-Lurid Crime Tales-
Woof - a Year Probation and They're Still Saying Ray Epps Wasn't a Fed?
[Hot Air] ’Scuse me as I readjust my conspiracy hat here. The back strap’s gotten so stretched it was starting to slip, and I definitely need the thing snugged down to digest the rest of this bit of news.

And, yes, the Daily Mail seems to be caught in a bit of an epic understatement when they tentatively posit about the severity of Mr. Epps’ sentence.

Ray Epps, the January 6 protestor who was famously caught on video instructing people to go into the Capitol building, has been sentenced to one year of probation.

His sentence will also include a $500 restitution payment, and 100 hours of community service.

Epps’ sentence seems to be comparatively light in relation to those received by other January 6 defendants, who have on average received several years in prison as punishment.

Sorry, that would be a 'NO SALE.'

#1  They are playing lawyer word games and/or lying. Epps is/was a contractor, paid informant or receiving money from an NGO like the many Soros front groups. When this is finally ironed out, we will discover that he didn’t have a government ID, so they will say he is not a fed. Colloquially a paid informant is a Fed, but they will hide behind that technicality. Epps will not sue anyone for defamation fearing discovery except a group like FOX that will pay him as they are essentially a cash register for Black Rock in regard to liberal payoffs.

-Great Cultural Revolution
Why Gen Z Is Ditching The Girlboss For The Tradwife
[Federalist] Hannah Neeleman, a Utah-based cattle farmer and mother of eight, is perhaps the most popular Instagram "tradwife" — a growing category of social media influencers who reject the not-so-traditional 9-to-5 workforce in favor of homeschooling their children, homemaking, or running a family business. Though her content is entirely wholesome, she (and other tradwife accounts) are not without controversy.

In the case of Ballerina Farm, followers recently uncovered that Daniel Neeleman, Hannah’s husband, is the son of the founder and former CEO of JetBlue, whose estimated net worth is $400 million.

Her kitchen stove, prominently featured in many of Hannah’s videos where she bakes sourdough bread, farm-raised beef, and other dishes, costs a minimum of $20,000. For those who laud their simple lifestyle as cattle farmers, many felt blindsided by the wealth enabling their smooth transition to homesteading. After all, starting a farm requires many high-cost purchases on the front end from the land, equipment, and animals, forcing many farmers into perpetual debt.

#5  At one end of the spectrum, a tradwife is the ultimate trophy wife. At the other end of the spectrum, she maximizes value for the family as a whole instead of maximizing her own earning potential. But at both ends it’s best done when the stay-at-home spouse thinks deeply and broadly about how she (or sometimes he) uses her time to be most efficient and effective, exactly as the academic field of home economics — reapplying the learnings from Gilbreth, et al in industrial optimization — was originally intended. Not all women can be happy choosing this career, any more than all women can be successful in the work world.

Frilly aprons, high heels, and pearls are fringe benefits, not requirements.

#8  ^#5: I've heard some say the women of old were responsible for the accumulation of what was called "social capital" and said capital is now diminishing b/c women won't/can't do it now b/c it gets in the way of careers. The women of old taught their children the 10 Commandments, and that's not the case as much as before. Now we have abortion, broken homes due to fatherlessness, other novel social ills.

Sure seems to me, growing up w/ talk of men being called male chauvinist pigs, shows like "All in the Family", and other bad stuff from the 70s, ladies today are getting what they (or more properly, their feminine ancestors) asked for, and they are now exhibiting the masculine behaviors that were once lamented.

#9  The problem lies in "the movement," not the individual. If a woman wants a non-trad life, hey, that's what America is all about, her right to choose. When "the movement" demands that all women fall in line, all men like it or lump it and gummint club people into validating "the movement'" priorities, it all goes to shit.

#11  The problem lies in "the movement," not the individual.

