US CENTCOM head flies into Israel as it prepares for Gaza invasion
[Jpost] The top US general overseeing American forces in the Middle East made an unannounced trip to Israel on Tuesday, saying he hoped to ensure its military has what it needs as it fights a deepening war against Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

The trip by Army General Michael "Erik" Kurilla, head of US Central Command, is the latest by a senior US official to Israel ahead of an expected ground assault by Israel's military in Gaza. It comes a day before a planned visit by US President Joe Biden to the country.
Where was he, and the advance team, last week?

Opposition leader in Chad delays return from exile
[AFRICANEWS] The leader of Chad's opposition party, les Transformateurs (the Transformers), is postponing his return from exile to next month.

Succès Masra had been due to return to the country on October 20 but says he is now delaying on the advice of the president of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Masra fled Chad a year ago following a deadly crackdown on protesters opposed to election delays by the ruling military junta.

He vowed last month to return home by 20 October, the anniversary of the protests.

On Sunday, however, he issued a statement saying Congolese President Félix Tshisekedi, the current chairperson of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) bloc, advised him to delay his return until early November.

He did not say the date he now plans to return on.

His postponement comes after Chad's junta reportedly ordered airlines not to fly the opposition leader home and to provide the names of all passengers travelling to the capital N'Djamena.

In July, the junta issued an arrest warrant for Masra, accusing him of inciting hatred and rebellion.

The ruling junta, led by Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, has been in power since 2021.

Israel stops arms sales to Colombia, Bogotá threatens to cut ties
[Jpost] Israel paused arms sales to Colombia over what Israel’s foreign ministry called Colombian President Gustavo Petro’s “hostile and anti-Semitic statements,” and Petro responded by threatening to suspend all diplomatic ties with Israel.

Since Hamas’ attacks on Israel on Oct. 7, Petro — Colombia’s first left-wing president in decades — has continuously written pro-Palestinian posts on X, the social platform formerly known as Twitter, and argued with Jewish leaders.

In recent days, he has said Hamas is the “invention of Mossad to divide the Palestinian people” and compared Israel’s bombing of Gaza to Nazism.

Israel will be stopping all security exports to Colombia

On Sunday, Lior Haiat, an Israeli foreign affairs ministry spokesperson, posted on X that Israel would be stopping all security exports to Colombia as a “first measure.” Colombia and Israel signed a free trade agreement in 2020, and Colombia’s army currently uses armored vehicles, machine guns and other weapons provided by Israel in its fight against drug cartels in the country.

In response, Petro responded on X with a tweet currently pinned to the top of his profile, saying “If we have to suspend foreign relations with Israel, we suspend them. We do not support genocides.”

In the same tweet, he added: “Someday the army and government of Israel will ask us for forgiveness for what their men did in our land, unleashing the genocide. I will hug them and they will cry for the murder of Auschwitz and Gaza, and for the Colombian Auschwitz.’

Israel’s ambassador to Colombia, Gali Dagan, has also been feuding with Petro and other pro-Palestinian Colombians on X. In response to Petro’s claim that Hamas is an invention of Israel, Dagan sarcastically wrote: “It is true, Mr. President @petrogustavo, as you wrote in this trill, indeed #Hamas is an invention of the Mossad. However, I would like to share with you additional information from our intelligence services, which are some of the best in the world: The Elders of Zion founded the Gulf Clan. There are still Jews, with large, aquiline noses, who command the Gaitanista Self-Defense Forces of Colombia.”
*Snicker* There are those who don’t deserve diplomatic courtesy. But what an example of Sabra bluntness!
In response to Dagan’s comments, Colombian Foreign Minister Álvaro Leyva Durán wrote on X: “The history of universal diplomacy will record as a milestone the senseless rudeness of Israel’s ambassador in Colombia towards President Gustavo. Shame on him. He should at least apologize and leave.”

Caucasus/Russia/Central Asia
Protesters in Baku paid tribute to the victims of terrorist attacks in Israel
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] A memorial ceremony for the victims of Hamas attacks was held at the Baku Synagogue of Mountain Jews, the participants of which expressed solidarity with the residents of Israel.

As the "Caucasian Knot" reported, hostilities between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement began on October 7 with the firing of hundreds of rockets into Israeli territory. The Israel Defense Forces responded by launching the military operation “Iron Swords” against Hamas, after which Israel announced a blockade of the Gaza Strip: supplies of water, food, electricity, medicine, and fuel were suspended. Thousands of people died on both sides .

