Afghanistan
Daily Evacuation Brief October 2, 2022
[AfghanDigest] LAST 24 HOURS
  • ANOTHER EXPLOSION IN KABUL – Eyewitnesses reported a sizable explosion in the Khair Khana neighborhood of Kabul on Saturday. The blast was said to have taken place near the Maulana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi High School (Police District 11). Some eyewitnesses were quoted saying they heard a rocket sound before the blast and most saw the students screaming and running away from the sound of the blast. No casualties have been reported and Taliban security forces have cordoned off the area. No group has claimed credit for any attack and it is not clear if the blast was triggered by a terrorist device at this point.

  • TALIBAN WILL TREAT TERRORISTS USING AFGHAN SOIL AS SEDITIONISTS – Zabibullah Mujahid announced on Friday that anyone caught planning or carrying out attacks on other countries from within Afghanistan will be tried for treason in the future. The Taliban have continually claimed that no terror groups (with an external focus) reside in Afghanistan. The statement seems to indicate an acknowledgment that the reverse is true. Whether it has any effect on diminishing future cross-border attacks remains to be seen.

  • IRAN URGES MORE ACTION TO PROTECT SHIITES/MINORITIES – In the wake of the latest bomb attack on a Shiite community in Kabul, Iranian officials took to social media to condemn the attacks and alleged the Taliban was not taking threats to minority religious and ethnic communities seriously enough and urged the de facto regime to do more.

CONFLICT TRACKER
Parwan: A night attack took place on a Taliban military garrison in the Jabal-al-Sraj district. 3 Talib fighters were killed and 1 maimed in the melee. The hit-and-run attack took less than an hour. The base has been a frequent target of both the NRF and AFF since spring.
Badakhshan: A former Talib commander who defected to the NRF is said to have led an assault on a Taliban garrison in the Shahr Buzurg district Friday night. 4 Taliban fighters were reportedly killed and another 4 maimed. Talib commander Gol Murad is said to be among the wounded. No MRF casualties were reported. Fighting continued into Saturday

NEXT 24 HOURS
  • TALIBAN FIGHTERS ARRIVE IN NURISTAN – Two columns of Taliban security forces personnel began arriving in Nuristan to quell a previously reported revolt in two Districts. The convoys were photographed upon arrival but have remained outside of the villages where local inhabitants have seized Taliban administrative offices. One source claimed they seemed to be waiting for something but could not say what that might be. It is possible the Taliban are waiting on a negotiator to arrive and speak with the local inhabitants. Although violence can’t be ruled out, the fact the Taliban have yet to enter the towns suggests that force will

  • THE CENTRAL BANK TO AUCTION DOLLARS – The DAB announced its intentions to auction $10 million dollars on Sunday.

Somalia: Al-Shabaab raids village, kills civilians drilling water well
[Garowe] At least 12 innocent non-combatants were killed by al-Shabaab
...... the Islamic version of the old Somali warlord...
in the Gedo region, an incident which comes amid an ongoing crackdown against the gunnies who control rural areas in central and southern Somalia, in a move that could trigger a further crisis.

Police said the 12 civilians were drilling a well in the drought-hit Gedo region within Jubaland state before al-Shabaab stormed the village and killed them. Somalia is facing the worst drought in as many months according to government reports.

The Friday incident took place in Gariley village between Bardhere and Eelwak districts in the Gedo region, where water well drilling was underway, eyewitnesses said. The gunnies burnt their bodies to ashes, officials added, while confirming that the gunnies also destroyed the equipment.

For 40 years, the country has been tackling the worst drought of all time, with the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
warning that Somalia could be battling famine in the coming months. Gedo region is one of the affected areas and the drought has left dozens of people dead.

Mahmoud Abdel Warsame, the mayor of Gariley, confirmed the corpse count and said security forces also killed six al-Shabaab fighters. The security forces have been combining forces with local militia to fight the al-Shabaab gunnies across the country.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has declared total war against al-Shabaab gunnies and recently, he asked the United States and other partners to support Somali National Army. The al-Shabaab gunnies have in turn activated attacks across Somalia.

The gunnies have been targeting wells and telecommunication infrastructure, a move that has led to the massive destruction of properties worth millions of dollars. The al-Shabaab gunnies also extort local businesses to sustain their activities across the country.

Iranian artillery resumed shelling regions in Iraqi Kurdistan without causing any casualties

Rudaw adds:
Iranian forces on Saturday bombarded Erbil province’s Bradost area, causing fear among residents of nearby villages some of whom have abandoned their houses due to days-long bombardment, a local official said.