M. Murcek nailed it. My family and I are much happier that I retired to take care of the homefront, leaving the work world to Mr. Wife. My mother, on the other hand, was miserable even with a daily cleaning lady and a weekly laundress to handle the output of four little ones; we were all much happier when she concentrated on her career as an occupational therapist — with a side gig in research and teaching — sharing the parenting with my father in the evenings and managing the housework only from a distance.

I know women who were engineers and business managers, then happily turned their organizational and managerial skills to running their households (and the PTA and many other good works), and other women who’d had to return to careers when their husbands became unable to support the family, or it turned out the wives could earn more.

One Size Fits All invariably pinches some and swamps others.

#12  Tradwife does not mean trophy wife, or so I think. Its that hated, "stay at home" wife thing. Single family earner and a stable family. If that trophy I'll take it! Its hard work, financial sacrifice, and a solid family for the kids!

Jewish Tunnels In NYC Repurposed To House Illegal Immigrants
[BEE] NEW YORK, NY — New York Mayor Eric Adams has scrapped his plans to close newly uncovered tunnels beneath the Chabad-Lubavitch synagogue after realizing how many illegal immigrants he could hold down there.

"The startling discovery of these Jewish tunnels couldn't have come at a better time for us, honestly," said the Mayor to the press. "According to our estimates, we can comfortably house at least 300 immigrants down there. Thanks, Jews!"

Leaders of the Jewish community center have protested the move by city authorities. "Oy vey! These tunnels are our property, and are only to be used for top-secret Jew stuff," said one Rabbi from the synagogue. "We demand the return of these tunnels to their rightful owners."

Other locals celebrated the move, however, saying the use of the tunnels will keep migrants from using their school buildings and local hotels, at least until 83 more buses arrive this afternoon.

At publishing time, the Mayor had ordered local Orthodox Jews to please dig faster as the tunnel was already filling up.

A number of factors contribute to obesity. Willpower is one of them and that is about the brain. Genetics is another factor. The way the digestion system reacts to various toxins in yet another. The use of complex manmade compounds in flavoring is yet another.

X Confirms 'Bitcoin ETF' Breach Was Not Of Any Of Its Systems, SEC Failed To Use 2-Factor Authentication On Phone
[ZeroHedge] With fingers being pointed and blame being apportioned for the SEC screw-up, X's Safety team have provided a rather awkward statement on the results of their probe of the breach.

We can confirm that the account @SECGov was compromised and we have completed a preliminary investigation.

Based on our investigation, the compromise was not due to any breach of X’s systems, but rather due to an unidentified individual obtaining control over a phone number associated with the @SECGov account through a third party.

We can also confirm that the account did not have two-factor authentication enabled at the time the account was compromised.

We encourage all users to enable this extra layer of security.

And there it is, just as the mainstream establishment would have loved to blame Elon Musk, or X, it turns out the world's leading securities regulator was incapable of utilizing two-factor authentication on an account that by all standards can be extremely market-moving in its capabilities.

Of course, these FACTS did not stop 'journalists' running with the narrative that it's all Elon's fault...

Poland's Obstruction In Nord Stream Pipeline Probe Raises Alarm For Investigators
Lots of allegations, apparently no solid evidence thus far.
[ZeroHedge] At this point, one might be forgiven for thinking that the Nord Stream pipelines sabotage is already ancient history. After all, mainstream media and prime time TV news coverage has by and large 'moved on' as soon as it became clear that Russia had nothing to do with it.

At this point, the consensus even among Moscow's vehement enemies is that the September 26, 2022 series of blasts which disabled the Russia to Germany NS-1 and NS-2 natural gas pipelines had Ukrainian and/or Western involvement. While MSM sources have favored the theory that it was a mystery group of pro-Ukraine operatives on a small yacht, legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has reported that it was a CIA and US Navy special operation with help from Norwegian intelligence services.

Since then, the ongoing investigation by Germany, Denmark and Sweden into the details of what happened has continued to yield very interesting, incremental developments. The latest was revealed in a Wall Street Journal report this week, and involves apparent Polish obstruction of the probe, which has been deemed by officials to be highly suspicious.

