[PJ] It’s too late, AOC. The rest of the Left beat you to the punch.
New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over the weekend called for ignoring a judicial decision on abortion pills with which she disagreed. She echoed Senator Ron Wyden’s call for ignoring Matthew Kacsmaryk’s opinion after the Texas judge ruled that the FDA ignored its own safety rules when it pushed through the RU-486 drug, known as mifepristone, back in 2000. No one who has come through the Covid shot snafu will have any trouble concluding that the FDA isn’t perfect on safety issues.
But that nuance of the case eluded AOC in her call for anarchy, as I explained at PJ Media.
AOC is late to the party, however. The Democrats’ front of anarcho-tyranny is becoming more noticeable. And it’s hard to unsee once you’ve been clued in.
The nut of the idea is that when Democrats scream no one is above the law! they exempt themselves. They arrested Donald Trump based on charges that carried the heft of dandelion wishes and dryer lint. There are laws but they’re merely suggestions enforced at the whim of any George Soros-bankrolled attorney general, secretary of state, or district attorney.
The Dobbs draft abortion decision leak, by a still "unknown" leaker (don’t hire these people for any police work), spawned what the Left considered to be righteous anarchy. Attorney General Merrick Garland seemed to agree. The same man who issued "shock and awe" prosecutions of people who were inside or near the Capitol building on January 6, 2021, whether or not they were violent, issued an order not to go after the "protesters" who descended like a cauldron of bats in hopes of intimidating Supreme Court justices at home before they issued their final decision. They even sent in an assassin. But they were left-wing activists, not people of the right, so it was perfectly fine. How dare you notice???!
That decision dealt a blow to the Left from which they may never recover. No amount of dirty tricks, violence, vandalism, killings, or worse will ever be enough to get a "hey, knock it off!" from this leftist White House. The White House supported the Supreme Court justice "protests" — complete with interactive maps to the justices’ homes — as long as there was no "violence, threats, or vandalism." What part of the "protest" wasn’t a "threat"?
[The Federalist] Mark down Tuesday, April 4, as the night Chicago died.
That's when we learned that Second City voters narrowly elected Brandon Johnson as their next mayor. This is a city that was flattened during the reign of Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who lost in the first round of voting for Chicago mayor because she didn't finish in one of the top two spots. Lightfoot, elected in 2019 after a career as a federal prosecutor who then held several appointed positions in Chicago, shut down the city for more than a year during COVID-19. She also bankrupted small businesses, allowed rioters to burn down whole neighborhoods, presided over the worst crime wave in 50 years and let the schools go to hell.
Now, the voters have selected Johnson. Elected to the Cook County Board of Commissioners in 2018, Johnson narrowly won the mayoralty of America's third-most-populous city on April 4 over Paul Vallas, a former Chicago schools CEO and a Democrat who presented himself as a political moderate compared to the far-left Johnson.
The incoming mayor may turn out to be a worse mayor than Lightfoot. Johnson's occupation is an organizer for the teachers unions. The unions spent several million dollars on the race. They got their man.
What this means is that Chicago's municipal government will now be a fully owned subsidiary of the Chicago Teachers Union. (Can you imagine what the union contracts are going to look like?) This is a city where, in roughly two dozen schools, zero children can read or write at proficiency level.
Johnson said that crime and shoplifting from local schools are societal problems. And he may continue Lightfoot's policy of not prosecuting people who rob stores -- often owned by minorities.

The left has destroyed our great cities, but it has also wrecked our marginal cities and has transformed the libraries in our small towns into nogo zones for kids. There is nothing that they touch that survives without corrosion.

