'Most Wanted' Woman Protected by Elite Terrorist Squad
Samantha Lewthwaite is the widow of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay, who blew himself up on a Piccadilly Line train between King's Cross St Pancras and Russell Square stations.

She was the daughter of a former soldier before converting to Islam.

The British Muslim convert is linked to the Westgate Mall massacre in Nairobi in which 67 people were killed, and is thought to be hiding in Somalia.

Interpol issued a 'Red Notice' warrant for her arrest shortly after the attacks for terrorist offences in Mombasa dating back to 2011.

The 29-year-old is the world's most wanted woman after being accused of allegedly ordering the killings of two radical Muslim clerics, two Protestant preachers, and three others with links to al-Shabaab.

They are reportedly living in forests and caves and getting milk from nomadic farmers in the region.

The 'White Widow' and mother of three, Samantha Lewthwaite, is being guarded by a squad of elite terrorists who are ready to kill anyone who goes near her, it was reported today.

The British-born Muslim convert is on the run after she was suspected of helping coordinate the September attack on a Nairobi shopping mall in which 67 people were killed.

Reports suggest she is now being protected by a band of loyal al-Qaeda fighters, who move her between locations on camel or donkey to avoid detection.

The Daily Mirror reported today she is 'prized' by the group and is being looked after by a well-trained band of men, who clothe their whole bodies apart from their eyes and have threatened locals not to come near them.
A map of her recent travels is in the cited article.

Egypt court bans top Mubarak partisans from running for office
[The Peninsula] An Egyptian court Tuesday banned senior members of the now-dissolved National Democratic Party of ousted president Hosni Mubarak
...The former President-for-Life of Egypt, dumped by popular demand in early 2011...
from running in upcoming parliamentary elections, a judicial source said.
Pro'ly just as well: can't have the old crooks getting in the way of the new crooks...
A court disbanded the NDP shortly after Mubarak was forced out in 2011 but former members were expected to try a political comeback in elections to be held before year end.

The Moslem Brüderbund, which dominated all elections after Mubarak's ouster, has been blacklisted and crushed by police following the military's overthrow of Islamist president Mohammed Morsi
...the former president of Egypt. A proponent of the One Man, One Vote, One Time principle, Morsi won election after the deposal of Hosni Mubarak and jumped to the conclusion it was his turn to be dictator...
in July.

Tuesday's order by the Cairo Court for Urgent Matters was a temporary injunction ahead of a final ruling, which may take months or even a year.

The court based its ruling on the decision to disband the party because of its role during the Mubarak era, saying that allowing its senior members to run would be a "warning bell" of a political comeback.

In the past, the constitutional court ruled that laws preventing former NDP members from running for elections were unconstitutional.

Al-Azhar Demands Boko Haram Free Abducted Nigeria Girls
[An Nahar] Egypt's prestigious Islamic institute al-Azhar urged the Nigerian Moslem group Boko Haram
... not to be confused with Procol Harum, Harum Scarum, possibly to be confused with Helter Skelter. The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality...
group Tuesday to free more than 200 schoolgirls it kidnapped and has threatened to sell into slavery.
How many divisions has the university?
Al-Azhar, which runs the main Sunni Islamic university in the region, said harming the girls "completely contradicts the teachings of Islam and its tolerant principles."

It called "for the immediate release" of the girls, kidnapped on April 14 in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state.

Abubakar Shekau, who leads the group that has killed thousands in a five-year uprising, grabbed credit for the kidnappings.

2. they didn't denounce the many massacres of civilians by boko haram (at 40% of the victims were muslim).
3. they didn't state which verse of the quran makes the kidnappings haram and in fact they didn't seem to denounce the kidnappings, but only to denounce the 'harm' to the girls

all of this will be missed by the media - even Fox will miss this

Tunisia President Promises Amnesty for Jihadists Not Convicted of Murder
[An Nahar] Tunisia's president promised an amnesty Tuesday for jihadists who disarm and who have not been convicted of murder, as he toured a border area where troops are hunting al-Qaeda-linked myrmidons.

"We decided at the last security council meeting that there will be an amnesty and reconciliation law for those without blood on their hands -- they still have a place among our people," President Moncef Marzouki told soldiers taking part in the operation on Mount Chaambi, near the Algerian border.

"We want to open the door of reconciliation to those who surrender their arms and return to the fold of their country," Marzouki said in the speech released by his office.

Addressing himself to the jihadists, the president said: "Lay down your weapons, come down (from the mountain) and return to your people."

