Afghanistan
Taliban shadow district governor captured in Baghlan
[KhaamaPress] Security sources in Baghlan province say that the new shadow district governor and the military chief of the Taliban

... across the border from Miranshah, within commuting distance of Haqqani hangouts such as Datta Khel and probably within sight of Mordor. Khost is populated by six different tribes of Pashtuns, the largest probably being the Khostwal, from which it takes its name...
have been arrested in Baghlan province.

Ahmad Javed Basharat front man to Baghlan police HQ said that during a special operation conducted by the Khenjan district police in cooperation with the counter-terrorism and provincial police, two key Taliban members who were involved in destructive and "terrorist" activities in Baghlan-Kunduz and Baghlan-Samangan Highways were captured and detained.

Basharat added the two captured Lions of Islam are originally residents of Khost province and senior members of the Taliban group.

According to the security official, both were recently appointed in high ranked positions.

The detainees confessed to being involved in many massive attacks and ambushed Afghan security force members and bases along Baghlan- PuleKhumri and Baghlan-Samangan highways.

It is noteworthy that an investigation is ongoing in connection with this matter.

Earlier, Taliban district chief for the Jalga district was arrested by Afghan security force members.

Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.

Behsud Incident: Alipoor Continues to Evade Arrest
[ToloNews] Two weeks after the start of an operation in Behsud district of Maidan Wardak province, security forces have not succeeded in arresting Alipoor,
...Abdul Ghani Alipoor, also known as Commander Shamshir ("Commander Sword"), claims to be a commander of the Hizb-e-Wahdat-e-Islami Afghanistan (the Islamic Unity Party of Afghanistan); Hezb-e Wahdat for short, it was founded as one of the Shiite anti-Soviet mujahedin groups in the 1980s with some support from Iran, eventually becoming the Hazera movement. Defeated militarily by the Taliban, it then fell apart as a political movement, only for the name to be revived in 2014 by Alipoor in Behsud district as a local self defence group against Taliban incursions, then spread to the surrounding provinces — now about 2000 fighters look to him. Cue federal government objections...
a local commander who is accused of downing an army helicopter last month in which nine people were killed.

Security forces said that at least 10 gunnies loyal to Alipoor have been killed and some vehicles that belonged to the local commander have been seized during the operation.

A TOLOnews news hound was the first to visit the crash site where the debris of the downed helicopter is still visible. A politicians’ team also visited the district on Friday.

The government said that the helicopter was downed by gunnies loyal to Alipoor on March 20. Alipoor at first took responsibility for the incident but later denied his involvement.

"He must surrender to the law or we will fight against him, whether he is killed or arrested," said Hamid Saifi, commander of the 5th regiment of 203 Thunder Corps. "We are firmly ready for this."

Alipoor’s whereabouts are still unknown.

Some residents claimed that civilians were harmed during the operation against Alipoor.

Mohammad Naqi, a resident of Behsud, claimed that a pregnant woman and a child were maimed in an Arclight airstrike
...KABOOM!...
by security forces on a house in the district.

Some operation bases belonging to Alipoor have been targeted by security forces during the operation. According to a TOLOnews news hound, parts of the main operation center belonging to Alipoor have been destroyed by airstrikes.

"13 people belonging to Alipoor have been killed. Airstrikes have been conducted following the collapse of the helicopter. The situation is now good and under control," Maidan Wardak Police Chief Wahidullah Nizami.

In response to a question on harm to civilians, Nizami said: "It is war and naturally some problems happening."

The MPs’ team who visited the district said they will assess the downing of the helicopter and claims of harm to civilians.

"We are neither in love with Alipoor nor any other person. We will support any person who will ensure our safety. There wasn’t anyone else to ensure our security," said Ramazan Saberi, a tribal elder in Behsud.

"Security forces have no right to bombard any residential house, but we should not forget that a person who lives in a place does not have the right to give sanction to the militia to enter their house from where they can attack our security forces," said Mir Haidar Afzali, head of the defense committee of the parliament.

"The only way to fight against threats to our security is through the government," said Ali Akbar Jamshidi, a member of the Behsud probe team.

