#4 ...It turns out this guy got a BCD for larceny from the USMC, something he never seems to have told his family about. Says he works for Borg Warner, nobody at this point seems to be able to confirm that. My conclusion - this guy was trying to pull off a scam...and the FSB may have believed that he was what he said he was (a Secret Squirrel of some type), and that therefore he HAD to be a spy.