Marzouki gave no further details of the proposed amnesty or when the draft law would be submitted to parliament.

Under the current anti-terrorism law, adopted in 2003 under now toppled strongman Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, heavy prison sentences can be handed to anyone linked to a banned group, whether or not the suspect is convicted of acts of violence.

Bangladesh
Formal charge against Jamaat likely this month
[Dhaka Tribune] Formal charges against Jamaat-e-Islami
...The Islamic Society, founded in 1941 in Lahore by Maulana Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, aka The Great Apostosizer. The Jamaat opposed the independence of Bangladesh but has operated an independent branch there since 1975. It maintains close ties with international Mohammedan groups such as the Moslem Brotherhood. the Taliban, and al-Qaeda. The Jamaat's objectives are the establishment of a pure Islamic state, governed by Sharia law. It is distinguished by its xenophobia, and its opposition to Westernization, capitalism, socialism, secularism, and liberalist social mores...
for committing war crimes as a political party are likely to be submitted to the International Crimes Tribunal at the end of this month, a move that will fulfil the long-cherished desire of the country's pro-liberation people.

A seven-member prosecution team has almost finalised the formal charges with at least five charges to be filed against the party that had opposed the 1971 Liberation War and had been involved in committing crimes against humanity in collaboration with the Pak occupation forces.

The possible charges are committing war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity, violation of Geneva Convention 1949 and other international laws.

The prosecution may seek five types of punishment against the party including declaring it a criminal

organization, imposing a ban on the party and its student body Islami Chhatra Shibir
... the student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh...
, realising compensation, and slapping fines.

On March 25, Investigation Officer Md Matiur Rahman handed over a 373-page probe report to the prosecution team. Chief Prosecutor of the tribunal Md Golam Arif Tipoo formed a committee led by prosecutor Tureen Afroz.

Asked why they had taken almost two months to prepare the charges,

Tureen said they had to solve some issues first.

"We are dealing with this type of case for the first time. We have limited source to get guidance about its jurisprudence. Secondly, it was a lengthy process to collect documentary evidence from Jamaat's publication.

"Finally, though we have example of the Nuremberg Trial, we needed to specify all the new examples until this year. It is also time consuming," she explained.

The probe report also includes 9,557-page evidential documents and 70 statements of witnesses including historians, prominent researchers and victims.

About the challenges the prosecution team had faced to draw conclusion of the charges, an insider said: "When we approached some intellectuals to give statement against Jamaat, many of them did not respond. However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
we can collect many statements from the intellectuals.

China-Japan-Koreas
Satellite Spots Preparations for N.Korean Nuke Test
A U.S. military satellite has detected "imminent signs" of a fresh North Korean nuclear test, CNN quoted a senior Defense Department official as saying Monday.

The Pentagon official said the satellite last weekend photographed a tarpaulined tunnel entrance at a nuclear test site in Punggye-ri, North Hamgyong Province. This could be an attempt to prevent the surveillance satellite from spying on the process of preparing for an underground nuclear test.

The final preparatory stage of a nuclear test would be to fill up the tunnel entrance.

The same day, Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se met with EU foreign minister Catherine Ashton in New York. "If North Korea carries out a fresh nuclear test or fires mid-range missiles, the international community should slap strong sanctions on Pyongyang enough to put the kibosh on the issue," Yun said.
Just like last time...
He called for a new type of sanction to bring an end to the North's nuclear program.

Seoul has stepped up 24-hour surveillance, believing that a fourth North Korean nuclear test is imminent.

"We can't rule out that the North is bluffing," a government official said. "But it seems they’ve finished preparations for a nuclear test and are now just waiting for the regime to give the go-ahead."

Turkey Builds Wall In Token Effort To Secure Border With Syria
[Ynet] Turkey has started building a new wall along a fragment of its southeastern border with Syria as it struggles against smuggling, illegal migration and the threat from al-Qaeda gunnies among Syria's rebel ranks.

Slabs of concrete have sprung up in recent days, snaking for just over one kilometer over the rolling hills of Hatay province, a finger of land which was part of Syria until the late 1930s, dotted with villages that have thrived on an illicit cross-border trade in everything from fuel to cigarettes.
Pretty soon it won't be just the Great Wall of China that can be seen from space...

Pakistan to set up polio vaccination points at airports
[DAWN] Pakistain will set up mandatory polio
...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set...
immunisation points at its international airports in response to recommendations by the World Health Organisation, the health ministry said Tuesday.

