'Disease X' and the Fourth World War. What else did global elites discuss in Davos?
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

[REGNUM] The 54th World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland is over. Following the event, representatives of the world elite from more than 120 countries were forced to admit: the largest powers and even states of lower rank entered into fierce competition for the right to determine the new world order. And this competition leaves no room not only for consensus, but also for any collective decisions at all.

INHUMAN WORLD
The slogan of this year's Davos Forum was “Restoring Trust”, referring to such basic principles as transparency, consent and responsibility. But the world around us is changing rapidly, and not at all in the style of these slogans. He became more technocratic and unprincipled. Why?

Firstly, technology is rapidly becoming the main priority and goal of societies moving into the future, relegating man and his mentality to the background. The machine thinks, decides and does better and better, but does not feel or reason anything, which in the modern world is perceived as a good thing.

Man, as a unique personality, the bearer and owner of the sensory mind, becomes only an auxiliary element of the technological chain, and as it develops and improves, it becomes less and less necessary. As a result, such a society no longer cares at all what worries, inspires or causes boredom in a person, what he believes or does not believe in, and so on.

At the current forum in Davos, there was no longer any debate about how to overcome inequality and about any potentially possible socio-political and economic alternatives to the current model of capitalism in the era of the end of history.

Secondly, the fourth world war is de facto going on on the planet. The first two, as we know, were hot, the third - cold and the fourth - a proxy war. So, with each new war, the participants were less and less guided by any rules and laws of its conduct. The current proxy war is a phenomenon of a completely new order, for which rules and laws have not yet been invented and norms have not been agreed upon.

These misunderstandings are superimposed on the growing technocraticism discussed above. As a result, we get an increasingly inhuman and dehumanized world, and no one yet knows how to live in it.

But the “fat cats,” as the participants at the Davos rally are sometimes called, do not seem to want to talk about these heavy matters of the brutal realism of our time. It’s easier for them to close in a restaurant, talk about the usual pleasant things, transparency, consent, responsibility. And do not look out the windows, so as not to see how the Titanic, on which they are sailing, is slowly sinking.

EXPERTS NOTICE ONLY OBVIOUS RISKS
The authors of The Global Risk Report, released on the eve of the forum, also tried to avoid the most deeply painful and fundamental problems.

They saw serious risks in climate change and the spread of misinformation amid a large number of elections in 2024. With nearly three billion people heading to the polls around the world, the spread of misinformation “could undermine the legitimacy of newly elected governments,” the report says.

This could lead to civil unrest ranging from "violent protests and hate crimes to civil confrontation and terrorism," experts say.

Governments will respond by curtailing and stifling democracy, and by increasingly arrogating to themselves the right to determine what is true and what is not. Alternative sources of information, opinions, and even more so ideas, will be expelled and suppressed in every possible way. The range of countries in which this practice will become mainstream will expand significantly.

According to the report's authors, there remains a high probability of an economic crisis. They believe that the conditions that led to past crises are fundamentally still there. Therefore, weakened financial systems require only the smallest shock to overcome the critical point of sustainability.

On January 17, IMF First Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath spoke more substantively on this matter in Davos. In her opinion, the banking system as a whole is holding up quite well in the face of rising interest rates and ongoing conflicts in the world, but there are risks for some banks in the US and China.

And these, as you know, are the largest banking systems today. And as soon as something more or less significant bursts there, a domino effect can begin, which will drag down the financial, debt and construction markets, households, and so on.

The threat of the “disease X” pandemic was also widely discussed on the sidelines of the forum. True, it doesn’t exist as such yet, but for some reason its appearance is expected like the arrival of a regular bus.

This topic did not come as a surprise. It has been being discussed with increasing intensity for several months now and now, through Davos, it has been brought to the attention of those world elites who were not yet aware.

Formally, its discussion is organized with the aim of preparing national healthcare systems for prompt and coordinated actions in the event of a mortal threat to humanity. In fact, according to some analysts, globalists are afraid of a future epidemic, saying that we must “join forces” in advance and in everything, continue the construction of “Globalistan,” otherwise we will all die out separately.

