Surveillance video showed four black people approach an elderly couple of Asian heritage and attempt to rob them while beating them.
The son of the couple, who did not want to be identified and did not want his neighborhood revealed, said the incident occurred at about 4:30 p.m. PDT on Monday

[KOMONEWS] Tacoma police said Friday that they have arrested a teen suspect in connection with a suspected hate crime case in which an elderly Korean-American couple were attacked nearly five months ago, an assault that was captured on video and widely shared on social media.Authorities did not identify the 15-year-old boy because he is a juvenile. Police said in a written statement that the suspect would face a second-degree assault charge for the incident, which occurred on Nov. 19, 2020.
Investigators used the video to identify the teenager, and realized he was scheduled to show up on Friday for a detention review hearing at Remann Hall for an unrelated robbery charge. Officers were at the courthouse waiting for him, then took him into custody.

[NYTIMES] The Biden administration on Saturday put Johnson & Johnson in charge of a Baltimore manufacturing plant that ruined 15 million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, and stopped the facility from making another vaccine, developed by AstraZeneca.The extraordinary move by the U.S. Health and Human Services will leave the Emergent BioSolutions facility solely devoted to making the Johnson & Johnson single-dose vaccine and is meant to avoid future mix-ups, according to two senior federal health officials. Johnson & Johnson confirmed the changes, saying it was "assuming full responsibility" for the vaccine made by Emergent.
The change came in response to the recent disclosure that Emergent, a manufacturing partner to both AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson, accidentally mixed up the ingredients from the two different vaccines, which forced regulators to delay authorization of the plant’s production lines.

Facebook users from 106 countries, including more than 32 million users in the US, 11 million in the UK, and 6 million in India, had their Facebook IDs, full names, phone numbers, locations, birthdates, bios, and in some cases, email addresses, leaked online.
Insider journalists examined the leaked data and confirmed several Facebook users' data matched up with the leaked data on the list.
Insider reviewed a sample of the leaked data and verified several records by matching known Facebook users' phone numbers with the IDs listed in the data set. We also verified records by testing email addresses from the data set in Facebook's password reset feature, which can be used to partially reveal a user's phone number. -Insider

The CCP has not reported a single case of serious side effects or death after it announced the administering of 100 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine in China on March 28.
But there are four strange phenomena of the Chinese Sinovac vaccine, analyzed as follows.
No Deaths Reported in China
...CCP’s National Health Commission announced on March 28 that more than 100 million doses of its domestic vaccines had been administered in China, but it did not report any deaths or serious side effects. At the same time, however, any comments about the adverse effects of the vaccines are quickly deleted from China’s internet.
Outbreak Intensifies in Countries Using Sinovac Vaccines
...In the United States and Israel, where the BioNTech [Pfizer] vaccine was also chosen as the main vaccine, the epidemic also slowed down significantly after vaccination.
However, the number of confirmed cases in Chile, Turkey, and Pakistan, which chose to receive the Chinese Sinovac vaccine, has increased.
Chile administered nearly 9 million doses of the Sinovac vaccines in February, with an average of 47 doses per 100 people, making it the country with the highest vaccination rate in South America. Adverse Reaction Rate Similar to Placebo

First, in various other COVID-19 vaccines, the ratio of side effects in the vaccination group is usually significantly higher than that in the placebo group. But the ratio of side effects post-vaccination of Sinovac was similar to that of the placebo injection. Some side effects were even lower in the vaccination group than in the placebo group.