The WHO warned Monday that the crippling disease has re-emerged as a public health emergency, with the virus currently affecting 10 countries worldwide and endemic in three including Pakistain.

"Special measures will include establishing mandatory immunisation counters on all airports, border crossings and seaports for all travellers," said ministry front man Sajid Ali Shah.

The WHO had called on Pakistain, Cameroon and Syria, seen as posing the greatest risk of exporting wild poliovirus, to ensure all residents and long-term visitors receive a polio vaccine between four weeks and a year before travelling abroad.

Nisar denies kidnapped Iranian guards ever on Pakistani soil
[DAWN] Pakistain Tuesday strongly denied
No, no! Certainly not!
that kidnapped Iranian border guards were ever on its soil, amid fresh efforts to improve fractured ties before Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Pak Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan denied the kidnapped men had ever crossed the border.

"Let me reiterate very categorically that those five Iranian guards were never ever present in Pakistain," he said.

"So the question of fifth one being in Pakistain is out of question."

Khan was speaking at a joint presser in Islamabad with his Iranian counterpart, Abdolereza Rahmani Fazli.

Ex-CJ rubbishes Imran's 'absurd' rigging allegations
[DAWN] Former chief justice of Pakistain Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday rejected the rigging accusations made against him by Pakistain Tehreeak-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan
... aka Taliban Khan, who who convinced himself that playing cricket qualified him to lead a nuclear-armed nation with severe personality problems...
, terming them as 'baseless', DawnNews reported.

The former chief justice said that Returning Officers (ROs) for the 2013 elections were appointed by the Election Commission of Pakistain and not by him. He added that the 'absurd' allegations hurled by the PTI chief did not warrant a response.

Earlier in May, PTI chief Imran Khan had openly criticised the former chief justice and the Jang/Geo group for their alleged involvement in the rigging during the 2013 polls. Khan had asked the current chief justice to take notice of how, with the support of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, this powerful media house had 'stolen' the general elections in favour of one party.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Israel Slams Report Of Massive Spying Efforts Against US
[Ynet] Israel decries Newsweek report claiming it is involved in attempts to steal US 'industry and technical secrets,' saying report has 'whiff of anti-Semitism'; officials say 'someone is gunning for visa waiver program.'

Israel on Tuesday hit back at a Newsweek report claiming American officials believe Israeli intelligence-gathering efforts in the US have "crossed red lines."

The Israeli embassy in Washington issued a denial, saying that "Israel does not conduct any spying activities (against the US), and condemns any attempt to tarnish Israel with false allegations."

A senior diplomatic source in Jerusalem said Israel would send the US a strong message over the report, even going so far as to argue that parts of it were "tainted with a whiff of anti-Semitism."

The scathing Newsweek report, published earlier Tuesday (also Israel's Independence Day), said that "Jerusalem's efforts to steal US secrets under the cover of trade missions and joint defense technology contracts have 'crossed red lines'...going far beyond activities by other close allies, such as Germany, La Belle France, the UK and Japan."

The report, by Newsweek's Jeff Stein, went on to claim that, "Zionists were dispatching spies to America before there even was an Israel, to gather money and materials for the cause and later the fledgling state."

The report also cited a congressional staffer familiar with a briefing of testimonies by US counterspies to the House Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committees, who described them as "very sobering...alarming...even terrifying," with another calling it "damaging."

The report further went on to claim that Israel's main targets were America's industrial and technical secrets.

"No other country close to the United States continues to cross the line on espionage like the Israelis do," the report quoted a former congressional staffer as saying.

He further said "there are no other countries taking advantage of our security relationship the way the Israelis are for espionage purposes, it is quite shocking. I mean, it shouldn't be lost on anyone that after all the hand-wringing over (convicted Israeli spy Jonathan) Pollard, it's still going on."

The aide elaborated and claimed that Israel was involved in "industrial espionage -- (with) folks coming over here on trade missions or with Israeli companies working in collaboration with American companies, (or) intelligence operatives being run directly by the government, which I assume meant out of the (Israeli) Embassy."

Post-Pollard caution
Former Israeli ambassador to the US Michael Oren also slammed the report, vehemently denying that Israel was still engaged in intelligence-gathering in the US. "Israel hasn't spied on the US since the Pollard incident," he said. "Israel doesn't spy against the US, period."

Oren also dismissed any accusations that the Israeli government played any role in spying by businesses.

