[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Curious it was the Sheriff, not medical staff, that tipped her.

Department of Justice Files Statement of Interest in Lawsuit from Transgender Inmate
[Breitbart] The U.S. Department of Justice filed a statement of interest in a lawsuit brought in Georgia claiming that the denial of transgender care violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

“People with gender dysphoria should be able to seek the full protections of the American with Disabilities Act [sic], just like other people with disabilities,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “We are committed to ensuring constitutional conditions inside our jails and prisons so that those detained inside these facilities, including people with gender dysphoria can live safely and receive needed medical care. The U.S. Constitution requires that people incarcerated in jails and prisons receive necessary medical care, treatment and services to address serious medical conditions.”

The lawsuit alleges that the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) violated a transgender inmate’s rights under the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and the U.S. Constitution by denying treatment for transgenderism.

“The protections of the U.S. Constitution and the Americans with Disabilities Act do not stop at the doorsteps of our jails and prisons,” said U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan for the Northern District of Georgia. “Our office remains committed to ensuring that all people with disabilities, including those with gender dysphoria, continue to receive access to such medically necessary treatments, even while they are in custody.”

In another case from Missouri, Kelly McSean, a transgender inmate convicted of rape and pedophilia, has filed a civil rights lawsuit after being denied female undergarments at the St. Francois County Jail and South Missouri Mental Health Center.

McSean has been awaiting trial after escaping jail and attacking sex offender treatment program staff, and he has a long rap sheet of offenses going back to his teen years, having raped both boys and girls, going in and out of jail, until his eventual imprisonment. Recently, he has claimed discrimination for not being given his desired undergarments, which the ACLU has backed. Per Reduxx:

Though McSean is alleging various forms of mistreatment, the majority of his complaints appear to stem from his inability to access “gender affirming” items and treatments, most notably women’s undergarments. He also takes issue with being “misgendered” and “demeaned” while in custody, and having been treated as a male despite his state and prison documentation listing him as a “female.”

McSean has similarly alleged sexual harassment, with these claims stemming from “misgendering” incidents, “discrimination on the basis of sex,” and routine searches not being conducted in the fashion he demands. He has also claimed he was “sexually assaulted” during a strip-search, emphasizing that his penis and “breasts” had been exposed to male officers.

McSean has claimed that these incidents have caused him severe anxiety, nightmares, high blood pressure, and loss of appetite, amounting to alleged damages between $50,000 to $100,000. In one complaint, McSean claimed that the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) had intervened on his behalf.

“After being informed that the ACLU and an attorney has contacted the St. Francois county detention center of [sic] the constitutional rights of transgender persons, I submitted an inmate request form as to the status of ability to purchase and have female undergarments,” he wrote in August of last year.

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
Powerful winter storm ravages East Coast, leaves trail of destruction
[GEO.TV] A powerful winter storm is wreaking havoc along the US East Coast, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

From floods and power outages to grounded flights and emergency evacuations, the region is grappling with the aftermath of a relentless assault by Mother Nature.
Gaia hates you?
The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued high wind and flooding advisories for more than 50 million people stretching from eastern Ohio to the Northeast. Coastal towns in New England, including Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, are facing severe flooding, with streets submerged, homes evacuated, and businesses grappling with the rising waters. Authorities have declared a state of emergency, urging residents to seek higher ground.

Major cities like New York, Philadelphia, and Boston are on high alert as potentially damaging gusts exceeding 50 miles per hour threaten to bring down trees and power lines.

The impact is evident with 300,000 homes and businesses from North Carolina to Maine plunged into darkness, amplifying the chaos caused by the storm. Flight operations are severely disrupted, with over 1,200 flights delayed or canceled, including a significant number in and out of reliably Democrat Chicago, aka The Windy City or Mobtown
...home of Al Capone, the Chicago Black Sox, a succession of Daleys, Barak Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel...
Tragically, the storm has claimed lives in its path, with at least three reported deaths in Alabama, North Carolina, and Georgia. High winds and tornadoes have torn through the South, causing devastation and leaving communities in shock. Additionally, two motorists bit the dust in Wisconsin and Michigan, where heavy snowfall has created treacherous driving conditions.

NM cop is charged with murder after shocking video showed him shooting grandmother three times as she was driving away
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A New Mexico cop who shot a grandmother three times as she tried to driveaway during his questioning has been charged with murder.

Felipe Hernandez, an eight-year veteran of the Las Cruces Police Department, turned himself in to authorities Tuesday morning for the October 3 shooting.