Reports WSJ, "Polish officials have resisted cooperating with an international probe into the sabotage of the Nord Stream natural-gas pipelines and failed to disclose potentially crucial evidence, according to European investigators working on the case."

Cover-up?... you don't say:

Those Polish officials have been slow to provide information and withheld key evidence about the alleged saboteurs’ movements on Polish soil, investigators said. They are now hoping the new government in Warsaw, which took office in December, will help shed light on the attack.

European investigators have long believed the attack was launched from Ukraine via Poland. But they say Warsaw’s failure to fully cooperate has made it hard to establish whether the attack happened with or without the former Polish government’s knowledge, according to senior officials.

And further, "Some senior European officials say they are considering approaching the office of Donald Tusk, Poland’s new prime minister, for help in investigating the biggest act of sabotage on the European continent since World War II."

According to more from the report:

Investigators haven’t offered evidence linking the Polish government to the explosions and say that even if some Polish officials were involved, it could have been without the knowledge of the political leadership. Yet they say efforts by Polish officials to hinder their investigation have made them increasingly suspicious of Warsaw’s role and motives.

Government Corruption
At Chicago's O'Hare passenger terminal update
[American Thinker] With an endless stream of illegals, Americans are coming to realize why they can't have nice things.

Libs of TikTok found this going on at Chicago's famed O'Hare Airport, one of the country's largest and busiest:

Obviously, they ran out of space but the illegals kept coming, and are still coming. Rather than tell them to go pay for their own hotel rooms, the sanctuary city of Chicago keeps letting them in, and the result is inevitable, the space set for them in the airport (which was a really bad idea to start with) fills up, and as more come, they then spill over into the passenger waiting areas, setting up their tents and quasi villages in areas where passengers must wait for their flights.

That's a public space, and now the passengers who need that space, to either walk or sit down, can't use it, not easily, as they wait for their flights, or move about the vast airport to make their connections, dragging crying children, heavy suitcases, and carry-on bags, attempting to read the signs and overhead screens, while stepping over an illegals encampment. I'd be curious to see the crime statistics now that this is the state of traveling through the main airport of Chicago.

Seems the code inspectors who would normally stop this sort of thing as a fire-safety hazard or sanitation risk or zoning violation, have left the room. One set of laws for us, another set for them.

It's the same phenomenon New Yorker are observing as illegals flood their city, first seeing the hotel rooms filling up, and now the schools being taken over, forcing children into Zoom classes and online learning again, as if the pandemic were back.

Let's come to an agreement: the West asks Russia to complete the Northern Military District in 2024
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Kirill Strelnikov

[RIA] Despite numerous letters addressed to Santa Claus, the New Year did not bring either the West or Ukraine new happiness, money and health, but rather the opposite: having finished off the reserves of totalitarian Olivier, the Russian army began to iron out the remnants of Ukraine with a vengeance, almost every day equaling land next to military and military-industrial facilities.

Each new red cross on the map became the source of numerous publications in the Western media, which for some reason suddenly forgot about the gas station torn to shreds, the total isolation and began to sing mournful memorial songs: then Sky News writes that “The Russian army is wiping it off the face of the earth with one blow.” enterprises of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex that have been created for a long time,” then The New York Times complains that “the Ukrainian army is suffering heavy losses due to Russian glide bombs and drones,” then news appears that “Ukraine was attacked for the first time by a jet version of the Geranium drone “, which flew to the middle of the country at a speed of more than 500 kilometers per hour,” while the new “Geraniums” are invisible at night and practically do not cause “flares” on Ukrainian radars.

Also, contrary to custom, the luminaries of Western truth did not rush headlong to refute the information of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who yesterday at a conference call reported that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces over the past year exceeded 215 thousand people and 28 thousand weapons - which means that cover there's nothing here.

Simultaneously with the disappearance of Russian drones from Western radars, solemn promises to show the Russians Kuzkin’s mother with the help of the world’s best Abrams tanks and F-16 fighters, the first of which are bashfully hiding somewhere in the rear, and the second are learning to fly, have also disappeared. five Ukrainian pilots.

