Hunter Biden ripped by judge for concealing his money in baby mama showdown
[NYPOST] The Arkansas judge overseeing Hunter Biden’s long-running child support battle with his baby mama chastised the first son’s lawyers Monday for being stingy with his financial data.

Judge Holly Meyer rebuked the 53-year-old’s legal team during the two-hour proceedings, saying they wrongly concealed details of filings that had already been submitted to the court as part of the ongoing legal saga.

"The ability to redact is somewhat being abused," the judge told Hunter’s attorneys before ordering them to refile some of those papers. It wasn’t immediately clear exactly what financial information was included in the filings.

Hunter appeared in a Batesville court as he seeks to reduce his monthly payments for the 4-year-old daughter he fathered with ex-stripper Lunden Roberts.
She earnt enough to cover several years at George Washington University ($60,000+/year for an undergraduate degree) before being impregnated by Mr. Biden and dropping out. Pretty impressive, actually. The child has good genes from her mother, at least.
The Biden scion was required to hand over documents detailing his money situation after he reopened his paternity case last September to try and reduce his $20,000-per-month remittance.

The first son, who has never met his daughter with Roberts, had alleged he experienced a "substantial material change" in his income.

Meyer on Monday ordered Hunter to answer additional written questions about his money — including investments, his art sales and other financial transactions — after Roberts’ attorney Clinton Lancaster claimed he had so far provided "incomplete answers."

Lancaster argued Hunter divulged neither who had purchased his art nor the estimated values of the pieces.

Ron DeSantis-picked board votes to sue Disney in legal battle over Orlando district
[NYPOST] The Florida board tasked with overseeing Disney World’s operations voted unanimously to OK a countersuit against the House of Mouse Monday — after Disney filed a initial claim against Gov. Ron DeSantis last week.

The entertainment giant sued DeSantis and his hand-picked board in Tallahassee federal court in a bid to reestablish control over the Orlando theme park. The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District will defend itself in that suit as well as challenge Disney in Orlando state court.

"This district will seek justice in state court here in central Florida where both it and Disney reside and do business," board chair Martin Garcia said at a Monday meeting. "Yes, we’ll seek justice in our own backyard."

DeSantis initially clashed with Disney after it opposed a bill banning school instruction on gender identity and sexual orientation in kindergarten through the fourth grade. The governor asserted that the material was not appropriate for young children, while critics countered that it was hostile to the LGBTQ community.

DeSantis then sacked members of the board that oversees Disney’s special tax district and replaced them with his political allies, arguing that Florida’s largest employer had to be reined in.

But the outgoing board members quietly ceded their power back to Disney in February to neutralize the remade panel’s influence.

Antony Blinken DENIES orchestrating letter by 51 intelligence officials calling Hunter Biden's laptop disinformation - but still won't say if he thinks the contents are real
  • 'With regard to that letter -it wasn't my idea, I didn't ask for it, didn't solicit it,' Secretary of State Antony Blinken said

  • Former CIA leader Mike Morrell recently testified that an Oct. 17 call with Blinken had 'absolutely' triggered his interest in coordinating the letter

  • Weeks before the 2020 election, the letter claimed the abandoned Hunter Biden laptop had 'all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation'

Congress' unconstitutional pay scam gets members $34K raises
[NYPOST] Washington, DC, needs an emergency supply of snazzy sandwich boards announcing, "Will Legislate for Food."

A hunger crisis on Capitol Hill gave congressional leaders no choice but to trample the Constitution.

Thanks to a backroom deal, House members can now claim automatic reimbursement of $258 a night for lodging expenses and $79 a day for meals in DC — even if they don’t spend a dime.

But though House members can pocket up to $34,000 a year in additional tax dollars, it’s not a pay raise because politicians are entitled to use false labels for everything they do.

There is a pity party in Washington: You weren’t invited, but you’ll pay the bill.

Members of Congress are whining that they receive only $174,000 a year — more than triple the average US salary and higher pay than 93% of Americans pocket.

And it is a part-time job: The House of Representatives will be in session just 117 days this year.

That didn’t stop Rep. Alexandria Boom Boom Ocasio-Cortez
Dem Congressgirl from da Bronx in Noo Yawk and leader of the Mean Girl Caucus in Congress. One of the Great Minds of the 21st Century, she is known as much for her innaleck as for her dance moves. She is all in favor of socialism, even though she's fuzzy on the details. She was the inventor of the Green New Deal, though she doesn't talk about it much anymore...
from moaning that "Congress structures itself to exclude and push out the few working class people who *do* get elected."

Congressional salaries are far higher than average Americans’ pay in part to cover the extra cost of spending time in Washington. But House members wanted more.