Teresa Gomez, 45, was stopped by Hernandez around 5 am after she parked her car at a public housing complex with her friend Jesus Garcia, 38, who Hernandez recognized from other encounters.
Known wolf.
The officer started to accuse Garcia of trespassing and violating a judge's order as he spoke to Gomez about the situation. The grandmother tried to drive away from the scene as Hernandez shouted at her to stop just before he shot and killed her.
Fleeing police at the scene.
'From the very beginning of Mr. Hernandez’s interaction with Ms. Gomez, the ability to manage protocol is non-existent. His interactions with her, just on a human level, was exceptionally subpar and certainly did not meet the standards that LCPD demands of its officers,' Doña Ana County District Attorney Gerald Byers said in a press conference.

In nine-minute bodycam footage starts as Hernandez pulls Gomez over he asks her to roll her window down and open the door, as she tells him that she was trying to locate her keys.

The passenger, Garcia, then pulls out a paintball gun from his waist as Hernandez asks the driver to step out of the car.
Passenger pulls gun-like object.
'I don't need to step out,' Gomez says.

'Step out now or I will pull you out,' Hernandez responds.

Gomez then tells the officer that she wants to 'see his sergeant' and continues to refuse to get out of her vehicle.

The officer then starts to use aggressive language and profanities and threatens to 'tase' her until Gomez eventually gets out.

Gomez steps to the side of the car as Hernandez shines his flashlight back on Garcia as he moves the paintball gun in the car.

'I'm not doing nothing,' Garcia says.

Gomez explained she was searching for her lost car keys and that she was looking for her friend 'Butterfly.'

The officer began to question their presence outside the public housing complex, claiming that her passenger is not supposed to be there. Gomez remained fairly calm throughout the exchange and went on to explain that she was unaware of any specific violations.

Hernandez then asks her why she was in the housing complex at that time and aggressively tells her: 'I will really, really make your life a living hell' and threatens to tow her car.

The grandmother then tells him that she was visiting guests before the officer informs her that visitors are only allowed in the complex during certain times.

MASSIVE PUSHBACK – German Railway Workers Join Farmer Protest – German and Polish Truckers Providing Additional Support-
Lots of videos at the link.
[ConservativeTreehouse] It might be difficult to find the details because Western corporate media do not want to cover the specifics, but the pushback deep inside the EU is well organized, planned and strong.

On day one, the German farmers began their protest, and began blocking transport hubs, main arteries and government buildings around the country.

On day #2, a large number of Polish truckers crossed the border to provide additional support and block the roads and border crossings.

Today, on day #3 of the protest, the German railway workers have joined.

You might remember the “solidarity” movement from the 1980s when the general working class in Poland took to the streets and triggered mass protests – eventually forcing the collapse of the governing structure. Well, here we are 40 years later, and a multi-nation force is aligned in the effort to duplicate the outcome. This is massive pushback against the globalist and WEF system.

The railway strike forces transport companies to use trucking. The truckers are supporting the farmers. The farmers are blocking the roads. This is a multidimensional approach, well thought out and well planned. Do not disregard what is taking place and understand there are many EU politicians watching closely. Germany is by far the largest economy in the EU.

[MEANA] – […] One of the key elements of the protests involves farmers organizing blockades on motorways and participating in slow-moving convoys. The discontent within the farming community was previously demonstrated in a mass protest held in Berlin in mid-December, prompting the government to make partial concessions. In response to the outcry, Berlin agreed to retain the preferential tax treatment of agricultural vehicles and postponed the cuts to diesel tax breaks until 2026.

Despite these concessions, farmers argue that the government’s measures are insufficient, leading to the announcement of an ‘Action Week’ featuring daily protests nationwide, scheduled from January 8. The farmers, represented by Joachim Rukwied, head of the farmers association DBV, insist on a complete reversal of the proposed cuts without any conditions.

Rukwied anticipates widespread participation, with tens of thousands of tractors converging at rallies across Germany. (more)

GERMANY – Nationwide strikes brought German transport to a near standstill Wednesday, with railway workers on a three-day stoppage and farmers on tractors blocking autobahns in a bitter protest over subsidy cuts.

The ill-tempered sector disputes mark the start of what is expected to be a challenging year for Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s unwieldy three-way government as it struggles with a weak economy and sinking popularity.

The GDL train drivers union called the strike on cargo as well as passenger routes after talks with public rail operator Deutsche Bahn hit an impasse. The company said 80 percent of its long-distance trains weren’t running.

Deutsche Bahn warned of “massive” disruptions to service until Friday evening, urging travellers to “avoid any unnecessary journeys” during the strike.

