Border Patrol tallies record 557 migrant deaths on US-Mexico border in 2021 fiscal year
[CNN]
...the organization formerly known as the Cable News Network. Now who knows what it might stand for...
US Border Patrol recorded more migrant deaths on the US southern border in fiscal year 2021 than in any prior year on record, according to data shared by the agency Thursday.

There were 557 Southwest border deaths during the fiscal year, which ended September 30. That's up from 254 deaths in fiscal year 2020 and 300 deaths in 2019, marking a significant increase amid a 30-record year for border crossings. The agency data on deaths dates to 1998.

A majority of migrant border deaths have been related to heat exposure, according to the agency. Moslem colonists Migrants often face dangerous terrain and can get lost as they try to make their way to the US.

Afghanistan
Visits Abroad by Islamic Emirate Were Effective: Mujahid
[ToloNews] Deputy Minister of Information and Culture, Zabiullah Mujahid, said that the visits of the delegation of the Islamic Emirate to a number of regional countries were fruitful.

Mujahid denied discussion by any official of the Islamic Emirate over the Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
River Treaty with Iranian officials, which Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. claimed had occurred.

Talking to news hounds on Saturday in Kabul, Mujahid said that the Islamic Emirate remain committed to preserving national interests. He said that no official discussed the Helmand River Treaty with Iran.

Mujahid said that the regional countries have expressed readiness for cooperation with Afghanistan.

"Uzbekistan pledged to transform power lines from Uzbekistan to Pul-e-Khumri (capital of Baghlan province)," he said.

Referring to the visit of the Turkmenistan Foreign Minister, Rashid Meredov, Mujahid said that Kabul assured Ashgabat they would provide security on the borders. According to him, Turkmenistan was ready to provide five-million-dollars of financial support to the TAPI project in Afghanistan.

The Islamic Emirate’s front man also referred to reports that the US allowed the Resistant Front to open an office in the US, saying the claim was baseless.

He once again reiterated that there will be no threat from Afghanistan’s soil to any country and that there is no need for the formation of an outpost on the borders.

Rooters has recently reported that the Islamic Emirate appointed an envoy for Afghanistan’s embassy in Islamabad. But according to Mujahid, no official envoy was appointed for the embassy.

"There have been serious discussions with Pakistain over the trade problems," he said, referring to the recent chaos at crossing areas with Pakistain.

Regarding a meeting that was recently held between the acting foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, and his Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi, Mujahid said that China expressed readiness to provide investment in Afghanistan

29 LGBT Afghans arrive in Britain
[KhaamaPress] A group of 29 Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) left Afghanistan and arrived in London on Thursday, October 29 as part of the UK initiative.

The group was evacuated from Afghanistan as a result of interference from the British Foreign Ministry, LGBT+ rights charity Stonewall, and the asylum group of Rainbow Railroad.

The group also includes students and teachers who were advocating the rights of LBGT in Afghanistan.

The activists and foreign ministry in the UK said that this is the beginning and they will continue to help all the Afghans who are at risk.

British foreign minister Liz Truss said that Britannia is a free country and people can live as they want to be and free from persecution.

LGBT Afghans have complained that they have been beaten and intimidated by the Taliban

Kurdish migrants stuck on Belarus-Poland border claim ill-treatment, poor conditions
[Rudaw] Around 300 Kurdish migrants colonists remain in stalemate on the Belarus-Poland border, claiming physical harassment by border guards, a lack of food and water and dire cold.

Karwan Kamil, a migrant on the border, told Rudaw on the phone on Saturday that around 300 Kurdish migrants colonists from the Kurdistan Region have been stuck in the forest between Belarus and Poland for weeks and "are facing a terrible situation with no food or water."

He said that an 11-year-old child from Erbil has died of cold and hunger.

Kamil said that the Belarus police have treated them terribly.

"[Police] have broken arms and legs of many migrants colonists...they do not help us at all," he said, adding that more migrants colonists will suffer at the border should the situation continue.

