Gowdy: If POTUS Collusion Evidence Existed, Adam Schiff Would Have Leaked it
[Daily Caller] South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy said Sunday that, after 18 months of congressional investigation into possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government, he has yet to see a "scintilla" of evidence showing that there was coordination between the two sides.

The Republican also said it is unlikely that any Democrat has seen evidence of collusion because if they had, California Rep. Adam Schiff would have already leaked it.

"I have not seen one scintilla of evidence that this president colluded, conspired, confederated with Russia, and neither has anyone else, or you may rest assured Adam Schiff would have leaked it," Gowdy said during an interview on "Fox News Sunday."

"That’s why they’ve moved off of collusion onto obstruction of justice, which is now their current preoccupation," he added.

Gowdy, who is a member of the House Intelligence Committee and chairman of the Committee on House Oversight & Government Reform, said he has likely seen more government documents related to the collusion investigation than anyone in Congress.

-Short Attention Span Theater-
How Finding Love In D.C. May Be Impossible For Young Trump And GOP Staffers
[Hot Air] One 29-year-old lobbyist told Fox News that learning to date in a Trump world is "absolutely insane."

"It’s getting so bad," the lobbyist, who asked to remain anonymous because she works with the administration, said.

She, like several people Fox News spoke to, says they’re often raked over hot coals by prospective dates online or simply denied when someone finds out they work ‐ or even voted ‐ for President Trump.

Another person who works for the Trump administration said she has endured insults for simply posing with the American flag.

#5  As one of the barely four thousand DC residents who voted for DJT, I can speak with experience that anti-Trump hysteria in town is as bad, if not worse, then recent media reports suggest.

Thank God I met my wife during the 0bama administration. If I were still single, I’d probably have left the District by now.

As an aside, I have harbored fantasies of executing a covert guerilla campaign of pro-Trump sticker and graffiti posting in my neighborhood to push back on all the anti-Trump hysteria— you see “FUCK TRUMP” graffiti EVERYWHERE— and drive all these progressive snowflakes just a little more crazy, if that’s even possible at this point.

I think it would be fun. Does that mean there’s something wrong with me?

Arabia
Houthi disarmament prerequisite for ending war in Yemen
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] There can be no solution to the war in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic...
unless the Houthis agree to give up their weapons.

I do not think one can find a single Saudi who would accept Houthis (Iran’s agents in Yemen) to keep their armaments, particularly their medium and heavy weapons. If these weapons continue to be in Yemen, it would mean that Iran will form proxy religious parties, like Hezbollah in Leb.

The Trump/Putin Summit Is the Worst Thing Ever...Until the Next Worst Thing Ever
[Townhall] Here’s a secret everyone knows: this Trump/Russia/Treason thing is nonsense. The Russians will do whatever they can to destabilize our country, and have been trying since long before Teddy Kennedy actually did collude with the Reds against Ronald Reagan. Of course they want to destabilize us. They’re Russians. But now we are getting a ration of insanity about it from a bunch of people who only discovered that Ivan is bad news about the same time Stumbles McMyTurn lost. When they are yelling that Donald Trump’s press conference was (Pearl Harbor + 9/11) x 1,000,000, forget about raising any legit grievances with Trump’s performance. We’re not playing their game.

Why So Hysterical?
[Anti-IdiotarianRottweiler] In which His Imperial Majesty allows himself the luxury of engaging in wild speculation, so no need to point it out. We know.

You surely know the old saying: "If you’re catching flak, you’re over the target".

So one thing that we’ve been scratching our head about for the past couple of days in the precious few moments that we have time for such things is "why the hitherto unprecedented amounts of flak and hysteria over the Helsinki meeting and press conference?"

We don’t know and, unlike all of the self-appointed geniuses of the world, we’re not afraid to admit that we don’t know, but that never stopped our hyperactive mind from wandering whither it wants to go in the past.

And it’s not just the quite honestly pathetic hysteria post-meeting. One thing that caught our attention was the silly ham sandwich indictments of last Friday. "Russian spies spy, news at 11, clear the headline!"

...What about the mass hysteria after President Trump refused to take the bait and nullify anything that might have been achieved during the talks by calling President Putin a big, filthy, lying liar that lies in front of the world?

