United States Gov't Seeks to Garnish Accounts of Hunter's Pal After Failing to Pay $43,954,416
[Breitbart] The United States government is seeking to garnish funds from Devon Archer’s accounts after he failed to pay $43,954,416.75 upon being convicted of fraud in 2022.

Archer, who is a Biden family business associate and Hunter’s “best friend in business,” remains in legal trouble for failing to pay a $43,954,416.75 judgment to the victims he deceived. In February 2022, the convicted fraudster was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for defrauding a Native American tribal entity.

Prior to his arrest, Archer served in 2014 with Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukraine-based energy company. Archer was photographed in 2014 playing golf with then-Vice President Joe Biden in Southhampton, New York. In 2016, Archer resigned from Burisma’s board after his arrest.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, the United States is applying to the Southern District of New York to grant a writ of garnishment. If the court grants the writ of garnishment, the garnishees will have to withhold the existing funds in Archer’s accounts. Until the case is resolved, the funds in Archer’s accounts are frozen.

Archer will have the opportunity to defend himself before the case is decided before the court. That hearing is scheduled for May 9 at the Thurgood Marshall United States Courthouse in Manhattan, according to the court’s calendar.

Archer has been by Hunter’s side for decades. They attended Yale together in the late 1990s. Archer went on to become the vice chairman of finance for John Kerry’s failed 2004 presidential campaign, where he connected with his college classmate Chris Heinz, Kerry’s stepson and another Biden family business partner. Archer was an intricate member of the Biden family business. Some of his largest deals were conducted with Bohai Harvest, an entity controlled by Chinese state-owned interests.

In 2019, Hunter told Archer he was a part of the Biden family and the price of power was being persecuted.

“Every great family is persecuted prosecuted in the US — you are part of a great family — not a side show not deserted by them even in your darkest moments,” he said. “That’s the way Bidens are different and you are a Biden. It’s the price of power.”

Biden's Classified Documents Still Smoldering
[Epoch Times] The White House’s narrative on President Joe Biden’s handling of classified documents is being undermined by the congressional testimony of Biden’s former executive assistant, Kathy Chung, according to House Oversight Committee Chair, James Comer (R-Ky.)

Comer released a statement on April 4, saying that Chung provided "startling information that undermines the Biden White House’s narrative on the matter" when she appeared before the panel for a transcribed interview.

"Today we learned that when Joe Biden left the vice presidency, boxes containing classified documents, vice presidential records, and other items were stored in three different locations around the Washington, D.C. area, including an office near the White House, an office in Chinatown, and eventually the Penn Biden Center," Comer said.
On the other hand -
However, Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), ranking member on the House Oversight Committee, gave a different account of Chung’s testimony, saying that she didn’t know about the classified documents at the Penn Biden Center until November last year.

"Prior to today’s voluntary transcribed interview, Committee Republicans knowingly misrepresented Ms. Chung’s role with then-Vice President Biden and promoted a baseless, outrageous, and racist conspiracy theory about her, all in order to create a mirage of fake evidence for their empty attacks on President Biden," Rasksin said.
Before today's interview? Then you accept the content of today's interview?

Lemme get this straight. Joe was responsible for classified documents that somehow ended up in Chinatown and Penn Biden Center, which was funded with money from China, but I'm a racist for suspecting Joe is compromised?

Tennessee House Expels Two Democrats Who Led Floor Protest Against Guns
[PJMedia] Tennessee House Republicans made good on their threat to expel two of three Democrats who interrupted the legislative session after making their way to the front of the chamber and using a bullhorn to lead anti-gun chants with the gallery.

It was an unprecedented violation of House rules that Republicans say needed to be punished with the most severe penalty possible to discourage other members from following suit.

Reps. Justin Jones and Justin Pearson were ousted on a party-line vote while a third member, Rep. Gloria Johnson, survived her expulsion vote. Both Pearson and Jones are black while Johnson is white, allowing Democrats to claim that racism was the reason for the members being kicked out. Johnson wasn’t expelled because she wasn’t using a bullhorn when leading chants with the gallery.

Ironically, the two Democrats are likely to be back at work next week. Under Tennessee law, county commissioners will appoint temporary replacements until a special election can be held and are likely to be named. Both expelled legislators are eligible to run in the special election as well.

Associated Press:

Thousands of people flocked to the Capitol to support Jones, Pearson and Johnson on Thursday, cheering and chanting outside the House chamber loudly enough to drown out the proceedings.

The trio held hands as they walked onto the floor and Pearson raised a fist during the Pledge of Allegiance.

Offered a chance to defend himself before the vote, Jones said the GOP responded to the shooting with a different kind of attack.

“We called for you all to ban assault weapons, and you respond with an assault on democracy,” he said.

Fauci Inks Deal With New Italian 'Anti-Pandemic' Bio Lab
[ZeroHedge] “American immunologist Anthony Fauci has agreed to act in an informal capacity as a strategic advisor to Rino Rappuoli, scientific director of the Biotecnopolo biotech hub in Siena, an institution founded by the Ministries of the University, Health, Economy and Industry with the aim of focusing on applied research in biotechnologies and life sciences, the Fondazione Biotecnopolo announced this week,” reported Italy’s ANSA news wire service.

