#1 By an old El Dorado enticed --
The Popemobile hadn't sufficed --
No border is holy
To those who roll lowly:
Now Cisco's the picker of Christ.

#2 Tell you what Pope Francis, you cross the border north, we'll send the army south. After taking Mexico and driving it's people across their southern border, there won't be a US-Mexico border any more. There will just be US and US territory that might eventually become states.

#3 Got anything to say about the drug mules crossing the border, Your Liberationist-ness?

As far as letting uncontrolled migration across other's borders: It's easy to give away hard earned assets to others you think are more deserving when it's not yours.

#4 In that case he should apply for a legal visa, fill it out, send it in, and wait like all the other Immigrants.
If he simply crosses the border he's another illegal *ALIEN*.
Or does he think he's more special than everyone else?

#5 Pontif, you are Ill studied on Doctrine.
It's a very bad thing.

It is not about the "immigrants". It is about how you approach a border when you flee.

Do me a favor and go back and read Genesis.

And shut your liberal shit for a while.
Over step.

#6 OK we had a Nazi Pope that has dementia, that's why they kicked him to the curb. Now we get a Commie Pope. Gettin hard to be a Catholic these days. But I will hang in there and have faith in the Church. All men fail, the Church goes on. That is why it is there.

#7 The Catholic Church has gone the way of many churches. All liberal principles, with no Christian principles. It will die. And you wonder why so many young people around the world join ISIS. Because this idiot Pope is too busy promoting socialism instead of teaching Christian principles about good vs evil.

40 churches burned to the ground in Africa the other day but that is not an issue with this moron.

#8 There are some things the Pope is wonderful on. But on this, he is a dumbfuck South American Jesuit lefty, the kind Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI worked so hard to get rid of.

#12 Evidently he's determined to kill off the Catholic church up here, now that he's fixed all the economic problems where he's from (joke).
They're all going to be evangelicals when this guy's done.

#14 Nothing about the corrupt oligarchies and their practices back home that create the environment that entices 'immigration'? Some lashing on the steps back 'home' would be more in line with what these people need (which is not the product and fruits of the labor of others in a distant land). The man doth confuse Willie Sutton with the 'man'.

#15 Institutions come and go over the span of time like species. Kernels of right and truth span the millennia. Man's relationship with his Creator is a very personal thing.

#16 Luckily we have had 2 very remarkable champions of orthodoxy before this lurching PR disaster arrived. Sometimes God has to remind us Catholics to have faith in Him, not in his apostolic representatives. Bad popes do a good job of this.

#17 This isnt news for anyone who has a sense of the Church and history. Despite the title of Pope, he is, when all is said and done, a Bishop of the Church. Saint Athanasius addressed bad bishops who lead their flock astray nearly 2 millennia ago: The floors of hell are paved with the skulls of bishops.

#19 When 60% of the Mexicans polled want to become US citizens perhaps the Pope should aim his guilt weapons at the Mexican government for awhile. Perhaps they wouldn't all want to cross if the locals down there didn't mistreat them and mismanage the economy.