Has the COVID-19 pandemic taught you anything? And this was only a rehearsal of what could happen, and individual systems will no longer cope with the future universal evil. North Korea is an example of this: even there, with all its isolationism, Covid has penetrated. And with “disease X” everything will be much faster and more terrible, as believe the adherents of an inevitable new pandemic.

In general, there is a possibility that the West is systematically preparing the world for a new pandemic with the goal of rebooting globalization and is already making efforts in this direction under the guise of anti-virus research.

They also spoke on the sidelines of the summit about the growing threat of artificial intelligence.

The topic is also not new and has been around for almost the entire past year. Everyone is warning about the dangers of AI, but work to improve it is proceeding by leaps and bounds and is becoming increasingly classified.

The situation here is very reminiscent of a nuclear project.

Science fiction writers and futurologists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries actively wrote about the danger of the emergence of weapons of monstrous destructive power. They painted terrible pictures of its possible impact on humans and the environment. But it had no effect on anyone. All leading countries secretly carried out their own nuclear projects and sought, by hook or by crook, to get ahead of their competitors in this. As a result, the bomb appeared and was used.

The same will obviously happen with AI.

THE ONLY WAY OUT
What to do with all these serious risks and challenges, both noted in the report and those that its authors did not notice or deliberately tried to avoid?

Alas, no viable recipes are offered. The conclusion of a more than hundred-page document fits into just eight pages, which in itself shows: the global elites do not have an answer to the process of collapse of the system at the head of which they stand.

There is no trust in the world and there never will be, because interests do not converge. They can't get close. The successful capitalism of Western civilization or the “garden behind a high fence,” according to Josep Borell, was built through the robbery of Africa, Latin America and part of Asia.

“Sadiq” has never recognized and does not recognize its equality with the “jungle” surrounding it (again, according to Borell). This is visible in everything. In the same regard to the Russian special operation in Ukraine. They are going to confiscate our assets, although they say that they are not parties to the conflict. We will, of course, answer.

After this, what kind of trust will there be on the part of global investors, for example, from China and Asia in general? And European ones, who will suffer the most from Russia’s retaliatory measures.

The British are advising Ukraine to issue $300 billion in bonds against future reparation payments from Russia. And where are the similar bonds in relation to Serbia (in Belgrade there are still skeletons of buildings destroyed by NATO bombing)? Where are they in relation to other countries, the same once flourishing Libya? There is no talk of changing this paradigm. Therefore, there is and cannot be any talk of any restoration of trust.

And finally, about the discussions around the so-called Ukrainian “peace formula”, which took place almost throughout the entire forum. Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazzio Cassis noted that there is nothing to discuss here without Russia’s participation.

But Russia expressed its opinion even before the special operation. First verbally, and then inviting the West to sign guarantees of general security on the European continent, taking into account the interests and concerns of Russia. We were refused. This problem has not been resolved. It is being resolved through military means, since the diplomatic path has been closed to us.

For the West, Ukraine today is a kind of penal battalion, which is not to be pitied and which must literally, with blood, earn the right to sit next to its masters on a side stool. According to this logic, the fewer Ukrainians survive, the better for the owners of the stool.

After all, even if they somehow launch a mechanism for financing Ukraine with assets stolen from Russia, then this money is finite in any case. What then? Who will feed this “walk-in-the-field”?

No one will seriously invest there. Firstly, Europe does not need a competitor either in industry or in agriculture. They already pour Baltic milk beyond the quota into ravines.

Secondly, corruption in Ukraine is a structural phenomenon. In order to at least noticeably reduce it, it will be necessary to change the entire elite by 100%. And this is impossible in the current conditions, since either the same pro-Western corrupt officials from the second echelon will come, or completely different people. But it is not a fact that they will be obedient puppets of Western masters.

There is only one way out of this whole tangle of problems and contradictions - a comprehensive reformatting of the world order. Unfortunately, there is no other way.
