KJP Spends Over A Minute Talking About Texas Shooting Without Once Mentioning Suspect Is Illegal Immigrant
[Daily Caller] White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spent over a minute addressing a shooting that broke out in Cleveland, Texas, at Monday’s briefing without once mentioning the suspected shooter appears to be an illegal immigrant.

Mexican national Francisco Oropesa Perez-Torres,
...previously named merely as Francisco Oropeza...
38, allegedly fatally shot five people, including an 8-year-old, in "execution style" killings Friday. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed to the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF) Monday that the suspected shooter was previously ordered to be removed by an immigration judge on March 16, 2009. (RELATED: Man Accused Of Murdering Five ’Execution Style’ Was Previous-Deported Illegal Immigrant, ICE Says)

Jean-Pierre addressed that the shooter used an AR-15-style rifle in the shooting and that Congress must ban so-called "weapons of war."

"In all, five people were murdered by an individual armed with a powerful AR-15 style rifle," she said. "As the manhunt for the suspected assailant continues, we urge the public to heed all guidance from law enforcement officials and stay safe. Federal law enforcement agencies have been providing assistance and support to local law enforcement as they work to respond to this tragedy and locate the suspect."

The rising conclusion various LE types is, he's likely a cartel 'solado'. No evident job, but paid his rent, nice clothes. Tossed his AR when he left. One person said they saw him stop, reach in his pocket, get out his cell phone, and toss it.
He's probably already made contact with his boss, and they'll either whack him and leave the body where it can be found, or he's over the border.

Man who lost wife, son in Texas massacre called cops 5 times before rampage
[NYPOST] The man who lost his wife and 9-year-old son in a Texas mass shooting called 911 five times before at-large runaway Francisco Oropeza allegedly stormed his house and shot five people to death.

Wilson Garcia recalled at a Sunday night vigil how he and two neighbors had "respectfully" asked Oropeza to stop firing his gun in his yard late at night because his infant child was trying to sleep inside his home in the rural town of Cleveland, kept in touch with the world by Obamaphone,
...was ruled by a Democrat machine from 1942 through 1971. After the river caught fire during the administration of Carl Stokes they tried a Republican, then went back to being Democrats when the party hacked up Dennis Kucinich ...
When the gunman refused to comply, Garcia walked away and called cops five times. Between 10 and 20 minutes later, Garcia said, he saw Oropeza load his AR-style rifle as he ran toward his family’s house.

"I told my wife, ’Get inside. This man has loaded his weapon,’" Garcia said. "My wife told me to go inside because ’He won’t fire at me. I’m a woman.’"
Assuming gallantry not in evidence...
During the massacre as the adult victims tried to protect the children inside the home, Garcia said one of the women demanded he jump out a window to escape the carnage.

The grieving father said the victim told him he needed to survive "because my children were without a mother and one of their parents had to stay alive to take care of them."

Garcia said that even though the gunman tried shooting him, with bullets flying everywhere, he was somehow able to avoid getting hit.

Garcia’s wife, Sonia Guzman, 25, was the first person to be slain in the rampage.

His son Daniel Enrique Laso, 9, was also killed along with Diana Velazquez Alvarado, 21, Julisa Molina Rivera, 31, and Jose Jonathan Casarez, 18, police said. All of the victims were believed to be from Honduras, and they were all shot above the neck, according to officials.

Afghanistan
Taliban hands out university entrance exam forms to female students
[AMUtv] The Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
has distributed university entrance examination forms in a number of provinces for girls who have graduated from 12th grade at school — in a move which some say is an attempt to draw the attention of Doha meeting participants.

In Kabul, a number of female students said they went to their schools on Monday to get the university entrance exam forms.

"We have come to our school today to fill out the form. I want universities to be reopened. Last year, the exams were held but universities were closed for women and they could not continue their education," said Yalda Jasoor, a high school graduate from Kabul.

"I filled out the form today. I had a good feeling today. I was happy. I hope I can succeed in the exam," said Hasiba, a student.

Taliban announced in December 2022 the closure of universities for women. Meanwhile,
...back at the shootout, Butch shot Black Bart's gun out of his hand......
secondary schools for girls have now been closed for over 20 months.

But some women said the move by the Taliban is aimed at getting the attention of participants at the Doha meeting which is being held on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the Afghanistan situation.

"If they were willing to reopen schools and universities, they would have reopened (girls’) schools two years ago and universities at the beginning of the (solar) year but now that the year is nearing an end, they have started distributing the forms. It is because they are trying to get some attention at the Doha meeting," said Asma, a Kabul resident.

