[Breitbart] Chicago, Illinois, Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) now says it is “immoral” and “unpatriotic” for Gov. Greg Abbott (R) to bus migrants from Texas to the sanctuary city. The Picnic Ant Lady squeaks
Last week, Abbott started busing border crossers to the sanctuary city of Chicago after sending thousands over the last few months to the sanctuary cities of New York City, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Initially, Lightfoot balked at the migrant buses by calling them “racist and xenophobic.” While visiting a shelter last week, Lightfoot called Abbott’s buses “immoral, unpatriotic” and claimed the operation “defies the values of who we are as Americans.”
“We received families, single men, a mix of folks from Latin America bused here inhumanly from Texas … we can disagree on policy and politics, but you don’t treat people this way,” Lightfoot told the Chicago Tribune.
After having received just 125 border crossers on buses from Texas, Lightfoot’s office launched a website pleading with Chicago residents to donate gift cards, clothing, baby formula, and other necessities to the new arrivals.
At the same time, Lightfoot has asked the federal government for help.
The roughly 125 border crossers who have arrived in Chicago over the last week are a fraction of what American border communities witness daily on the United States-Mexico border.
In one week, for instance, agents in the Del Rio, Texas area apprehended almost 13,000 border crossers and illegal aliens — averaging almost 1,900 apprehensions a day in the region — which is about a third of Del Rio’s total population.
For Texas, Abbott’s migrant busing operation is a massive cost saver.
Whereas Texans have paid about $12 million so far to bus migrants to Democrat-controlled sanctuary cities, the cost to state taxpayers for illegal immigration runs at about $11 billion a year, indicating that Abbott’s operation is easily paying for itself.

If immigrants were an advantage, elites like her would be hoarding them and refusing to share with the rest of us, like they do pretty much everything else that is good in life.
Instead, having them is immoral. Let that sink in.
While, Chicago, Mayor Lori Lightfoot (LSGD) had initially welcomed the the redistribution of illegals immigrants. Now after less than only 300, and only a few months, she see's the $$$$ related support, cultural and Gang crime issues popping up. So she is attacking the Texas Gov. redistribution instead of the DC SWAMP / Biden and their OPEN BORDERS that are the actual source cause.
[Townhall] It’s hard to believe that after roughly 10 months, Americans are still having to fight inflation at the hands of the Biden administration.
According to a new poll by Gallup, 56 percent of Americans blame the high price increases for their lives essentially being worse.
That number is up from 49 percent in January and 45 percent in November.
Twelve percent of Americans describe their financial pain as "severe" and 44 percent say it is "moderate."
The poll also found that the current climate of hardship brought on by the 40-year-high inflation has affected people's ability to maintain their current standard of living.
Americans have already had to shift their way of living so much so that they can just put gas in their tanks to get to work and feed their families.
A majority of respondents, 74 percent, claimed their financial situation as "severe" make less than $48,000 per year. Twelve percent of middle-class respondents and 4 percent of upper-class respondents also said their hardships were "severe."
Even those making over $90,000 annually claimed to be struggling for the first time since inflation took over in November.

I think anyone making that connection understands the mascot doesn't call the plays, and will do a little dance when the producer thinks the game is dragging.

Eventhose making over $90,000 annually claimed to be struggling...
Why didn't the author add scare quotes around 'claimed', hmmm? The inference was certainly there. Still, without knowing what the cost-of-living where the respondent was the number loses a lot of meaning. A 90K salary in Texas is a lot bigger than it is in Manhattan...

Well, we are always hearing how hard it is to live on those $175k a year gummint salaries. And how expensive houses and apartments are in all the trendy blue neighborhoods...

Easier to shower with his daughter in Delaware than in the WH.

We cut out our travel plans but not because of money; was concerned about airline connections and the possibility of gas unavailability. The former remains true but spousal unit now can’t handle endless hours in the car.
[FoxNews] Onward Together's donation went to the Alliance for Youth Justice, which also supported dismantling the Minneapolis Police Department
A Hillary Clinton nonprofit funneled $75,000 to a far-left "defund the police" group whose affiliate worked on a failed attempt to dismantle and replace the Minneapolis Police Department, a Fox News Digital review of tax documents and annual reports found.
Onward Together, which Clinton launched in 2017 to be part of the resistance against former President Trump, pushed the general support grant to the Washington, D.C.-based Alliance for Youth Action sometime between April 1, 2020, and March 31, 2021, its latest tax forms show.
The Alliance for Youth Action says the policing system "was founded on slave patrols and continues to target and murder Black people" and backs defunding law enforcement as a step toward outright abolishment.
"Centering Black people in our work means it is time to divest from police, and invest in Black futures," the group's website states. "Defunding the police as part of the path towards abolition is one of the many steps that must be taken to ensure that Black people are able to thrive."
In its 2021 annual report, the alliance also boasts that its affiliated Minnesota Youth Collective was a part of the Yes 4 Minneapolis coalition, which sought to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department last year.
The far-left coalition spearheaded an initiative to dismantle the Minneapolis Police Department and replace it with a Department of Public Safety and successfully placed the charter amendment on the city's November ballot, which Minneapolis voters rejected.
The failed effort was bankrolled and propped up by outside deep-pocketed liberal donors and groups. George Soros' advocacy nonprofit, the Open Society Policy Center, supplied $500,000 to the campaign, Fox News Digital reported.
Other groups, such as MoveOn.org and the American Civil Liberties Union, also combined to add hundreds of thousands in in-kind contributions, including staffing, access to email lists and other services that come as non-cash contributions.
Onward Together's tax forms further show its donations have fallen by nearly 50% since its inaugural year. The group pulled in $3.1 million during its 2017 fiscal year, which dropped sharply to $1.6 million for its 2020 fiscal year.
Clinton's nonprofit disbursed $675,000 to just nine other progressive outfits during its 2020 fiscal year, almost half of which ($325,000) went toward "voting rights" and infrastructure support at the North Fund, a nonprofit incubator that boasts connections to the Arabella Advisors-managed $1.6 billion dark money network.
Onward Together also gave grants to the Latino Victory Fund, Kind Inc., iVote Inc., Living United for Change in Arizona, Dream Big Nevada, Higher Heights Political Fund and the Independent Media Institute.
