrous rates yet, apparently. The NZ Air Force Hercules plane took Ardern to Scott Base, but her scheduled departure yesterday was delayed because another plane was required, RNZ reported. The plane broke down due to being grounded in Antarctica for two days, a New Zealand Defence Force spokesperson said.
“Experience has shown that cold temperatures can cause the aircraft propeller seals to have issues on start-up due to congealing hydraulic fluid and seal rigidity,” RNZ quoted the spokesperson. “The C130H will be repaired and is expected to return to New Zealand in the next few days.” Efforts to prevent the breakdown had failed, according to the spokesperson.

That is a very traditional cheat scheme that would generate a higher voter turnout, some fake votes for grandma who is long dead and a chance for Dem operatives to trash or alter any votes where folks have rejected the narrative. It is not the cheating that Zuckerberg has funded. I think it is worth pursuing as there are likely perps common to both scams higher up.