Taliban’s education directorate in Nangarhar
The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad. The province was the fief of Younus Khalis after the Soviets departed and one of his sons is the current provincial Taliban commander. Nangarhar is Haqqani country..
said that girls who have graduated from 12th grade in the current solar year will be allowed to write the university entrance exam.

"Girls from schools in cold climate provinces attended the 12th grade exam a few months back and based on the order of the education ministry, they graduated from high school. This year, they were provided with university exam forms," said Farhad Stanekzai, Taliban’s front man for Nangarhar education directorate.

"Those girls who have not attended previous university entrance exams, can get the form even if they are in warm climate provinces," he said.

Sources in Kandahar, Helmand
...an Afghan province populated mostly by Pashtuns, adjacent to Injun country in Pak Balochistan...
, Takhar, Badakhshan, Kunduz and Parwan said that Taliban has "suddenly" informed the relevant departments to allow female high school graduate students to obtain the form.

The Taliban’s decision to ban women from universities and girls from getting an education has been met by harsh criticism from the international community, but the leadership of the Taliban has not revised its decision on the matter.

Africa Horn
A crackdown on irregular migration begins in Djibouti amid Sudan war
[Garowe] Djibouti has announced plans to go for illegal immigrants colonists who have been sneaking into the country, with state media reporting that over 3,000 people have been arrested by the police and are now waiting for deportation to their respective countries once they are established.

Said Nouh Hassan, the country's interior minister, said Djibouti has been "saturated" by an influx of people from neighboring countries, with an estimated 22,000 making entry last year without approval from authorities. This was the highest number in as many years according to authorities.

Djibouti, which has a population of around one million, lies on an often perilous migration route from Africa for people fleeing conflict and climate disasters or seeking a better life. The strategic country is the gateway to the Horn of Africa due to its location near the Red Sea.

In a televised address, the minister insisted that the country has decided to take action to protect the "well-being and safety of its population" and to control the flow of migrants colonists into the country. Djibouti hosts the US Africa Command and is a close ally of both La Belle France and the US.

"The security forces were forced this Sunday... to carry out an emergency operation to combat crime and the trafficking of illicit goods observed in a certain sector of Djibouti city," he said.

The operation, state-run media RTD reported, has seen over 3,000 people detained by the police awaiting actions by the state. The immigrants colonists, he added, will be bundled in trucks and deported back to their countries of origin. "These operations will continue throughout the territory," Hassan said.

For those without work, "we invite them to return immediately and voluntarily to their country of origin", he said. "Illegal immigrants colonists are like a time bomb in Djibouti, there are so many of them," Bilan, a jobless 45-year-old in Djibouti told AFP, declining to give his full name.

Djibouti is a major security partner of the Horn of Africa and the rest of the world given the role the country plays both in the region and across the continent. The country has given illegal immigrants colonists 30 days to surrender to authorities failure to which, they will be traced and deported to their respective countries.

Britain
UK Probing Alleged Afghan Murders by its Soldiers
[ConsortiumNews] Soldiers are ordered to give "maximum engagement" with a new inquiry into claims elite troops executed civilians in Afghanistan, Phil Miller and Richard Norton-Taylor report.

An independent inquiry into allegations British troops unlawfully killed Afghan civilians is gathering pace, its chairman has said.

Lord Justice Charles Haddon-Cave announced at the first public hearing last week that "a growing number of individuals are already coming forward, with significant information."

He said his call for evidence, made at a presser in March, "is already yielding results".

Haddon-Cave has been appointed by Defence Secretary Ben Wallace to probe claims British soldiers executed dozens of civilians and enemy prisoners in Afghanistan between 2010 and 2013.

He will also look into whether the killings "were covered up to prevent what had taken place ever coming to light."

The quality of earlier investigations by the Royal Military Police (RMP) is another area he can review.

Speaking from the Royal Courts of Justice in London, Haddon-Cave commented: "It is clearly important that anyone who has broken the law is referred to the relevant authorities for investigation; and equally, those who have done nothing wrong should rightly have the cloud of suspicion lifted from them."

He added: "This is critical, both for the reputation of the Armed Forces and the country."

’MAXIMUM ENGAGEMENT’
Last week the Chief of the Defence Staff Admiral Radakin told the military community he expected "all relevant individuals in Defence to cooperate proactively with the inquiry" and ordered "maximum engagement."

The Official Secrets Act will be waived for veterans and serving personnel who need to approach the inquiry with relevant information.

