[PJ] When news of Trump’s COVID-19 diagnosis broke, many unhinged liberals took to Twitter to express joy, and even wish death upon the president.
It would be nice to believe that unhinged liberals on social media aren’t representative of the whole Democratic Party, but sadly, according to a new Morning Consult poll, they might actually be pretty darn close.
According to the newly released poll, 41 percent of Democrats are "indifferent" about Trump’s positive COVID-19 diagnosis, while a staggering 40 percent responded that they were "happy" about it. Republicans, however, were mostly "sad" (55 percent) and "worried" (51 percent).
Thirty-one percent of Democrats actually claimed to be "excited" at the news.
Excited? Is Trump Derangement Syndrome in the Democratic Party so bad that many Democrats are happy and excited about his diagnosis?

After more than four years of the Dems spying on Trump, a coup d'état, the Russian-collusion-delusion, an investigation based on fiction, an impeachment attempt, constant bombardment by a party obsessed with TDS, a complicit media, it is not shocking in the least.

Astounding number of peoples' first experience with someone having the COVID is with Trump.
As the ones I come across, call it an aggregate of some 40, but half are parrots, half are widow wishers, and only 1 was like "Hey, this isn't good for both security and for voting reasons."
(Yes I know it's just clickbait "ZOMG, you guys!" type rhetoric.)

[Breitbart] Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot (D) has unveiled the coronavirus guidelines for safely celebrating Halloween in the city, all while dressed as the "Rona Destroyer."
Lightfoot’s remarks on the newly implemented rules for the season came on Thursday during a press conference, where she entered wearing a red cape featuring the words "Rona Destroyer," a black mask, and a laminated photo of Clorox wipes draped across her stomach.
"This year more than ever it is important to celebrate Halloween safely and responsibly," Lightfoot said.
Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady also attended the press conference dressed as a "Rona Destroyer" and provided health tips fro celebrating Halloween safely.
In accordance with wearing a mask, the city is asking residents who want to give out candy to leave a sign on the door or an outdoor light on while keeping proper distance and providing hand sanitizer. Trick-or-treaters are also asked to travel in groups of six people or less and have been warned to not stick their hands into bowls of candy. The city also asks that trick-or-treaters wait until they are home to eat the candy.
In the announcement, the city made it clear that "large or small" house parties are not permitted and insisted that haunted house attractions should not operate.

It has become obvious since Trump's diagnosis that people with the democrat co-morbidity are at risk for brain damage if they talk about COVID-19.
My go-to for shutting up democrat droolers who are suffering breathlessness over Trump's diagnosis: "Maybe it's time to just put down everyone who tests positive. It's the only way to be sure."
"We should probably go back and surrender to Germany since Roosevelt had polio."
You should see some of the blank looks those lines generate.

[FREEP] The Michigan Supreme Court issued a split decision late Friday that ruled against Gov. Gretchen Whitmer ...Her Excellency, the dictator of Michigan, 2020 Dem VP contender... in a battle over her power to extend emergency declarations used to mandate COVID-19 restrictions over the last five months.
The court's decision throws into question dozens of orders issued by Whitmer related to the coronavirus (aka COVID19 or Chinese Plague) ...the twenty first century equivalent of bubonic plague, only instead of killing off a third of the population of Europe it kills 3.4 percent of those who notice they have it. It seems to be fond of the elderly, especially Iranian politicians and holy men... pandemic, appearing to void them.
"Today’s Supreme Court ruling, handed down by a narrow majority of Republican justices, is deeply disappointing, and I vehemently disagree with the court’s interpretation of the Michigan Constitution. Right now, every state and the federal government have some form of declared emergency. With this decision, Michigan will become the sole outlier at a time when the Upper Peninsula is experiencing rates of COVID infection not seen in our state since April," Whitmer said in a statement late Friday.
"It is important to note that this ruling does not take effect for at least 21 days, and until then, my emergency declaration and orders retain the force of law. Furthermore, after 21 days, many of the responsive measures I have put in place to control the spread of the virus will continue under alternative sources of authority that were not at issue in today’s ruling."
In the 4-3 ruling, the court determined the governor did not have the authority under state law to issue any additional emergency declarations pertaining to the pandemic after April 30. That was the last date when the legislature allowed the governor to declare an emergency.
"The governor’s declaration of a state of emergency or state of disaster may only endure for 28 days absent legislative approval of an extension. So, if the Legislature does nothing, as it did here, the governor is obligated to terminate the state of emergency or state of disaster after 28 days," said the majority opinion, written by Judge Stephen Markman.

