'Top Men' Waffle on Banning Travel from Hot Zone
(Reuters) - President Barack Obama said he was considering appointing an Ebola "czar" to coordinate the fight against the virus in the United States, but he remained opposed to a ban on travel from West Africa....Obama said experts have told him "a flat-out travel ban is not the way to go" because current screening measures at airports are working.

He said he had no philosophical objection to a travel ban but that some travelers might attempt to enter the United States by avoiding screening measures, which could lead to more Ebola cases, not fewer.
WTF?
Jamaica announced an immediate travel ban on Thursday. South America's Guyana said it has denied entry to citizens from four Ebola-hit West African nations during the past five weeks.

U.S. Federal Aviation Administration chief Michael Huerta told reporters separately that the government was assessing whether to issue a travel ban "on a day-to-day basis."
...
Frieden argued, as he has before, that closing U.S. borders would not work and would leave the country less able to track people with Ebola entering. Moreover, cutting flights to Africa would hit the U.S. ability to stop the virus at its source, he said.
Another attempt to prevent any discussion of the core of the issue -- continuing to allow nonessential travel from the Hot Zone into the USA. Banning this nonessential travel does not amount to 'closing U.S. borders, nor to 'cutting flights to Africa'.

#2  Biden, 44, made the decision to join the military late in life. According to the Wall Street Journal, Biden was commissioned as an ensign in the Navy Reserve in 2013 after deciding the previous year to join the service as a public affairs officer.

Joining the military at age 44? Where is the cutoff, or do different rules apply for our betters? Obviously he didn't sign up to fight the... 'war on drugs.'

#8  Hunter Biden actually received two waivers to join the Navy Reserve. One for his age,the other for a long ago drug offense.

Maybe they should have thought a little bit more about the drug waiver.

Little Biden must be exceptionally stupid (apparently it runs in the family). When I was in the Navy Reserve 20+ years ago, we were subject to "random" drug tests every month on our weekend drill. Hunter should have known this. He still used coke. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

Serves his stupid ass right.

Obama Names Ebola Czar To Throw Under the Bus
[FoxNews] Responding to growing calls to appoint an "Ebola czar" to lead America's battle against the deadly virus, sources confirm to Fox News that President Obama plans to name Ron Klain, a longtime political hand with no apparent medical or health care background.

He did, however, serve as chief of staff to Al Gore and later Vice President Biden.
With the DHS expediting visas from African Ebola states to beef up the Dem vote with foreign nationals in the US, this will distract from the deadly back room deals with those states will have on the hated American citizens.

"Klain will report to both White House homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco and National Security Advisor Susan Rice, according to a White House official.

A former chief of staff to Vice President Joe Biden and also to then-Vice President Al Gore, Klain is currently President of Case Holdings and General Counsel of Revolution, an investment group. He has clerked for the U.S. Supreme Court and headed up Gore's effort during the 2000 Florida recount and was portrayed in the HBO movie Recount by Kevin Spacey."

#8  It gets better:

Mr. Klain, a former chief of staff for Vice Presidents Al Gore and Joseph R. Biden Jr., is known for his ability to handle high-stakes and fast-moving political challenges.

Mr. Klain is uniquely positioned to help Mr. Obama counter such questions and rein in a story that has sometimes seemed to spiral out of the White House’s control, said one Democratic operative.

“He’ll control the message better than most people would, which is really important from an economic standpoint, from a health standpoint, but it’s also important from a political perspective,” the operative said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Obama Calls For A Medical 'Swat Team' To Fight Ebola
[BREITBART] President Barack Obama
I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody...
called for monitoring the spread of the Ebola virus "in a much more aggressive way" after a top-level White House meeting.

He directed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to organize and send what he referred to as a medical "SWAT team" within 24 hours of a diagnosis.

#5  Still a bit vague in Texas, from Dallas Morning News:
TEXAS HEALTH WORKERS ORDERED TO STAY HOME
A judge says dozens of hospital employees who had contact with the man who died of Ebola are being asked to sign legal documents agreeing not to go to public places or use mass transit.

Signing a document is not the same thing as a legally binding order - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but this doesn't say.
In the bad old days of smallpox and diphtheria epidemics, local officials had no qualms about issuing legally binding notices & nailing posters on people's front doors while posting law enforcement personnel nearby.

New York Daily News Blasts Obama: 'For God's Sake, Get A Grip'
[BREITBART] The leftwing New York Daily News blasted President B.O. on its cover Thursday morning. Referring to the federal government's appallingly incompetent response to the American Ebola outbreak, the front page headline next to the president's photo read, "For God's Sake, Get a Grip."
He has one but Tiger keeps trying to change it...
After three weeks of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) happy talking its Ebola preparedness and wrist-flicking the potential threat, 3 people in America have been infected with Ebola, two nurses and the man they cared for -- who died last week.

We have also learned that the second nurse stricken with the deadly disease flew on a commercial airliner with 130-plus other passengers the day before she was diagnosed, and did so with the CDC's permission.

Arrogance and incompetence have so far defined the federal government's Ebola response. Wednesday President B.O. canceled a fundraiser to reassure the public he was in charge. After the IRS
...the Internal Revenue Service; that office of the United States government that collects taxes and persecutes the regime's political enemies...
, NSA, VA and ObamaCare launch, it's doubtful that will ease many minds.

Home Front: WoT
Obama defines US as "Muslim Country"
[JERUSALEMONLINE] A few days ago President B.O., in an interview he gave La Belle France's Canal+ TV Channel, said that the American people need to be better educated about Islam, since US could and should be regarded as a Moslem country. He said that the number of Moslems residing in the US makes it "one of the biggest Moslem nations".
Don't he wish!
In reality the US has one of the smallest percentages of Moslems of any Western country. The number of Moslems in the US is approximately 4.5 million, 1.5% of the population, one of the smallest minorities in the US. Since there are approximately 1.5 billion Moslems in the world, the number of Moslems in the US is approximately 0.3% of the world Moslem population. By comparison there are between approximately 6 million Jews in the US, who account for approximately a third of the world's Jewish population. Whereas many Americans regard it as a society based on "Judeo-Christian values", it is doubtful if there is one sane American who would define it as a Jewish country.

By President B.O.'s yardstick, La Belle France, Germany, the UK, Spain, Italia and Holland should all be regarded as "Moslem nations". In La Belle France, which has the biggest Moslem population in Europe, its 4.5 - 5 million Moslems account for 7.5% of the population. In most other Western European countries, Moslems account for approximately 3%-5% of the population.

#15  He see's the world as he wishes it to be and through his skewed optic, but he is actually right concidering he is not talking you you! He is talking to his base. He suffers from this delusion in all areas and for his base life is better, for the majority of Americans, he could f%&king care less about and is not talking to you. The economy is better than its ever been, If you are a career welfare recipient-he's right. The world is a safer place than when Bush was in office, if you a Muslim extremist-he's right. Obamacare is helping millions, again welfare recipients, not the paying middle class. So for him to say America is a Muslim nation, he is again right, we have a muslim president in charge of the most powerful nation on earth.
