[Breitbart] The two men who filmed and appeared in a gay porn video in a Senate hearing chamber seem to have dodged legal repercussions.
U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) announced Thursday they found “no evidence that a crime was committed” and will not bring charges against the two men.
“For now, we are closing the investigation into the facts and circumstances surrounding a sex video that was recorded inside the Hart Senate Office Building on the morning of Wednesday, December 13,” USCP said in a statement. “After consulting with federal and local prosecutors, as well as doing a comprehensive investigation and review of possible charges, it was determined that – despite a likely violation of Congressional policy – there is currently no evidence that a crime was committed.”
The graphic video that led to the firing, first released by the Daily Caller, shows a congressional staffer, later identified as Maese-Czeropski, having anal sex with an unknown man on a table in the Senate hearing room, where senators often sit to ask questions during hearings.
Maese-Czeropski was fired by his then-employer, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD). Now that he is no longer a Senate employee, it is unlikely Maese-Czeropski will face further repercussions.
The USCP statement continued, “[a]lthough the hearing room was not open to the public at the time, the Congressional staffer involved had access to the room. The two people of interest were not cooperative, nor were the elements of any of the possible crimes met.
“The Congressional staffer, who has since resigned from his job, exercised his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and refused to talk to us. Our investigators are willing to review new evidence should any come to light,” the police continued.
Before his firing was made public, Maese-Czeropski posted a statement on his LinkedIn profile.
“This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” he claimed. “While some of my actions in the past have shown poor judgement, I love my job and would never disrespect my workplace. Any attempts to characterize my actions otherwise are fabricated,” he continued, “and I will be exploring what legal options are available to me in these matters.”
[FoxNews] The lawyer for U.S. Marine veteran Daniel Penny is slamming the decision to release migrants without bail after they were charged with attacking a pair of NYPD officers near Times Square over the weekend.
Surveillance footage of the Saturday night scuffle shows a group of migrants attacking an NYPD officer and lieutenant after they were told to move along. The suspects can be seen kicking the officers before running off. They were arrested a short time later.
The NYPD identified the suspects as Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Wilson Juarez, 21, Yorman Reveron, 24 — who has two pending cases in Manhattan for assault and robbery — and Jhoan Boada, 22, who is listed as homeless and an illegal immigrant. Boada was filmed unashamedly flipping the bird at awaiting reporters as he was released from custody on Wednesday.
On Thursday, two more migrants were arrested — Yohenry Brito, 24, and Jandry Barros, 21 — in connection with the attack.
Brito was arraigned by the Manhattan District Attorney's office with a $15,000 cash bail and a $50,000 partial and secured surety bond bail for the felony charge. Barros was also arraigned Thursday and released, with his next hearing scheduled for Feb. 21.
Later Thursday, the Manhattan DA’s office declined to prosecute Barros.
"We vigorously condemn assaults on police officers and prosecute those responsible. The question here is whether the person arrested was even involved," a spokesperson on the Barros case told Fox News. "At this time there is not sufficient evidence that he is one of the people who committed this terrible act."
Meanwhile, law enforcement sources told the New York Post that four of the charged migrants may have left the city on a bus for California. The NYPD, meanwhile, is looking for additional suspects in connection with the attack.
Attorney Thomas Kenniff, who is representing Daniel Penny, a Marine veteran charged in the chokehold death of a subway passenger last year, called the prosecutor’s decision to release the migrants without bail "very confounding."
"The primary purpose of bail is to ensure that people return to court," Kenniff told Fox News Digital in an interview. "[F]rom what I understand, they seem to have minimal if no ties to New York City."
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Remember food deserts? That was activists got major chains to open shops in dangerous city neighbourhoods. That was fine when the police enforced order and criminals were punished. Now that running amok is encourages and the hands of the police are tied, businesses of all sorts are pulling out. But no worries — the poor can order their cake delivered from Amazon or Walmart. Besides, they’re getting all those colourful asylum seekers bussed in from the southern border. Surely that is satisfaction enough for an intersectional community like hers.

What the hell difference does color make?
The store were losing their A$$es due to Shoplifting and needed to shutdown.
I guess to top this level of bottom feeder thinking. She'd need to demand a new federal reg's proposing a taxpayer funding Shoplifter Lives Matter (SLM) regulations. Where stores must have items in the open and no CCTV's and with catch and release.