At Berlin’s eerily deserted central station, student Philipp Kolb, 22, said the strike had complicated his travel plans. “I was supposed to take the train to Hamburg at 6 am,” he told AFP. “Now I have to push the trip back by three hours.” However passenger Piotr Bulej said he sympathised with striking drivers in the face of high inflation eating into real wages. “People work a lot more hours with less money. The prices rise every day, every week,” he said. “One has to protest, one has to say that.” ‘Continue the fight’. (more)

GERMANY – The nationwide blockade being launched by angry German farmers has received the support of Polish truckers, with some driving across the border to express their solidarity.

Farmers in Germany are taking their anger to the streets over the economic and agricultural policies announced by Olaf Scholz’s government. […] The protests, expected to last for the whole week, are being supported also by truckers coming from neighboring Poland, clips and reports emerging from social media suggest. (more)

Government Corruption
California's high-speed rail is still nothing more than a nocturnal emission fantasy
[Washington Examiner] The California high-speed rail is a blank slate that everyone can cast their wildest dreams upon because it does not exist and isn’t anywhere on the horizon.
All of the ballot promises: Ridership, costs, funding, ease of construction,...were LIES. All of them.
Among those projecting onto the non-existent train is state Sen. Scott Wiener (D), who posted, "Don’t believe the naysayers: CA high speed rail continues to be popular, polling at 56%. High speed rail will help our economy, lifting up Central Valley, connecting regions. High speed rail will help CA’s housing crisis. High speed rail will help CA achieve our climate goals."

Wiener posted that with a link to a CalMatters piece, which touts all the revitalization of areas in Fresno, which is slated to become a hub for the train if it is ever built. Read through the piece, and you would assume that everyone loves it; it isn’t actually that far behind schedule, and it has a real possibility of being ready soon.

But even this piece paints how ridiculous the entire idea is. The piece admits that the price tag has ballooned to an "optimistic" estimate of $128 billion at the most and that the actual project has shrunk by about 300 miles. Officials "hope" that 119 miles from Merced to Bakersfield will be complete in 2026. The first tests are "slated" for 2028. The state has blown through every other timeline it has crafted for this project, but you are expected to believe that now they have a realistic one when "projections widely used by engineers and project managers" show that "the train could not be completed in this century."

But the piece gives away the game when talking about the people who are supposed to be seeing this project built. The project is "at the whims of slow-moving bureaucracies that only show urgency when there’s a press conference or deadline." California has "no money to connect the system to the Bay Area and Southern California until the federal government steps up," but the federal government "has been largely absent." Democratic Rep. Jim Costa keeps introducing legislation in Congress to fund the project, but it keeps failing and requires bipartisan support.

#5  Back in December the US DOT awarded another $6B for high speed rail in California. About half was for the Calif HSR. These funds were available because of the 2021 Infrastructure and Investment and Jobs Act (aka, Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill).

I'm not sure but I think the Federal funding awarded to the Calif HSR to date is about $10B.

The only good thing about this project is that it will forever illuminate the horror of the US 'targeting' of investments.

"Well, I can't tell you that, really," Trump told Fox News during a town hall in Iowa on Wednesday when the moderators asked him who is in the running to be on a presidential ticket with him. "I mean, I know who it's going to be."

Report: Hot Mic Caught Journalists Joking About Donald Trump Assassination
[Breitbart] A hot mic caught
[the felonious behavior of]
journalists joking about former President Donald Trump being assassinated as they waited for him to arrive at the federal courthouse in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, according to a report.

According to Mediaite, cameras were set up waiting for Trump’s arrival and caught the journalists joking about getting a good video shot of Trump but then referencing late President John F. Kennedy’s assassination. According to the outlet, the journalists said:

JOURNO 1: You know what the worst part is? Even if he has his window open and he’s hanging out of it, he will be on the other side of the street.

JOURNO 2: I mean, if he’s driving, we’ve got a good shot!

JOURNO 1: Yeah, if he’s driving with the front window open?

JOURNO 2: Yeah, or if it’s a convertible?

JOURNO 1: Yeah. I wasn’t thinking about that.

JOURNO 2: Yeah. Like if he just pulls up–

JOURNO 1: Like JFK?

JOURNO 2: (laughs)

JOURNO 1: Maybe someone, just like they told JFK, “You know what you should do? You should take a convertible! It’s so nice out!”

A three-judge panel on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments Tuesday on whether Trump has presidential immunity from prosecution on charges of attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

NASA needs more time to train Male and Female Navajo Native America Astronauts, due to the Navajo religious issues and the moon. Plus time to be PC and hire and train a Transgender, a Gay, a undocumented Hispanic, and a African-American Astronaut 1st?

BTW: Where were the Navajo religious protests back in 1969?
