From Rep. Dan Meuser (R-PA) who was in the front row at the rally near Trump with Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) and Pennsylvania GOP Senate Candidate Dave McCormick at the rally.
Meuser says he heard 8-10 shots. Says it appears mulitple people in the crowd may have been hit and were…
According to him, they tried pointing him out to the police and they did nothing and the Secret Service stared at them but did nothing til AFTER the guy fired.
Trump should hire Blackwater to beef up his security.

JUST IN: A guy outside the rally saw the shooter crawling on a roof and attempted to warn police and the Secret Service.
"We noticed a guy bear crawling on the roof with a rifle."
"I'm standing there pointing at him for two to three minutes, and the Secret Service is looking at us."
"Next thing you know, five shots rang out."
"Secret Service blew his head off."
"They crawled up on the roof and made sure he was dead."
Someone lost his life. Donald Trump survived, but the assassination attempt had more than one victim. This is no longer just an attempt. pic.twitter.com/QEvcSHxOF3

NEW FROM PA STATE POLICE SOURCES: President Trump was not struck by a bullet, but hit by glass fragments believed to have come from the shattered teleprompter from the gunfire. They were real bullets. They hit at least 2 people behind or near the stage and possibly more.

Yeah, that just seems, wrong. Even if the Secret service couldn't do it, they should have had state police on that roof and others. The fact people were pointing at the guy for MINUTES and nothing was done also raises some serious questions.

Once upon a time in mid 1960's, in Austin TX, I attended a speech given in a wide open venue similar to that in Butler PA today. Speaker was President Johnson. It was mid afternoon. There were multiple buildings with flat roofs in the vicinity. I scanned them all and could easily make out men standing on every roof, spaced a few dozen feet apart. I wonder how the perp was able to get to a convenient firing position without being challenged.
[Townhall] UPDATE: The Secret Service says President Donald Trump is safe. The Trump campaign says he has been checked in at a local medical facility for assessment.
Former Ambassador Kip Tom, who was in the front row at the rally, tells Townhall shots came from different directions and that he believes there were two shooters. He also witness others injured from the shots.

***Original post***
Speaking during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday evening, President Donald Trump was injured after a series of "pops." He fell to the ground after opening remarks and then got up -- raising his first. He was bleeding from the right side of his head and was taken away by Secret Service. Witnesses. Reporters say there were multiple shots.
When he stood back up, Trump said while pumping his first, "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" He was then taken away by Secret Service and was walking on his own. According to the footage, additional shots were fired when he stood back up.
It was only a matter of time with Biden, the DNC, and media deliberately stirring up hatred for him that someone would take a shot it 'saving democracy'...

[SUDANTRIBUNE] A drone attack targeted the Gedaref state government headquarters on Thursday during a public gathering held in support of the Sudan ...a Moslem country located in the Horn of Africa. South Sudan, populated mostly by the natives, split off from Sudan proper, which left North and South Darfur to be oppressed by the guys with turbans... ese Armed Forces (SAF), who are currently engaged in conflict with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Two civilians were maimed in the attack, and authorities swiftly apprehended a suspect.
This drone attack is the second of its kind in Gedaref city. On April 9th, similar attacks struck the General Intelligence Service headquarters and other government buildings.
Military sources informed "Sudan Tribune" that two suicide drones attempted to target the event, attended by the state governor, security officials, and prominent community members, which aimed to bolster public support for the SAF’s war efforts and state security measures.
Preliminary investigations suggest the drones originated from the "Um Sharaba" area in Central Gedaref and flew over "Ad Al Tin" before targeting the government secretariat. The drones missed their intended target, with one crashing near a women’s and maternity hospital and the other in the Al Sadaqa neighbourhood, causing injuries to two civilians.
The Gedaref government expressed deep sorrow for the civilian casualties and condemned the RSF for the attacks, accusing them of undermining the safety and security of the region.
The government emphasized that the gathering aimed to unite the community in support of the armed forces, bolster their capabilities, and mobilize local resistance to safeguard the state.
Gedaref remains vulnerable to RSF incursions due to its proximity to the Al Jazirah and Sennar states, where the RSF has a presence. In response, authorities have heightened security measures, activated local resistance groups, and are preparing for potential emergencies.