Sure, part of it was just the usual freak show whenever the President says or does anything. He could come out with a cure for cancer tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow the Lugenpresse would be in a frothing meltdown over the career prospects of oncologists everywhere.

But we think that most people would agree that it was a bit more hysterical than usual, hard though as that would have been to imagine a mere week ago.

Why? What are they worried about? They acted as if he’d just handed over the nuclear codes to President Putin and agreed to an unconditional surrender of the United States when, in matter of fact, the only thing he did was to, for once, act like a diplomat and not publicly insult his negotiating partner.

That’s what got us thinking and, more likely than not, send our mind off on a walkabout. Pure speculation, that is.

Just what, exactly, might the two of them have talked about?

To be sure, the allegations of Russian spying are undoubtedly true. Everybody spies on everybody, it’s what nations do, it’s just that some nations are better at it than others. It doesn’t excuse the spying and it most definitely doesn’t mean that it’s NOT a top priority for us to counter all that spying in any way we can, but it is hardly news. But that also means that the Russians undoubtedly know a great number of things going on in this country that certain parties in this country would rather not that anybody find out about.

Some cucks and Prozis (but we repeat ourself) asked "what does Putin have on Trump?"

The more relevant question might be: "What does Putin have on the Prozis and their pals, and did he share it with Trump?"

Then everything starts making more sense.

But that’s all speculation. We may never know, or maybe we will one day but we’ll never know where it came from, or maybe it’s all just much ado about nothing. That’s entirely possible.

But it does make you think, doesn’t it?

Column One: Who is betraying America?
[Jpost] Did US President Donald Trump commit treason in Helsinki when he met Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin? Should he be impeached?

That is what his opponents claim.

...Trump is being condemned for adopting a conciliatory tone towards Putin while employing a combative tone towards the Europeans and particularly Germany at the NATO summit. This criticism ignores how Trump operates in the international arena.

Trump views his exchanges with foreign leaders as separate engagements. He has goals he wishes to advance with China; with North Korea; with Russia; with Canada; with Mexico; with Europe; with Britain; with US Arab allies. In each separate engagement, Trump employs a combination of carrots and sticks. In each engagement he adopts a distinct manner that he believes advances his goals.

So far, unlike Obama’s foreign policy by this point in his presidency, none of Trump’s exchanges have brought disaster on America or its allies. To the contrary, America and its allies have much greater strategic maneuver room across a wide spectrum of threats and join adversaries than they had when Obama left office.

Trump’s opponents’ obsession with bringing him down has caused great harm to his presidency and to America’s position worldwide. It is a testament to Trump’s commitment to the US and its allies that he met with Putin this week. And the success of their meeting is something that all who care about global security and preventing a devastating war in the Middle East should be grateful for.

Dear God, Please Let This Daft Bint Get Elected!
h/t Instapundit
[VictoryGirlsBlog] I want Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to win a Congressional seat. I really do want the drooling, fascist-loving, socialist ass monkeys in New York’s 14th district to choose this derpy, ignorant, screeching harpy to represent them in Congress. Yes, you read that correctly. I am THRILLED that she won the Democratic primary in that district!

...If she loses to a Republican in that district, any Republican that gets elected there will be a left-socialist bunghole with a perfunctory "R" behind his or her name. You can’t win in that district without being at least a borderline proglodyte.

...Run, Alexandria, run! I prefer we have an unhinged, ignorant proglodyte in Congress than a lying "Republican," who would betray conservative ideals at the drop of a hat.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
The 'nuts and bolts' of Iran's economic troubles
A taste.
[Ynet] Recent protests in the Islamic Republic are reminiscent of the economic unrest that led to the Iranian Revolution and the rise of the ayatollahs; with the Iranian public critical of moderates and hardliners alike, the leadership in Tehran is worried.

As Iran decides the pathway forward after US President Donald Trump pulled out of the 2015 nuclear deal in May, economic pressures are beginning to weigh on the Islamic Republic.

