-Lurid Crime Tales-
26 Migrants Found Abandoned in Semi-Tractor-Trailer near Texas Border
[Breitbart] Maverick County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call from citizens reporting banging coming from an abandoned semi-trailer on the city’s outskirts early Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, deputies found 26 migrants sealed inside the abandoned trailer, gasping for air. The migrants had been loaded into the trailer by unknown persons who had fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement authorities.

Sheriff Tom Schmerber told Breitbart that Texas interviews conducted at the time of the rescue indicate the migrants were brought to the trailer in small groups in preparation for the longer trip to San Antonio. Eagle Pass is 157 miles southwest of San Antonio. At the time of the discovery, the temperature outside the trailer was slightly above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

The trailer parking area is approximately three miles from the international boundary between Mexico and the United States. Schmerber says the migrants who had spent the greater amount of time sealed in the trailer began to beat on the walls and scream for help.

Several migrants were transported to a local hospital for medical attention and were subsequently treated and released to the Border Patrol. Authorities say the migrants were from Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica, and Central America. According to Sheriff Schmerber, the migrants were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol, and the incident will be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).

The incident is reminiscent of the tragic June 2022 incident in San Antonio, Texas, that claimed the lives of 53 migrants. In that human smuggling event, 65 migrants were discovered in a semi-tractor trailer after smugglers abandoned the vehicle near an industrial park outside the city. At the time of discovery, 48 migrants were found dead inside the sweltering trailer. Five migrants died at local medical facilities within days of the event.

Thus far, four suspects have pleaded guilty for their involvement in the deadliest human smuggling event in the United States. A Guatemalan national, Rigoberto Ramon Miranda-Orozco, was arrested in relation to the San Antonio smuggling event in Guatemala in August. The Department of Justice announced his arrest after the conclusion of a joint enforcement effort with Guatemalan authorities, resulting in the arrest of Miranda, who is suspected of smuggling 21 Guatemalan nationals in the deadly 2022 event. Miranda is alleged to have charged some of the victims between $12,000 and $15,000 to traffic the migrants to the United States.

Dallas police confirm Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua is in Texas
Aurora/Denver, Chicago, and now Dallas. There are your three, Mercutio. Also Juarez in Mexico across from El Paso, and New York City migrant shelters… a good deal more than three.
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] In a startling and surprising admission, the Dallas Police Department confirmed Tren De Aragua is in North Texas committing crimes, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The notorious South American mob best known for sex trafficking girls and women and exploiting their fellow Venezuelans, crossed the US-Mexico border in recent years- as DailyMail.com was first to report- mixed in with asylum-seeking migrants, and is behind a crime wave stretching from Miami to New York.

Last week in Aurora, Colorado, gang members were seen in a video storming an apartment complex armed to the hilt with assault rifles and banging on doors.

In North Texas, the criminal organization's presence had been rumored for at least a year, but for the first time ever, law enforcement officials have publicly confirmed their arrival.

'We have had gang activity in the north Dallas area linked to the Tren De Aragua gang from Venezuela,' Dallas Police Department spokeswoman Jennifer Pryor told DailyMail.com.

Texas cops stopped short of detailing what specific crimes TdA, as the gang is known by federal agents, has been involved in locally-- citing on-going investigations.

'Our department is collaborating with other agencies to address possible crimes linked to this and other gangs in our city,' Pryor added.

This latest development is the next logical step, after TdA established its new headquarters on the US-Mexico border, just south of El Paso, Texas.

As a DailyMail.com investigation revealed, Venezuelan migrants have infiltrated food delivery and ride-share apps, renting or buying accounts that do not belong to them and showing up at your door illegally.

The Venezuelan community in Dallas is concentrated in an enclave in the northern part of the city, named Villa Dallas by the Venezuelan migrants who first arrived there years ago. Thugs living in the area plunged Villa Dallas into mayhem, an October 2023 report by by DailyMail.com showed. The neighborhood became the scene of illegal street races, beatings, shootings and extortion attempts.

'A lot of these people are criminals from the (Nicholas) Maduro regime,' Miami immigration attorney Rolando Vazquez stated.

'Some are ex-security forces. They are professional criminals or part of criminal organizations.'

Some South American thugs are members of so called 'Collectivos' or Venezuelan state-run militia, Vazquez says. The government-backed gangs run Venezuelan towns, demanding bribes, taking personal items from homes simply because they want to, and killing or attacking citizens at the request of Maduro, who was indicted by the US government in 2020 for narco-terrorism and drug-trafficking charges.

'The same people so many migrants left Venezuela to escape from are now here,' Vazquez added.

'They're the ones who attacked people for their political beliefs, and they are now in the US. They're doing Maduro's dirty work, and it's not just Dallas. It's Miami; it's Chicago.'

