Roman Protasevich admits role in 2020 protests in Minsk in TV interview
Direct translation of the article.

News article by Russian military journalist Aleksandr Kots

[KP] Surely the opposition will say that Roman Protasevich was pressured, tortured, pumped with "truth serum" or promised the "hostage" to release his girlfriend. But he looked quite relaxed, and the knight, ready for the sake of his beloved to take upon himself the assassination of Kennedy, clearly does not pull. It is evident that at times he spoke quite willingly, enthusiastically surrendering his recent comrades-in-arms.

Apparently, old grievances spoke in him. And the reaction of the opposition is not interesting to him: “I am here and now, and I am ready to do everything in order to correct my mistakes. I followed my idea and my beliefs. The more I tried not to poke my nose into my own business, not to think about where and what money was coming from, what special services were influencing, the worse everything became ... ”It is unlikely that the words of the person who was brought to the television studio from the detention center can be called a confession, but he really did tell a lot. Not opening, however, America.

On admission of guilt
“… I was one of those people who urged people to go out on the street on August 9 last year. When all the charges were brought against me, I immediately pleaded guilty under Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus “Organization of massive illegal actions”. I fully admitted. I realized that the appeals that I was publishing were the reason for what began, in fact, uncontrollable riots. And for three days Minsk lived in chaos ... "

Coordination of protests
"It was the main coordinating chat of street protests, of the entire information war. Among the participants were Stepan Putilo, Rudik, Tadeusz Dichan, Franak Vecherko, who handed out assignments, Motolko, Artyom Shraibman, Palchis, Dyushkevich, Bogdanovich, Anastasia Rogatko, Victoria Palchis, Evgeny Malakhovsky, who was in charge of the courtyard chats. There we made the main decisions - where the next action will take place, what kind of information agenda we should keep. One chat served as the main coordinating tool of the entire information war and street protests ... "

Shooting begins anew on Tajik-Kyrgyz border
Direct translation of the news article
[REGNUM] The situation on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is heating up again. According to the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan, today, June 4 at 03:00 local time, Tajiks began to install a container on an undescribed section of the border in the Unzhu-Bulak area of the Chon-Alai region (Osh region).

Kyrgyz border guards claim that citizens of Tajikistan entered the territory of Kyrgyzstan up to 1 kilometer deep.

"On the Tajik side, there is an accumulation of military personnel in automobiles and lightly armored vehicles. The border service of the State Committee for National Security is taking all measures to prevent an escalation of the conflict. However,
a hangover is the wrath of grapes...
the border representatives of Tajikistan do not answer the phone calls . "

Kyrgyz border guards have switched to an enhanced version of the service.

Let us remind you that a month ago, there was a conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, in which several hundred people from both sides participated. As a result of armed clashes, the massive use of small arms, as well as artillery and aviation (from Tajikistan), more than 50 people died and more than 200 were injured.

An overview:

Tajikistan surpasses Kyrgyzstan in terms of population. The level of development of the economies of both countries is approximately equal. The countries are separated by a border with a length of about 900 km. Kyrgyzstan is a member of the EAEU, Tajikistan is not. In addition to ordinary goods, drugs are transported from Afghanistan through the territory of Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan and further in transit to Russia. Fuels and lubricants are smuggled from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan.

“… Our trade relations are lame, there are no dynamics. If in 2014 the volume of mutual trade was at the level of $ 40 million, then since then the numbers have not changed much. Both countries have no joint big business or mutual investments. There is only trade, and even then mainly through cooperation of border regions, ”the former deputy ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Tajikistan.

The most serious problem in relations between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan is the unresolved issue of disputed territories. Despite numerous promises, the authorities of the two countries were unable to finally decide the fate of the disputed areas on the border. The situation is aggravated by the growing shortage of water and arable land. The result is regular conflicts between residents of neighboring villages, often leading to casualties among the population.

Biden Says 'Looking' at Russia Retaliation Over Cyberattack
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] US President Joe The Big Guy Biden
...46th president of the U.S. We get to suffer the consequences...
said Wednesday he is "looking" at possible retaliation after the White House linked Russia to a cyberattack against global meat processing giant JBS.

Asked by a news hound if he would take action against President Vladimir Putin
...President-for-Life of Russia. He gets along well with other presidents for life. He is credited with bringing political stability and re-establishing something like the rule of law, which occasionally results in somebody dropping dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substance. Under Putin, a new group of business magnates controlling significant swathes of Russia's economy has emerged, all of whom have close personal ties to him. The old bunch, without close personal ties to Putin, are in jail or in exile or dead from poisoning by polonium or other interesting substances...
, whom he will meet for a summit in Geneva later this month, Biden said: "We're looking closely at that issue."

The ransomware attack on a US subsidiary of Brazilian-owned JBS has again prompted accusations that Russia is at least harboring cybercriminals.

Similar suspicions were raised after ransomware hackers forced the temporary shutdown of the huge Colonial fuel pipeline in the eastern United States last month.

Asked if Putin is testing him ahead of their summit, Biden said "no."

The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday attributed the attack to "REvil and Sodinokibi," which experts have said are two names for the same hacking group with ties to Russia, and said it was "working diligently to bring the threat actors to justice."

"We continue to focus our efforts on imposing risk and consequences and holding the responsible cyber actors accountable," the FBI said in a statement.

#2  Joe still has flash drive, but only for little girls. He can create a malicious Russian cookie or a computer virus or his own version of ransom ware. But, I am sure he will just let trusty Dominion handle it...

Let's warn them well in advance, so they be caught off guard ☺.

#5  I could suggest a few retaliatory measures. First would be to block an entire range of Russian IP addresses from access to the US network. There are firewalls that can do that and I've suggested it many times in the past. Block a range of IP addresses and, if the attacks continue, block another range and then keep blocking until the attacks stop.

But this ignores the larger question which is: If we have so little control over our internet users that we can't mandate stricter security measures, how much control do you suppose Putin has? He is the ruler of a backward country and it is probably a huge mistake to assume that he can control the cyber criminals.

Another question is why are we busting Putin's balls when Xi is just as bad if not worse?

#6  But then, the biggest question of all: Is Biden so badly compromised that he can't do anything at all?

#9  Hey, I thought these were "Private sector problems".

They've been trying to pin something on Russia for what 5, 6 years now? And its all been bullshit, so forgive me for not buying this.