Instead, a characteristic trend began to appear in the Western information field, unthinkable just six months ago.

For some mystical reason (not really), information leaks began to appear with enviable regularity that further prolongation of the conflict was harmful to Ukraine. For example, Time magazine wrote that “within this year, Ukraine could lose significant territory and be effectively divided into parts.” The brave French in the publication Le Point went even further: “By April 2024, Ukraine will lose access to the Black Sea when the Russian army takes control of Odessa and Kharkov.”

In general, such scenarios could be a revelation for anyone, but not for Russia, if they were not coupled with the persistent message that 2024 should be the year the conflict in Ukraine ends, and that the conflict should end at the negotiating table It turns out that Putin is obliged (sic!) to everyone’s pleasure.

A remarkable example: the US National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby said with a blue eye that “we would all like to see this war end immediately. But in the end, the one who has to take the first step is Putin, but the Russian president I haven’t done anything like that yet.”

This statement is so sweet that you want to cry and believe that kind and cheerful people live in the White House.

But if you lightly scratch any talking head of the USA or NATO with your finger, then there, in the muddy toxic slurry, is the logic from the movie “Alien” splashing around.

In particular, Putin’s kind and peaceful step, which the entire free Western world is waiting for, should, at a maximum, mean the complete withdrawal of Russian troops to the borders of 2014, and at a minimum, everything should be frozen as it is “on the ground.” In both cases, Ukraine becomes a member of NATO, and “this is not discussed.”

The West is so confident that we will kiss their hands for such generous offers that they are in all seriousness sending “goodwill signals” to Russia. For example, Bloomberg, citing US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, reported that “the United States has not yet made a decision to confiscate the sovereign assets of the Russian Federation for their subsequent transfer to Ukraine.” But they could! Or something even better: in an interview with CNBC, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) analyst Mario Bikarski noted as a matter of course that “of course, now Ukraine does not want to negotiate, <...> but, based on the current circumstances, it will have no other choice, except to obey." In other words, look, we will force Ukraine to sign any piece of paper - that’s how far we will go to meet you - and you?

But the true reasons for the attraction of unprecedented generosity were unwittingly revealed by Politico in a recent article . In particular, on condition of anonymity, a member of the US Congress told the publication that among the ruling elite of the United States, peace negotiations are already being discussed in full swing, because time is against Ukraine. The best solution is to end the conflict with minimal losses and publicly declare a “partial victory” to help Biden get re-elected.

The reasons are simple: the United States and NATO are obviously suffering defeat in Ukraine, there is no strength or means to turn the conflict around, a loss in Ukraine will most likely cost Biden the presidency, and the only chance to save face and office is to talk out the dense Russians in the style of thimblemakers to agreements that are unfavorable for them (which, by the way, the Americans and Europeans will not even think of observing).

What can you answer to the gentlemen Americans and other Europeans who so highly value the intellectual and moral qualities of the Russian leadership and know so deeply the true reasons for the start of the SVO?

Let’s skip the expressions that are indecent in polite society and say: thank you very much for your suggestions, but the goals and objectives of the SVO remain the same. We are ready for negotiations, but only the conditions for the complete surrender of the Kyiv regime can be discussed at the negotiating table.

And if anyone does not understand Russian, then our shells and missiles will be clearly explained to the smartest.

Which, as was reliably known a year ago, will last for a maximum of a couple of days.

Chris Christie Suspends Campaign To Spend More Time With Family-Sized 12-Piece Chicken Meal From KFC
[BEE] U.S. — The political world is reeling this afternoon after Republican favorite and frontrunner Chris Christie announced he will be suspending his campaign to run for president. The beloved conservative populist cited his desire to spend more time with his family-sized 12-piece chicken meal from KFC.

