I'll be there, will you?
I won’t be there, except in spirit. But I saw something about caravans already organizing themselves to travel together, along the lines of the Trump parades leading up to Election Day.
There are a number of quite valid reasons NOT to go to D.C. on the 6th (or any time between now and the inauguration). Not the least of these reasons may include the electronic monitoring of your vehicle type and tags, biometric data-basing of your facial identity, social network monitoring of your cellie, contacts, and physical activities. Think about it for a moment. If you were them, what would YOU do ?
Additional reasons could involve your personal safety. I've spent enough time in the beltway. Forgive me for not making the journey.
Please let me know if a huge D.C. turnout changes anything. I'm keeping an open mind on the topic.

Wishing all a HNY, I pray Pence has guts, that we have another 4 years of Trump, that we take down the CCP and of course that Fred recovers from COVID.
It's been hard putting my faith in God who works in such mysterious ways.
DC in spirit as I suspect many here will be and thankful for the 'Burg to get us through 2021 and beyond

Also TW, how is Fred doing if you know?
I’m afraid I have no idea. I’ve been checking Fred‘s and Gloria’s Facebook pages several times a day, and Fred’s MeWe page — and my email and cell phone — but there have been no announcements. Still, Gloria said Fred would be in hospital for at least two weeks. So I’d don’t expect to hear from them unless something changes drastically. And I really don’t want to joggle elbows at this difficult time for them.
But I promise to share as soon as I do know anything.
Also as far as rallies go. I'm for them. But it won't change a lick. The establishment doesn't give a fig. Not until their lives and livelihood is at risk. Then they will respond with lethal force. How many are willing to face that?

