A psychology professor was charged with threatening people and hinting about bringing a submachine gun to campus. A psychologist was expected to evaluate Texas Christian University professor Charles Frederick Bond Jr., officials said Thursday. He was being held without bond.
The 53-year-old professor was arrested at his home June 1 and charged with making a terrorist threat, a misdemeanor punishable by up to 180 days in jail. In a news release, university officials said Bond has exhibited "extremely inappropriate conduct and made threatening remarks to some campus members."

Interesting...A psychology professor threatening to go postal.
#2
I knew some psychology students in my earlier life. Without exception, all of them signed up to resolve their internal issues. Seems that professer CF Bond was not entirely successful.
"I have interests in quantitative psychology and social psychology. My quantitative work has concerned statistical models for meta-analysis and interpersonal processes.
My social psychological research on deception has drawn interest from the FBI, the CIA, and the National Academy of Sciences."
some particulars
The arrest warrant affidavit said that Dr. Bond sent harassing e-mails to a large number of university employees. In e-mails sent May 26 and 27, he called Provost Nowell Donovan a "sexist pig."
Dr. Bond also made a statement that he would bring a gun to campus and spit in a colleague's face, the affidavit said.
The university already had a pending investigation on Dr. Bond and had asked him to cease communications with anyone at the school, the affidavit said.
When school officials requested Dr. Bond meet with Dr. Donovan and other school officials on May 31, he refused, the affidavit said.
On June 1, Dr. Bond sent another e-mail to employees: "Is it possible a sexist could snap and bring an uzi [sic] gun on the TCU campus? Might he target young women? Might others get in the way?"
When police contacted Dr. Bond's wife at her home, she said she believed her husband needed professional help, the affidavit said.

Cover up his left side of his face (port side) and you will see the face of evil. [not suitable for women, children, baby ducks, or other living things]

La Paz, Jun. 8, 2007 (CWNews.com) - Bolivia's President Evo Morales has suggested replacing the feast of Corpus Christi, which is a national holiday in that country, with a day officially dedicated to the sun god, Vatican Radio reports.
The Bolivian president, a Socialist who won national elections in December 2005, claims to be the first descendant of native Bolivians to lead the country since the days of the Spanish conquest. Morales identifies himself with his Indian ancestors, and says that he is a sun-worshipper.
Church leaders in Bolivia argue that Morales can make only a weak claim to historical precedents for a national holiday. Bishop Krzysztof Bialasik of Oruro reported: Bolivians from the eastern part of the country told me that historically, there has never been observance of a day dedicated to the sun god.