According to local sources, at least 10 civilians have been killed and maimed in government forces airstrikes in Behsud.

Security forces in Behsud said their operation to retake weapons and vehicles from Alipoor and his gunnies is underway.

Afghan Forces Retake Key District in Kandahar, At Least 75 Turbans Toes Up
[ToloNews] Local officials in Kandahar said that the Arghandab district in Kandahar has been retaken from the Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
following an operation by security forces.

Some parts of the district were under Taliban influence over the last few months, according to officials.

Mines have been planted along roads connected to the district, which will delay the return of displaced people to their homes.

The Arghandab district is close to the city of Kandahar.

"Arghandab is a populous district. We used high precision to avoid harm to the people," said Sarbuland, a commander of the special forces battalion in Kandahar.

Arghandab residents said they are waiting to return to their homes.

"The festivities have been underway in the last four months," said Shafi Ahmad, a resident of Arghandab district.

in Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar province.

The Defense Ministry claimed that Talibs wanted to use these vehicles to target civilians and public facilities in the region.

Afghan security force members also discovered and defused 32 IEDs planted by the Taliban in Arghandab district, this move has saved many civilian and military lives.

Several ISIS militants killed in Puntland after clash with security forces
[Garowe] Security forces drawn from Puntland
...a region in northeastern Somalia, centered on Garowe in the Nugaal province. Its leaders declared the territory an autonomous state in 1998. Puntland and the equally autonomous Somaliland seem to have avoided the clan rivalries and warlordism that have typified the rest of Somalia, which puts both places high on the list for Islamic subversion...
on Saturday killed several IS-Somalia gunnies in the northern state, where the group has been trying to create a base, but with their attempts flopping due to vigilance exhibited by the Puntland Security Forces.

The security forces, officials said, clashed with the gunnies at the mountainous region of Balidhidin district within Bari, a region which is often under the threat from the IS-Somalia krazed killers, whose number cannot be told given the secrecy they operate in.

According to officials, Puntland Security Forces [PSF] raided group hideout after a tip-off about a planned attack. Troops sent as reinforcements came under IED on their way to the area but they managed to successfully thwart attempts by the gunnies to raid certain areas in the region.

The fighting, reports indicate, took place at Cal-Miskaad. Heavy weaponry was used but no casualties were reported, as the forces tried to stamp authority in the region, which is prone to attacks from both IS gunnies and the al-Shabaab
...... al-Qaeda's tentacle in East Africa...
group, which subscribes to al-Qaeda ideologies.

Puntland is one of the regions which is least attacked by both al-Shabaab and IS-Somalia gunnies due to robust security measures put in place by the regional leadership. There are no activities from the Somali National Army in the region.

Annually, regional security forces graduate before deployment to the mainstream forces, a move which has blessings from Puntland president Said Abdullahi Deni, the sixth president of the region which was formed in 1998.

IS-Somalia gunnies are often sighted at Goli mountains in Puntland and their activities are limited to Bosaso, the commercial capital of Puntland. The group often festivities with al-Shabaab, thus making the fight against the Islamist gunnies easier.

Mozambican Armed Forces Secure Palma Airstrip
[All Africa] The Mozambican armed forces (FADM) on Saturday took full control of the aerodrome in the small town of Palma, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado, according to a report on the independent television station, STV.

Palma came under attack on 24 March by islamist holy warriors linked to the self-styled "Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
". The Mozambican defence and security forces put up stiff resistance, and say they are driving the holy warriors out of the town, house by house.

Control over the airstrip means that FADM reinforcements can more readily reach the town. The STV team is not in Palma, but is based in the scenic provincial capital Pemba. Currently, there are no journalists in Palma, and cell phone communication, cut off by the holy warriors during their attack, has not yet been restored.

The sources for the STV story are military, and they are in line with reports posted to social media claiming that the terrorists, known locally as al-Shabaab
...... Somalia's version of the Taliban, functioning as an arm of al-Qaeda...
, are gradually losing ground within Palma.