Balen Yousif, a migrant from Zakho, is shown in video footage sent to Rudaw calling for help, claiming that border guards broke his limb.

"Belarus police beat me up and broke my leg," he said in Kurdish. "My leg has been like this for seven days now."

Thousands of migrants colonists have tried to gain entry to E.U. nations from Belarus this summer. The E.U. accuses Minsk of pushing migrants colonists to their borders in protest of sanctions imposed in response to a crackdown on dissent.

Poland declared a state of emergency on their border in late September. It has registered around 23,000 attempts to enter its territory this year, DW reported. Other migrants colonists have tried to enter Lithuania or Latvia, but have ended up in camps.

This year, roughly 37,000 Iraqis have left the country, according to data from the Summit Foundation for Refugee and Displaced Affairs (Lutka).

Iman Dler, one migrant who had traveled with her family, told Rudaw on Friday she had been separated from the rest of her family members when she was taken by Polish border guards to treat her broken leg. In an interview with Rudaw, she pleaded for help finding her family members, unaware at the time that her brother, 25-year-old Gaylan Dler, had died on the border the night prior.

The Polish parliament this month passed a law that grants border guards the power to push migrants colonists back across the border, Rooters reported. It’s part of an effort by Belarus’ neighbors to fortify their borders and stop the migration. The move, which could breach the country’s commitments under international law, has drawn criticism from human rights
When they're defined by the state or an NGO they don't mean much...
organizations.

Bill Frelick, Refugee and Migrant Rights Division Director at Human Rights Watch, told Rudaw on Wednesday that the move is "unacceptable."

"We are seeing that this is a standoff, basically, with Poland pushing people back," he said.

"Belarus, of course, is using refugees as pawns in order to negotiate with the European Union
...the successor to the Holy Roman Empire, only without the Hapsburgs and the nifty uniforms and the dancing...
, and this is completely unacceptable, but it’s equally unacceptable for Poland to be pushing people back."

The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) is offering assistance to those who want to return or send the bodies of their dead back to the region.

"Those who are in a very bad situation and have entered Polish territory...some of them want to return to Kurdistan; we are helping them," the KRG’s representative in Poland Ziyad Rauf told Rudaw this week. "As for those who have bit the dust, we are trying to bring their bodies back to Kurdistan."

Separated from family at Poland-Belarus border, Kurdish woman pleads for help

[Rudaw] A Kurdish woman, desperate to reunite with her family who she said she was separated from when she was taken to a camp in a Polish town on the border with Belarus, appealed to other would-be migrants colonists not to risk the same journey to Europe.

Iman Dler, originally from Erbil, had been traveling with her husband, child, and brothers, hoping to ultimately reach Germany. Speaking to Rudaw’s Alla Shahly on Friday, she said her family was misled by smugglers and mistreated by Belarusian border guards.

The family left Erbil on October 12 and flew to Dubai and from there to Belarus where smugglers brought them to the border with Poland. They ended up stuck on the Belarus-Poland border for 12 days. "Every night, the Belarus border police would throw us into Poland’s territory and the Polish forces would send us back to Belarus," she said.

Dler does not know where her family members are now, saying they were sent back to Belarus by Polish border guards while she was taken to hospital after she collapsed and broke her leg.

"I’m pleading with you, please, do everything possible you can just to bring my child to me. He’s just five. One of my brothers suffers from a chronic disease. He’s suffering from diabetes. His health is very critical. Please, do everything to my child and brother. And still, I don’t know anything about my husband. Please, help us," said Dler.

She was not aware at the time that her brother, Gaylan, had died Thursday night on the border of suspected diabetes complications.

"It was very, very cold. You can’t imagine how cold it was. Children were with us. We used to drink wastewater. We had completely run out of food. My three brothers, my child, and I did not eat anything for five days in a row," she said.