By October 13, seven natives of Azerbaijan had died as a result of fighting in Israel. 72 ethnic Azerbaijanis have been evacuated from Israel, the embassy in Tel Aviv said. After this, there was no new data on the dead natives of Azerbaijan.

On October 15, a ceremony was held in Baku to commemorate the victims of Hamas attacks against Israel. Representatives of the Jewish community of Azerbaijan and the country's public took part in the event. They showed solidarity with the people of Israel and expressed support for them, the Israeli Embassy in Baku reported.

“As a sign of unity and solidarity, hundreds of representatives of the Jewish community and the Azerbaijani people came to the Mountain Jews synagogue in Baku on October 15, where they expressed condolences and support for the death of 1,300 civilians as a result of terrorist attacks by Hamas,” the embassy said in a statement, translation which was carried out by a correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot".

The protesters condemned crimes against humanity, the statement said. “In these difficult moments, we are determined to reaffirm our joint commitment to solidarity and humanity,” said the head of the Mountain Jewish community of Azerbaijan, Milikh Yevdaev.

Hamas has chosen the path of destroying the Jewish state; the struggle may be long and difficult, says Israeli Ambassador George Dick.

During the ceremony, its participants read prayers in memory of the tragically killed 1,300 Israelis and lit candles. “This majestic moment is a demonstration that the Jewish community and the Azerbaijani people stand with Israel in their darkest days, proof of their solidarity,” the Israeli Embassy noted.

Representatives of the community of the Baku Synagogue of European and Georgian Jews took part in the ceremony, said one of the community members. “To support the people of Israel in these difficult days, hundreds of people came to our synagogue - representatives of various nationalities - Jews, Azerbaijanis, Russians, representatives of other nations,” he told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.

Let us remind you that the escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict did not affect the work of synagogues in Baku and the Guba region, and they continue to operate as usual. However, according to police, security measures near synagogues have been strengthened since the outbreak of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The "Caucasian Knot" also wrote that on October 8, the working group of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan on interparliamentary relations with Israel condemned the Hamas attack. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry called for de-escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone and expressed condolences over the deaths of civilians in Israel and the Gaza Strip.

Official Baku has taken a neutral position regarding the escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone; sentiments in support of the Jewish state prevail in society, but there are religious groups supporting Palestine, noted analysts interviewed by the Caucasian Knot. In their opinion, such support for Israel hardly threatens to worsen relations with Iran.

Macron Calls for 'Ruthless' Deportation of All Migrants with Ties to Islamic Extremism from France
Good.
[BREITBART] French President Emmanuel Macron called for all radical Islamist migrants colonists'>colonists Migrants
residing in La Belle France to be removed from the country in the wake of the suspected Islam-inspired liquidation of a middle school teacher on Friday.

President Macron has tasked Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin to carry out a "ruthless" examination of the files of those who "carry hatred and terrorist ideologies" over the next 48 hours in order to remove foreign-born Islamists from La Belle France, Le Figaro reports.

It comes after Dominique Bernard, a middle school teacher in the city of Arras, was allegedly stabbed to death by a suspected Islamist named Mohammed Mogouchkov. The Russian-born suspect was reportedly on the country’s holy warrior watch list — referred to as having an "S file" — prior to the attack and had also reportedly been subject to a deportation order in 2014 that was successfully quashed by appeals from pro-migrant groups.

Darmanin has said out of the over 20,000 S files — not all of which remain active — there are at least 489 holy warrior foreigners who are considered to be a danger to the country residing in La Belle France. A further 300 radical foreigners are currently in prison or under house arrest. The minister said that the government will seek to "systematically deport" them following the end of their prison sentence.

Darmanin is set to meet with officials on Tuesday "to re-examine the administrative situation of all foreign nationals followed by the intelligence services under radical Islamism, by systematically initiating procedures of removal and expulsion." This will not only include illegal migrants colonists'>colonists Migrants but those who are legally in the country as well by the removal of residence permits and asylum protections.

