Supreme Court allows federal agents to cut razor wire Texas installed on US-Mexico border - Restoring An Invasion Route For Illegals!
[ABCnews] A divided Supreme Court on Monday allowed Border Patrol agents to cut razor wire that Texas installed on the U.S.-Mexico border, while a lawsuit over the wire continues.

The justices, by a 5-4 vote, granted an emergency appeal from the Biden administration, which has been in an escalating standoff at the border with Texas and had objected to an appellate ruling in favor of the state.

The concertina wire along roughly 30 miles (48 kilometers) of the Rio Grande near the border city of Eagle Pass is part of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott's broader fight with the administration over immigration enforcement.

Abbott also has authorized installing floating barriers in the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass and allowed troopers to arrest and jail thousands of migrants on trespassing charges. The administration also is challenging those actions in federal court.

A federal appeals court last month forced federal agents to stop cutting the concertina wire. Large numbers of migrants have crossed at Eagle Pass in recent months.

At least the state and federal border guards got a bit of a break before being flooded again.
In court papers, the administration said the wire impedes Border Patrol agents from reaching migrants as they cross the river and that, in any case, federal immigration law trumps Texas’ own efforts to stem the flow of migrants into the country.

Texas officials have argued that federal agents cut the wire to help groups crossing illegally through the river before taking them in for processing.

Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor sided with the administration. Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Clarence Thomas voted with Texas.

No one provided any explantion for their vote.

#1  It is a stay not a ruling but I still don’t like it. One of the few things the national government should be doing is protecting us from invasion. They aren’t abdicating that responsibility; they are using our money to organize and facilitate the trafficking in partnership with cartels. We have said that for a while.
have not been a fan of Abbott’s symbolic gestures in regard to border security, but in this case he has demonstrated to all Americans what the true position s are of all stake holders with regard to border security. Biden is for bulldozing the barriers, handing out cell phones and giving everybody a lift to the nearest Texas town.

#6  Technically, the ruling is correct. The Federal government is responsible for defense of its borders.

The problem is what happens when the Federal government ignores or encourages the invasion of its borders despite the state's wishes? There isn't a clear or defined legal path for it.

That is why Texas and the republicans are telling the feds to go pound sand.

Government Corruption
Kevin Morris invoked attorney privilege at least 17 times to avoid questions about Hunter Biden
[JustTheNews] Morris loaned Hunter Biden at least $5 million and purchased over $800K worth of artwork to keep the first son afloat during his father’s presidential campaign.

In his deposition last week, Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris and his lawyer invoked attorney-client privilege at least 17 times over questions related to his payments and work for Hunter Biden.

According to the transcript of the testimony reviewed by Just the News, Morris said that he began representing Biden about one week after the December 2019 California fundraiser for his father, Joe Biden, who became president in 2020. The details surrounding this meeting were previously reported by Just the News.

Morris’ early representation of Hunter Biden allowed him to invoke the privilege frequently, to avoid answering questions about his first meeting with the first son, how he paid Hunter Biden’s other attorneys and about the planning for Hunter Biden’s defiant speech in front of the Capitol while avoiding complying with his first congressional subpoena.

Specifically, Morris attempted to invoke the privilege regarding his acquisition of one of Hunter Biden's companies after Joe Biden's inauguration. Additionally, he denied claims that he was motivated by political concerns to help the first son solve his tax issues and stay afloat during his father's campaign, which was indicated by evidence from the IRS whistleblowers last year.

Morris did not respond to a request for comment from Just the News about his testimony.

According to the transcript, Morris claimed that his legal representation of Hunter Biden was "global and complete" and therefore argued that almost any detail of their relationship is off limits to congressional investigators. Yet despite this, Morris told the committee that he had not represented Hunter directly in the past three years.

In one example, Morris refused to answer how much in loans he provided to Hunter Biden to pay his legal fees.

"So have you paid millions of dollars for Hunter Biden’s legal fees via loans?" an investigator asked.

"Mr. Morris only knows that from his attorney-client relationship with Mr. Biden and consequently cannot answer that question," Morris’ lawyer answered.

Morris also initially attempted to invoke the privilege when questioned about his acquisition of Hunter Biden’s Skaneateles — a company that owned a stake in Bohai Harvest RST, a Chinese company from one of Hunter Biden’s initial deals in the country. Morris acquired Hunter’s stake in November 2021, less than a year after Joe Biden was inaugurated.

"How did it come up that you were going to purchase Skaneateles? Or why did you buy Skaneateles of all the companies that Hunter Biden was involved with? Why that one?" investigators asked.

"That’s privileged. I am not going to answer that because of attorney-client privilege," Morris responded.

However, after a brief recess from questioning, his attorney convinced him that he had to answer the question and Morris reversed course.

"I did the transaction because, you know, I evaluated it as a businessman, and I thought it was something that could be a very successful investment," Morris said in his new answer.

"[B]ut I did diligence on the assets. I knew what ... Hunter paid for it in the beginning, and I saw, and I still see upside," he continued.