#1

So Anti-Fa Leaders have openly set itself above US law and plans physical violence and mayhem, if their guilty verdict demand isn't met.

Sounds like Anti-FA is a Revolutionary Domestic Terrorist Group.

We know the there are 1000's of FBI, State, and yes even still good Portland LEO's. So why hasn't Andrea Lane Mun been arrested by any of the still good LEO's?

Is it due to the current Government and leadership seat holders?

Has the incoming Coup clearly placed themselves above the law?
Because, it is clear and well documented that it has selectively enforced, applied and even violated US Law's, as needed, for their Social-Political agenda many times.

#5  These f--kers supported a knife-toting rapist car thief out on n arrest warrant and expressed their support by torching a city and causing mayhem -- with the help of a convicted child rapist who traveled from Arizona (Rosenbaum) so he could set a dumpster on fire... at a GAS STATION. The other two attackers were also felons. The fourth assailant (D'Flying Kicker III) hasn't been caught but odds are, he's a felon too.

Kyle Rittenhouse is more than a national hero. His extraordinary example of singular moral clarity and physical courage represents this country's best hope of the next generation recovering some sanity in our law enforcement and criminal justice systems.

If Kyle is not acquitted of all charges, it will effectively be the last nail in the coffin of rule of law in this country.

The Grand Turk
Turkey deported 8,500 terror suspects since Syrian civil war began
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] More than 8,500 imported muscle have been deported from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the decaying remnant of the Ottoman Empire...
since the start of the Syrian civil war 10 years ago, the Ottoman Turkish Interior Ministry said on Saturday.Terror suspects from 102 countries were expelled, including 44 from the US and 1,075 from EU states, according to a ministry statement. In the first 10 months of this year, 61 suspects from eight EU countries were deported.
Wow! That's 850 a year, almost 71 a month on average.
The ministry said a total of 8,585 fighters were "deported as a result of Turkey’s efforts to secure its security within and beyond the border" since 2011. The deportees had left their home countries to join groups such as the ISIS group and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, as well as its affiliate in Syria.

Turkey has carried out three military campaigns in north Syria since 2016 and maintains a military presence in the northwest province of Idlib as well as other areas inside the Syrian border. It is currently conducting operations against the PKK in northern Iraq.

The ISIS group carried out a number of major terror attacks on Ottoman Turkish soil in 2015 and 2016 after Ankara joined the international coalition to fight the holy warriors. The bomb and gun attacks left hundreds dead.

The conflict with the PKK has caused tens of thousands of deaths since the group launched its armed campaign in southeast Turkey in 1984. The PKK is considered a terrorist organization by the US and most Western states.

The PKK’s Syrian wing was instrumental in supporting US-led efforts to drive ISIS fighters from northwest Syria. Washington’s ties to the Kurdish fighters, who it maintains are distinct from the PKK, has added to tensions with Ankara, which views them as terrorists.

Home Front: Politix
House Dems to Introduce Resolution to Condemn Israel, Praise Terrorist Palestinian Groups
[PJ Media] A contingent of House Democrats plans to introduce a resolution urging the Biden administration to condemn Israel while also supporting six Palestinian groups that are designated as terrorist organizations by Israel, the United States, and the European Union.

Rep. Betty McCollum (D., Minn.) plans to introduce the resolution, which, unsurprisingly, will be co-sponsored by "Squad" members Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), Ayanna Pressley (D., Mass.), and Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.), and several other House Democrats.
The Jooo-Hating Usual Suspects
"Among the groups backed in the Democratic resolution are the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is designated as a terrorist group by the United States and the European Union," the Washington Free Beacon reports. "Also included is the Union of Agricultural Work Committees, which had funding cut from it in 2020 after the group’s leadership was arrested for murdering a 17-year-old Israeli."

The resolution by House Democrats celebrates the groups for the "value and importance" of their "courageous work," while also condemning Israel for its supposedly "repressive act designed to criminalize and persecute important Palestinian human rights organizations." The resolution also calls on Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken to condemn Israel’s "authoritarian and anti-democratic act of repression" and support the six terrorism-tied organizations.