Gunmen, suspected to be kidnappers, have kidnapped three staff members including the acting Rector of the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo, Dr. Emmanuel Barki.
According to a report, Barki, two other management staff of the institution and their driver were kidnapped on their way to Ugbokolo after an official assignment in Makurdi, the state capital, on Thursday.
It was gathered that the abductors kidnapped them along the Otukpo/Otukpa Road.
However,
some men learn by reading. A few learn by observation. The rest have to pee on the electric fence for themselves... one of the victims was released due to ill health.
A source close to the rector’s family who did not want to be mentioned as he was unauthorised to speak on the matter, told PUNCH that the kidnappers made contact with the family and demanded a N70million ransom.
The immediate past Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Benue State chapter, Augustine Leva visited the family of the acting rector on Friday as he prayed for the immediate release of the victims.
The former CAN chairman called on the state government to improve the security situation of the state so that residents of the state can heave a sigh of relief.
The front man for the state police command, Catherine Anene confirmed the abduction of the rector and two others and said that investigation was ongoing.
"Incident confirmed and investigation is ongoing," Anene said in a terse statement.
Also confirming the kidnap, the Security Adviser to the state governor, Joseph Har said he was not aware of any ransom demand.
Har said, "The incident happened but I’m not aware they demanded ransom but coppers are combining the bushes to rescue them."
In late May 2024, two female students of the Joseph Sarwuan University of Agriculture, Makurdi, were kidnapped by button men, as confirmed by the state police command.
[KavkazUzel] The Maykop City Court has arrested a native of Tajikistan, Idris Idibekov, for two months in connection with the case of preparing an attack on a church.
Yesterday he was described merely as from one of the countries of the Central Asian region, today we have a name and nation.
As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", a native of one of the Central Asian countries was preparing an attack on an Orthodox church in Maikop and the murder of clergy and security guards. An incendiary mixture and a flag of a terrorist organization were confiscated from the detainee, the FSB reported. In a video recording published by the agency, during interrogation, he said that, having watched videos of supporters of the "Islamic State"*, he planned to stab a security guard and set the building on fire.
Yesterday we guessed that. Today it is confirmed.
The Maykop City Court has arrested Idris Idibekov, a native of Tajikistan, accused of attempting a terrorist attack on the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Maykop, Interfax reported today.
"To assign Idibekov a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months, until September 10, 2024 inclusive," the agency quoted the judge as saying.
The judge emphasized that the accused, a native of Dushanbe, has dual citizenship - Russian and Tajik.
As the "Caucasian Knot" reported, on June 23, Trinity Day, which is one of the main Christian holidays, militants attacked synagogues and an Orthodox church in Derbent and Makhachkala. On June 23, the American Institute for the Study of War stated that the cell "Vilayat Kavkaz"*, a division of the "Islamic State"*, was behind the attacks.

[NY Post] A major Israeli airstrike in Gaza Saturday targeted the Hamas commander considered the mastermind of the horrific Oct. 7 attacks that left 1,200 Israelis dead and triggered the war.
Israel Defense Forces shot rockets at a fenced-off compound where Muhammad Deif, the commander of Hamas’s military wing, and Rafa’a Salameh, the commander of Hamas’s Khan Younis Brigade, were holed up, according to multiple reports.
The military was still waiting for intelligence to confirm whether Dief, leader of the group’s notorious Qassam Brigades, and Salameh were killed in the strike. The Saudi news channel al-Hadath reported that Dief was seriously injured and Salameh was killed, according to the Times of Israel, but their fates were not yet officially determined.
Dief is widely viewed as Hamas’ second-in-command in Gaza behind the supreme terror boss Yahya Sinwar. Long sought by the Israeli military, his death could derail cease-fire talks, but would also be seen as a major victory for Israel.
Witnesses said the strike landed inside an Israeli-designated safe zone that stretches from northern Rafah to Khan Younis. The IDF said the building the strike targeted is in a civilian area but was not part of a camp for displaced Palestinians. The IDF, which released before-and-after images of the site that showed a fenced-off area, said no Israeli hostages were held at the location.
"The area that was struck is an open and forested area, with several buildings and sheds," the military said. The images show before and after the strike.
In a statement, Hamas denied that Deif had been targeted in the strike. "No, no. He is alive and well. Sunbathing on the beach!"
Unverified reports from the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza said at least 71 Palestinians were killed and 289 injured in the strike. Hamas figures do not distinguish between civilian and terrorist casualties and the group is known to hide high value targets in densely populated areas.
"Israel targeted October 7 mastermind Muhammed Deif, head of the Hamas military wing," said Eylon Levy, a former government spokesman on X Saturday. "If he was hiding among civilians in a makeshift camp, that shows how determined Hamas is to use civilians as human shields and sacrifices."
Videos circulating on X showed Israelis breaking into celebration when news of the strike was announced.
Long before the current war, Deif was wanted by the Israeli military and became infamous for his ability to elude capture or assassination. In December, Israel placed a $100,000 bounty on his head, the Times of Israel reported.
The strike comes as U.S., Egyptian and Qatari mediators continue to work to narrow the distance between Israel and Hamas over a proposed deal for a three-phase cease-fire and hostage release plan in Gaza.