A lawyer for the inquiry, Oliver Glasgow KC, outlined encrypted channels through which people could securely provide evidence.

Lawyers for the Saifullah and Noorzai families, who allege eight of their relatives were murdered by the SAS in night raids, were present.

The inquiry was only launched after they brought judicial review proceedings against the MoD, claiming RMP investigations had been inadequate.

Witnesses are expected to appear before the inquiry from October, although some sessions may be held in private to protect national security.

Documents disclosed during the judicial review proceedings suggested the Special Air Service, or SAS, had executed prisoners.

In one email, a British officer described four of the deaths as "latest massacre!" Another soldier expressed concerns to a special forces officer that "a pillow was put over the head of an individual being killed with a pistol."

A special forces commander wrote: "If we don’t believe this, then no one else will and when the next WikiLeaks occurs then we will be dragged down with them."

Two weeks after a Berlin rally in which protesters called for the death of Jews, police in Germany’s capital announced a ban on signs supporting Paleostinian terrorist organizations and on calling for Israel’s destruction during far-left demonstrations on Monday marking May Day.

Citing public safety, instructions posted to the police website on Saturday stressed that "any advertising" for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Paleostine (PFLP) or Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, was banned.

India-Pakistan
Centre blocks 14 apps used for spreading terror in J&K

After getting inputs from intelligence agencies, the Centre has blocked 14 messenger mobile applications that were largely used in Jammu and Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
for spreading terror, sources said.

According to sources, turbans used these mobile applications in Kashmir to communicate with their supporters and Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

"Agencies keep track of channels used by OGWs and turbans to communicate among themselves. While tracking down one of the communications, agencies found that the mobile application does not have representatives in India and it is difficult to track down activities happening on the app," an official said.

Thereafter, with the help of other intelligence agencies operating in Kashmir, a list of such apps was prepared that pose a threat to national security and do not follow Indian laws.

"After getting the list prepared, the concerned ministry was informed of the request to ban these mobile applications. These apps have been blocked under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000," the official added.

In official communications to higher-ups, the intelligence agencies informed that these apps were spreading terror propaganda in Kashmir.

Sources said these apps include Crypviser, Enigma, Safeswiss, Wickrme, Mediafire, Briar, BChat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Element, Second Line, Zangi and Theema.
One India adds:
In a major crackdown, the central government has blocked 14 messenger mobile applications, which were being used by terror groups in Jammu and Kashmir, to spread messages from Pakistan.

The banned apps include Safeswiss, Wickrme, Mediafire, Briar, BChat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Crypviser, Enigma, Element, Second line, Zangi, and Threema.

The government said that these apps were banned under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 because 'they were found to be spreading terror propaganda and inciting youths in Jammu and Kashmir.'

According to reports, the mobile applications were used by terrorists in Pakistan to send coded messages to overground workers and other operatives in the Kashmir valley.

Slight rise observed in militant attacks in April, says PICSS report
[Dawn] The month of April this year witnessed a slight increase in the number of terror incidents , as there were 48 holy warrior attacks, which resulted in 68 deaths and 55 injuries, said a report released by the Pakistain Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS) on Monday.

The previous month saw 39 holy warrior attacks which led to 58 deaths and 73 injuries. There was a 23 per cent increase in holy warrior attacks, a 17 per cent increase in deaths, and a 25 per cent decrease in the number of injured people. Human losses among security forces also witnessed a 35 per cent increase.

The report claimed that security forces responded by increasing their operations against holy warrior groups. Last month, they killed at least 41 holy warriors and arrested 40 others.

Security forces focused their efforts mainly on the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, where they killed 30 holy warriors and arrested 14 others.

"The KP remained the most affected province, with 49pc of the total attacks reported during the month. In KP, the holy warriors carried out 33 attacks which led to 45 deaths, including 23 security forces personnel, 17 holy warriors and five civilians. Thirty-two people were maimed, including 17 personnel of security forces and 10 civilians.

Within KP, 19 holy warrior attacks were reported from the mainland province, while 14 were reported in tribal districts of KP (former Fata)," report said.

Tribal districts saw a 100pc rise in holy warrior attacks. In March, PICSS had recorded seven attacks, while in April, the number increased to 14.

Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
witnessed 13 attacks which caused 21 deaths, including 11 security forces personnel and nine civilians. Twenty-three people were maimed, including 21 civilians and two security forces personnel. Punjab

3.) A province of India. It is majority (60 percent) Sikh and Hindoo (37 percent), which means it has relatively few Moslem riots....

and Sindh witnessed only one attack each in April, the report said.