Indeed, much of the council complained to Police Chief Medaria Arradondo about the rise in carjackings, robberies, assaults and shootings. "Residents are asking, ’Where are the police?’ " noted Councilman Jamal Osman, saying citizens "rely on MPD. And they are saying they are nowhere to be seen."
Arradondo, while vowing "to be responsive," said about 100 officers have quit or taken leaves of absence, more than twice the usual rate. (He didn’t bother blaming the council’s defunding vote.)
Just as in New York, the residents of Minneapolis are learning that "violence interrupters" are no help: To keep the peace, you need police.
[FOXNEWS] Mayor Lovely Warren was indicted Friday on campaign finance charges stemming from her re-election campaign three years ago, officials said.
Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley announced that Warren is facing two felonies, including scheme to defraud in the first degree and violation of election law. Also charged were Warren’s campaign treasurer, Albert Jones Jr., and the treasurer of her political action committee, Rosalind Brooks-Harris.
Warren has not been arrested but will be processed, Doorley said. If convicted, she would be removed from office.
“This could be a long process and we anticipate that there could be challenges along the way so I don’t think this will be anything resolved quickly,” Doorley said during a news briefing.
Warren has called the investigation a “political witch hunt." Her lawyer did not return messages from Fox News seeking comment.
Specifics about the ongoing investigation were not revealed but the charges focused on Warren's first term in office from November 2013 through November 2017 in which she raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for her re-election, RochesterFirst.com reported.
Doorley said the city's first female mayor and others took steps to evade contribution limits.
The New York State Board of Elections has been investigating the mayor over financial interactions between a political action committee that supported her re-election and her campaign committee. At one point, the Warren for a Stronger Rochester PAC transferred $30,000 from the group to Warren's committee, Friends of Lovely Warren, according to 2017 expenditure reports obtained by the news site.
Under state rules, PACs and committees are forbidden from coordinating. Warren claims the funds were mistakenly placed in the PAC account.
The indictment comes as Warren, a Democrat, faces political turmoil over the city's handling of the death of Daniel Prude, who suffocated in March while in police custody.
[JPost] - A handful of protesters reported having been attacked by people outside of demonstrations on Saturday night as rallies began throughout the country against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's "failed" leadership.
A woman was attacked by a man who was opposing the protests in the Ramat Hachayal neighborhood of Tel Aviv on Saturday evening. The attacker had been walking through the area where tens of protesters had gathered with his wife and child and attacked the protester and her husband, injuring both. He took the horn that the woman had been blowing into and pushed it into her face, cutting her across the cheek, and broke a flag over the head of her husband. Both were evacuated from the protest and taken to seek first aid.
In Ness Ziona, one man attempted to fight with protesters, allegedly because they were making too much noise. He ignored police, who instructed him to stand by, and so he was arrested.
Another couple of men in Hadera claimed that the protesters in their area were making too much noise and proceeded to assault the protesters. They only stepped away when police was called to the scene and got involved.
Protesters throughout the country reported that they had been verbally assaulted by passersby, including those that drove by them. Demonstrators in Rishon Lezion reported that a vehicle repeatedly drove by and compared them to "Nazi Germany."

Turnout will decide the election. The last 2-3 weeks of the campaign determine the degree of turnout.
Republicans have registered 10x as many new voters this year in the battleground states as Democrats have. This is true especially in Pennsylvania, also pronounced in Florida. And yet none of this massive registration / turnout advantage is reflected in the polls-- none of it. Ergo the polls are entirely useless, and underestimate Trump's likely share of the vote by anywhere from 5 to 10 points, depending on the geographic area sampled.
It would be incredibly foolish in any year, but especially in 2020, to think that today's news is in any way a good predictor of what will happen a month later on Election Day. The really important indicator is new voter registration data.