Conservative estimates put the Venezuelan population in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex at at least 20,000-- many of them living in Villa Dallas.

In July 2023, the Dallas Police designated The Oaks as a habitual crime property and confirmed officers have increased their presence there.

'Our Neighborhood Police Officers are setting up a crime watch meeting to speak with tenants and address the crime in the area,' Dallas police said in a statement.

Law-abiding migrants who have the money to move out have already left, and those who don't try to keep their heads down and hope they don't get hit by a stray bullet or sucked into the violence.

Since Dallas police first moved in to crack down on crime in Villa Dallas, the apartment that was the center of the chaos is under new management, and many of the trouble markers have been forced out. However residents say the trouble makers have simply re-located, not left.

In July, the US government designated TdA as a transnational criminal organization.

'Today’s designation of Tren de Aragua as a significant Transnational Criminal Organization underscores the escalating threat it poses to American communities,' Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence Brian Nelson said last month.

TdA's leader remains on the run with a $5 million bounty on his head.

The notorious criminal organization Tren de Aragua, or TdA as it is known by federal agents, previously operated out of an infamous South American prison. But after kingpin Hector Guerrero Flores escaped last year, the mafia moved its command center to Ciudad Juarez in Mexico on the US border - directly across from El Paso, Texas, local officials told DailyMail.com.

'Tren de Aragua is the epitome of evil,' Congressman Tony Gonzales, who represents El Paso, said.

'This gang is known to rape children, spearhead murders, and cause widespread chaos.'

Since forming behind the walls of the Tocoron Prison in the Venezuelan state of Aragua, Tren de Aragua (Spanish for Train of Aragua) is now linked to widespread human and sex trafficking on the South American continent. Law enforcement now considers the gang as dangerous as El Salvador's Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13.

TdA succeeded in transforming itself from a group of prison thugs to one of the most dangerous criminal gangs in the world partly because the Venezuelan government allowed its incarcerated leaders, known as Pranes, to run the penitentiary. From there, TdA's influence spread to neighborhoods across Venezuela through the establishment of alliances with smaller gangs, according to Insightcrime.org. In 2018, the gang went international, moving over the border to neighboring Colombia where they began to exploit their countrymen fleeing Venezuela's communist regime.

'While larger Colombian groups focused on drug trafficking, Tren de Aragua began to exploit Venezuelan migrants systematically, charging them extortion fees, smuggling them into and throughout Colombia, and taking control of various nodes of the human trafficking for sexual exploitation market,' the crime publication stated.

Now in Northern Mexico, TdA is once again taking advantage of desperate migrants. Gangsters are charging huge fees to smuggle migrants to the US border and then into Texas. However, the mobsters are also kidnapping migrants who have made it to the US-Mexico border without their help in a bid to make even more money.

'According to the security reports we have, this group of Venezuelans, Tren de Aragua, control which migrants can ride the train,' Mexico state prosecutor Carlos Manuel Salas said - referring to the many migrants who ride a top trains in Mexico to reach Juarez to avoid having to make the journey by foot.

Kidnapped migrants are often held captive in Juarez until TdA can get a ransom from the migrant's family back home, with many women forced into prostitution.

Sudan army repels RSF attack on strategic base in Khartoum Bahri
[SUDANTRIBUNE] Sudan
...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. It is noted for its affinity for rule by ex- or current generals, its holy men, and for the oppression of the native Afro population by its Arab conquerors. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans...
's army repelled a fierce attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on a strategic base in Khartoum Bahri on Monday, as fighting between the two sides intensified in the area north of the capital.

The RSF has held most of Khartoum Bahri since the conflict began in April, while the army retains control of strategic camps in the area, including the Signal Corps, Khattab base, and the Kadaro base.

Military sources told Sudan Tribune the RSF launched the attack on the Khattab base and the Kadaro suburb camp early Monday morning.

The RSF mobilized a large number of fighters from the East Nile region, in addition to its forces stationed at the Khartoum oil refinery in the town of al-Jaili, in an attempt to take control of Khattab camp and Kadaro.

Heavy artillery bombarded the Khattab base and the weapons depot, followed by direct festivities with the army that lasted until late Monday night.

The RSF claimed on social media to have taken control of the Khattab area after inflicting heavy losses on the army. The army said it repelled the attacks and inflicted heavy losses on the RSF, killing dozens of soldiers and some prominent commanders in Bahri and East Nile. It also said it destroyed military vehicles and seized others in good condition along with about four trucks loaded with fuel.

The army published photos of a number of RSF prisoners and displayed the military and civilian vehicles that were seized.

