[Federalist] A Florida woman who had become a recognizable voice in the Black Lives Matter movement has been murdered, according to Tallahassee police. Oluwatoyin Salau, known to friends as "Toyin," went missing over a week ago after a series of mysterious posts on social media.
The 19-year-old woman reported via her Twitter account on June 6 that she had been sexually assaulted by a man who had helped her by providing transportation. Salau said in her post that she had been sheltering at a church in Tallahassee and an individual "disguised as a man of God" offered to give her a ride in his truck.
After graphically describing the sexual assault by the man whom she had entrusted, Salau went silent. Questions posted to her Twitter account poured in, with followers attempting to confirm that the activist had reached safety. Inquiries about her well-being and offers of assistance went unanswered until friends of Salau said she had been missing since the time of her last report on her assault.
Sadly, the search for Salau concluded in tragedy when her body was found along with another woman's on Saturday. Tallahassee police confirmed Salau's identity and announced the other body was that of Victoria Sims, 75. Police said the bodies were found by law enforcement who were following up on a missing persons investigation.
Both deaths are being investigated as homicides, police said, and a suspect, 49-year-old Aaron Glee Jr., is already in custody. Sims was not reported missing until the day before her body was found, though police had been searching for Salau for an entire week. Her disappearance was widely shared on social media and a GoFundMe account had raised nearly $10,000 to assist in the search.
Sims was a longtime volunteer for the American Association of Retired Persons and an active political supporter of Democrats running for office. Her family has not yet commented publicly on her death and it is not known if Sims and Salau were acquainted with one another prior to their deaths.

Pity she didn't promptly report the sexual assault to the racist police oppressors. She, and Mrs. Sims, would most likely be alive now and Glee in jail. So many ways this BLM racial power grab is biting them back in the ass.
[UPI] The Justice Department on Tuesday charged two men in a drive-by shooting at a federal building in Oakland that killed one security guard and injured another.
Accused gunman Steven Carrillo was charged with one count of murder of a person assisting an officer or employee of the U.S. government and one count of murder under the same statute. Robert Alvin Justus Jr., who is accused of driving the vehicle from which Carrillo fired at the guards, was charged with aiding and abetting murder, and attempted murder.
The charges stem from a May 29 incident in which Carrillo allegedly fired at guards protecting the federal building in Oakland from a white Ford Econoline-style van driven by Justus, killing protective security officer David Patrick Underwood and injuring his partner.
Following an eight-day manhunt, witnesses reported an abandoned van in Ben Lomond, Calif., that allegedly contained ammunition, firearms and bomb-making equipment. Efforts were also apparently made to alter the van's appearance.
Evidence from the van led Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office deputies to Carillo's residence in Ben Lomond where he allegedly opened fire on deputies.
Sgt. Damon Gutzwiller died after sustaining injuries in the shooting and a second deputy was injured but survived. An explosion also took place at the scene.
Authorities apprehended Carrillo after he attempted to flee the scene on foot and later in a stolen vehicle.
A search of Carrillo's residence produced further evidence including an AR-15-style short-barreled rifle and cellphone records that identified Justus as the person with whom he may have been coordinating the attack on the federal building.
Justus was arrested on June 11 after traveling to the federal building to meet with the FBI when they placed him under surveillance.
Carrillo faces a potential death sentence ...the barbaric practice of sentencing a murderer to be punished for as long as his/her/its victim is dead... if convicted of the murder charge and a maximum of 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine for the attempted murder charge. He also faces murder charges and additional felony counts for the shooting that killed Gutzwiller.