While it is unlikely the resolution will get widespread support, it nevertheless is a symptom of the rising problem of anti-Semitism becoming mainstream within the Democratic Party. Earlier this year Nancy Pelosi infamously walked back her rebuke of Rep. Ilhan Omar for equating so-called "crimes against humanity" by the United States and Israel to "unthinkable atrocities" by the Taliban and Hamas. The incident proved that the Democratic Party leadership is unwilling to hold their own accountable for radical anti-American and anti-Israel views.

#1  this is one reason it was disappointing that the Dems didn't have a real nomination convention in 2020

most people don't realize the toxic hatred in the Dem party and it is covered up by CBS, NBC, CNN, yahoo news, google news, Bloomberg news, etc. The only way this gets to the low information voters and the gaslighted voters (whom make up at least 30% and maybe 60% of the registered voters) is to see it with their own eyes.

Raw, psychotic anti Israel hatred is just one of the things that would come out of a convention, raw anti American hatred also, also anti white, anti blue coller, etc.

Migrant caravan rejects visa offers from Mexican officials, keeps going toward US
[Foxnews] A massive caravan of thousands of migrants has rejected an offer of humanitarian visas for some of the travelers, and is continuing with its journey to the United States border.

The Mexican National Institute of Migration said in a statement that it offered humanitarian visas to women and children in the caravan, but said it was rejected by leaders of the caravan, which set off from southern Mexico last week.

One of the leaders told Reuters that they were distrustful of the authorities who they said had broken promises to them in the past -- and that the deal involved them reporting to government shelters and possibly being moved across states.

The migrants, currently in Ulapa, will leave later Saturday and head to Mapastepec as they walk at night to beat the heat of the day as they take their chances to get into the United States via the southern border -- where there were more than 1.7 million migrant encounters in Fiscal Year 2021.

Organizer Luis Garcia Villagran had told Fox News earlier this week that there were approximately 4,000 migrants in the caravan, with 1,256 under the age of seven, over 400 between the ages of seven and 18, more than 100 babies under one and 65 pregnant women.

MIGRANT CARAVAN CONTAINING THOUSANDS TRAVELS THROUGH MEXICO TOWARD US BORDER: ’TELL BIDEN WE ARE COMING’
"Give us our money!"
While single males are mostly being turned away under the Trump-era Title 42 public health order, the Biden administration has only been turning away a fraction of family units and is not applying Title 42 to unaccompanied children. In September, 75% of single adults were expelled under Title 42, while just 27% of family units were expelled.

India-Pakistan
New ISI chief: Gen Bajwa showed Imran Khan who is the boss of Pakistan
[OneIndia] The decision by Pakistain Prime Minister, Imran Khan
...aka The Great Khan, who ain't the sharpest bulb on the national tree...
to notify Lt. General Nadeem Ahmed Anjum as the next ISI chief is a clear sign that the army continues to be in complete control of the country.

The new spymaster will replace Lt. General Faiz Hameed next month. The notification by the Prime Minister's Office comes after nearly three weeks of a face-off between the military and the government.

On October 6, The Mighty Pak Army chief, General Qamar Bajwa had reshuffled the top military brass and while doing so, he transferred Lt. Gen Hameed to Beautiful Downtown Peshawar
...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistain's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire...
as the corps commander. He also appointed the Bloody Karachi
...formerly the capital of Pakistain, now merely its most important port and financial center. It is among the largest cities in the world, with a population of 18 million, most of whom hate each other and many of whom are armed and dangerous...
corps commander. Lt. General Anjum as the ISI chief.

However Imran Khan was reluctant to notify the appointment and this had strained the relations with the military. However Khan had to tow the line of the army chief. This has now led to strong speculation that General Bajwa may most likely continue to head the military beyond November 2022. He took over as the army chief on November 29 2016.