The commander of the Bahri military region, Major General al-Numan Ali Awad al-Karim, inspected the Khattab base on Tuesday and addressed a crowd of soldiers, confirming the defeat of the attacking forces.

six persons reportedly died instantly in the Congo community, in the neighbouring Zarap community two persons were killed.

PUNCH reports that Kefas Mallai, Chairman of the Community Peace Service in Bokkos LGA, confirmed two separate attacks in Jos on Wednesday.

Mallai stated, "On Tuesday night around 7 pm, gunnies attacked the Angwa and Zarap communities. It was unexpected, especially as the residents were trying to move past the trauma of previous incidents.

"In Angwa Congo, residents were relaxing and enjoying themselves after the market day when armed assailants suddenly appeared and opened fire on those nearby. Six people were killed on the spot, and several others were maimed. Among the victims was Kenneth Kadish, a member of the Community Peace Service in Bokkos LGA.

Shooting in Munich in front of the NS Dokuzentrum (and Israeli consulate)
[Merkur.de) Police have released an initial statement regarding an incident at the NS-Dokuzentrum in Munich. Shots were reported at around 9 am, and an exchange of fire took place between a suspicious person with a long gun and patrol officers. The suspect was injured and still at the scene, being attended to by police and special forces. There are no indications of other perpetrators involved. As of now, there are no reports of any other injured individuals during the operation. The Israeli Consulate General, where a memorial service was being held, confirmed that their employees were unharmed. Jewish institutions in the area have gone into lockdown. This incident took place on September 5, the anniversary of the 1972 Munich Olympic bombing carried out by Palestinian terrorists.

Summarizing information in comments as of 1:00 p.m. ET for future searchability:

The shooter is a Bosnian-Austrian named Emra I., born in 2006, age 18. He lived in Neumarkt am Wallersee, Salzburg, and had been investigated by the police last year for connections to ISIS and radical Islam due to his interest in ISIS, weapons, and explosives; while the investigation was dropped, he was banned from having a gun until 2028. However, the 18th century repeating carbine he carried does not require a license or permit in Austria. He drove over from Salzburg this morning before commencing his nefarious activities, but was quickly shot dead by the local constabulary.

There is a large and aggressive radical Islam scene in Austria, particularly Austrian-born ISIS big turban Mohamed Mahmoud, who died in an air raid on an ISIS prison in Syria in 2018, but it connects to the Balkans and Chechnya rather than the Middle East.

Media reports point to teenage Islamist from Austria

First reports on the identity of the man started to emerge in Germany and Austria just after lunch.

The joint investigative reporting team of the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper and broadcasters WDR and MDR, typically reliable and with good connections to German security services, reported that the suspect was an Austrian citizen born in 2006.

Similarly, Germany's Der Spiegel, on its website, and Austrian newspaper Der Standard reported that he was an 18-year-old Austrian national. They also said he was already known to security services for Islamist tendencies, and was a resident of the state of Salzburg that borders Bavaria and Germany. He drove to Munich on Thursday morning, they said.

Different reporters confirming details. As I recall, it’s a pleasant drive from Munich to Salzburg, even with small children. ;-)

Young Emra I. had been investigated last year for religious radicalization and interest in explosives and weapons, and links to ISIS were found on his phone, but the investigation was dropped. His phone today contained ISIS propaganda and gaming links. He was banned from having a gun until 2028, but 18th century repeating carabiners (if I have that right) do not require a gun license or permit. Austrian police are currently searching his home in Neumarkt am Wallersee.

Also in Austria there is a "very aggressive and relatively large Islamist scene", as Schindler says. "There is a circle of hate preachers there, just like here." The Austrian-born Mohamed Mahmoud was particularly well known: The Islamist was part of the leadership of the Islamic State (IS) in Syria. In 2018, he is said to have died in an air raid on an IS prison in Syria.

Big Islamist scene in Austria

The Islamist scene in Austria feeds less from the Arab region than from Chechnya or Balkan countries, explains expert Schindler. And: "There has been a huge illegal arms trade in Austria for several years. In recent years, the authorities have regularly found camps with hundreds of weapons, but mostly in the right-wing extremist scene. Many weapons would come into the country unnoticed via the Balkan route and are relatively easy to obtain.

Weapon in Munich "extraordinary": "Last seen by an Afghan warlord"

However, the weapon used in Munich is "extraordinary", according to Schindler: "The last time I saw such an ancient repeating rifle on the wall of an Afghan warlord." It is unclear whether the alleged Islamist killed in Munich was known to the authorities as a dangerous person. In Austria, he is reportedly on the screen, but in Germany he is not yet known to the authorities.

According to security circles, the surveillance of dangerous persons in Austria is more difficult than in this country. "The online observation of extremists and terrorists is even more difficult in Austria than in Germany. The Austrian security authorities seem to have even fewer powers than the authorities in Germany," says Hans-Jakob Schindler.