…none of whom are Israeli, or the article would have said so.
The question of whether Israeli forces stay on the border is one of the issues blocking a potential ceasefire deal because both group Hamas and Egypt, a mediator in the talks, are opposed to Israel keeping its forces there.
Israel is worried that if its troops leave the border zone, referred to by Israel as the Philadelphi corridor, Hamas's armed wing could smuggle in weapons and supplies from Egypt into Gaza via tunnels that would allow it to re-arm and again threaten Israel.

...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response... City, the Israel Defense Forces announced on Friday, as troops raided an UNRWA facility in the area that the army said was used by the terror group as a command center.
According to the IDF, Shweidah had carried out numerous attacks on troops in Gaza, and was involved in planning in executing the October 7 onslaught, when thousands of Hamas-led murderous Moslems stormed southern Israel to kill nearly 1,200 people and take 251 hostages, sparking the war in Gaza.
One of the Shejaiya Battalion’s company commanders, Ubadah Abu Hain, was also killed in the strike, the IDF said, describing him as a seasoned and prominent commander who had taken a significant part in the fighting.
Meanwhile,
...back at the cheese factory, all the pieces finally fell together in Fluffy's mind... several rockets were fired on Friday from northern Gaza’s Beit Hanoun at the Lachish Regional Council area in southern Israel yesterday, setting off sirens in the town of Nir Israel, near Ashkelon.
The IDF said the rockets struck open areas, and in response, airstrikes were carried out against sites belonging to terror groups in the area of the launch.
Paleostinian media reported that an airstrike on central Gaza’s Nuseirat killed at least three people. Another airstrike on Khan Younis, in the Strip’s south, was said to have killed four aid workers.
Elsewhere in the Strip’s south, the IDF said soldiers with the 162nd Division had killed numerous button men in Rafah in festivities and by calling in airstrikes.
Troops from the IDF’s Commando Brigade have located weapons and a command room used by Hamas at UNRWA’s headquarters in Gaza City, the army said on Friday.
The troops had raided the compound earlier this week as part of a new operation carried out by the 99th Division in western and southern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
The UNRWA headquarters had not been in use in recent months. The IDF raided the compound earlier this year, discovering a major Hamas tunnel network that passed beneath it.
In the latest operation, the IDF said the commandos captured Hamas operatives who attempted to flee the UNRWA headquarters.
The commandos also battled with cells of button men who were holed up inside the facility, the army said.
Inside, the army said that Commando Brigade troops found a command room used to observe Israeli forces.
The troops were also said to find parts of a Hamas drone as well as dozens of weapons, including rockets, machine guns, mortars, bombs, grenades and bomb-dropping drones.
Israel has long accused UNRWA, the United Nations ...aka the Oyster Bay Chowder and Marching Society... agency for Paleostinian refugees, of funneling money into Hamas’s coffers and letting the terror group use the agency’s facilities.
Israel has also accused the aid agency of employing people who are active members of Hamas and other Gaza-based terror groups. On Thursday, it was reported that Jerusalem had sent UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini a letter listing 108 employees of the agency who Israel says are Hamas or Paleostinian Islamic Jihad ...created after many members of the Egyptian Moslem Brotherhood decided the organization was becoming too moderate. Operations were conducted out of Egypt until 1981 when the group was exiled after the assassination of President Anwar Sadat. They worked out of Gaza until they were exiled to Lebanon in 1987, where they clove tightly to Hezbollah. In 1989 they moved to Damascus, where they remain a subsidiary of Hezbollah... operatives, demanding that they immediately be fired.
Previous Israeli allegations that UNRWA was employing murderous Moslems led several countries to defund the agency. However,
the difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits... the allegations have not been independently corroborated.
At a university building near the UNRWA headquarters, commandos located several weapons and an underground bomb-making lab, the army said on Friday.
Elsewhere in Gaza City, the IDF said troops with the 99th Division also located lathes used to manufacture weapons, along with cash belonging to terror groups. The troops also killed several button men, the army said.
The Gaza City raids came as the 98th Division on Wednesday wrapped up a two-week raid in the city’s eastern neighborhood of Shejaiya. The IDF said Hamas had regrouped in the neighborhood after previous offensives there.
During the operation, troops killed more than 150 terror operatives and demolished eight tunnels, the army said.
Israel had warned virtually all of Gaza City that it was now a "dangerous" combat zone.
The Hamas-run Gaza civil defense agency said on Friday that some 85% of Shejaiya’s buildings were destroyed in the latest operation there.
The agency said that it had recovered at least 100 bodies amid the rubble in Gaza City over the past week, as Israel has been withdrawing.
"There are bodies scattered in the streets, dismembered bodies, there are bodies of entire families, there are also bodies inside a home of an entire family that was completely burned," spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said on Friday in comments carried by Hamas media.
The terror group’s figures cannot be confirmed and do not differentiate between civilians and combatants.
Meanwhile,
...back at the cheese factory, all the pieces finally fell together in Fluffy's mind... in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, Hamas media said four people working for the al-Khair Foundation, a Moslem non-profit based in Britannia and The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... , were killed in an airstrike at an aid distribution center.
Hours later, the IDF named one of those killed in the strike as Hossam Mansour, who it said was a head of a department in Hamas’s internal security forces in the Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, Mansour "took a significant and continuous part in the preservation and presence of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip, while undermining Israel’s efforts in the region," and also served in the terror group’s military wing.
Mansour was a director of al-Khair, which the IDF charged transferred funds to terror groups in Gaza "under the guise of humanitarian activity."