While the army chief had made his decision on the new ISI chief, Khan remained reluctant and said that he wanted the due process to be followed. He was trying to suggest that he did not want to replace Lt. General Hameed as the ISI chief. To be sure, General Bajwa had sent a list of names to be appointed as the next ISI chief so that the PM could interview them. However,
the way to a man's heart remains through his stomach...
this was just a way to help Khan save face, but in reality the message was clear and the army wanted only Lt. General Anjum as the next ISI chief.

However on October 26th it became clear that the army had had its way. The PM's office said in a tweet Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister @ImranKhanPTI today. The meeting was part of the ongoing consultation process between the Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff about the timing of change of command in ISI and selection of the new DG ISI.

During this process a list of officers was received from ministry of Defence. Prime Minister interviewed all the nominees. A final round of consultation was held between the Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff today, the PM's office also tweeted.

After this detailed consultative process, name of Lt..Gen. Nadeem Anjum was approved as new DG ISI. The designate DG ISI shall assume charge on 20th November, 2021, another tweet read.

IDF fighter jets escort American bomber through region, in tacit threat to Iran
[IsraelTimes] Israeli F-15 fighter jets escorted an American heavy bomber through the region as it made its way to the Persian Gulf on Saturday, in an apparent threat to Iran.

"The flight represents the continued operational cooperation with American forces in the region," the Israel Defense Forces said.

The escort mission came as Israeli and American officials have increasingly threatened to act against Tehran’s nuclear program, as Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
has stalled indirect negotiations with the United States in Vienna regarding a mutual return to the 2015 nuclear deal.

The Israeli military shared photographs and video footage of the flight, showing the American B-1b bomber, which is capable of carrying heavy bunker-buster bombs that would be needed for a strike on Iran’s largely underground nuclear facilities, alongside the Israeli F-15 jets.

Lebanon ministers hold crisis meeting over dispute with Saudi Arabia
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] A Lebanese crisis group of ministers met Saturday to discuss a deepening diplomatic rift with Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. Fifteen of the nineteen WTC hijackers were Saudis, and most major jihadi commanders were Saudis, to include Osama bin Laden. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century...
that has seen the kingdom expel Leb
...the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity™, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade...
’s envoy to the Gulf state and ban all Lebanese imports.

The row over critical comments made by Lebanese Information Minister George Kordahi about the Arab Coalition military intervention in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
threw the government into a new crisis amid calls for Kordahi’s resignation.

If Kordahi resigns, ministers backed by the heavily armed Shia Hezbollah group and its Amal ally could follow suit at a time when the government is already paralyzed by a dispute over an inquiry into the August 2020 Beirut blast.

Prime Minister Najib Mikati asked Kordahi on Friday evening to consider Lebanon’s "national interest" but stopped short of asking for his resignation.

Kordahi has been publicly backed by Hezbollah and has declined to apologize or resign over the comments.

The crisis risks widening to more Gulf states, with Bahrain also asking Lebanon’s ambassador to leave shortly after the Saudi decision.

The Arab League
...an organization of Arabic-speaking states with 22 member countries and four observers. The League tries to achieve Arab consensus on issues, which usually leaves them doing nothing but a bit of grimacing and mustache cursing...
said in a statement on Saturday it was concerned about the souring of Lebanese-Gulf relations and appealed to Gulf countries "to reflect on the measures proposed to be taken...in order to avoid further negative effects on the collapsing Lebanese economy."

Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit expressed "deep concern and regret over the rapid deterioration in Lebanese-Gulf relations...," the statement said.

Saudi Arabia has also recalled its ambassador to Lebanon for consultations.

Mikati has been hoping to improve ties with Gulf Arab states strained for years because of the influence wielded in Beirut by the Iran-backed Hezbollah.

In April, Saudi Arabia banned all fruit and vegetable imports from Lebanon, blaming an increase in drug smuggling.