"I know Americans were dying to vote for me," said the former primary candidate, "but I can't continue to neglect my beloved family-sized 12-piece chicken meal from KFC. I need to get my priorities back where they need to be. I ask that you give me and my family-sized 12-piece chicken meal from KFC our privacy at this time."

The beloved former governor and folk hero then got into his large SUV with his family-sized 12-piece chicken meal from KFC and closed the tinted windows for privacy.

At publishing time, Christie had also been seen spending quality time with his family-sized box of Oreos from Costco.

US elections could trigger the collapse of the global liberal system
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
by Dmitry Taratorin

[REGNUM] Donald Trump has threatened Joe Biden with criminal charges when he becomes president if former heads of state do not have real immunity from prosecution.
Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
“If I don't have immunity, then Corrupt Joe won't have it either, and with the cross-border invasion surrendered by Afghanistan, not to mention the millions of dollars of foreign money in his pockets, Joe will be ripe for criminal charges. By using the DOJ as a weapon against a political opponent, me, Joe is opening a huge Pandora’s box,” Trump wrote on his social network Truth.
Indeed. Just as Alinsky prescribed.
The former - and very likely future - president says allegations surrounding his supporters' storming of the Capitol and what Democrats say was an attempt to block legislative certification of Biden's election victory are completely baseless.

However, Trump’s problems don’t end there. He faces a total of 91 charges across four criminal cases. Together they carry a sentence of 700 years in prison.

Discussing Trump's presidential prospects with an informed Western conservative, I heard: "They'd rather kill him."

Where does “they” have this horror before Trump’s return to the White House? Yes, he promised in his first term to “drain the swamp,” that is, to undermine the power of the American political elite, but he already failed to do this once. Apparently, the “swamp” is aware that he has drawn conclusions. And now he is preparing for a serious blow.

But the threat hangs not only over the “swamp”, but also over the “Cathedral”. And if it only shakes, this could be the beginning of the collapse of the entire left-liberal hegemony on a global scale. No, of course, we are not talking about some anti-church plans of Trump and his supporters. The term “Cathedral” denotes the “priests” of the left-liberal “religion”, guardians and fierce defenders of its dogmas, mercilessly persecuting all dissenters, labeling them marginal, and indiscriminately classifying their ideas as anti-human.

This concept was invented about a decade and a half ago by IT specialist and popular blogger Curtis Yarvin, who wrote under the pseudonym Mencius Moldbug. The “Cathedral” is a network of journalists, professors, experts and politicians permeating the entire Western society who defend their “faith” as the only acceptable worldview.

What made the same Yarvin declare war on him? The blatant ineffectiveness of the system that was created on the basis of the dogmas of the “Cathedral”, the obvious degradation of the ruling elite under the influence of its ideas, and simply its creeping totalitarianism. These ideas were supported by the nonconformist philosopher Nick Land, who became the second cult figure of the new movement, which was soon dubbed neoreaction (or NRx for short).

But if the matter were limited to a few network intellectuals, this phenomenon could be neglected. However, the impulse itself came from more serious circles.

Nick Land himself, speaking about the milestones in the formation of the movement, notes: “One of the stages was a discussion in April 2009, organized at Cato Unbound among libertarian thinkers (including Patrick Friedman and Peter Thiel), in which disillusionment with the direction and possibilities of democratic politics was expressed with unusual directness. Thiel summed up this trend succinctly: “I no longer believe that freedom and democracy are compatible.”

It is quite typical that Thiel is not only one of the most successful investors in the United States, but also a person close to Trump.

Meanwhile, Land gives the new mentality another definition: “The subterranean current which promotes such an anti-politics is a recognizably Hobbesian serial 'dark enlightenment', initially devoid of any Rousseauian enthusiasm for popular expression.”

What are we talking about here? And nothing less than the fact that neoreactionaries (as well as their predecessors of the 18th century) see the root of evil in enlightenment philosophers such as Voltaire, Diderot, the preacher of the natural innocence of man Jean-Jacques Rousseau and, of course, their joint brainchild - the French Revolution with its slogan “liberty, equality and fraternity”. That is, no less than their activities are aimed at undermining everything that for the “Council” is an unquestionable axiom.