[Breitbart] Venezuela’s socialist dictator, Nicolás Maduro, accused the Venezuelan “opposition” on Wednesday of being “terrorists and extremists” who operate “outside the Constitution and the law.”
Maduro’s accusation was specifically directed at the Unitary Platform, the latest iteration of the Venezuelan “opposition” coalition, which the socialist regime met with for negotiations in Barbados last year intended to culminate in a “free and fair” presidential election sometime in 2024.
The Maduro regime has repeatedly broken the Barbados agreement by upholding bans on political opponents from running for office and launching a new crackdown against dissidents. The “Barbados Agreements” were done under the observation of the administration of leftist American President Joe Biden.
As a reward for the Maduro regime’s vague promises — and despite Maduro showing no apparent interest in fulfilling them — Biden granted the socialist regime a generous oil and gas sanctions relief package, which is expected to expire in April.
Maduro accused the opposition of “terrorism” during a speech at the opening ceremony of Venezuela’s 2024 judicial year, where he remarked on the Venezuelan top court’s decision to uphold a ban on opposition presidential frontrunner María Corina Machado from holding public office.

Well, up here in the States if you are a Christian, concerned parent of children in public school, or actually believe in the words of the Constitution, you are branded a terrorist.
[RedState] The president of El Salvador, Nayyib Bukele, just destroyed the far-left Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
Posting on the X platform, Omar announced that she had sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken to express concerns about supposed attacks on democracy in El Salvador.
We are HONORED to receive your attacks, just days before OUR election.
Despite Bukele's popularity and incredibly successful efforts in turning one of Latin America's most dangerous countries into one of its safest, Omar and her Democratic colleagues had the nerve to go after Bukele's effective, albeit uncompromising, style of leadership.
[FoxBusnessNews] US job cuts skyrocket at beginning of 2024.
The pace of job cuts by U.S. employers accelerated at the start of 2024, a sign the labor market is starting to deteriorate in the face of ongoing inflation and high interest rates.
That is according to a new report published by Challenger, Gray & Christmas, which found that companies planned 82,307 job cuts in January, a substantial 136% increase from the previous month. However, that is down about 20% from the same time one year ago. It marked the second-highest layoff total for the month of January in data going back to 2009.
"Waves of layoff announcements hit U.S.-based companies in January after a quiet fourth quarter," said Andy Challenger, senior vice president of Challenger, Gray & Christmas. The cuts were "driven by broader economic trends and a strategic shift towards increased automation and AI adoption in various sectors, though in most cases, companies point to cost-cutting as the main driver for layoffs."
Financial companies bore the brunt of the job losses in January, with the industry shedding 23,238 employees. That is the highest monthly layoff total for the financial sector since September 2018, when it announced 27,343 job cuts.
The technology sector followed with 15,806 layoffs, the most since May 2023 and a stunning 254% increase from just one month prior.
"The impact of rapidly advancing artificial intelligence adoption is beginning to be felt from a jobs perspective, particularly in media and tech, but truly across sectors," Challenger said. "That said, companies are not outright blaming AI for many layoff decisions."
Food production companies also accounted for a large swath of the job cuts in January, slashing 6,656 positions — the highest monthly total for the sector since November 2012. Challenger said that "high costs and advancing automation" are reshaping how the industry operates.
The sector is battling headwinds like climate change and immigration policies that affect labor dynamics, according to the report.

notwithstanding the layoffs, this morning's January BLS jobs report was 'warmer' with payroll employment up 350k and upward revisions to the Nov and Dec numbers.
The only 'cooler' figures were declines in average workweek.

[FoxNews] President Joe Biden took aim at grocery stores, blaming them for "ripping people off" with high pricing amid the continued inflation blame game.
President Biden's remarks came during a speech at the South Carolina’s First in the Nation Dinner in Columbia, South Carolina.
"Inflation is coming down. It’s now lower in America than any other major economy in the world," Biden said. "The cost of eggs, milk, chicken, gas, and so many other essential items have come down."
"But for all we’ve done to bring prices down, there are still too many corporations in America ripping people off: price gouging, junk fees, greedflation, shrinkflation," the president continued.