After Republicans captured the House majority in November, the Democrat-controlled House Administration Committee rushed through a provision in December to boost members’ pay.

The Hunter Biden Pardon Solution-Brilliant And Utterly Corrupt-Take A Plea And Get Blanket Immunity
[Townhall] The walls are closing in on Hunter Biden if one is to believe some of the recent leaks and reports over the past two weeks.

A senior agent at the IRS has obtained protective, whistle-blower status and will testify that there has been obstruction at the Justice Department holding up the criminal investigation of the president's son.

Additional sources at both the IRS and FBI revealed their frustration that the US Attorney in Delaware hasn't moved forward with charges, even though their investigation was completed more than a year ago.

Plus, we received confirmation of the obvious fact that it was the Biden campaign that orchestrated the infamous letter from 51 so-called Intelligence Community "experts" who claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop was not authentic and was Russian disinformation. In fact, it was now Secretary of State Antony Blinken who arranged the entire fraudulent lie that news organizations used to justify their outright censorship of the damaging story about the younger Biden, as well as the president's brother and "The Big Guy" himself.

However, the most nefarious news related to Hunter Biden emerged mid-week, as we learned the lawyers for the "smartest guy" Joe Biden knows were meeting privately with representatives of the DOJ just a couple of blocks away from the White House.

This would be nefarious because "career tax attorneys" were in attendance, which suggests that a negotiated plea deal may be underway regarding tax evasion crimes – not money laundering, selling access, foreign lobbying, blackmail, bribery, child prostitution, human trafficking, and the multitude of other crimes we've all seen on Hunter's laptop.

The plea deal could come with a sweetheart immunity deal in exchange for Hunter's full cooperation and testimony.

In other words, Hunter gets a slap on the wrist for lesser charges and immunity from the big stuff that would implicate other Biden family members, including, potentially, the president himself.

This would be tantamount to a backdoor pardon. Hunter gets off, and Joe doesn't need to get his hands dirty with the messy political fallout of a pardon. He can even falsely claim that he had "no knowledge of what the Justice Department was up to, they are completely independent, don't ya know!"

Chris Coons Bends Over Backwards to Defend Joe Biden Running for Reelection
[Townhall] Ever since President Joe Biden made his reelection bid official, his fellow Democrats have shamelessly ramping up their defense for the 80-year-old in office who expects the American people to give him another term so that he can "finish the job." Chief among them is Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE), who serves as the co-chair of Biden's campaign.

While on ABC News' "This Week," Coons was confronted from the start by host Martha Raddatz about the president's age. She referenced an NBC poll showing that 51 percent of Democrats polled don't think Biden should run again, his age being a major factor. This was an issue raised in other polls, including from the Associated Press, and even by The New York Times.

Not only did Coons see that as a non-issue, he even lectured viewers on how they should appreciate Biden's age. Speaking about the previous night's White House Correspondents Dinner, Coons offered that Biden "was fast on his feet. He was agile. He had great delivery. You saw the State of the Union Address, nearly an hour and a half. He was faster on his feet than most members of Congress."

Coons only got more insistent from there. "I think Joe Biden is agile, is capable. His record of leadership, both at home and abroad, makes him imminently qualified. And we should be focusing some on the wisdom and experience he brings to the job, in addition to the accomplishments he’s had these first two years," he continued.

Republicans rip Biden for 'false' claims about veterans' aid cuts
[NYPOST] House Republicans have accused the Biden administration of lying to veterans about purported cuts to their benefits concealed in the debt limit bill their conference passed last week.

GOP members, many of whom are veterans themselves, slammed President Biden over the weekend for "politicizing" the Department of Veterans Affairs after the agency put out an April 21 blurb claiming the debt bill would cut funding for veterans’ programs by 22%.

"In my nine years as a member of Congress, I have never seen the use of an agency that is so vitally important to so many people be used as a political hammer, to deliver a message that is false so that it would stir people up to cause our veterans to be used as pawns in a political game," Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.), who chairs the House Veterans Affairs’ Committee, said on a Sunday conference call.

The Limit, Save, Grow Act, which passed the House along party lines April 26, would increase the federal debt ceiling by $1.5 trillion or suspend it until March 31, 2024, whichever comes first.

It would also reduce non-defense discretionary spending to fiscal year 2022 levels and limit the growth of future expenditures to 1% annually over the next 10 years — though no agencies are singled out for spending cuts.

#1  Supposedly we are in imminent danger of defaulting, but controlling spending is somehow not on the table. I would have titled it the Let’s Not Drive Off a Cliff Act or the Thelma and Louise Act.

#2  The standard uniparty response to any slowdown (there is never a cut) in spending is to close fire stations and lay off ambulance drivers while the "stone crabs on LSD" research is not endangered by the fiscal kabuki at all.