From Wikipedia, a Sikh War may mean: The Mughal-Sikh Wars, The Afghan–Sikh Wars. The Gurkha-Sikh War (1809) The Sino-Sikh War (1841-1842) The First Anglo-Sikh War (1845–1846) The Second Anglo-Sikh War (1848–1849) The Sikh Empire dissolved after 1849.
They are not Muslims, to be sure, but they appear to be willing to act as sock puppets for Pakistan’s ISI against India. How would you describe them, Grunter?
#5
Well, non Muslims, as you say, tw. No doubt there is a religious element in Sikh militancy, but I can’t call it jihad.
Formidable people, individually and collectively. They have been peaceful - or pacified- for a long while, on the Indian side, at least. No doubt both sides are using the other (on thePak side) This report is not good news.
I admit to a personal interest- there is a Sikh community in my part of ther world, the North coast of NSW,, Australia.. They came out here after the war to farm bananas at a little town called Woolgoolga, and from the beginning were respected and welcomed as hard working, absolutely honest people. My grandfather, not the easiest man to please, preferred gangs of Sikh cane cutters on our family sugar cane farm- they were such good workers.
And since then I have found myself liking much about the many Sikhs I have met. Bagwhant and Balbir, our next door neighbors in another little country town, lovely people.
I’m rambling a bit- it’s 3.35 am here! - but I wanted to stick up for my friends.
Thanks, tw.
Ditto for the ones I have met here in Cincinnati. But the Sikhs in the article seem like the cadre of IRA bad boys back home as compared to all the lovely Irish descendants over here.
[OneIndia] The Jammu and Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... police said they had arrested three Pakistain-linked terror associates and recovered six grenades from them, foiling a terror plot to attack a temple in the border district of Poonch and disturb communal harmony.
Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Kumar Angral said the arrested were planning to carry out a grenade attack on a temple at the behest of their Pak handler to disturb communal amity in the district.
The officer told presspersons in Poonch that the ploy was revealed after the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the police, along with troops of the 49 Rashtriya Rifles, detained two brothers - Mustafa Iqbal Khan and Murtaza Iqbal of Galhuta village - from their vehicle near Basooni in the Mendhar sector on Saturday.
On interrogation, it was found that Mustafa had received a call from a Pak number and was directed to execute the grenade attack.
"On being questioned further, he admitted to have been tasked with throwing a grenade at a temple in Ari village. A video on how to use a grenade was also found in his phone," the SSP said.
The SSP said it came to light that Mustafa was involved in hard boy activities, and on his confession two of his associates - Mohammad Yaseen and Rayees Ahmad of Dabbi village of Balakote near the Line of Control (LoC) - were apprehended.
Another police official said the three were arrested later, while Murtaza Iqbal is still in jug.
The SSP added, "Vital clues were obtained during the questioning of the trio and searches were conducted in the house of Mustafa from where six grenades, some balloons with Pak marking and a few posters of hitherto unknown J&K Ghaznavi Force were recovered."
Asked about the link between the arrested persons and the December 13 encounter in Dogrian village of Poonch which left two Paksitani hard boyz dead, he said it was the follow-up of that very operation.
[Dawn] In a rare protest, the families of two teenage boys and a young man, killed in Indian-Indian Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there.... e on Wednesday by government forces during an alleged firefight, have denied they were fighters.
Police said the trio were killed in a 20-hour shootout on the outskirts of the region's main city of Srinagar after they were cornered inside a home on Tuesday.
"Repeated announcements were made to the hiding faceless myrmidons to lay down their illegal weapons and surrender," police said in a statement. "Instead, the hiding faceless myrmidons fired continuously upon the searching party."
But relatives of the trio disputed the story and protested outside a police building in Srinagar where the bodies were being kept.
"Yesterday at 10 in the morning, he had tea with me," Bashir Ahmad Ganai, the grandfather of one of the slain youths, Aijaz Maqbool, told news hounds.
"We don't know where he was picked up from and later killed. What is going on in Kashmir?" Ganai said.
The families of the other two — high school student Athar Mushtaq and carpenter Zubair — also insisted they were innocent.
Parents of the students said they had been on their way to receive private tutoring in Srinagar. But police insisted two of them were "hardcore associates of terrorists" and the third might have recently joined fighter ranks. Even then, Kashmir Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar admitted the names of the trio killed in the 'encounter' were not in the "list of terrorists", according to The Indian Express.
The exact ages of the three killed were not released.
[Dawn] Police arrested 14 people in overnight raids after a Hindu shrine was set on fire and severely damaged by a mob led by supporters of a holy man in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa's Karak district, officials said on Thursday.
The temple’s destruction on Wednesday drew condemnation from human rights ...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you... activists and the minority Hindu community.

[OneIndia] The Special Cell of the Delhi Police netted a big fish who was involved in the killing of a Shaurya Chakra awardee and was also plotting the killing of several RSS
...Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, an Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist, paramilitary volunteer organisation...
leaders.
On being deported, the police arrested Sukhmeet Singh alias Sukh Bikriwal at the Delhi airport. A narco since 2012, Bikriwal is a Khalistan sympathiser and was working at the behest of the ISI.
Sources tell OneIndia that he was asked to draw up a plot to target RSS leaders in Punjab. It may be recalled that the National Investigation Agency had filed a chargesheet against 11 persons in connection with the murder of Brig (retd) Jagdish Kumar Gajnega, the vice chief of the RSS in the state of Punjab.
He was rubbed out by two cycle of violence borne persons at the Red Thingy Market area in Jalandhar.
During the investigation, it was found that the killing of Brig. (Retd.) Jagdish Kumar Gagneja was part of Trans-national conspiracy hatched by the big shotship of the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF).
It was found that the conspiracy had its foot-prints in several countries including, Pakistain, UK, Australia, La Belle France, Italia and the UAE.
The source cited above said that the ISI wanted to carry out a spate of killings of Hindu leaders and Bikriwal was assigned the task to oversee the operation.
Earlier this year, The Delhi Police had arrested a five member group of Lions of Islam following an exchange of fire in the Shakapur area of Delhi.
While two belong to Punjab, the others are from Kashmir ...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. The police said that they were on the directions of the Khalistan leaders

who are sponsored by the ISI, Pakistain.
Any port in a storm, I suppose, but that’s a particularly rickety one.
They had killed Singh on the orders of the ISI backed Khalistan leaders. Singh, it may be recalled was killed at his home town in Tarn Taran's Bhikiwind by two unidentified bikers on October 16.
[OneIndia] The Indian Intelligence agencies have flagged threats posed by the Chinese commercial drones being used by the ISI backed Lashkar-e-Tayiba