Israel war: AOC, Tlaib, Omar, and others sign onto bill calling for ceasefire with Hamas
[Washington Examiner] Several hard-line progressive Democrats introduced legislation Monday in the House of Representatives that would call on Israel and terrorist group Hamas to agree to a ceasefire in their war following the terrorist organization's fatal attacks on the Jewish state, killing hundreds of civilians and taking hostages back to Gaza.
Expect heavy flak as you approach the target area.
In the bill, called the "Ceasefire Now Resolution," Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Andre Carson (D-IN), Summer Lee (D-PA), Delia C. Ramirez (D-IL), Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ), Jesus "Chuy" Garcia (D-IL), Jonathan Jackson (D-IL), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Ayanna Pressley (D-MA), and Nydia Velazquez (D-NY) asked that Congress call "for an immediate deescalation and cease-fire in Israel and occupied Palestine."
All Dipshits Democrats
Tlaib, who is of Palestinian descent and has a Palestinian flag outside her congressional office, drawing criticism during Israel's war, said, "We need legislation that saves as many lives as possible, no matter one’s faith or ethnicity."

"I am proud to join my colleagues and a coalition of human rights advocates in calling for de-escalation, ceasefire, and a strong humanitarian response that prevents more devastating civilian casualties across the region," the representative said.

According to Bush, a prominent supporter of Black Lives Matter, "I am grieving for every Palestinian, Israeli, and American life lost to this violence, and my heart breaks for all those who will be forever traumatized because of it."

She explained that her legislation calls for deescalation and a ceasefire, as well as humanitarian assistance for "the 2.2 million people under siege and trapped in Gaza."

"The United States bears a unique responsibility to exhaust every diplomatic tool at our disposal to prevent mass atrocities and save lives. We can’t bomb our way to peace, equality, and freedom. With thousands of lives lost and millions more at stake, we need a ceasefire now," she said.

Bowman, who was recently forced to condemn a rally promoted by the Democratic Socialists of America in New York City celebrating the terrorist attacks on Israel, added: "The events that have unfolded over the past week in Israel and Gaza are horrifying violations of human rights and international law that have resulted in the devastating loss of thousands of civilian lives."

Controversy Erupts Over Calls For US To Accept Gaza Refugees Amid Israel–Hamas War
[ET via ZERO] Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.), a member of the left-wing "Squad" in Congress, was cited by the New York Post as calling for the United States to "welcome refugees from Palestine," while Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) has introduced legislation that would block people with Palestinian passports from being admitted into the country.

"We can't let President Biden abuse our parole and visa rules to bring unvetted Palestinians into American communities the way he did with thousands of unvetted Afghans," Mr. Tiffany said in a statement posted on X, referring to the Biden administration's decision to let 76,000 unvetted Afghan refugees come to the United States following the U.S. withdrawal and Taliban takeover of the country.

"I introduced the GAZA Act to protect America’s national security."

He also shared the contents of the Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission (GAZA) Act exclusively with Breitbart.

The proposal would block the Biden administration's use of the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) parole mechanism from letting Palestinians settle in the United States, according to the text of the measure, as cited by Breitbart.

Cornell University professor calls Hamas terror attack 'exhilarating' and 'exciting'
[NYPOST] A Cornell University professor was caught on camera telling students Hamas
...always the voice of sweet reason...
’ terror attack on Israel — which has left more than 1,400 dead — was "exhilarating" and "energizing."

The remarks were made at a pro-Paleostine protest by Russell Rickford, an associate professor of history
...gotta do something to make the ol’ CV stand out in these troubled times, and best to do it in way most acceptable to one’s peers. And besides, he’s a self-proclaimed anti-capitalist activist, which means Antifa, so he has a rep to maintain...
at the top-tier Ithaca, New York, school and posted online Sunday by a student who called them "shameful."

The footage of Rickford’s impassioned speech was also shared with The Post by two other tipsters. They declined to say when and where exactly the rally took place, but both said they were shocked by the brazen remarks.

The prof said the coordinated Oct. 7 attack, in which snuffies broke through concrete walls and paraglided into Israel to indiscriminately murdered civilians "shifted the balance of politics and punctured the illusion of invincibility" of Israel, which has imposed a blockade on the Gazoo
...Hellhole adjunct to Israel and Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, inhabited by Gazooks. The place was acquired in the wake of the 1967 War and then presented to Paleostinian control in 2006 by Ariel Sharon, who had entered his dotage. It is currently ruled with an iron fist by Hamas with about the living conditions you'd expect. It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. The ruling turbans then wave the bloody shirt and holler loudly about oppression and disproportionate response...
Strip since terrorist group Hamas seized power there in 2007.