[Breitbart] The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered a command center this week used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists within the Gaza City headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
Israel has long insisted that UNRWA supports terrorism in general, and maintains that several UNRWA employees participated directly in the October 7 terror attack. Terrorists have repeatedly used UNRWA facilities to launch attacks and store weapons.
The IDF said in a statement:
Following intelligence indicating that Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists and infrastructure were embedded inside the UNRWA Headquarters in Gaza City, IDF troops began a counterterrorism operation in the area earlier this week. At the start of the operation, the IDF opened a defined corridor to enable civilians to evacuate from the area.
During the operation, the Commando Brigade Combat Team under the command of the 99th Division conducted a targeted raid on a Hamas combat complex embedded inside a compound previously used by UNRWA. With the guidance of the Intelligence Directorate (J2), Maglan and Egoz special forces raided the compound and apprehended terrorists who tried to escape from the area.
During the activity, the troops engaged in close-quarters combat with terrorist cells that had fortified themselves inside the UNRWA compound and located parts for assembling a UAV, war rooms used for surveillance operations and large quantities of weapons, including tactical drones, rockets, machine guns, mortars, explosives and grenades.
Next to the terror compound raided by the troops, the IDF previously exposed and operated against an underground tunnel route and significant asset of Hamas’ military intelligence that passed under the building that served as UNRWA’s Headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
In additional scans carried out by the troops during the current operations in the area, the troops located an underground laboratory for the manufacturing of explosives and weapons inside a university building.
In February, the IDF revealed that it had found a Hamas command center underneath Shifa Hospital. Several countries suspended funding for UNRWA after reports emerged of UNRWA participating in the October 7 attack; but several have since restored it. Funding from the U.S. for UNRWA remains on hold; President Joe Biden initially restored $700 million in funding to UNRWA that had been cut by President Donald Trump out of terror concerns.

[Regnum] The unmanned lethal MQ-9 Reaper of the so-called international coalition led by the United States flew dangerously close to the Su-35 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Syrian airspace, the deputy head of the Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides (CROS) in Syria, Captain First Rank Oleg Ignasyuk, told journalists on July 12.
It happened in the skies over the province of Homs. The Russian fighter was carrying out a scheduled flight.
“In the area of the settlement of Es-Sukhna in the province of Homs, a dangerous approach occurred between an MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle of the “coalition” and a Su-35 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, which was carrying out a scheduled flight in the airspace of Syria,” Ignasyuk said during a briefing.
According to the deputy head of the Center for the Prevention of Cruelty to the Air and Space Industry, the pilot of the Russian combat aircraft demonstrated high professionalism and promptly took all necessary measures to prevent a collision with the UAV.
Ignasyuk also reported that in the Et-Tanf area, observers identified 12 violations over the past 24 hours, committed by a pair of F-15 fighters, a pair of Rafale fighters, two pairs of Typhoon fighters and two pairs of A-10 attack aircraft of the Western "coalition". The Center for the Prevention and Control of Violence emphasized that such actions continue to create risks of aviation accidents.
As reported by the Regnum news agency, incidents involving approaching "coalition" drones have already occurred in Syria. On June 21, it became known that in the province of Homs, a pilot of a Russian Aerospace Forces Su-35 fighter was able to prevent a collision with three MQ-9 Reapers. On June 26, a "coalition" MQ-9 Reaper drone flew dangerously close to a Russian Su-34 fighter, which was making a scheduled flight.
On July 4, the Center for Strategic and Inter-Aircraft Monitoring reported that in the skies over Homs province, a Typhoon fighter jet from the coalition and an An-30 aircraft from the Russian Armed Forces almost collided due to a dangerous approach.

Jeebus. I been offline for 4 days, come back and they're still jabbering about this. The drone is like a big bird, the aircraft has to maneuver around it. The drone doesn't 'know' that the plane is there.

"So, there I sat, flogging my Flanker,
When, suddenly... bugger! I bank 'er
And barely escape
An attack -- nay, a rape! --
By three drones, two balloons, Yankee tanker.
Not to mention spy bustard."