But howdy average price of ketchup drops $0.05 and they run around slapping each others' asses like they just ran a kickoff for a touchdown.
Inflation coming down, means there is still inflation. I'm not sure the sizes of products can get much smaller. Shit, even the density of a Sweet Tart has been affected.
And yes, we need a year moratorium on warning labels.
How about addressing the product Producers & The Biden Regime economy controller ?
Remember the sudden shortages with no products on the shelf or heavily discounted for quick sell to avoid new and old product comparisons?
Which then suddenly return to the shelves with NEW packaging sizes, shapes, different filler amounts and the ingredients mixtures changed and now more expensive.
All while we read of Chicken plants, Pork/Beef issues and food plants burning up or sending the products to RED CHINA instead of to our stores. Plus the media telling us how factories were facing manpower issues and could produce needed basic items.
Add to this calls for $15 min wage, and NEW FED restrictions on oil, FUEL and transportation, by the
Biden Regimes controllers.
Question:
How long does it take to redesign, change item ingredients and container sizes and then then line up new suppliers and delivery and packaging for a nation wide NEW IMPROVED product roll out involving packages of 500k to a million to be on the shelves in 20,000+ supermarkets in just the USA?
Surely the vendor planning, new packaging, and shipping for a NEW AND IMPROVED Item nationwide roll-out would take months. Or longer if all the issues we were told by the media existed.
So was Covid-19 pandemic the cause of the 21% to 56% price increases, or was it a planned for situation, or conveniently used situation to increase R.O.I.?
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] A proposed high-speed passenger train connecting Las Vegas with LA has been given another boost with the approval of $2.5billion(£1.975billion) in extra funding.
The Brightline West railway aims to whisk passengers at 186mph (300kph) or more in electric trains across the Nevada desert in just two hours. It will cost around $12billion to create. It's a 45 minute flight
The latest funding - in tax-exempt bonds - was recently approved by the Biden administration.
It follows an unprecedented $3billion U.S. Department of Transportation grant in December and government authorisation in 2020 for the company to sell $1billion in similar bonds.
'We appreciate the confidence placed in us by DOT and are ready to get to work,' said Brightline founder and chairman Wes Edens.
Florida-based Brightline Holdings LLC is the only private passenger rail company in the U.S, linking Miami and Orlando with diesel-powered trains reaching speeds up to 125mph (200kph).
And it could soon also become the first in the country to complete a high-speed, electric-powered option if its new Brightline West project is successful.
The 218-mile (351km) railway will halve a four-hour freeway trip between Las Vegas and suburban San Bernardino County near LA.
It will make stops in Las Vegas, Victory Valley, Hesperia, and Ranch Cucamonga California where it will connect to the City of Angels' Metrolink commuter rail.
Planners and politicians say the project has all the required right-of-way and environmental approvals, along with labour agreements, and should help alleviate weekend and end-of-holiday travel traffic jams that often stretch for 15 miles (25km) on I-15 near the Nevada-California line.
No date has been announced for work to start, but officials have said it might be operational by the start of the Los Angeles Summer Olympics in 2028.

It actually would go from Las Vegas to San Bernadino. The connection from San Bernadino to LA would be via a Metrolink commuter train with limited capacity.

Yeah, call it a travel day.
I drove the LA-Barstow-Bakersfield-Vegas (Westminister-Nellis)route many times.
In the summer, and it was always summer, my car would overheat on the long uphill across the 'inland empire'. Had to do without AC.
Yeah, but they're flying the 737 Max. I think I'd rather drive. By the time I slog through traffic to the airport, check my baggage, go through security and wait at the gate I'd be halfway to Vegas. Dunno if a train would be any better even if it's run by a private company. It would be funny to watch a private company do something that Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom are unable to do.

The drive from LA to Las Vegas is about 4 hours and change. This obviously depends on the time of year, time of day, how aggressive the driver is, how many times they stop for bathroom breaks.
The high speed rail will take about 3 hours, much of which is the slow commuter rail from LA to San Bernadino and the change of train to/from the Brightline (Brightline claims this change of train will be seamless but that is BS). There is also major mismatch between the capacity of the Brightline and the capacity of the commuter rail line.
All these are problems that have not been adequately vetted.
Presumably the train trip would be more pleasant and perhaps cost less if it was for one person but it would mean less flexibility once you got to Vegas.

