[DailyWire] A man who pleaded guilty to child sex charges was killed during a shootout with Milwaukee police over the weekend at the conclusion of a high speed car chase that was ignited after he allegedly killed his ex-girlfriend just a few days after a judge blocked prosecutors from keeping him behind bars until his sentencing hearing.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man that was killed as 47-year-old Ernest Terrell Blakney, who was wanted for charges related to the slaying of his ex-girlfriend, including, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted mutilating a corpse, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a felon, felony bail jumping, and false imprisonment.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that the shootout with law enforcement officers happened at the conclusion of a car chase that started on the south side and ended in the downtown area.
Blakney was charged last year with second-degree sexual assault of a child for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old. He pled guilty to the charge last month and was freed on bail by Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski who denied prosecutors motion to keep him in jail.
Videos of the Blakney’s gun fight with law enforcement quickly went viral on social media as numerous police cars followed him in hot pursuit.

Good old fashioned police work. How rare and... invigorating. To know there are still people in uniform who'll shoot until bad guy is dead dead dead. Every time I read of an 'arrest' I feel like hitting something.

You think the judge maybe violated her civil rights?
[NEWINDIANEXPRESS] KARAIKAL: A 13-year-old boy was murdered by his classmate's mother at Karaikal. The woman spiked a drink and served it to the teenager on Friday since she didn't want the boy to outperform her daughter at school. The boy passed away at the hospital on Saturday night.
The accused has been identified as J Sahayarani Victoria (42). She was booked for murder and arrested.
The boy was studying Class 8 in a private school in Karaikal. He was said to be a topper of his class and good in extracurricular activities. Sahayarani was allegedly resentful towards the boy who was faring better than her daughter who studies in the same class.
The school celebrated its annual day on Friday. The boy was scheduled to perform in the cultural events as part of the celebrations. Sahayarani visited the school in the morning, falsely introduced herself as the boy’s mother to the school watchman, gave him a couple of bottles of soft drinks and asked him to give the bottles to the boy.
The boy consumed one of the bottles and soon fell sick. Once he reached home, he threw up. The worried parents rushed him to Karaikal General Hospital where he succumbed.
Earlier, the teenager told his parents what had happened. The parents accessed the school’s surveillance camera footage and identified the woman as Sahayayarani Victoria. Following this, they lodged a complaint with the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal, R Lokeshwaran told TNIE, "The accused confessed that she bought the laxative pills from a traditional pharmacy, mixed them in the soft drinks and gave them to the boy through the watchman of the school. She wanted to stop the boy from participating in the school's annual day events. We are waiting for the autopsy reports to find out what was exactly added to the drinks she gave the boy."
Following the boy's death, his parents and relatives protested in front of the hospital all night. They alleged that the hospital did not treat him properly. The protests continued on Sunday morning. Karaikal's Deputy Collector M Adharsh met the family and appeased them by assuring necessary investigations into the incident.

Who gives a fuck what PETA says?
Politicians listen to all kinds of people including PETA. They have influence so, yeah, they deserve all the scorn and derision that can be brought to bear on them.

Politicians deal in fear. They especially pay attention to anything they fear may damage their publicity. But then they go and do stuff that damages their publicity anyway.

[Washington Examiner] Every one of the 4,000 beagles in a controversial Virginia facility has been removed nearly two months after the mission to rescue the dogs began.
Humane Society of the United States President and CEO Kitty Block announced the success of the operation of removing all the beagles from Envigo RMS LLC’s facility in Cumberland, Virginia, in a news release Friday.
"Our Animal Rescue Team’s work to transfer these beagles is a milestone in a fight we’ve been waging for years. It’s ironic that these dogs were only spared from a lifetime of pain, suffering and isolation in testing labs because this breeding facility was cited for Animal Welfare Act violations. Most of them would have been sold and spent their short lives in laboratories," Block said. "Many people don’t realize that an average of 60,000 dogs just like these are still used in laboratories each year. Even as we celebrate these lucky dogs going to loving homes, we’re focused on creating a future where no dogs will face that kind of fate."
The facility the beagles were held in was accused of mistreating the dogs, and a report from the Department of Agriculture found that there were over 300 puppy deaths at the facility from Jan. 1, 2021, to July 2, 2021.
Hundreds of people have adopted the rescued beagles, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being one of the most prominent couples to have adopted one of the 4,000 beagles.
Miguel Abi-hassan, the chief animal rescue, care, and sanctuary officer for the Humane Society of the United States, said the partners working with the Humane Society of the United States have given the beagles a "new lease on life."

TIJUANA (Border Report) — Last year became the deadliest for people trying to cross the border into the United States, with 555 perishing along waterways, deserts or while being trafficked in trucks or shipping containers.
“These are deaths registered by the Border Patrol,” said José Luis Pérez Canchola, head of Mexico’s Human Rights Academy.
He added that on a daily basis, there are trailers hauling migrants throughout Mexico like the one in which 53 migrants died after being trapped in San Antonio.
“This is also due to police corruption that allows this type of phenomenon to exist,” said Pérez Canchola. “The biggest risk for migrants is falling in the hands of organized crime that goes well beyond human trafficking that are tied to drug smuggling.”