#26  "18th century repeating carabiners (if I have that right) do not require a gun license or permit."

The rifle is probably a Mauser repeater rifle used in WW2 (not 18th century). It was freely available in Germany (and Austria, I guess) until 1976 and now sells cheaply on the black market (300 Euros). It always required a permit, which the shooter was not allowed to have.

#27  The Mauser 98 was introduced as early as 1898, before the First World War, in the time of Kaiser Wilhelm II. A legendary, groundbreaking weapon at the time. Mauser proudly writes that it is the ancestor of all bolt-action rifles, often copied but never equaled. The Mauser, also known as the Gewehr 98, is the culmination and also the end of a development. It is a multiple-shot rifle without an automatic firing sequence. The rifle has a magazine with five cartridges, which are individually pushed into the barrel using the conspicuous lever.

During the Second World War, the shorter 98K variant was the standard weapon of the German infantry. The robustness of the breech and the possible accuracy spoke for it. The only disadvantages were the five cartridges in the magazine and the heavy caliber of the cartridges.

#28  Thank you for actually knowing what I was trying to talk about, European Conservative. While my German grandfather was a gunnery sergeant in WWI and an avid hunter, and my father was a shooting instructor for Haganah, due to his training as a schoolboy in Latvia, I did not grow up with guns. I’ve actually only physically touched a gun once in my life, and never had occasion to shoot one. I was transcribing what Merkur and Deutsche Welle reported today.

#30  More from Deutsche Welle — updated from link above:

DW correspondent Lewis Sanders, reporting from Munich, expanded, saying, "Austrian authorities announced that the shooter was known to them and he had been under investigation last year for suspected radicalization and ties to a terrorist group."

Sanders said, "We have seen local media reports with sources in the security services saying that a raid had taken place at the shooter's residence last year and material related to the Syrian-based militant group al-Nusra, which historically has ties to al-Qaeda, had been found."

Al Nusra/Al Qaeda in addition to ISIS? That fits with things we’ve seen over the years from other young jihadis: they just want someone to sanction their murders — and maybe even pay the cost for supplies and a stipend. They don’t care about the fine points of doctrine and loyalty that differentiate the various jihadi groups and had their elders at daggers drawn, in previous generations.

Germany: Police raids target alleged people-smuggling ring
[DW] More than 300 officers were deployed across five states, with the focal point the eastern city of Jena and state of Thuringia. Police said five arrests were made in Wednesday's raids, as part of a larger case.

German police launched widespread raids early on Wednesday targeting a suspected people-smuggling ring that's thought to have helped at least 140 people come to Germany via the Balkans illegally in exchange for payment.

A front man for the federal police said that the focal points of the operation were the eastern state of Thuringia and the city of Jena.

WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT THE OPERATION?
Police said that 15 of the 19 properties searched were in Thuringia, and 10 of them in Jena itself.

Individuals brought into the country were initially being housed in an apartment there, police said.

A total of roughly 340 officers mobilized across five states in all, including special GSG9 units in Jena, with searches also taking place further west in Baden-Wurttemberg, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia.

"The goal of the measures was the discovery and seizure of evidence that could prove the crimes," police said of Wednesday's raids. "Documents, electronic storage devices, cash and other valuables were the focus."

WHAT POLICE SAID ABOUT THE ALLEGED GROUP AND SUSPECTS
Police said five men were arrested in Wednesday's operation — three Syrian nationals and two with Iraqi citizenship. All five were arrested in Thuringia. Three were detained in the city of Jena, one in Sondershausen and another in Bad Sulza.

Police said that in total the case involved 18 suspects, ranging from 23 to 57 years of age, from drivers up to the more organizational level.

"Investigations indicate that since December 2022 at least 140 people were transported to Germany by the group," police said in a statement. "The smugglers are thought to have demanded around €700 (roughly $775) for transportation to Germany from Slovakia." For continued transportation to another country neighboring Germany, they would charge a further €500, police said.

This was done in exchange for payment made via intermediaries using the informal so-called "Hawala" transfer system that is outlawed in Germany. Two Hawala intermediaries, known as hawaldar, are among the suspects.

Investigators identified and tracked down the suspects after intercepting several vans, the group's preferred method of transport, at the borders.

A core responsibility of Germany's federal police force, or Bundespolizei, is policing Germany's borders.

The operation comes amid an increased political focus on the issue of migration of late, following a fatal knife attack in Solingen and the success of the anti-migration Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in state elections in Thuringia and Saxony on Sunday.

Iraqi migrant stabs Germany asylum hotel manager to death
Green on green.
[Rudaw] An Iraqi migrant stabbed the manager of a hotel hosting asylum seekers to death in the northwestern German state of Lower Saxony, local media reported on Tuesday, amid rising anti-migration sentiment and right-wing parties in the country.