The LSD plan has been a overwhelming success.
They have created massive METRO-LSD voter plantations. Then using METRO BASED Distracting lines, that negate the other 60+% of the population for many states. (In many metro-areas just about every District starts in the City and extends out into the county. )
Thus, they can nullify a vast majority of the conservative class WORKING voters by out vote the divided up into small wedges of conservative voters .
Then they approve Suburban Land rezoning app's to accommodate Massive Apt. complexes and extend the Metro bus routes to service them.
[American Greatness] The last few weeks, the world had been writing off the United States as either crazy or irrelevant as it watches America cannibalize itself.
Friends tremble at our sudden decline. Enemies rejoice. Neutrals make the necessary adjustments to join the ascendant non-American side.
The symptoms of our decline abroad appear everywhere. The more Joe Biden brags about the crippling oil sanctions on Russia, friends like India and allies like Japan ignore them. And why not, when Biden has no idea how long the war in Ukraine will last, or how much wherewithal the United States can, should, or will give Kyiv, or how its on-to-Red-Square blank check will finally end?
Big Biden talks about more solar and wind farms, and green new deals won’t fill the gas tanks in Munich or heat the homes of Kyoto, or lower the price of imported oil in the United Kingdom. Claiming the Afghanistan mess was a success fools no one.
Allies ask who are our leaders. An impaired Joe Biden who never is quite sure where he is, what he is doing, or whom he is with?
Kamala Harris, whose only interests appear to be demagoguing racial and social tensions with a shrinking vocabulary?
Senator John Fetterman (D-Penn.), who was elected on the argument it was unkind not to vote for a candidate who was physically and mentally impaired?
Energy Department kingpin Sam Brinton, the cross-dresser in lipstick, now charged with felonies for stealing women’s luggage at airport carousels?
Pete Buttigieg, our transportation secretary, who virtue signals melodramas of the past when he is clueless how to fix crises in the present? Oligarchs will oligarch. There's no need for them to live in the squalid, urban farrowing houses which they have created. They have their villas in Tuscony, Bern, and Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche.

[Epoch Times] She was the crown jewel of NBC Sports television. A winner of Emmys and trailblazer for women in broadcasting, Michele Tafoya reached millions of viewers in living rooms across America—all from the sidelines on "Monday Night Football."
After nearly 30 years on the air, Tafoya left it all to start podcasting on Salem and speaking her mind. She saw her country being torn apart from within and felt compelled to save it. One year into her social media foray, Tafoya has exactly zero regrets.
"I wanted to respond to some people who were saying things that I thought were divisive," Tafoya told The Epoch Times. "I wanted to say, ’Wait a minute now, you’re saying the American dream is gone? I’m living proof that it’s here.’"
From around 2017 she heard the sound of America’s social fabric tearing at the seams. She saw her friends becoming ever more fearful of speaking their minds on social media, and found it "insane" how speech had been chilled for fear of being canceled.
Tafoya’s podcast would champion free speech and demonstrate to all "how to not be afraid of these forces who want to shut you up." While many trembled to breathe the word "vaccine" during COVID, she remained stoic. "Come on," she said. "Try to cancel me. I don’t care!"
Sidelined no longer, Tafoya would now have her say while introducing her listeners to those whom "they might not otherwise hear from."
Who might those be? Everyone from Dr. Peter McCullough, speaking facts about COVID jabs, to ex-Border Patrol Chief Chris Clem, decrying America’s southern border crisis response—of which Tafoya has much to say, her father himself being a Hispanic immigrant.
"There should be rules and process at the border," she told the newspaper. "A great deal of my family came across the southern border, and they came across legally." Reading her other opinions reported at the link, I think she'd fit right in at Rantburg.

[BEE] U.S. — An unprecedented leak of top-secret U.S. intelligence on the war in Ukraine, military assets, and vital diversity training materials has been traced to its shocking source: an email chain in which President Biden clicked "reply all."
"This email chain included CCP officials, Russian oligarchs, North Korean party members, and other world leaders," said a spokesperson from the Pentagon. "They normally use it to share funny memes with each other, but at some point, Biden had found thousands of classified files on his son's laptop and accidentally attached them in a reply to the entire email chain. It could've happened to anyone." *snort!*
Sources say that after the President realized what he had done, he desperately sent another email begging everyone to not read the contents, but it was too late.
Biden has assured the country that the leak was not that damaging as his son Hunter had already sold most of the documents to the CCP years ago.