Flying under the innocuous moniker Biotecnopolo, officials described the lab as “an anti-pandemic hub with a particular focus on the development and production of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of emerging epidemic-pandemic pathologies.” The lab has already received copious funding upwards of hundreds of million Euros from Rome.

Fauci came under considerable fire for his links to gain-of-function research through the cutout group EcoHealth Alliance, which ultimately had direct links to China’s Wuhan lab, where a growing amount of evidence indicated the COVID virus originated.

Government Corruption
DeKalb County Officials Skirted Georgia Law To Acquire Funds From Left-Wing Dark Money Elections Group
[The Federalist] A series of communication records obtained by The Federalist reveal how high-ranking DeKalb County officials worked behind the scenes to skirt Georgia law by accepting grant money from a coalition of left-wing nonprofits designed to influence election operations in a manner election integrity advocates say benefit Democrats.

In February, DeKalb County — one of Georgia’s most populous localities and a Democrat stronghold — announced it had been selected to join the U.S. Alliance for Election Excellence and that the county’s commissioners had accepted a $2 million grant from the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL). Launched last year, the Alliance is an $80 million venture by left-wing nonprofits to "systematically influence every aspect of election administration" and advance Democrat-backed voting policies in local election offices, according to the Honest Elections Project.

While Georgia Republicans passed a law in March 2021 banning the private funding of local election offices, DeKalb officials used a loophole in the statute to justify accepting the grant from the Alliance. Instead of having their election office accept the funds, DeKalb officials had the county’s finance department apply for the grant. As Democrat and DeKalb Board of Registration and Elections Chair Dele Lowman Smith admitted, this was done "since election offices are not allowed to receive grants directly."

Obtained via an open records request, the emails reviewed by The Federalist show DeKalb officials attempting to acquire private funds from the Alliance nearly a year before the county revealed its membership with the coalition to the public. According to the records, DeKalb’s deputy finance director Preston Stephens received an email on April 12, 2022, from CTCL announcing the launch of the Alliance. Stephens ultimately received an application to join the coalition nearly a month later on May 4.

The initial communications between DeKalb County and CTCL indicate that Stephens served as a primary contact for the nonprofit, with emails dating back several years. Ahead of the Jan. 5, 2021, Georgia Senate runoff election, for example, Stephens submitted a "funding request" to CTCL on Dec. 24, 2020, for "’On‐the‐Ground Tech Support’ to be utilized by [the DeKalb County] Voter Registration & Elections" board. Stephens would continue to receive newsletter emails from CTCL well into September and October 2021 — several months after Georgia passed its ban on private election funding.

It is Alleged At Least 40 Undercover Sources in Jan 6 Festivities-8 FBI, 19 DHS, Balance MPD
[DailyCaller] Law enforcement agencies had at least 40 undercover informants engaging in surveillance work among defendants on Jan. 6, defendant Dominic Pezzola’s lawyer Roger Roots said Wednesday.

A Proud Boys member, Pezzola is currently standing federal trial in Washington, D.C. with the group’s former national chairman Enrique Tarrio and members Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl for allegedly conspiring to oppose the Jan. 2021 transfer of presidential power and related charges. The government admitted Tuesday that eight FBI confidential human sources were embedded among the Proud Boys on Jan. 6, Roots reported in a Wednesday court filing, saying the Homeland Security Investigations (HIS) agency appears to have had some 19 informants active at the time.

At least 13 undercover plain-clothes DC Metro Police (MPD) agents worked among Jan. 6 defendants that day, Roots said. He reported that federal prosecutors revealed information involving twelve of the officers on Friday.

“Some of these undercover Metro officers marched with the Proud Boy march,” Roots said. “And some appear to have played roles of instigators, in that they are seen on body-worn videos chanting ‘Go! Go!,’ ‘Stop the Steal!,’ and ‘Whose house? Our house!’ on Jan. 6. Others generally followed demonstrators toward the Capitol.”

“When added to the 8 FBI CHSs now acknowledged by the prosecutors, this means that there were at least 40 undercover informants or agents doing surveillance among defendants on January 6,” he concluded.

Roots asked the court to make the government “reveal all informants, undercover operatives and other confidential human sources relating to the events of January 6,” arguing that the HIS informants and their likely conduct could “almost certainly” help exonerate Pezzola. He said the defense would have been “much more aggressive” in the trial originally if they knew “the scope and scale” of Jan. 6 undercover government operations.

Roots had motioned Friday for permission to issue a subpoena for Jan. 6 rioter Ray Epps, who has been accused of being an FBI informant, though Epps and others have vehemently denied this. The attorney argued Epps “is being suspiciously protected from prosecution by the government,” and the Friday motion referenced Jan. 6 defendant William Pope‘s claims that undercover MPD officers were instigating the Jan. 6 crowd from within to storm the Capitol.

The government revealed to the defense on March 22 that a woman that Tarrio’s defense intended to call as a witness had been an FBI confidential human source from April 2021 to January 2023. Judge Timothy Kelly Kelly ruled March 27 that defense lawyers could not raise the woman’s FBI relationship in the trial, and Tarrio’s attorney Sabino Jauregui subsequently said he would not call her to testify, according to Lawfare’s Robert Parloff.