The suspect, identified as a 35-year-old Iraqi man, fatally stabbed 61-year-old Afghan native "Ahmed A." at the train station in the small town of Sarstedt in Germany’s Lower Saxony state on Monday, German newspaper BILD reported.

A, was found bleeding heavily at the train station and died from his wounds shortly after, while the assailant had expeditiously departed at a goodly pace and was later caught in an operation by German special forces.

The Afghan national moved to Germany 34 years ago and ran a small hotel that provided accommodation for asylum seekers. He leaves behind a wife and six children, according to BILD, which added the suspect had arrived in Germany two years ago.

The spokeswoman for Hildesheim, a nearby city whose prosecutor has jurisdiction over Sarstedt, described the incident as "tragic," on local public broadcaster NDR Media.

"Officials currently have no information on whether the incident will affect the operation of the refugee accommodation in Sarstedt," Birgit Wilken said. "We are continuing to collaborate with the relevant authorities."

Up until about two years ago, give or take, the AfD's attitude towards expansionist, totalitarian political Islam had been opposition and rejection.

But that has changed. Perhaps the Russians are calling in favors as a political pay off to the Mullahs and Erdogan.

Greta Thunberg briefly detained at Copenhagen protest urging boycott of Israel
[IsraelTimes] Climate activist is among group of protesters who entered university building, hung anti-Israel banner from window; she is later released from detention

Danish police detained activist Greta "Pippi" Thunberg
...an autistic sixteen year old Swedish expert on climate change, though I guess she's older now...
at a Copenhagen protest against the war in Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
and Israel’s military rule of the West Bank on Wednesday, a spokesperson for the organizers of the demonstration said.

Thunberg was later released from detention, according to Danish media reports, and the daily Ekstra Bladet showed video footage of her walking out of a cop shoppe.

Six people were tossed into the calaboose at Copenhagen University after about 20 people blocked the entrance to a building and three entered, a police spokesperson said, without commenting on individual detainees.

Police evicted the demonstrators after they hung an anti-Israel banner from one of the windows of the university’s old administration building in downtown Copenhagen.

Widely known for her campaign to end human-made climate change, Swedish-born Thunberg has increasingly taken up the Paleostinian cause and said in May such protests "should be everywhere."

A video posted by Students Against the Occupation, a pro-Paleostinian, anti-Israel student group, showed uniformed coppers leading Thunberg and other detainees into a police van while handcuffed or with their hands tied behind their backs.

Thunberg wore a scarf around her shoulders imprinted with the traditional Paleostinian keffiyeh pattern, a common symbol among pro-Paleostinian demonstrators.

The Copenhagen University may take disciplinary action against enrolled students who took part in the protest, Kristian Cedervall Lauta, prorector of education at the university said in an email. Thunberg is not a student at the university.
Technically speaking, Ms Thunberg is a high school dropout turned professional Black Bloc agitator.
Students against the Occupation said in an Instagram statement that "while the situation in Paleostine only gets worse, the University of Copenhagen continues cooperation with academic institutions in Israel."

"We are occupying" the university’s "central administration with one demand: academic boycott now."
Her parents are probably still so happy that they got her through to adulthood without suicide that they don’t care that she was trained to be a stone cold psychopath.

Turkish police arrest 119 in major ISIS-related crackdown
Article dated 30 August 2024. We missed it last Friday.
[KhaamaPress] Ottoman Turkish state news agencies reported that the police have arrested 119 individuals on charges of collaborating with ISIS.

On August 30, Anatolia News Agency reported that Ottoman Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated that the operation, known as "Mace 10," was conducted by the Ottoman Turkish police’s intelligence and counter-terrorism units.

Ottoman Turkish security forces in 23 provinces jointly arrested 119 individuals as a result of the operation.

The report noted that all detainees have been handed over to the Ottoman Turkish judiciary.

Earlier, on August 25, the Interior Minister mentioned that security forces had detained 72 individuals suspected of links to ISIS across 13 cities.

In early April, The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

’s Interior Ministry announced that nearly 3,000 people had been arrested over the past ten months on charges of ISIS membership.

The increased activities of ISIS in the region have raised significant security concerns for neighboring countries.

The resurgence of the group has heightened fears of cross-border terrorist activities and regional instability, prompting stronger counter-terrorism measures and cooperation among affected nations.

Turkish strike kills a civilian in NE Erbil: CPT
[Rudaw] A shepherd was killed in a Ottoman Turkish bombardment of a village in northeastern Erbil on Tuesday, according to a local health official and a war monitor. The area is known for festivities between the Ottoman Turkish military and Kurdish fighters.