In the last few weeks, Iran's currency has been tanking rapidly against the dollar. Reports said it sank between 79,000 and 90,000 rials to the US dollar on the country's unofficial market, according to the foreign exchange website Bonbast. At the end of last year, it stood at 42,890 to the dollar.

Furthermore, there has been a flare up of protests over economic concerns throughout the country. Vendors in Tehran's central market staged a series of protests last week. They were upset about the rial's collapse, which is causing havoc for businesses as the price of imports rises.

In the last few days, protests erupted around the southern city of Khorramshahr over a shortage of clean water. The problem has been exacerbated in the summer when temperatures in the southern region can reach up to 43 degrees Celsius (110 Fahrenheit). The protests were initially peaceful but became violent when police and protesters clashed.

Last month, protesters in Tehran shouted surprising slogans as they decried the country's economic malaise. Videos posted to social media showed them chanting: "Death to Palestine," "No to Gaza, no to Lebanon," and "Leave Syria and think of us." Others chanted "We don't want the ayatollahs."

The unrest seems to have rattled the leadership. President Hassan Rouhani called on the nation to "remain calm" and united in the face of the economic pressure. The country's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also addressed the Iranian public, urging the government "to confront those who disrupt economic security."

Rebellion of a rich country’s poor
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] The war on terror has ended in Iraq and levers of power now rest in the hands of Shiite parties with varying degrees of links with Iran. Who is responsible for this failure? Who is the corrupt? Which party is depriving Iraqi people of their national wealth? The country of Tigris and Euphrates is thirsty!

The country with the third largest oil reserves in the world is staggering without electricity. The country claiming "victory over ISIS" is controlled by militias of the Popular Mobilization Forces which are no less sectarian than ISIS! The country of free elections is experiencing the biggest electoral fraud!

Today, the deteriorating situation has been worsened by a new element. The protests have revealed a bitter truth. The Najaf Airport which protesters stormed and closed is managed by the militias of five parties including the ruling Dawa party. In this sense, the news from Iraq is more surprising than news emanating from some of the "banana republics" in Central America.

Terror Networks
The Muslim Brotherhood controversy in the West
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] In some Western countries, especially in the US and Britannia, there is controversy over classifying the Moslem Brüderbund as a terrorist organization. This debate should be followed up on and there must be work to develop it and to provide important information about it to everyone who participates in decision-making in the US and Britannia.

The world should know that the war against terrorism will not end unless the Moslem Brüderbund is declared a terrorist organization. In fact, the Moslem Brüderbund is the main source of terrorism, the mother of all terror groups and organizations. It is the origin of all the branches of the modern terrorism that falsely associate themselves with Islam. If the Moslem Brüderbund is not classified as a terrorist organization, it will continue to produce more terrorism.

The Holy Land Trial documents should have removed all doubt about the intent of the Muslim Bros to infiltrate and take over the U.S. and yet we ended up with an administration who was very sympathetic to their cause in high places. The MB strategy paper from 1991 outlined their intent and plans. Holy Land Documents.

The Yemeni writer Hassan al-Zaidi in writing on the Ikhwan has noted that, "Every movement has its favorite Banna quote," and Yemen is no different. He noted the elements that appealed to the Yemeni Ikhwan: "a Salafi identity, a Sunni movement, a Sufi fact, a diplomatic structure, sport groups, scientific and cultural leagues, an economic legacy, and a social vision." Sururists and the rumor-mongers
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Trending on the radical literature these days is a long book, written by one of the symbols of Sururism in Soddy Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face...
and the region and entitled ’Moslems and the Western Civilization.’ When contemplating on its long and detailed content, one notices it did not move an inch from the Sururist rhetoric which peaked in the 1980s and 1990s.

This rhetoric has exploited preaching platforms to formulate a discourse that blends religious propagation with insinuations of political opposition. The issues tackled had similar headlines pertaining to "Christianization, the collapse of nation-states, the infidelity of governments, the dependence on the West, hostility towards the United States, the Paleostinian cause, etc." All of these matters were being raised and addressed in an Death Eater and radical way in complete disregard of the truth and the prevailing circumstances. The Qutbist approach has played an important role in sustaining such discourse and has added literary and emotional elements to enrage young minds and mobilize them to carry out any activity, including militancy.
