MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — City police on Sunday night responded to multiple locations as part of a "rolling shooting" incident that’s led to an arrest.
Authorities said they arrived to 14th Ave S. and Kings Highway, 13th Ave S. and Beaver Road and 3rd Ave S. and Kings Highway just before midnight.
Officials said two people were arguing over goods, when one of them shot at the other while chasing a car that was trying to get away.
Police said the suspected shooter has been arrested and the case is ongoing.
It was the second gun-related call in as many days for city police. On Saturday, 44-year-old Anthony Maurice Garner of Albemarle, N.C., was charged in the murder of Columbia resident Cedric Reddick.
Police said the men got into an argument Saturday night over a parking space along N. Ocean Boulevard.

Humphreys reportedly blamed the fight on Smith, telling police that they have a long history and that she had already taken out a protection order against her. Humphreys accused Smith of smacking her first, while “Smith insisted that her childhood acquaintance ignited the brawl,” the New York Post reported.
Humphreys was arrested for violating an order of protection, inciting a riot, and three counts of simple assault.
Records obtained by Fox 13 Memphis show that a man identified as Dantavious Gilchrease was also charged for an argument that spilled outside of the building, during which he allegedly told Humphreys’ mother, Ronda Humphreys, that he would shoot her in the face.

According to the Philly Voice, a fight occurred on the boardwalk late Friday that involved a pair of juvenile girls. Police eventually broke up the brawl and detained several young people before releasing them to their parents.
“No weapons were involved in the fight and no injuries were reported, police say,” the outlet stated.
It added that “Last year, Ocean City enacted an 11 p.m. curfew for minors and a backpack ban on the boardwalk after 8 p.m., as part of a wider effort to discourage unruly teen behavior that has been an ongoing problem at the shore town.”

Klein has alleged the suspect in the case tried to kill her.

[THEPOSTMILLENNIAL] A married special needs teacher in New York is facing charges of sexual abuse of a schizophrenic teen after it was revealed in a lawsuit that that she was caught on video in the act. The lawsuit, filed by the boy’s mother, also accuses the school of negligence regarding the incident.
Sandy Carazas-Pinez, age 34, is accused of sexually absuing a 16-year-old student at Biondi High School. According to the lawsuit, classroom cameras show the teacher sexually abusing the boy but no one at the school was monitoring the video.
Following the student admitting to his mother that he had sex with the teacher multiple times, the principal examined the classroom video and found the teacher cuddling with the boy and asking him to "rub her crotch," the lawsuit stated. Maybe she had an itch?
Carazas-Pinez was charged in a Manhattan federal court last July for luring the teen into a sexual relationship, according to the New York Post. She also allegedly convinced him to be on an X-rated livestream video call with her.
The lawsuit shows Carazas-Pinez sending texts to the teen that read, "I love that you were holding and hugging me in school," and "I call you crazy when you try to finger me in class."
The lawsuit further blames the school for failing to monitor the behavior of the teacher. It also explained that the school let the boy leave campus for multiple hours on a regular basis with a "day pass" that did not require parental permission. While using this pass, the teen repeatedly would go have sex with the teacher in her car.
When the teen attempted to cut the relationship with Carazas-Pinez, the educator allegedly threatened to fail him in class or even kill herself. This reportedly left the boy traumatized.
"Had the school followed even their own most basic safety protocols, they could have prevented the horrific, repeated and ongoing abuse that had occurred under their own roof," stated Lesley Brovner, a lawyer from the law firm who filed the suit.

[Federalist] This Memorial Day, Remember The Fallen, Like This Farm Boy From North Carolina.
Here is a short sketch about one such soldier whose name is carved on the Wall.
Garney Burleson was a farm boy from North Carolina. He is not famous. You will not read about him anywhere other than here. He was a member of the elite aero-rifle platoon of B Troop, 1/9 Cavalry, of the famed 1st Cavalry Division, also known as the “Bravo Blues.”
Garney was killed in action on January 28, 1971, in Binh Tuy Province, Vietnam. He was only 20 years old.
Garney is buried in the cemetery of a small country church outside of Asheville, N.C. No immediate family members are left to remember him today. No parents. No siblings. He never had any children.
At the time of his death, Garney had been in Vietnam for about three months. He was already serving under his second platoon leader, his first having been medically evacuated after being wounded.
Garney kept a cool head under fire. On one occasion, he was lying on the ground behind a tree during a firefight. Keeping his body behind the tree, he held his rifle around it and fired at the North Vietnamese, who were only a few yards away.
An enemy soldier returned fire, hitting Garney’s exposed rifle. The bullet hit the front sight-blade of his M-16 then travelled all the way down the length of his rifle to take out the rear sight also. Obviously, if Garney had been looking through the sights, the bullet would have pierced his head. Unperturbed, Garney held up his damaged but still-operable rifle for a nearby soldier to see, smiled, and calmly said, “They’re shooting pretty close today, aren’t they.”
Garney’s last platoon leader, known as “Blue” for his radio call sign, was scant feet away from Garney when he was killed. Blue carried Garney’s body to an evacuation helicopter that was able to descend through a small opening in the trees. On Memorial Day 2018, that platoon leader made the trip from Knoxville, Tennessee, to his fallen soldier’s gravesite.
The platoon leader was a bit distressed at what he found at the church and cemetery. He had thought he might stumble upon a memorial service held by the church, or at least other mourners at the cemetery. That was not to be. He was alone.
Garney’s grave was not particularly well-tended. Although several others were buried there who could be identified as veterans from their headstones, the church had not made an effort to honor them on Memorial Day, neglecting even to place a small American flag on their gravesites.
The platoon leader went to a nearby store to purchase a small American flag and some flowers. He then returned and placed them on Garney’s grave. He then penned a hasty note to his former soldier, encased it in a protective plastic bag, left it at the tombstone, and held it down with a small stone. He could only hope that by virtue of God’s grace, Garney would know what it said and that he was not forgotten.

South Yorkshire Police said on Sunday that 22 people were hospitalised, ten of whom with serious injuries after a violent brawl broke out at around 2 pm on Saturday on Woodbourn Road in Sheffield.
Footage purporting to have captured the incident posted on social media appeared to show two people being brutally beaten while lying on the ground. Dozens of men were seen in the footage, many of whom were wearing hooded sweatshirts and carrying weapons some of which appeared to be machetes.