Badi’ Kamal Mohammed, 29, was maimed when Ottoman Turkish air forces hit the Senin meadow in the Sidakan district of Erbil province, hospital director Karwan Faysal told Rudaw. Faysal added that Mohammed was brought to Sidakan hospital, where the civilian succumbed to his wounds

The incident took place around 4 pm, also striking houses of villagers, Rudaw has learned.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

often hits Sidakan on the premise of targeting alleged positions of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Turkey has yet to comment.

organization monitoring the conflict, told Rudaw English that the bombardment took place in Merga Hawsh village, adding that the man, a shepherd, is from a nearby village.

"Twelve civilians have fallen victim to the Ottoman Turkish army’s attacks and operations in the Kurdistan Region since the beginning of this year. The figure contains ten deaths and two injuries. Five of the victims are from Sidakan," he said.

Turkey’s bombardment of PKK positions can be heard daily in the highlands. The situation in these areas is increasingly tense as the Ottoman Turkish army continues its incursion into the Kurdistan Region.

The mayor of Sidakan told Rudaw in July that nearly half of the district was no longer under local control.

"Of the total 1,617 kilometers of Sidakan area, 46 percent is no longer under our control, due to Turkey's entry to a depth of 30 kilometers and fighting between Turkey and the PKK," Ihsan Chalabi said.

Sidakan’s highlands are renowned for their fertile pastures. However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
due to the ongoing fighting and instability, livestock breeders, farmers, and beekeepers have been unable to access them for two years.

Turkey’s defense ministry announced on Monday that its forces had struck and "destroyed" 20 suspected positions of the PKK in the mountainous areas of the Kurdistan Region, including Khwakurk area near Sidakan.

Bomb blast kills Iraqi army officer in Kirkuk
[Rudaw] An Iraqi army officer was killed and two others were maimed on Wednesday when an improvised bomb (IED) detonated in Kirkuk province.

"At around 6:30 this evening in the village of Tuwelaa near al-Gharra Mountain in the Dubz district, an improvised bomb detonated on an Iraqi army military vehicle, resulting in the martyrdom of one lieutenant colonel and injuries to another lieutenant colonel and a soldier," Amer Nuri, spokesperson for Kirkuk police, told Rudaw.

The injured were transferred to a hospital in Kirkuk. The blast destroyed the vehicle.

‎The officer who was killed was named as Laith al-Hayali, intelligence director for the 8th Division of Kirkuk Operations Command.‎

Iraq’s defense ministry confirmed his death and vowed Dire Revenge on the "terrorists."

Unidentified drone strike kills three in Sulaimani province
[Rudaw] A suspected dronezap on a vehicle in Sulaimani’s Khalakan subdistrict on Wednesday killed three people, a local official said, with the strike taking place in an area frequently targeted by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...just another cheapjack Moslem dictatorship, brought to you by the Moslem Brüderbund...
Kamaran Abdullah, mayor of Khalakan, told Rudaw that three people were killed in a dronezap on a vehicle between Mergapasha and Khalakan villages, and their bodies are unidentified due to them being completely burned.

"A Jeep vehicle containing three people was bombarded and all three were burned and bit the dust," Khalakan health director Malband Hamad told Rudaw, adding that their identities remain unknown.

Local security forces have launched an investigation into the incident.

"The car was hit by a drone. The car immediately went up in flames and the three citizens were martyred," Sirwan Lala Sarhad, mayor of Dukan district, told Rudaw.

"The bodies were burned, the car was burned. We could not recognise them," he added.

Sarhad said that the sub-districts within the administration of Dukan have been bombed multiple times over the past few years, however this was the second time a drone targeted a vehicle.

No one has grabbed credit for the attack, but it was carried out in an area that Turkey has previously targeted on the grounds of fighting the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The PKK is a Kurdish group that has waged an armed insurgency against the Ottoman Turkish state in the struggle for greater Kurdish rights for decades and is designated a terrorist organization by Ankara.

PKK-affiliated Rojnews accused Turkey of carrying out the strike, saying it struck a civilian vehicle.

In August 2023, a Ottoman Turkish drone struck a vehicle on the Dukan-Khalakan road, commonly used by civilian vehicles, killing one person.

Ankara routinely accuses the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), which controls Sulaimani province, of having close ties with the PKK. A flight ban on Sulaymaniyah International Airport has been in place since April 2023, due to what Turkey alleges is an "intensification" of PKK activity in the province.

On Tuesday, Ottoman Turkish warplanes bombarded a village in northeastern Erbil’s Sidakan district, killing a shepherd. The area is infamous for festivities between the Ottoman Turkish military and the PKK.