Iran’s artillery has recently increased its targeting of Kurdistan Region’s bordering areas of Bradost and Sidakan. The head of Soran Administration told Rudaw on Saturday that the bombardment has been ongoing for more than a week.

"Without any excuses, Iran’s bombardment of Bradost and Sidakan areas has been ongoing for eight days," said Halgurd Sheikh Najib, adding that this has displaced a "large" number of people from these areas and those staying live in fear.

He noted that the area is often bombarded by The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the occupiers of Greek Asia Minor...
as well.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) attacked Kurdistan Region’s Erbil and Sulaimani provinces on Wednesday, targeting the bases of exiled Kurdish opposition groups. At least 16 people were killed and 50 were maimed in the attacks, according to latest figures obtained by Rudaw.

The attacks have displaced about 700 families who have fled Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites....
and lived in a camp in Koya city, according to the mayor.

Police say Palestinian killed after trying to hurl firebomb at cops near Jerusalem
[IsraelTimes] Border Police respond to riot in al-Eizariya and Abu Dis after Paleostinians damage section of West Bank barrier; authorities say Fayez Damdum, 18, tried to attack forces
"He was turning his life around, a future rapper muezzin"
A young Paleostinian man was rubbed out by Israeli police in a West Bank town near Jerusalem on Saturday as he allegedly attempted to hurl Molotov cocktails, Israeli and Paleostinian officials said.

According to the Paleostinian Authority health ministry and media reports, Fayez Damdum, 18, was shot by police in al-Eizariya on the outskirts of East Jerusalem while riding on a cycle of violence.

Earlier, in the adjacent town of Abu Dis, Paleostinians damaged a section of the West Bank security barrier, according to footage published by Paleostinian media outlets.

Police said officers were in the area to respond to a violent mostly peaceful riot, which included Paleostinians hurling bombs, Molotov cocktails and stones at forces.

"During the operation, a suspect who tried to throw a Molotov cocktail at our forces was neutralized with gunfire," a police front man said in a statement.

Damdum was treated by Border Police officers at the scene, footage showed, and then taken by the Paleostinian Red Islamic Thingy to a nearby hospital, where his death was declared.

No officers were reported to have been hurt in the incident.

The incident came as the Israel Defense Forces and police were on heightened alert since last week amid the Jewish holiday season, with tensions already high due to an Israeli anti-terror offensive that has seen over 100 Paleostinians killed and more than 2,000 arrested in nightly raids in the West Bank.

In the pre-dawn hours of Saturday, Paleostinian button men shot up Israeli troops operating near the village of Burqa, and at the settlement of Beit El in a separate incident, the IDF said.

Dozens dead in eastern Iran protests, resembling warzone
[Rudaw] Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have closed all the roads leading in and out of the city of Zahedan in southeast Iran
...The nation is noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence...
as angry protesters burn tires and military helicopters fly overhead, a day after a crackdown on protests there left at least 42 dead and over 200 maimed, Baluchi activist muppets say.

Outside the cop shoppe, located near Makki Grand Mosque in Zahedan, the bucolic provincial capital of Sistan and Baluchestan, security forces opened fire towards unarmed protesters with videos from the scene published by Baluchi activist muppets showing hundreds of people running for cover.

The city resembles a war zone since crowds of angry protesters marched towards a local cop shoppe after Friday prayer, chanting anti-government slogans. Protesters demanded a response from the authorities regarding the case of a 15-year-old girl said to have been sexually assaulted by a police brass hat a month ago, accusing the government of covering up the offense.

Activists said that the death of a young Kurdish woman, Mahsa (Zhina) Amini in Tehran last month also added fuel to protesters' anger.

"We have confirmed the killing of 42 people and 193 maimed by the security forces but the real number is much higher and many maimed are refraining from going to the hospital for fear of arrest," Abdollah Aref the head of human rights
One man's rights are another man's existential threat.
watchdog Baloch Campaign told Rudaw English on Saturday.

He added that most of the fatalities were a result of a lack of medical attention as most families were afraid to admit their maimed relatives to government-owned medical facilities.

Baluchis are a mainly Sunni ethnic minority in Iran, living predominantly in the southeastern Baluchestan region, near the border with Pakistain.

"The city is militarized with drones flying overhead and all the schools and government offices closed. Some have been reported missing but no one knows where they are and if they have been arrested," Aref said.