In addition to the airstrip, the FADM are said to be in control of the area of the Palma catholic church where, prior to Saturday, the islamists had been continuing to offer resistance. As the FADM's manhunt for the holy warriors continues, sporadic shooting can still be heard in the town.

The Mozambican forces have announced no figures for casualties, either their own dead, or those of the raiders. Over 9,000 people who have fled from Palma, particularly to Pemba, have been counted by humanitarian aid agencies, but many thousands more are still in the vicinity of Palma, notably in the Afungi peninsula, some 15 kilometres outside the town, where a consortium headed by the French oil and gas company Total had been building natural gas liquefaction plants.

Total has now completely withdrawn all its staff, Mozambican and foreign, from Afungi. The last ship from Afungi, carrying workers from the gas project, arrived in Pemba on Saturday.

As of Sunday, there was still nothing on the Total website about the withdrawal. Indeed, the most recent blurb on the site is dated 23 March, and announces the resumption of construction activities at the Total Afungi site - a resumption that was aborted by the islamist attack the following day.

The Total camp was left in the hands of the Mozambican defence and security forces. Despite Total's public silence, it is reasonable to assume that the company will not return to Afungi until it receives cast-iron security guarantees.

murderous Moslems were killed when Nigerian troops, comprising soldiers and police operatives repelled a holy warriors attack targeting a convoy of the Borno State Government officials, along Monguno-Nganzai road.

The top government officials in the convoy, PRNigeria gathered, include Kakashehu Lawal, Borno State Attorney General; Mustapha Gubio, Commissioner of Rehabilitation Reconstruction and Resettlement; and that of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Mai-Mele.

An intelligence source told PRNigeria that the government officials were returning from Monguno, where they went to distribute relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), when their convoy came under heavy attack by the terrorists, who rode on several guntrucks.

The source, said that a security team headed by Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), Muhammed Ibrahim, as well as a team of soldiers, swiftly engaged the holy warriors in a fierce shootout, which lasted over 15 minutes.

It was gathered that seven murderous Moslems were instantly bumped off, while one was arrested.

The source, added that three soldiers were maimed during the encounter, but were quickly evacuated to a Hospital in Maimalari for treatment Bullet.

"The gallant troops furiously engaged the holy warriors with superior fire power, eliminating at least seven of them whose bodies have been recovered, while several others escaped with bullets wounds.

"Unfortunately, three soldiers were maimed during the shootout, and were evacuated to the Hospital in Maimalari," he said.

Blast in video of purported shootdown of Nigerian military plane is fake

... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
was faked, according to a CNN analysis.

Conflicting reports had emerged in Nigeria over the video of a downed plane, after the country's air force disputed claims from Boko Haram that its holy warriors shot down a jet.

Boko Haram released a seven-minute video Friday, showing the Nigerian Alpha jet flying above its fighters. Then there is a mid-air explosion.

When analyzed closely, however, the earth-shattering kaboom includes a thin smoke trail immediately above the plane -- at odds with its trajectory. The smoke trail and the shape and color of the fireball are identical to a mid-air explosion of a helicopter over the Syrian city of Ma'arrat al-Nu'man, near Idlib, in 2012.

i capital Sanaa.

The protesters were demanding that their plight in Yemen be brought up at international arenas and for the UN to investigate the arson attack committed by the Houthis against them on March 7.

Local sources in Sanaa told Asharq al-Awsat that Houthis arrived at the scene of the protest and soon attacked the demonstrators using clubs and live bullets.

At least two protesters were killed and over 400 Æthiopians and Somalis, including 50 women, were arrested. They were taken to unknown locations.

This is the third Houthi attack against African migrants colonists in less than two weeks. On Thursday, they attacked migrants colonists and kidnapped others when they staged a protest against the militias’ repeated violations against them.

Witnesses said the militias transported the detainees to regions under their control in the Taiz province. They then made them walk on foot towards government-controlled areas in the neighboring Aden and restive Lahj

provinces.

The sources did not have accurate figures over the number of migrants colonists who were forced to leave Sanaa, but it estimated them at around 400, including women and kiddies.