"I don't know about industrial espionages, there is spying in the business world, but the Israeli government is not behind it," he said.

The former diplomat also called into question the allegations made in the piece, as well as the reliability of the reporting.

"Regarding the report there were two things that were unclear to me," Oren said. "Are the claims being made against the State of Israel or against Israelis, and who exactly made briefings (the report cites)."

He further claimed that relations between the US and Israel's intelligence services had never been closer "and you can hear that from congress members from both parties.

"Of course there is still apprehension (since the Pollard incident) but it is unfounded."

A senior diplomatic source added that, "since Pollard Israel is very careful. Things are very organized and coordinated with the US."

The source did admit that there had been "disagreement regarding technological exports to China, but that has nothing to do with spying, but rather with exporting."

He further claimed that it seems that someone "is gunning for the visa waiver program... and it is very easy to connect it to some top secret covert intelligence issues -- it always works."

To ease the travel of its citizens, Israel is pressing to join 38 other countries in the US Visa Waiver Program -- a prestigious club of nations whose citizens don't need a pre-approved visa to visit America.

However,
ars longa, vita brevis...
the move has faced considerable roadblocks, with Washington claiming Israel has not been let into the program simply because it has not met the requirements -- and has pointed in part to Israel's treatment of Arab-American travelers, drawing sharp denials by Israeli officials of any discrimination.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Immense Explosion in Iran May Have Nuclear Origins
An immense explosion has been heard throughout the northern Iranian city of Qazvin, semi-official Fars news agency reported, and many casualties are expected from the blast.
48 hour rule clearly in effect...
Around 1.1 million people live in the city, which is located about 100 miles north of Tehran.

The blast may be related to nuclear development in Iran, according to the Los Angeles Times. Iranian officials in the past have strongly denied claims by Mujahedin Khalq Organization that it has a secret nuclear enrichment facility in Abyek, near the major city, according to the daily.

The source of the blast remains undetermined. Several mystery explosions have been reported in the past several years in the region, none of which were ever verified.

A fire has now broken out in the city, local reports say, and as many as 50 people are injured. State media blames an oil depot for the blast.

State news agency IRNA reports that firefighters are on the scene. "Firefighters are trying to prevent the spread of the fire at a car oil storage facility," Ali Mohammad Ahani, the director general of Qazvin governor's disaster management authority, stated. Ahani added that no reports of casualties have been recorded.

Iranian admiral: US carriers would be targeted in war
Iran will target U.S. aircraft carriers based in the Persian Gulf if a war were to ever erupt between both countries, an Iranian naval chief warned Tuesday.

"Aircraft carriers are the symbol of America's military might," Adm. Ali Fadavi, according to the Fars news agency. "The carriers are responsible for supplying America's air power. So, it's natural that we want to sink the carriers."

Fadavi is naval chief of Iran's Revolutionary Guard and made the remarks as Iran completes a large-scale mock-up of a U.S. carrier.

Iran is currently building a replica of the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier, which will be used in future military exercises. The Revolutionary Guard's navy has already targeted mock-up U.S. warships, Fadavi said, adding it took only 50 seconds to destroy one of them.
I'm sure it did...
A U.S. Navy official in the Persian Gulf laughed off dismissed Iran's warnings.

"Whatever Iran hopes to do with the mock-up, it is likely to have zero impact on U.S. Navy operations in the Gulf," Cmdr. Jason Salata, a spokesman for the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, told the Associated Press.

#2  As Iran aka "Rising Iran" is now the Bammerika's post-Syria/Assad Crisis new BFF, I'm intrepreting this Artic, for time being, as Iran reminding the West + Muslim Rivals it is now a OWG Global Co-Superpower, soon to be Nukulaar + head or principal to one or more various OWG Global Fed Union(s).

The above being said ...

* FARS NEWS AGENCY > COMMANDER: IRAN ONE OF ONLY TWO WORLD COUNTRIES IN POSSESSION OF SUPER HIGH-TECHNOLOGY TORPEDO.

Son-of-Russia's-"SHKVAL".

Lest we fergit, MSM-NET > Iran was also repor seeking to acquire China's DF-21 ASBM Carrier-killer + variants.

#6  Just to be assholes we should go in and sink their replica ourselves.

Of course Carriers, unlike their mockup, are never without protection in a danger zone. It's called a carrier battle group.

OTOH one would think an U.S. Ambassador would never be without protection in a danger zone either. :(

A mechanic, a kid, kerosene,

And wooden bombs on the big screen.