According to the Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted approximately 70 intelligence-based operations daily. During the first four months of the year, they arrested around 1400 suspected holy warriors and killed more than 188.

Iraq
Iraq foreign ministry issued +10,000 diplomatic passports for non-diplomats, lawmaker says
Good to know.
[Shafaq News] Iraq's ministry of foreign affairs has awarded diplomatic passports to more than 10,000 persons from outside the diplomatic corps in the past four years, politician Sarwa Abdul-Wahid revealed on Monday.

The member of the parliamentary legal committee told Shafaq News Agency that she proceeded with legal action and took the matter to al-Karkh court.

The politician said that a judicial investigation is underway to uncover the circumstances of this alarming issue.

Abdul-Wahid expressed concerns about the huge number of diplomatic passports issued by the ministry over the past four years, indicating that it is highly improbable for Iraq to have such an extensive roster of diplomatic personnel.

"Among those passport holders, at least 10,000 individuals do not have any official connection to either the diplomatic service or the ministry of foreign affairs," she continued.

To address this pressing issue, Abdul Wahid revealed that plans are underway to invite the foreign minister for a discussion on the irregularities surrounding the situation.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Report: Israel got intel on Iran’s secret nuclear weapons program from executed spy
[IsraelTimes] NY Times says UK told Israel about nuclear activity at Fordo based on info from Ali Reza Akbari, who was hanged in January; Russia assisted Tehran in identifying source of leak

Russian intelligence reportedly helped Iran
...a theocratic Shiite state divided among the Medes, the Persians, and the (Arab) Elamites. Formerly a fairly civilized nation ruled by a Shah, it became a victim of Islamic revolution in 1979. The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. The word Iran is a cognate form of Aryan. The abbreviation IRGC is the same idea as Stürmabteilung (or SA). The term Supreme Guide is a the modern version form of either Duce or Führer or maybe both. They hate Jews Zionists Jews. Their economy is based on the production of oil and vitriol...
discover that a dual Iranian-British national who once served as its deputy minister of defense was leaking information about its top-secret nuclear weapons program.

In January, Tehran hanged Ali Reza Akbari over accusations of espionage, an execution that was harshly denounced by the UK and other Western nations.

According to an in-depth New York Times

...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...

report released on Monday, Akbari was indeed a spy and began leaking Iranian nuclear secrets to the British in 2004 — keeping his activities hidden for 15 years.

The report said that in 2008, a senior British intelligence officer told Israeli security officials during a meeting in Tel Aviv that the UK was working with an Iranian spy who had significant information about Tehran’s nuclear activities.

Citing "three Western intelligence and national security officials," the newspaper reported that the UK passed on information from Akbari to Israel about Iran’s nuclear activities at the Fordo site and their ties to the country’s efforts to produce nuclear weapons — information not previously known to Western intelligence officials.

Iran has long denied pursuing a nuclear weapon and says its program is for civilian research purposes, but Western officials believe the country was actively pursuing weapons production until at least the early 2000s.

In 2019, the NY Times report claims, Iran was aided by "Russian intelligence officials" in pinpointing Akbari as the source of the leak about activities at Fordo. The newspaper wrote that it was not clear how Russia had been able to discover this.

Akbari also reportedly turned over the names of around 100 senior Iranian officials to British authorities, including that of Iran’s top nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, who was killed in November 2020 in an attack that Tehran blames on Israel.

Akbari, who ran a private think tank, had not been seen in public since 2019, when he was apparently arrested.

He was executed in January after being sentenced to death for "corruption on earth and harming the country’s internal and external security by passing on intelligence," the website of Iran’s judiciary reported.

Iranian state media reported that the 61-year-old Akbari had held high positions in the country’s defense establishment. His posts included deputy minister of defense for foreign affairs and a position in the secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council. Akbari had also been an adviser to the commander of the navy, as well as heading a division at the defense ministry’s research center.

In videos released by state media following his execution — which Iran touted as a confession and his family said was forced — Akbari said he was recruited by British intelligence in 2004 with the promise of visas for him and his family.

Authorities did not release any details about his trial. Those accused of espionage and other crimes related to national security are usually tried behind closed doors where rights groups say they do not choose their own lawyers and are not allowed to see evidence against them.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said at the time that he was "appalled" by the execution.

"This was a callous and cowardly act carried out by a barbaric regime with no respect for the human rights
...not to be confused with individual rights, mind you...
of their own people," Sunak said in a statement.