Last month, the UN called for a probe into a fire that killed at least 40 migrants colonists at a holding facility in Sanaa, after Human Rights Watch said it was started by the Houthis.

The rights group said the detainees -- most of them Æthiopian -- had been protesting against overcrowding on March 7 when camp guards rounded up hundreds of them in a hangar.

They then fired "unidentified projectiles" into the building, it said.

HRW said Houthi security forces had locked the migrants colonists in the building after a "skirmish" between guards and detainees. Citing migrant witnesses, it said the forces of Evil had then launched two unidentified projectiles into the building.

Europe
5 Women Arrested in Southern France in Suspected Attack Plot
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Police in southern La Belle France have arrested four women and a girl as part of an anti-terrorist investigation into a suspected attack plot targeting the city of Montpellier.

A police official in the Herault region confirmed the overnight arrests in the city of Beziers, and said Sunday that the DGSI domestic intelligence service and national anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office are handling the investigation.

Investigators centered on an 18-year-old woman living in a housing project in Beziers who is suspected of plotting an attack targeting nearby Montpellier, according to Mayor Robert Menard. The 18-year-old’s mother and three sisters were also arrested, including one who is a minor, he said.
Once again a jihadi plot is a family affair.
The 18-year-old had "boasted" to neighbors about watching ISIS videos, Menard told The News Agency that Dare Not be Named, though he said he didn’t know whether she or her family had been on authorities’ radar for radicalism.

Menard, who was alerted by police to the operation, said he spoke with rattled neighbors at the scene.

"They’re horrified. They fear it gives a bad image of this neighborhood," he said.
Cue the Muslims Fear Reaction standing headline.

#10  Can anyone please explain why this is not being call as armed sedition?

Because they are anti-fascists, Torquemada, so by definition they must be the good guys, never mind fiddling facts. Their supporters see them as the current incarnation of Robin Hood, robbing the rich and powerful to succor the poor and disenfranchised, The fact that this is vicious nonsense is not allowed to get in the way of that romance.

As for treason, that is aiding an outside enemy in time of war. Communist China is not openly at war with us, nor Russia. Jihad, Inc is, but they aren’t working with the Black Bloc anarchists. Antifa/BLM, the current faces of the century old anarchofascist Black Bloc syndicate, may be thinking globally toward the communist utopia that will be born in fire and blood, but they are acting locally to undermine local institutions including the police — which is only preparing the battlefield for the big battle at some point n the future. And since each group claims to be acting independently of all the others — that’s the anarcho part — even though they happen to do a lot of cross training on techniques and objectives, and even though they all seem to be saying the same things at the same time and support one another’s efforts, like all rioting about George Floyd or the latest victim du jour — the syndicate part — nonetheless, by definition (again) they are independent and anyway not working to aid an outside enemy.

But the entire thing could be destroyed by trying and imprisoning those who break local criminals laws each time they break the law. In most of the country the voters haven’t fallen for the Robin Hood romance, as far as I can tell.

India: Punjab cops, border force seize arms, ammunition near Attari border with Pakistan
[OneIndia] In a joint operation with the Border Security Force, the Punjab
1.) Little Orphan Annie's bodyguard
2.) A province of Pakistain ruled by one of the Sharif brothers
3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

Police Sunday seized assault rifles and live cartridges near the Attari border which, officials said, were pushed into the Indian territory by Pak nationals associated with Sikh hardliners.

Police said the recoveries were made just 10 metres from the border with Pakistain in the joint operation carried out based on a tip-off.

The recoveries included one FAL 222 rifle with magazine loaded with nine live rounds, one AKM-47 rifle with a magazine loaded with five live rounds, one 303 bore gun with seven loaded live rounds, besides one 30 bore caliber China-made pistol with one magazine.

Police said they had received specific intelligence inputs that a cache of weapons was pushed into the Indian territory in the area of border outpost Pulmoran near border village Dhanoa on the intervening night of April 3-4.

They said the searches were conducted on this input and the consignment smuggled from Pakistain was seized just around 10 metres from the International Border Zero Line between the two countries.