Cops clash with Tel Aviv protesters demanding hostage deal; officer assaults ToI reporter for second time in 3 days
[IsraelTimes] The anti-government, pro-hostage deal demonstration on Tel Aviv’s Begin Street ends after a series of festivities between police and protesters.

A group representing people arrested at anti-government demonstrations says at least four protesters were arrested.

The protest eschews speeches for angry chants.

After protesters march toward the southern perimeter of the rally’s allotted area, officers stationed there push them back, yanking a man out of the crowd and tossing him to the ground.

Protesters recede and light a bonfire some 20 meters north of the perimeter.

They chant: "Ben Gvir is a terrorist," referring to National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, who is in charge of the police, and "Where were you in Sde Teiman?" referring to the police’s failure to arrest members of a far-right mob that stormed the southern IDF detention facility on July 29 after military coppers detained reservists there of suspicion of having sodomized a Paleostinian inmate.

Police announce the protest is a public nuisance and drums and megaphones will be confiscated, despite it being an hour before sound pollution laws kick in.

They begin shoving protesters, violent mostly peacefully detaining one after snatching his megaphone, even though he wasn’t using it.

One officer shoves this Times of Israel news hound trying to capture the arrest on video, hits him on the side of the neck and knocks the phone out of his hand.

Hezbollah pounds Galilee with over 100 rockets, causing heavy damage but no injuries
[IsraelTimes] Home in Kiryat Shmona takes direct hit, with owner saying his parents’ home was hit when he was a kid; firefighters tackle blazes sparked by rockets

More than 100 rockets were fired from Leb
...an Iranian satrapy currently ruled by Hassan Nasrallah situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozen flavors of Christians, plus Armenians, Georgians, and who knows what else? It is the home of the original Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
at northern Israel on Wednesday, sparking fires and causing damage but no injuries, authorities said. Within an hour just before noon, some 65 rockets were launched from Lebanon at the Galilee Panhandle area, according to the Israel Defense Forces.

Several rockets impacted the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, causing damage to at least one home, local authorities said.

The IDF said some of the rockets were intercepted by air defenses. Others hit open areas, sparking fires. Firefighters were working to extinguish the blazes.

The Iran-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah took responsibility for the barrage, claiming to have targeted Israeli military positions.

Later in the day, one projectile was fired from Lebanon at the border community of Shtula, and another five rockets were launched at Zar’it in the Western Galilee, according to the IDF.

In the evening hours, the IDF said that one anti-tank guided missile was fired from Lebanon at the Kiryat Shmona area, and a barrage of some 30 rockets was launched at the Galilee Panhandle.

The military said that some of the rockets were intercepted while others impacted open areas, sparking fires near Kfar Blum.

There were no injuries in the attacks, claimed by Hezbollah.

Israeli fighter jets struck also Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon Kounine and Qabrikha, which were used in previous attacks on Israel, the IDF said.

The military released footage of the strikes.

Later Wednesday, the IDF said that it struck a building in southern Lebanon’s Houla where several Hezbollah operatives were identified.

Eliezer Peretz, whose home in Kiryat Shmona was struck by a rocket, told the Walla news outlet that he had been in the northern city of Safed, where he runs a market stall, when he received a call from his municipality telling him that his home had taken a direct hit. Peretz said he had still not seen the damage but that officials told him it was heavy.

"This is really hard," Peretz said, explaining that it was a brand new home for him and his family.

"My wife and I put a lot of energy and money into it," he said. "This is a really harsh situation and you can’t get used to it."

"The important thing is that we are healthy and well," he said. "What was destroyed we will rebuild."

As a child growing up in the city, he said his parents’ home had also been hit by a rocket from Lebanon.

"I grew up in this reality," he said.

The Peretz family, along with the rest of Kirya Shmona, was evacuated to a hotel in Tiberias when fighting in the north started last year. Tens of thousands of northern residents were moved to safer areas and have still not returned to their homes.

Earlier Wednesday, the IDF said it struck a Hezbollah rocket launcher in southern Lebanon’s Zibqin, used in a previous attack on Israel. Buildings used by Hezbollah in Khiam and Ayta ash-Shab were also struck, the military added.

Since October 8, Hezbollah-led forces have attacked Israeli communities and military posts along the border on a near-daily basis. More than 8,000 rockets have been fired at Israel from Lebanon since the start of the war.

So far, the skirmishes have resulted in 26 civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of 20 IDF soldiers and reservists. There have also been several attacks from Syria, without any injuries.

Hezbollah has named 432 members who have been killed by Israel during the ongoing skirmishes, mostly in Lebanon but some also in Syria. Another 76 operatives from other terror groups, a Lebanese soldier, and dozens of civilians have also been killed.

Ahmed Fawzi Nasser Muhammad Wadiyya was among eight Hamas bully boyz killed in the strike on a compound used by the terror group near Gaza City’s al-Ahli hospital, according to a joint statement from the Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet.

