I guess the libs doing the handwringing forget that it was their own prohibitions on targeting, ROE, prohibiting military aid, and withdrawing military support that sent Viet Nam down the toilet and basically sent Iraq and A'Stan down the drain also.

I don't think KSA has any of that shit going on, so they have a chance. I also don't think the ~~Soviet Union~~ errr Russia is funding the opposition.