^ Suitably enstrengthened by both of you, and surer of my unspurnability, I went to the bedroom, where her majesty lay asleep. I thought I'll just stroke her hair or something, but it being 4 in the morning, I thought better of it.
I even thought I'll try to get a "Woman ! How can you not ?" between the slaps I'd get. ☺
[GatewayPundit] Seattle rioter "CHAZet" or "CHOPet" was seen wearing an orange peel as a face mask. The unhinged Christaphobic woman seemed to be angered by a street preacher and gave her the middle finger.
After some impressive air kicks she dances up to the person recording her and punched him.
[4CBSLocal] It was the night of May 28th when the riots reached a crescendo in Minneapolis. This was the third precinct police station where a CNN reporter described the scene.
A Facebook post showed a man igniting and throwing a Molotov cocktail. Surveillance cameras from the police station recorded what appears to be the same man lighting other incendiary devices.
Pictures in arrest warrant affidavit allegedly show Dylan Robinson setting fire to Minneapolis precinct police station. Arrested in Breckenridge Colorado through GPS tracking. pic.twitter.com/wPvbLilnIh
In some pictures he is seen with another man in a hoodie. According to the arrest document a woman contacted the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms and identified Dylan Robinson of Brainerd Minnesota as the man in the white shirt with black stripes.
His cell phone was tracked to Breckenridge.
Whoops!
There he was arrested Sunday in the parking lot of a recreation center. Breckenridge police assisted the federal agents. An examination of Robinson’s phone revealed he had not only been at the Minneapolis police precinct on the night of the fire, but posted selfie pictures to Snapchat.
Truly, this man is an idiot of the first water.
During a court appearance on Tuesday, Robinson was asked if he understood the charges against him. He replied, “Yes, but…”
Federal Magistrate Reid Neureiter cut him off at that point and advised him to talk with his attorney. He is scheduled to be in court for a detention hearing on Friday.
WCCO reports the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms is offering a $70,000 reward for more information on other suspects involved in the arson.
A 22-year-old Minnesota man was charged on Tuesday with aiding and abetting the arson of a Minneapolis cop shoppe during protests over the death of a black man under a policeman's knee, federal prosecutors said.
Dylan Robinson, who was arrested in Breckenridge, Colorado on Sunday, is accused of hurling a Molotov cocktail inside the Third Precinct cop shoppe in Minneapolis and igniting a fire in the building's stairwell on May 28, according to the criminal complaint. Robinson is the second man arrested June 3 in connection to the blaze. Branden Wolfe, 23, was arrested in Minnesota and charged with one count of aiding and abetting arson, federal prosecutors said.
On June 10, a woman emailed the ATF and said the person in the photographs that authorities had sent out on the arson was Robinson.
Beware a woman scorned, though why any woman would want him is beyond me.
She explained Robinson was from the Brainerd area and she was familiar with him, the complaint stated. She requested anonymity and said Robinson removed pictures from his Facebook account. She said Robinson also posted he "also did AutoZone" and had posted videos on Snapchat.
Oh? How very interesting. And they already have his cell phone...
During the rioting on May 27, the AutoZone building across from the Minneapolis precinct was burned to the ground.
According to court records, Robinson is currently on probation in Crow Wing County for a fourth-degree possession of a phencyclidine/hallucinogen conviction.
Oh buddy, you are soooooo busted!
Robinson also has been convicted of petty misdemeanor and misdemeanor traffic and parking violations in Crow Wing, Ramsey and Hennepin counties.
In reference to Robinson’s current probation, his probation agent told Sherlocks he is supposed to text her every Wednesday to confirm his location and that he is attending drug treatment. The last time the agent spoke with Robinson was May 20.
Goodness, that's precisely a month ago. What happens when someone on probation misses that many check-ins, or lies to his probation officer?
During the conversion, Robinson asked the agent about the potential consequences if he stopped attending drug treatment and he wanted to move to Denver, the criminal complaint stated.
Oh good — he knows exactly what to expect from that end of things, though the time and accommodations for federal felonies may be a bit of a shock.

Mrs. Bobby was a county P.O. for ten years. One judge she worked for did the following for repeat violators:
1. Stern warning or two.
2. "I'm adding a red dot to your file, and if you come before me again, I'll revoke your probation!"
3. I'm adding a second red dot, so that's your last chance!
4. Next he crated the 'triple-red dot club' and she retired before he got beyond that.
He was re-elected several times, until he retired.