Videos posted on Twitter by other activist muppets portray a defiant city reluctant to give up, chanting as helicopters flew overhead.

Photos were also published of dozens of people who were reportedly killed or maimed, with severe gunshot wounds, lying on the ground and being attended by other protesters, with no ambulances in sight.

Aref, who resides outside Iran and is in contact with activist muppets and residents of Zahedan said that some activist muppets placed the number of dead at around 100, adding that he could not confirm the figure.

"The internet was patchy yesterday and activist muppets were using VPN to send videos and photos out of the events but last night the authorities switched off the internet," he recounted.

IRGC-affiliated media claimed that protesters used weapons when attacking the cop shoppe - a claim Aref rejects, accusing security forces of forcing people to make false confessions on camera about carrying weapons.

The head of the IRGC intelligence, his deputy, and two other guards were reportedly killed, according to Iran's state media, without any details being provided about how protesters would be capable of killing such bigwigs.

IRGC officials and other members of the Iranian security apparatus adopted a strong position, threatening "rioters." Thousands of people have been arrested, including many women's rights activist muppets, with hundreds maimed and over 80 killed in the two weeks of protests that have engulfed Iran since Amini's death.

Iranians inside the country and across the world have staged protests calling for the overthrowal of the regime in Tehran.

Authorities in Tehran have labeled the protests as foreign intervention aimed at turning Iran into another Syria, adding that Amini had died of a heart attack, and not at the hands of security forces.

Protests however, are showing no sign of subsiding as university students across the country, particularly in the Kurdish areas, are on strike on Saturday.

Security forces rescue Yazidi girl from al-Hol camp
[Rudaw] Security forces in northeast Syria (Rojava) rescued a Yazidi girl from the notorious al-Hol camp which houses Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(ISIS) suspects, local media reported a month after two other Yazidi women were rescued from the facility.

A 15-year-old Yazidi girl was rescued by security forces in the camp, Hawar News Agency (ANHA) cited a Yazidi official as saying, adding that the camp’s administration has confirmed the girl’s rescuing.

The girl is from the village of Solagh in the ethnoreligious community’s heartland of Shingal across the Iraqi border.

North Press Agency (NPA) also confirmed the rescuing, saying the girl was kidnapped by ISIS when she was ten years old in 2014 during their brazen offensive across swathes of northern Iraq, when the terror group seized Shingal and inflicted countless atrocities on the Yazidi minority.

In September, the Kurdish Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) rescued two Yazidi women from al-Hol camp during a weeks-long operation targeting ISIS cells in the squalid facility that saw the arrests of 226 suspects, including 36 women, as well as the confiscation of various weapons and the dismantling of tents used by ISIS cells as courts and torture centers.

ISIS overran the Yazidi heartland of Shingal during their conquest of parts of Iraq and Syria in 2014, committing genocide against the ethnoreligious group. More than 6 thousand Yazidis were kidnapped and thousands remain missing with little done to bring solace to the rescued.

The majority of captives are held in the notorious al-Hol camp, according to data obtained by Rudaw English from Khayri Bozani, former head of the Yazidi affairs at the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) endowment ministry.

Iranian woman arrested for eating breakfast without headscarf
[NYPOST] An Iranian woman was arrested for eating breakfast at a restaurant without a headscarf amid ongoing protests for women’s rights in Iran.

Donya Rad and a friend went viral after images of them eating at the cafe went viral this week online. Coffee shops like the one where the photo was taken are generally patronized by men only in the strict Islamic country.

“After visiting the designated place she was arrested, after a few hours of no news, Donya told me in a short call that she was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison,” her sister told CNN.

The Tehran lockup is known for housing political prisoners.

News of the arrest is the latest evidence of actions by the Iranian regime against its own people in response to two weeks of protests following the death of Mahsa Amini in police custody. Amini, 22, was detained by the country’s notorious “morality police” for allowing some of her hair to show from beneath her hijab. Though Iranian authorities say she died of a heart attack, her family insists she was killed.

IRAN vs. the absents of any LSD/WH official condemnation of the way Iran treats Women and their basic rights. Is yet another example of the LSD's saying one thing and doing another.

Remember Muhammad Obama's / LSD's $400 Million Plane load of 💶, 💷 & 💴. Used most likely in significant ways to fund Global terrorism activities and prop up the Iranian regime and its oppression of the females.

Then Obama/LSD's, then refusing to support the civil rights up raising IRAN had back in June 2010. Are a few examples.