[NEWAGEBD] A judicial magistrate court in Narayanganj on Sunday rejected a complaint filed by a leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party seeking an investigation against 42 police personnel, including district police superintendent Golam Mostofa Rashel and his deputies, for killing Juba Dal activist Shawon Pradhan in the city on September 1.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi filed the complaint with the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Imran Molla in the morning. The court rejected the complaint later in the day.
The BNP leader named sub-inspector Mahfuzur Rahman Kanak of the district detective branch as the prime accused, who was reportedly seen using the rifle.
Juba Dal activist Shawon was killed and 200 people were maimed in a clash in Narayanganj as law enforcers tried to prevent BNP leaders and activists from holding a rally marking the party’s 44th founding anniversary on September 1.
The district police front man and additional police superintendent, Amir Khasru, said on September 2 that Shawon’s brother, Monir Hossain, had filed a case accusing 5,000 BNP leaders and activists of his death.
The police also filed a case against 800 BNP leaders and activists over the clash between the BNP and law enforcers in Narayanganj.
Monir, however, alleged that the police duped him to take his signature while handing over the body of his brother and later he came to know it was a case against the BNP.
The district police front man dismissed the allegation and said that his brother filed the case. He claimed that the police only fired 700 shotgun bullets, 14 tear shells and three sound grenades.

[Western Standard] The niece said “my uncle passed away from what we believe is the COVID shot.”
'Your uncle was vaccinated and went for his booster shot with your aunt. What happened?'
“That morning, my aunt went first, and they had to lay her down because she almost passed out. An ambulance was called to assess her. While she is lying down, they administer my uncle’s shot. He immediately starts to have breathing problems. The technician tells him to ‘calm down’ and then my uncle passes out,” said the niece. Well, that worked
“The ambulance shows up, and instead takes my uncle! By now, they are performing CPR on him. He never again regains [consciousness.] He was declared passed away by the hospital doctor in the ER before my aunt and other family members could even get to the hospital.”
'Your uncle went straight from receiving his COVID-19 booster to the hospital ER, where he was declared dead?'
“Yes, it was noted that he was brought in by ambulance directly from having his booster shot! It was noted he had ongoing health issues since his second shot. It was noted in his previous checkups before the COVID vaccine that he was a healthy person and had no ongoing health issues,” said the niece.

Right, unhealthy since the second shot, so I think (with "informed consent" from his doctor, of course) I'll just go and pile on and get the booster.
Doctors need to go on trial and, at least, lose their licenses. They aren't practicing medicine anyway.

[Breitbart] Former first lady Melania Trump reportedly bought a new wardrobe after the FBI "contaminated" her clothes when they searched her room as part of last month’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Trump would not feel comfortable wearing any of the clothes FBI agents touched, a friend told Radar Online.
"Melania doesn’t like the idea of strangers going rifling through her things. Who knows who touched her underwear during the raid?" Trump’s friend said. "She’s never going to feel comfortable wearing those ever again."
Shortly after the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump confirmed reports that the agents searched through Melania’s bedroom and closets.
"Just learned that agents went through the First Lady’s closets and rummaged through her clothing and personal items. Surprisingly, left area in a relative mess," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Wow!"
Melania Trump’s friend noted that she is a "bigger germaphobe" than the former president, who Politico once described as "the most germ-conscious man to ever lead the free world."
"Most people don’t know that Melania is a bigger germaphobe than her husband. She hates people touching her and certainly doesn’t want to put on lingerie that FBI agents have had their hands all over," the friend added.

[FoxBusiness] A string of recent fires at Amazon fulfillment centers and other facilities forced the e-commerce giant to temporarily shut down rooftop solar panels that were blamed for the costly blazes. "They're Chinese crap. We bought em on Amaz....err...the internet"
"Out of an abundance of caution, following a small number of isolated incidents with onsite solar systems owned and operated by third parties, Amazon proactively powered off our onsite solar installations in North America, and took immediate steps to re-inspect each installation by a leading solar technical expert firm," an Amazon spokesperson told Fox Business on Sunday.
According to internal documents obtained by CNBC, which originally reported the news, Amazon experienced "critical fire or arc flash events" at six sites in North America with solar installations, representing about 12.7% of all applicable facilities.
"The rate of dangerous incidents is unacceptable, and above industry averages," an Amazon employee wrote in an internal report, according to CNBC.
Unless something has changed from things I’ve heard from people who worked at/considered working at Amazon warehouses, safety is not yet a concern for Amazon’s management. They’re still in start-up mode after all these years.
One such fire broke out at an Amazon warehouse in Perryville, Maryland, in June 2021 and caused $500,000 worth of damages. An investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshall determined that the cause was "accidental" and involved "an unspecified event involving the solar panel system."
Amazon touted itself as the "world’s largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy" in last year's sustainability report that laid out its goal to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2040.
The company had installed solar systems at 176 facilities worldwide as of April.
"We procure new renewable energy through contracts for utility-scale wind and solar, on-site rooftop solar installations, and green tariffs with local utilities that deliver new, renewable energy to the grids where we operate," the company wrote in the 2021 sustainability report.
Amazon said that its solar installations will come back online after inspections are completed.
"Amazon also built a team of dedicated solar experts overseeing the construction, operations, and maintenance of our systems in-house to ensure the safety of our systems," the spokesperson said Sunday.
Amazon's operations are already powered by 85% renewable energy and the company has set a goal of 100% by 2025.
