The Nigerian version of al-Qaeda and the Taliban rolled together and flavored with a smigeon of distinctly Subsaharan ignorance and brutality... group Tuesday to free more than 200 schoolgirls it kidnapped and has threatened to sell into slavery.
It called "for the immediate release" of the girls, kidnapped on April 14 in Nigeria's northeastern Borno state. Abubakar Shekau, who leads the group that has killed thousands in a five-year uprising, grabbed credit for the kidnappings. | |

| #1 1. they certainly took their time 2. they didn't denounce the many massacres of civilians by boko haram (at 40% of the victims were muslim). 3. they didn't state which verse of the quran makes the kidnappings haram and in fact they didn't seem to denounce the kidnappings, but only to denounce the 'harm' to the girls all of this will be missed by the media - even Fox will miss this |