[Federalist] Key members of the since-disbanded Select Committee on January 6th admit in a new PBS documentary that the entire operation was an election-year publicity stunt.
On Wednesday, Frontline PBS published a new documentary, "Democracy on Trial," chronicling the House committee’s work. Pivotal players on the partisan probe conceded in the two-and-half-hour documentary that the panel’s public performances produced for prime-time television were orchestrated as entertainment media.
"The one thing that we knew was the information that we have is compelling," said Illinois congressman-turned CNN commentator Adam Kinzinger. "The thing we needed to do was tell that to the American people in a compelling way."
The Jan. 6 Committee turned to former ABC News President James Goldston to produce their hearings that occurred just months before the 2022 midterms. The panel also hired another producer whose résumé included stints at Bloomberg, ABC News "Nightline," and "Good Morning America."
"I got a call pretty much out of the blue from the January 6th committee," Goldson told the documentary. "They wanted a storyteller."
"While they were brilliant lawyers," Goldston added, "storytelling for a mass audience is not what they do."
"To bring in a guy like this who would think outside the box really did prove to be fruitful," Robert Draper of New York Times Magazine tells the PBS documentarians. "It was Golston who really began to envision this as in a way a kind of miniseries that there would be sort of nine episodes and that these episodes would tackle particular themes."
The first episode in the summer series ultimately pulled dismal ratings despite the committee’s biggest fans attempting to encourage viewership with free ice cream watch parties. Months before the season premier, House Democrats conceded the committee’s investigation was central to the party’s plans to maintain the majority in the November midterms.
[JustTheNews] "How come you don't know anything?" GOP member asks Assistant Secretary of Legislation Melanie Egorin. Another floats cutting her travel funds and salary.
The Department of Health and Human Services is like a child who steals a cookie and, when asked if he stole it, answers "I know there used to be a cookie there."
The chairman of the House's Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic used that analogy to describe a top agency official's explanation at a hearing Wednesday for allegedly "stonewalling" document requests for nearly a year by the chamber's GOP majority.
Assistant Secretary for Legislation Melanie Egorin showed up at the committee's hearing after HHS canceled her scheduled Sept. 28 transcribed interview the day before, claiming she had COVID-19, according to the Nov. 2 subpoena from Chairman Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio.
Egorin repeatedly claimed her staff "responded" or had been "responsive" to GOP demands to see its materials on COVID origins, the science behind vaccine policies and school reopening discussions.
But Wenstrup called her written testimony "somewhat insulting" by touting 30,000 pages that HHS has turned over this Congress, ignoring that HHS gave a single subcommittee in the previous Democrat-controlled Congress 43,000 pages.
The 10,000 pages turned over to Wenstrup's subcommittee – 1,000 of them Tuesday night – included "hundreds of pages" of public news articles as well as heavily redacted communications and simply irrelevant information, the chairman said.
"Responses are not the same as answers," said Wenstrup, like many of the members a physician. "You could just as soon hand us a physiology book."
Not quite a transcript of of the discussion, but close.

All the given the Biden regime has done from day one, is LIE TO US. They took steps to cover it up, punish those speaking the truth, and/or professionally ridicule those releasing real data and facts.
So what type of National Security excuses can the Dept of Health and Human Services, and Fauci's NIH illegally operated “gain-of-function” virus creating labs, offer to justify, their killing of millions and infecting Billion?
Add to it.
* Covid-19 is out there an mutating.
* A suspiciously quickly available and even mandated VAX with its own killing record.
* Plus we are still finding more “gain-of-function” virus creating labs even here in the USA still doing it.

USA vs India
Infected per million population
USA 331,066
India 32,010
Died per million population
USA 3,570
India only 379

[Breitbart] A Christian U.S. Navy veteran has been charged with a hate crime after admitting to beheading the Satanic Temple’s statue on display at the Iowa State Capitol in December.
Michael Cassidy was initially charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief on December 15, but the Polk County Attorney’s Office indicated that the Mississippi man’s admission that he “destroyed the property because of the victim’s [the Satanic Temple] religion” prompted the charges to be upgraded to “third-degree criminal mischief in violation of individual rights, a class D felony.”
The cost to repair or replace the damaged Satan statue would be between $750 and $1,500, prosecutors said.
“The Polk County Attorney’s Office seeks fair and just resolutions of all cases, as we continue to apply the law equally to all, regardless of religion, race, sexual orientation, or economic status,” officials added.
The retired military officer originally made headlines after tearing down and removing the head from the statue.

So the "Satanic Temple" is a "religion" rather than a satirical group or simple affiliation (like the Knights of Columbus)? Why was any group's statue allowed to be on display at the state capitol?