Yet, earlier in the questioning, Morris was apparently not well informed on what Skaneateles was or what investments BHR makes.

"What kind of company was Skaneateles?" the investigators asked. "I mean, I don’t know. An LLC, I think," Morris answered.

"And do you know what kind of investments that BHR makes?" Morris was asked.

"I knew better at one time. I remember going through them. I don’t remember exactly what they were. I think they were — I don’t know. I think they were infrastructure," he answered.

In an effort to justify his expansive attorney-client privilege claims, Morris also claimed, despite not representing his client directly for three years, he is "like a general counsel" in Hunter Biden’s "virtual corporation," meaning that he is involved in everything with the first son.

"Counsel, in my job I represent high-profile individuals. ... [H]igh-profile individuals have basically virtual corporations. And in those virtual corporations, they have all kinds of staff and assistants. You know, agents and managers ... publicists. You know, whatever. And what I do is I oversee ... sort of the squad. Sort of like a general counsel," Morris told the committees.

"But I am involved in everything. I am involved in everything. And the same is with Hunter. If you check my retainer agreements, you’ll see that it’s not — it says all matters," he continued.

A conservative legal group has raised concerns about Morris’ legal representation of Biden while he paid his bills and debts, alleging it could be a violation of California Bar rules.

America First Legal filed a complaint with the state bar against Morris for allegedly violating its Rules of Professional Conduct.

From a Jan 6th Political Prisoner legal stand point.

When Government officials and/or Government Representatives restrict, toss out, or hide evidence from defendants, it is grounds for immediate appeal due to malicious prosecution.

The guilty parties, would be open to a number of various criminal felony charges and indictments, civil lawsuits and more. All due their hiding, deleting and or tampering with possible defensive evidence.

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell probed for affair with married cop behind $14K taxpayer-funded Dubai trip
[NY Post] Something's in the air tonight, Black Democrat Official's legs, apparently, Fani?
Embattled New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell is being probed for an alleged affair with a local cop who billed taxpayers $14,000 to accompany her on a recent trip to Dubai, according to a report.

FBI officials are investigating time Cantrell spent with NOPD officer Jeffrey Vappie at a private apartment both on and off the clock — a relationship that reportedly led to the dissolution of his marriage, according to Fox 8.

Cantrell took Vappie — her official security guard prior to his removal — to a "climate action" gathering in Dubai in December.

While a mayoral group footed most of Cantrell’s $24,000 tab, Louisiana taxpayers funded Vappie’s airfare, hotel and other expenses totaling $14,000, according to the outlet.

Cantrell traveled first class, while Vappie was relegated to fly coach, according to Fox 8.

Local outlets first reported on their alleged affair in November, prompting Vappie’s wife to file for divorce and directly allege a sexual relationship between Cantrell and the city cop.

The officer admitted the adulterous activity to his former spouse, court papers state.

Both parties have denied trysting at a city-owned apartment — despite video surveillance showing them entering and exiting the residence together at all hours.

Cantrell has forcefully denied the reports on several occasions.

"Based on the false allegations that come my way, by the time I’ve finished this job, literally, (I’ll be) accused of sleeping with half of the city of New Orleans," she said at a press conference this month after being asked about Vappie. "Both genders and all pronouns."

In a text exchange with a NOLA.com reporter, Cantrell asserted that she was being scrutinized because she is a woman.

Vappie remains a New Orleans cop but has been removed from Cantrell’s security detail in the controversy’s wake.

Both Cantrell and Vappie have been barred from using the Upper Pontalba residence since footage of their entries and exits came to light.

Call at DAVOS to ban coffee for the masses
[Infowars] The consumption of coffee is causing CO2 to pollute the environment, unelected bureaucrats attending the World Economic Forum claimed.

Speaking last Wednesday at the globalist confab in Davos, Switzerland, Swiss banker Hubert Keller said coffee drinkers should be mindful they’re contributing tons of CO2 pollution into the atmosphere.
Banning coffee would absolutely not fly in Switzerland. It’s one of the basic food groups, along with bread, cheese, chocolate, and pastries.
“Basically the coffee that we all drink emits between 15 and 20 tonne of CO2 per tonne of coffee,” Keller said in a viral clip from the conference.

“So we should all know that. This is, every time we drink coffee we are basically putting CO2 into the atmosphere,” he claimed.

“…And one of the reason is because most of the coffee plantation or most of the coffee is produced through monoculture and monoculture is also affected by climate change,” Keller said, adding, “The quality of these nature assets is deteriorating quite rapidly.”

The globalists’ attack on coffee, the delicious black beverage that millions worldwide enjoy daily, is illustrative of how the WEF want the “useless eater” peasant class to have nothing and be happy, under the guise of saving the planet.

In the past, the WEF has been urging people to transition to a plant-based diet and to use electric instead of gas-powered vehicles, despite both’s obvious flaws.

Meanwhile, elite WEF attendees are unconcerned with their own CO2 output, as evidenced in a recent video of Biden climate czar John Kerry struggling to justify the carbon footprint of his numerous jet trips to the Davos conference.