Follow up to this story from yesterday. Much more about Mr. Baca and events leading up to and after the arrest.
[StamfordAdvocate] Protesters in Albuquerque, N.M., wrapped a chain around the neck of a bronze statue and began tugging and chanting, "Tear it down," shortly before sunset Monday. Their efforts to pull down a monument to Spanish conquistador Juan de Oñate suddenly stopped as four shots rang out.
Most people instinctively turned toward the noise, videos from the scene show. A few screamed. Just yards away, a group of men sporting quasi-military garb and carrying semiautomatic rifles formed a protective circle around the gunman.
The gunshots, which left one man in critical but stable condition, have caused a public outcry - both over the shooting itself and the presence of what many have called an unregulated militia. On Tuesday morning, the Albuquerque Police Department announced that detectives had arrested Steven Baca, 31, in the shooting.
Baca, who appeared to be protecting the statue and opened fire after people pursued and hit him, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and firearm enhancement, according to a criminal complaint.
The victim, Scott Williams, suffered gunshot wounds to the torso and immediately received aid from bystanders, according to the criminal complaint. Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller, a Democrat, said the statue would now be speedily removed as an "urgent matter of public safety" until authorities determine a next step.

Oh, the Hispanic community ain't going to take this crap. You live by identity politics, you perish by identity politics. New Mexico is in play for November.
You might be surprised. Some of them have been here for generations. They are not the illiterate peasants who sneak across the border and they are not MS-13. They are well established, hard working and family oriented. You might say they have some skin in the game and they don't want to lose it.

[FoxNews] The city of Seattle and protesters occupying the "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" have reached an agreement that will remove temporary roadblocks and replace them with concrete barriers, Fox News has been told.
The Seattle Department of Transportation is installing concrete barriers in the middle of Pine Street, running East and West, which will split the road for both pedestrian and vehicle traffic. This will allow for emergency service vehicles to pass through the area.
The agreement will reduce the area protesters previously called Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ, from about six or seven city blocks to just three. This is the first time in weeks traffic will be able to pass by the shuttered East Police Precinct.
Fox News has confirmed the agreement to replace the wooden barrier set in place by the protesters with concrete barriers with Seattle Fire Chief Harold Scoggins, the Seattle Department of Transportation and Seattle Public Utilities. The Seattle Police Department is not overseeing the concrete barrier being put in place.
The development comes after the Seattle City Council on Monday voted unanimously to ban police from using chokeholds, and crowd-control devices like tear gas and pepper spray.
A federal judge on Friday issued a temporary order banning Seattle police from using tear gas, pepper spray, and foam-tipped projectiles against protesters. The court found that the department had used less-lethal weapons “disproportionately and without provocation,” stifling free speech.

Block off the streets going in with trash. Instead of sending the garbage trucks to dump at the landfill, use them to block off the streets leading in. About 4 weeks and viola, they're no longer an issue.

Depends on where the 'other parts of the US' are as to the property owners' responses.

Do I have to put in a dollar if it turns out it wasn't the Bee after all?
[NYPOST] An auto-shop owner on the edge of Seattle’s cop-free CHAZ says police refused to help as an angry mob stormed his property — forcing his son to pull a gun to protect them, according to video and reports.
John McDermott told KIRO 7 News that he initially tried to detain a protester Sunday night who stole cash and set a fire in his Car Tender business on the edge of the so-called "Capital Hill Autonomous Zone."
His son, Mason McDermott, helped tackle the suspect who "tried to cut me with a box cutter," he told the station, showing large slits in his jeans close to his crotch.
Other protesters soon arrived — and video on social media shows the mob eventually knocking over a section of fencing, running in to confront the owners and angrily demand the return of the original suspect.
McDermott told the station he repeatedly dialed 911 for both police and fire crews. "All told 19 times," he said.
He was "heartbroken" when they "finally said that they weren’t going to send somebody," he said. "I mean, they are the cavalry," he told the station.
He said he eventually had to let the initial suspect go free to avoid "mayhem beyond mayhem" — and his son pulled a firearm to protect themselves from the mob, some of whom were also armed, they said.
"He’s just trying to protect his business," a local news hound said in a livestreamed video as he noted the gun during the attack. No shots appeared to have been fired.
Mason said the near-disaster was proof that the "mayor and governor need to get their act together" over the area.
"Nobody showed up when literally our lives are on the line," Mason said, stressing they still felt at risk from further attacks.
Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best said Monday that officers responded — but "observed the location from a distance."
"They did not see any signs of smoke or fire or anything else and they did not see a disturbance," so they didn’t go in, Best said, according to The Seattle Times.
Seattle Fire Chief Harold Scoggins said he was investigating why his crews did not respond.
He said the force needs police clearance to enter the CHAZ — also known as "CHOP," or Capitol Hill Organized Protest — but insisted the auto shop was in fact just outside of the restricted area.