According to intelligence inputs, the consignment was pushed by a Pak national, named Bilal, who is closely associated with Sikh hardliners engaged in anti-India activities, they said.

Further investigation, including technical analysis, is being conducted to unearth the network of Bilal''s foreign and Indian associates involved in the supply and further movement of the consignment, police said.

Iraq
Renewed demonstrations in Nasiriyah as violence escalates against protesters
[Rudaw] Protests renewed in the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah on Sunday after an bomb detonated at a Saturday memorial ceremony to commemorate those killed in Iraq’s protest movement, an activist has confirmed to Rudaw English.

Three people were maimed at a kaboom at the Tishreen deaders ceremony, activist Muhammad al-Khayyat told Rudaw English on Sunday. One is in a critical condition.

Video shared to social media showed a group of protesters erecting tents in the city’s central al-Habboubi Square on Sunday in preparation for an open sit-in demanding authorities reveal those behind the killing of protesters and calling on the government to protect activists from threats, kidnappings, liquidations.

At least 600 people have been killed across Iraq and more than 18,000 injured since the protests began, according to figures released by Amnesia Amnesty International last year.

In November 2020, protesters in Habboubi Square were forced out of their tents and shot at by supporters of Shiite holy man Moqtada Tater al-Sadr
...hereditary Iraqi holy man and leader of a political movement in Iraq. He had his hereditary rival al-Khoei assassinated shortly after the holy rival's appearance out of exile in 2003. Formerly an Iranian catspaw, lately he's gagged over some of their more outlandish antics, then went back to catspawry...
, leaving seven people dead and scores maimed. Protesters moved back into the square a week later and vowed to continue protesting.

In February, bloody festivities left several dead and maimed in the city.

"We closed a number of official departments in the governorate, in addition to main roads in preparation for the open sit-in," Khayyat said.

Protests said they reject Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi’s decision to appoint Abdul Ghani al-Asadi as the Dhi Qar governor after Nathim al-Waeli stepped down following bloody protests calling for his dismissal.

Local government officials in other provinces have also come under fire, accused of involvement in the kidnap of activists.

Haidar al-Khashan, who was kidnapped and held for several hours early Thursday by unknown button men, accused agencies affiliated to the Governor of Muthanna of kidnapping and threatening him on Sunday.

"Four people got out of a government Land Cruiser, kidnapped me in front of my mother, handcuffed me and put a bag on my head before taking me to an unknown place and interrogating me for an hour and a half," Kashan said told Rudaw English on Sunday.

The people who interrogated Khashan said they were from Samawah, and threatened to kill him if he went to demonstrations against Governor Ahmed Manfi, according to Khashan.

"Today we kidnapped you and we will release you, but tomorrow we will finish you by placing a bullet in your head," Khashan quoted the kidnappers as saying.

"What hurt me the most when I was kidnapped was my mother; she is still in shock," Kashan said.

"I fear for my life now, I cannot go out alone at night, and I make sure to go out with my friends during the day," he added.

A day after the incident Kashan was back on the streets, leading a large demonstration in the city of Samawah on Friday.

"We will not be afraid of such threats, and we will not back down," he said, pledging to continue protesting until the local government is removed from power.

Conflicting Reports Emerge over Assassination Attempt against Iraqi Officer
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Deputy Director of Military Intelligence at the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Zaid al-Maksousi, survived an liquidation attempt in an area south of Baghdad on Saturday.

Security sources said that as his convoy was making its way back to Baghdad, it was attacked near the Diyala Bridge by button men traveling in three Salvador vehicles.

Maksousi’s security exchanged fire with them, injuring one and seizing one of their cars. Two of the security forces were also injured in the incident.

No one claimed the responsibility for the attack, including the ISIS terrorist organization.

An informed source told Asharq al-Awsat that Maksousi was returning to the capital from the Wasit governorate, where he was on a social visit accompanied by his brother.

The source explained that given his rank and involvement in the liberation battles against ISIS, Maksousi is more likely to be targeted by the terrorist organization.

However,
denial ain't just a river in Egypt...
preliminary information revealed that the official was not the intended target, and that the attack was a result of a dispute between two tribes in the region, according to the source.

