#2 I worked in the office side of Texas construction for four years, and the safety guys told the new hires, "It'll take two weeks to get used to the heat, then you'll be fine."

But it's hard to acclimate if you spend 80% of your time in the A/C.

#7 I work in Spring TX and today we had a discussion about Texas heat and climate protestors. We reached a consensus that the climate protestors should be glued to the highway near our office, to enjoy our abundant Texas sunshine. We just want to share our wonderful appreciation of natural Texas with them. It's only in the upper 90's and low 100's this coming week.

#9 I remember a Disney movie where the US Calvary imported camels for use in the west. I didn’t see it. I suspect it was mediocre. I am sure that it is way down on the list to reboot and ruin. They will likely be broke before they make it to Pete’s Dragon.