[AlAhram] The firms say officials fear it could be a limpet mine on the MT Pola, a Liberian-flagged tanker that was receiving assistance in the Persian Gulf off Basra
Sailors onboard an oil tanker that serves as floating storage for an Iraqi state oil company found a suspicious object on its hull, private security firms said Thursday.
The firms say officials fear it could be a limpet mine on the MT Pola, a Liberian-flagged tanker that was receiving assistance in the Persian Gulf off Basra.
The two firms, Ambrey Intelligence and Dryad Global, say investigations are ongoing.
The United Kingdom Marine Trade Operations, an organization under Britannia's royal navy, said on its website that an ``unknown object'' had been attached to a ship's hull in the vicinity of Iraq's Khor al-Zubair Port, without providing further information.
The U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, which patrols the Mideast, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Iraqi officials could not be immediately reached.
The Pola, along with another tanker, serves as floating fuel oil storage of Iraq's State Organization of Marketing of Oil, the data-analysis firm Refinitiv said. Smaller vessels carry the fuel oil to the ship, which then conducts ship-to-ship transfers in the Persian Gulf to clients.
Dryad Global posted a satellite photo that it said showed the Pola conducted a ship-to-ship transfer with the MT Nordic Freedom, a Bermuda-flagged tanker. The owners of the Nordic Freedom, the company Nordic American Tankers, could not be immediately reached. That firm is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
The incident comes amid heightened tensions between Iran ...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate JewsZionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol... and the U.S. In 2019, the U.S. blamed Iran for a series of limpet mine attacks on oil tankers near the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf through which 20% of all the world's oil passes. Iran denies being involved.

[AlMasdar] The Russian Aerospace Forces unleashed a massive barrage of Arclight airstrike ...KABOOM!... s over the Badiya al-Sham region of eastern Homs and western Deir Ezzor on Friday, hitting a number of sites belonging to the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems.... (ISIS/ISIS/IS/ISIS) terrorist organization.
According to a source in the Homs Governorate, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a large number of strikes between the Homs and Deir Ezzor governorate, targeting ISIS sites between the cities of Palmyra (Tadmur) and Deir Ezzor’s administrative capital.
The Russian airstrikes began before the Islamic State carried out an ambush on a passenger bus carrying members of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), but they later intensified, and more than doubled, after the terrorist attack that killed at least 20 soldiers and 8 civilians.
The Russian Aerospace Forces have been maintaining a close watch over the vast Syrian desert between the eastern and central regions of the country; however, due to the large number of mountains
With ISIS resurging in several parts of the country, including the eastern Hama countryside, the Syrian Arab Army has also been forced to move reinforcements to confront the terrorist group and its sleeper cells.
Most recently, the Islamic State has temporarily captured territories in eastern Hama, only to lose them later when the Syrian Arab Army’s reinforcements pour into the areas.
ISIS has increased its activities across the country in 2020, as they have been able to establish several cells in the central and eastern regions of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The physical caliphate was reconquered three years ago, yes. But plenty of ISIS jihadis escaped to fight another day. They’ve mostly gravitated to mountain and desert strongholds, as far as I can tell, from which they wage guerrilla warfare on the population, like Boko Haram in Nigeria.
[JPost] Islamic State on Thursday claimed responsibility for a bus attack in Syria the previous day, saying it had killed 40 Syrian army soldiers and badly wounded six others.
The statement was carried by Islamic State's Amaq news agency.
Syrian state media said on Wednesday that 28 people had died in an attack on a bus along a main highway in Syria's Deir Zor province that borders Iraq.