Diyala and the surrounding areas continue to suffer from instability due to conflicts between ISIS, armed factions and militias that are active in the region

Diyala MP Mudar al-Karawi said the province is suffering from "security vacuum" in five areas, most notably the countryside of Jalawla, which was repeatedly attacked by Lions of Islam several months ago. Several civilians and members of the security forces were killed and injured in those attacks.

Karawi added that the Defense Ministry has pledged to immediately address the situation through a number of plans, including the deployment of several surveillance points.

The MP stressed the importance of improving security in Diyala that would in turn maintain security in Baghdad.

Jordan's FM Says Malicious Plot' Was Foiled
Follow up to this report from yesterday.
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Sunday accused former Crown Prince Hamza bin Hussein of conspiring with foreign elements in a "malicious plot" that threatened national security.

Safadi told news hounds that the plot had been foiled at the "zero hour."

"Then it was clear they moved from design and planning into action," Safadi said. He says some 14-16 people are under arrest.

Safadi spoke a day after Prince Hamza was placed under house arrest.

Safadi, who also holds the title of deputy prime minister, said intelligence agents had been observing the plotters for some time and raised their concerns with the king.

He said Hamza was asked to "stop all these activities and movements that threaten Jordan and its stability," but he refused.

He said a longtime bigwig, Bassem Awadallah, was involved and had been planning on leaving the country. He also said Awadallah had been trying to secure a place for Hamza's wife to flee.

Nearly 20 arrested in alleged plot against Jordan's King Abdullah II
[WASHINGTONPOST] Jordanian authorities on Saturday arrested as many as 20 people and sought to restrain the movement of a former crown prince amid what officials called a threat to the "security and stability" of a country long regarded as a vital U.S. ally in the Middle East.Prince Hamzeh bin Hussein, the eldest son of the late King Hussein and his American-born fourth wife, Queen Noor, was told to remain at his Amman palace amid an investigation into an alleged plot to unseat his older half brother, King Abdullah II, according to a senior Middle Eastern intelligence official briefed on the events.

The move followed the discovery of what officials described as a complex and far-reaching plot that included at least one other Jordanian royal as well as tribal leaders and members of the country’s political and security establishment. One official cited unspecified evidence of "foreign" backing for the plan.

Biden administration officials were briefed on the arrests, which come at a time of heightened economic and political tension in a country long regarded as a bulwark of stability and an essential partner in U.S.-led counterterrorism operations.

Additional arrests were expected, said the intelligence official, who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity, citing security sensitivities surrounding the law enforcement operation.

In a formal statement late Saturday, the Jordanian Armed Forces confirmed that multiple arrests had occurred and that Hamzeh had been "asked to cease all movements or activities that could be employed to target Jordan’s security and stability." The statement said that the former crown prince had not been arrested but that "comprehensive investigations" were underway.

In a video statement late Saturday, Hamzeh denied wrongdoing and said the actions against him were an attempt to silence him for speaking out against corruption in Jordan. In the statement delivered to the BBC by his lawyer, he confirmed that he was "not allowed to go out, to communicate with people or to meet with them, because in the meetings that I had been present in — or on social media relating to visits that I had made — there had been criticism of the government or the king."

"I am not the person responsible for the breakdown in governance, for the corruption, and for the incompetence that has been prevalent in our governing structure for the last 15 to 20 years, and has been getting worse by the year," he said. Hamzeh, whose relations with Abdullah have been strained since his title was stripped from him in 2004, has sparred with his half brother frequently over the years, though mostly in private.

Who is Jordan’s ex-crown prince Hamzah, accused of destabilizing kingdom?

Jordanian report: Former Mossad official was involved in alleged plot
The rumours are flying thick and fast over there.
[IsraelTimes] A report in Jordanian media says a former Mossad official was involved in the alleged plot to destabilize the country.

The Ammon news agency, citing an "informed source," says a former Israeli spy was the one who contacted the wife of former crown prince Hamzah bin Hussein, and offered to fly her out of the country.