The ban added to the economic woes of Lebanon, already in the throes of one of the deepest financial crises in modern times.

Lebanese president Aoun says he wants best relations with Saudis
[ENGLISH.ALARABIYA.NET] Lebanese President Michel Aoun
...president of Leb, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hizbullah...
said on Saturday he wants the best relations with Saudi Arabia
...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman quietly folded that tent in 2016, doing terrible things to the guys running it, and has since been dragging the kingdom into the current century...
after the kingdom summoned its ambassador, expelled Beirut’s envoy and banned Lebanese imports.Aoun’s statement in a tweet followed talks by a ministerial crisis management group aimed at easing a diplomatic rift that stemmed partly from comments by a Lebanese minister criticizing the Saudi-led military intervention in Yemen
...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of...
The Lebanese presidency statement added that Aoun is keen on having the best relations with Saudi Arabia and on strengthening them by signing bilateral deals.

The row over critical comments made by Lebanese Information Minister George Kordahi about the Arab Coalition military intervention in Yemen threw the government into a new crisis amid calls for Kordahi’s resignation.

Kordahi had said that Yemen’s Iran-backed Iran's Houthi sock puppets
...a Zaidi Shia insurgent group operating in Yemen. They have also been referred to as the Believing Youth. Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi is said to be the spiritual leader of the group and most of the military leaders are his relatives. The legitimate Yemeni government has accused the them of having ties to the Iranian government. Honest they did. The group has managed to gain control over all of Saada Governorate and parts of Amran, Al Jawf and Hajjah Governorates. Its slogan is God is Great, Death to America™, Death to Israel, a curse on the Jews They like shooting off... ummm... missiles that they would have us believe they make at home in their basements. On the plus side, they did murder Ali Abdullah Saleh, which was the only way the country was ever going to be rid of him...
s were defending themselves and described the years long war in Yemen as "futile."

Saudi Arabia has affirmed its keenness on the Lebanese citizens residing in the Kingdom, "whom it considers part of the fabric and bond that unites the Saudi people and their Arab brothers residing in the Kingdom," according to the statement issued Friday.

The ministry added that it did not consider that what was said by Kordahi reflected the positions of the Lebanese community residing in the Kingdom.

Russian Su-35s Make First Ever Deployment to northern Syria
[MilitaryWatchMagazine] Russia has deployed a contingent of Su-35 heavyweight air superiority fighters to Qamishli Airport in northeastern Syria, marking the first ever major deployment of Russian fighters to the facility. The airport is very near the positions of Turkish and U.S. forces, which have deployed alongside various auxiliary militia forces to occupy large parts of northern Syria.

Unlike Russia which was given permission by the internationally recognised Syrian government to deploy military assets to Syrian soil, Turkey and the United States are widely seen to be in Syria illegally as they have permission of neither the UN Security Council nor of Damascus.

The deployment comes as Turkey has threatened to escalate its campaign against the Syrian government with the deployment of heavy weapons, after Ankara placed jihadist militant groups in northern Syria under its protection.

The Russian Air Force has frequently intervened on the side of Syrian government forces to intercept Turkish fighters and escort them out of Syrian airspace and to conduct airstrikes against militants backed by Turkey. Su-35s at Qamishli are equipped for air to air combat with R-77 and R-73 air to air missiles.

Turkey’s ability to counter these fighters remains limited, particularly since 2016 when a large portion of its Air Force’s officer corps were arrested following a failed coup attempt, and since it has been unable to purchase modern fighter aircraft after being evicted from the F-35 program.

The Su-35 entered Russian service from 2014 and saw its first ever overseas deployments to Syria in early 2016. This followed deployments of Su-30SM and Su-34 fighters in September 2015, and a few weeks later of Su-27SM3 fighters, all of which are based on the same Flanker airframe as the Su-35 and participated in the initial stages of operations against various Western, Turkish and Qatari-backed Islamist insurgent groups in Syria.