The military said that Wadiyya was the commander of a Nukhba force company in the terror group’s Daraj-Tuffah Battalion. On October 7, he entered Netiv Ha’asara — a moshav near the Gaza border — by paraglider and oversaw the massacre of 22 of the community’s 900 residents.

He was the terrorist who was filmed drinking Coca-Cola from the fridge of the Taasa family home, moments after murdering Gil Taasa, 46, in front of his two youngest sons, Koren, 12, and Shay, 8, inside the same home.

Gil, a senior firefighter in the Ashkelon fire station, grabbed his gun and shot at the bully boyz until he ran out of bullets, his son Koren later recounted in an interview with the Kan public broadcaster.

Then, the bully boyz threw a grenade into the shelter they were hiding in: "There’s no way he wasn’t afraid but he decided to save us and he jumped on the grenade... there was a kaboom, I saw smoke, and suddenly we were covered in blood."

Koren said the bully boyz came to check that Gil was actually dead, then drank the cola that was in the fridge and left the house. The two maimed brothers ran next door to their mother, where they hid in their safe room for hours until they were evacuated.

Gil’s oldest son Or, 17, had left early that morning to go fishing with some friends on Zikim beach, where he was murdered in the onslaught.

The family was updated on Monday that the IDF and the Shin Bet had taken out Wadiyya amid the ongoing war in Gaza, sparked by Hamas’s October 7 massacre, which left 1,200 dead and 251 taken hostage.

The IDF said that the other seven bully boyz killed in the Gaza City strike were also members of the Daraj-Tuffah Battalion, including one who was involved in supplying the bombs used by the terror group to breach the Gaza security barrier on October 7.

The strike took place outside the hospital, and the military noted that it took various steps to mitigate harm to civilians.

Troops shoot, wound suspect who approached border fence from Syria
[IsraelTimes] A suspect who approached the Israeli border from Syria in the Golan Heights earlier today was shot by troops, the military says.

The IDF says soldiers carrying out routine activity along the border spotted the suspect near Israel’s fence and fired warning shots so that he would return to Syria.

The suspect did not manage to breach the fence, according to the IDF.

A military source says the suspect was hit by the gunfire and taken to a hospital in Israel for treatment.

The incident is under further investigation by the IDF.

IDF says it killed more than 200 terror operatives in Gaza’s Tel Sultan, located dozens of weapons
[IsraelTimes] Israeli troops have killed more than 200 terror operatives during operations led by the 162nd Division in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah in the southern Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks.
Strip in recent weeks, the IDF says.

The military says dozens of weapons hidden inside homes in the neighborhood have also been located.

In one incident, troops searching a building battled a gunman. In the basement, the IDF says, the soldiers located a cache of weapons and supplies used by the terror operatives.

More than 10 long-range rocket launchers were also located in the Tel Sultan area, the military adds.

The Hamas

The figure cannot be independently verified and includes more than 17,000 Hamas button men Israel says it has killed in battle. Israel also says it killed some 1,000 forces of Evil inside Israel on October 7.

Car explosion kills Asayish official in Qamishli: Monitor
[Rudaw] An official of the internal security forces (Asayish) in northeast Syria (Rojava) was killed on Tuesday after his car went kaboom!, allegedly due to a Ottoman Turkish dronezap, near a prison complex in the city of Qamishli, a war monitor reported.

"A car belonging to a commander in the Asayish went kaboom! near the prison of Umm al-Fursan in the countryside of Qamishli, north of Hasaka," said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a UK-based war monitor.

The car explosion coincided with the presence of a Ottoman Turkish drone in the air, the Observatory added.
That’s certainly suggestive…
Hawar News Agency (ANHA), a local media outlet affiliated with the Kurdish-led administration in Rojava, reported the Asayish cordoned off the area and launched an investigation into the earth-shattering kaboom.

The Umm al-Fursan prison in Qamishli hosts detainees under investigation by the Asayish, according to ANHA.

On Wednesday, a mother and her son were killed by a boom-mobile in an urban street in Qamishli, the Asayish said at the time. A landmine had been planted inside the vehicle prior to the earth-shattering kaboom.

The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
has yet to claim responsibility for Tuesday’s explosion.

Ankara frequently carries out strikes in northern Syria on the grounds of targeting affiliates of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) - a Kurdish group that has waged an armed insurgency against the Ottoman Turkish state in the struggle for greater Kurdish rights for decades.

The PKK and its alleged offshoots in Syria are designated as "terrorist" organizations by Ankara.

(ISIS) murderous Moslems also continue to pose serious security risks in Rojava, including boom-mobileings, hit-and-run attacks, and abductions.