The report does not name the State of Israel as tied to the ostensible coup attempt in any way.
More on the Israeli:
Roy Shaposhnik, the man Jordanian media reports is an ex-Mossad official who tried to get Prince Hamzah’s wife out of the country, tells Walla News’ Barak Ravid that he was never a member of Mossad.

However,
Caliphornia hasn't yet slid into the ocean, no matter how hard it's tried...
he does confirm that he is a close personal friend of the prince.

"During the weekend, Prince Hamza told me about what happened in Jordan and I proposed that he send his wife and kids to stay in my house," he says.

"I don’t have any knowledge of the events that took place in Jordan or of the people involved. The proposal I gave Prince Hamzah was done on the basis of our personal friendship and out of a wish to help the princess and their kids at this difficult moment."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
IRGC announces formation of 300 new groups of 'religious' patrols in Tehran
[IRANNEWSWIRE.ORG] In a conference on Monday, Tehran’s Social Deputy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps announced the formation of 300 groups of religious patrols.According to the state-run IRNA News Agency, Tehran’s IRGC Social Deputy Vahid Amirian said each member of the new "Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong" groups will give 12 verbal warnings a day.

Enjoining good and forbidding wrong is an Islamic concept used by the Iranian regime to crack down on civil liberties, including how civilians dress and act in public.

Amirian told the IRGC conference in Tehran that "the groups have approval to start their activities" adding that they had full legal and judicial support.

The IRGC Social Deputy also warned that anyone who insults the religious groups would be dealt with by the police and judicial authorities.

Hassan Hassanzadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Rasoul Allah Base, who was also in the conference also warned that "if anyone takes any steps to weaken the regime, it will be considered a vice".

Hassanzadeh also said he wanted the religious patrols to go further than cracking down on civil liberties, adding that the IRGC and others should "not be limited to specific issues".

Before this, in October 2020, a judicial branch in northern Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
was established to support regime affiliated vigilante groups tasked with giving notices to civilians who do not conform to the regime’s "moral" laws. The Gilan Head of Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong Headquarters, Sajad Sarfaraz said the groups, made up of Basij forces, would be "supported by the judiciary."

Sarfaraz said "the community can move towards perfection with the enjoining good and forbidding wrong groups, and this should be carried out in cyberspace as well".

On October 19, 2020, the Tehran Chief of Police, Hossein Rahimi, also emphasized that the main aspect of an Islamic state was "enjoining good and forbidding wrong". Rahimi compared civilians who were practicing their civil liberties to "criminals, smugglers and embezzlers" and said the police would "deal decisively" with those who were looking to "spread the wanton culture of the West".

The establishment of an "Enjoining Good and Forbidding Wrong" branch in the judiciary will make it easier for the regime to curb civil liberties.

The IRGC is responsible for the regime’s regional terrorist operations and suppressing dissent at home, especially through its paramilitary branch, the Bassij.

Bodies of 3 Lebanese Sisters Wash Up in Syria
[ENGLISH.AAWSAT] The bodies of three sisters missing in Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
have washed up on a Syrian beach and a probe is underway to determine how they drowned, a Lebanese security official said Sunday.
I would assume the air in their lungs was replaced with water, but I'm not a Lebanese Security Official
The sisters went missing from a village in northern Lebanon on Monday, said the official, adding that Syrian authorities found their bodies on Friday.

Their bodies had likely been transported by the current north into Syrian waters, he added.

State news agency SANA said the Lebanese Foreign Ministry had reached out to authorities in Damascus "to verify their identity".

The Syrian Interior Ministry said Saturday it had found "three young women appearing to be in their twenties or thirties" washed up on a beach in the coastal port city of Tartus.

A forensic examination determined they had drowned three days earlier, the ministry said.

But it was not immediately clear how they ended up in the sea, AFP quoted a Lebanese official as saying.

The family of the sisters was being interrogated in Lebanon as part of a probe into their deaths, with possible explanations including attempted migration or "suicide", a security source said.

In recent months, dozens of Lebanese have boarded unsafe dinghies in a bid to flee rising poverty in Lebanon by sea, several not surviving the journey.