But why are they neo-reactionaries, and not reactionaries without any modernizing prefixes? Because Curtis Yarvin describes his logic like this: “An absolute hereditary monarch has no interest in using an ineffective bureaucracy. Because he wants his nation to prosper, he is likely to adopt the economic and social system that appears to promote the prosperity of nations: libertarian capitalism. So we come full circle, a sort of layer cake—libertarianism, then absolute monarchy, then more libertarianism.”

This seems completely crazy - American monarchists! This is in a country that was born precisely from the absolute rejection of the British monarchy. But here the contradiction is only at first glance. It is not for nothing that Yarvin begins with libertarianism and ends with it. No wonder Peter Thiel says that democracy can no longer provide freedom. They simply discovered that under the guise of “democracy” the “Council” established its absolute dictatorship.

Over the course of a decade and a half, the NRx movement has evolved rapidly. And today it breaks down into a number of directions that see their goals very differently. Nick Land himself describes the situation as follows: “Since everyone agrees that the right can never agree with each other on anything,
...just like the left, in fact?
then there is an opportunity to enjoy the sophistication of this diversity. From crypto-fascists, theonomists and romantic royalists to jaded classical liberals and full-blown constitutionalists, reaction contains an entire ideological universe within itself. Aversion to forced egalitarianism and a feeling that Western civilization is going to hell is probably enough to get you into the club. Agreement on anything other than this? Forget."

But it is precisely this heterogeneity of NRx (from radical Catholic theonomists to total nihilists like Land himself) that is not a weakness, but a strength of the movement. It exists as a network community that is fighting for the minds of intellectuals with the network system of the “Cathedral”. And quite unsuccessfully. After all, until recently, being an intellectual in the West almost automatically meant being leftist.

What awaits America? Neoreactionaries crown Trump emperor? In fact, they cannot be said to be his supporters at all. If only because of the mentioned diversity of their platforms. The point is different. And the threat to the “Cathedral” lies elsewhere.

Trump, “draining the Washington swamp,” will inevitably undermine the power of this network structure. Otherwise, he simply won’t be able to resist. After all, it is the members of the “Cathedral” who tirelessly attack him.

This means that his victory promises the United States an exciting and completely unpredictable future. Up to the potential transformation into the “United Kingdoms of America”. This is exactly what strange blogger Mencius Moldbug likes.

Olde Tyme Religion
Vatican ‘Orgasm-gate' May Be the Last Straw for Argentinean Cardinal
[Breitbart] Writings from the Vatican’s controversial doctrinal czar exploring intimate details of male and female orgasm has been dubbed the last straw for his meteoric but scandal-ridden career.

Víctor Manuel “Tucho” Fernández, a close personal friend and ghostwriter for Pope Francis, whom the pontiff called to Rome to lead the Vatican’s powerful doctrinal office, elevating him to the rank of cardinal, has provoked a veritable ecclesial earthquake with the recent discovery and translation of a graphic sexual text comparing orgasm to mystical union with God.

“Let’s not forget that women have a rich venous plexus around the vagina, which maintains a good blood flow after orgasm,” Fernández wrote in his 1998 book Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality. “That’s why she is usually insatiable. She needs to release the pelvic congestion, and when this does not happen, after orgasm she may want more.”
Madonna or whore? A little too simplistic, even for me.
“The woman requires more time, more dedication. She needs the man to give her something extra after he has achieved his own satisfaction,” he added.

Fernández said this week that he had cancelled Mystical Passion not long after it was published and “never allowed it to be reprinted.”

Mystical Passion made sense at the time but it is a book “that I certainly would not write now,” he told Crux, an online Catholic news outlet.

What many observers have found most troubling about the book is not its prurient exploration into the nitty gritty of human orgasm — as odd as it may be considering its authorship — but rather an entire chapter recounting conversations with a 16-year-old girl about her erotic visions of Jesus.