The Seattle police is made up of limp-wristed people.
That's what they do best, wave their wrists in the air and fret that they might have to actually do something.
Forking wimps, just like their police chief.
The police where I live seems to be better, they're proactive in preventing riots from starting while allowing peaceful protests. But the moment a riot attempt to start, boom!
[WASHINGTONEXAMINER] The mayor of Richmond, Virginia, announced that he asked the city’s police chief to resign amid the ongoing protests
.
Mayor Levar Stoney said at a Tuesday news conference that Richmond Police Chief William Smith has resigned and that Maj. William "Jody" Blackwell is now the interim police chief, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Stoney called Smith "a good man" and said the now-former chief has "served this city with grace."
"But we are ready to move in a new direction," he added.
The shake-up comes after video emerged over the weekend, showing a police SUV driving through a crowd of demonstrators who blocked its path, although the police said that demonstrators had been attacking the vehicle. It is also two weeks since police controversially fired tear gas at protesters 20 minutes before a city curfew went into effect.

[Rudaw] Three Katyusha rockets landed close to Baghdad International Airport in the early hours of Tuesday morning, an official Iraqi military media source has announced — the third such incident at a site of international importance in the Iraqi capital in just eight days.
No casualties have been reported after the rockets hit "the vicinity of Baghdad Airport," according to a Tuesday morning statement from Iraqi Security Media Cell.
Iraqi security forces found "a wooden rocket launcher" loaded with unlaunched rockets in the nearby Makasib neighbourhood of Baghdad, the statement added.
The attack has not yet been claimed by any group, but the US has attributed past rocket attacks on sites of American or international importance to Iran-backed militias who it says are looking to further inflame US-Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. The airport hosts an American military base, as well as the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, a branch of the US embassy which has been subject to repeated rocket fire in recent years. Rockets have now landed in the airport's vicinity twice in the space of eight days, after a similar incident on June 8.
The US embassy in Baghdad's Green Zone has also been subject to two rocket attacks this past month, the most recent occurring on Thursday.
Iraqi army bases hosting US-led Coalition troops have also been the target of rocket attacks suspected to have been launched by Iran-backed militias.

No casualties as a result of the bombardment have yet been reported, according to the chieftain of the affected village of Alana.
"In the Ottoman Turkish airstrikes, the heights of Baraskan in the village of Alana were targeted, causing no human losses," chieftain Abdulla Hussein told Rudaw.
While the area has previously been subject to Iranian artillery shelling that targets Iranian Kurdish opposition groups nestled in the border area, Ottoman Turkish bombardment around Alana is unheard of, according to the district mayor of Haji Omaran.
"We suspect that the two sides are in coordination, because this is the first time that The Sick Man of Europe Turkey ...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire... has bombed this region," mayor Farzang Ahmed told Rudaw.
"This region is frequently and every year under Iran's shelling, on the grounds that they are targeting Kurdish opposition parties," Ahmed said.
Today's attacks come a day after Turkey announced the launch of Operation Claw-Eagle, targeting suspected Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) bases in Shingal in Nineveh province, and Makhmour, Qarachogh, Mount Qandil, Khuakurk, and Zap across the Kurdistan Region.
In Monday's air campaign, Turkey's defense ministry said they hit a total of 81 targets, including "shelters and caves".

The fact that Iraq makes no complaint after attacks on its territory demonstrates, if demonstrations are needed, that it is a failed state, a fallen humpty-dumpty

They do complain, from time to time. But it’s semi-independent Kurdish territory, so they don’t really care if the upstarts get punished a bit, since Baghdad can’t do anything about it anyway.

And no wonder. It’s a day that ends in -day. Really nothing to worry about, though, so long as the jets are headed toward the usual sites in Syria that blow up so prettily at night. But come the day they head on to Iran, that’s the day when things will become much more interesting.