"That’s what they’ve done. You don’t have to be a Hamas supporter to recognize it," he said.

United States turns any peace agreements into 'Minsk' agreements
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.

[RIA] With their characteristic pragmatism, the Americans decided that mutual genocide of Israelis and Palestinians could become a very profitable business for them. It’s not just that blood flows. “America must return to the Middle East,” American political scientists hurried. The trouble is that America never left there after World War II. This is why so many military conflicts are raging in the Middle East.

UN Security Council rejects Russia's resolution on Gaza that fails to mention Hamas
UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The U.N. Security Council rejected a Russian resolution Monday night that condemned violence and terrorism against civilians but made no mention of Hamas, whose surprise attack that killed 1,300 Israelis was the worst Jewish massacre since the World War II Nazi Holocaust.

Only four countries joined Russia in voting for the resolution — China, United Arab Emirates, Mozambique and Gabon. Four countries voted against it — the United States, Britain, France and Japan. The other six countries abstained. Adoption needs a minimum of nine "yes" votes in the 15-member council.

The U.N.’s most powerful body, which is charged with maintaining international peace and security, has failed to respond to Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel and to Israel response with retaliatory airstrikes that have killed 2,750 and an order to Gazans in the north to head south to avoid an expected ground war.

Israel-Palestine-Jordan
Would-be blood donors at Tel Aviv hospital today must register first
Standard empowered hospital administration obfuscation.
I hate those guys.
Where are the neighborhood Red Cross donation busses?

[Jpost] People in the Dan Region who want to donate blood on Sunday must register in advance and come at the appointed time between and noon and 7:00 p.m. to Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center.

Magen David Adom blood donor facilities will be open on the minus-2 floor of the Sammy Ofer building’s parking lot.

Due to the directives of the Home Front Command that require that the waiting area and the blood donation area be protected, would-be donors must come at the exact time for which they registered.
Etc… The rest of the articles lays out the same kinds of rules for blood donation that we’ve had in the States for as long as I’ve been paying attention. The need for an appointment makes me think there are long lines of people waiting to donate, or they anticipate the possibility, and they’re trying to manage that.

State Dept says Biden will visit Israel on Wednesday
[Blaze] U.S. Secretary of State Blinken announced on Monday that President Biden will visit Israel even as the country continues to hammer away at Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

"On Wednesday, President Biden will visit Israel," said Blinken.
Blame the weather, logistics, anything. Don't do anything until we get there.
"He's coming here at a critical moment for Israel, for the region, and for the world. And he's coming here to do the following. First, the president will reaffirm the United States' solidarity with Israel and our ironclad commitment to its security," he added.

"President Biden will again make clear, as he has done unequivocally since Hamas' slaughter of 1,400 people, including at least 30 Americans, that Israel has the right, and indeed the duty, to defend its people from Hamas and other terrorists and to prevent future attacks," Blinken continued.

He went on say the president would make the visit a warning to state and non-state actors against trying to take advantage of the opportunity to attack Israel.

Headlines read: "Biden ends war and potential nuclear conflict in the Middle East - saves millions of lives."

#3  Why did the State Department more or less put no restrictions on Ukrainian retaliation, including operations against the Russian Black Sea Fleet—but the Secretary of State almost immediately called for a “ceasefire” to prevent Israeli retaliation, a mortal sin if he had dared say that about Ukraine’s similar response to aggression? Would an American diplomat lecture Ukraine about ending the “cycle of violence?”

Who funds Hamas?
[GEO.TV] Paleostinian group Hamas

It periodically attacks the Hated Zionist Entity whenever Iran needs a ruckus created or the hard boyz get bored, getting thumped by the IDF in return. However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip, will face even more obstacles in accessing funds after the rampage by the group's button men that killed hundreds of Israelis. Israel has responded with the heaviest bombardment of Gaza in 75 years of conflict.

Earlier this week, Israeli police said they froze a Barclays bank account the authorities said was linked to Hamas fundraising and blocked cryptocurrency accounts used to gather donations, without specifying how many accounts or the value of the assets.

The move provided a glimpse of a complex financial web, some legitimate, much hidden, that underpins Hamas, or the Islamic Resistance® Movement, and its government in the Gaza Strip, which it has run since 2007.

Matthew Levitt, a former US official specialised in counterterrorism, estimated the bulk of Hamas's budget of more than $300 million came from taxes on business, as well as from countries including Iran

The nation is today noted for spontaneously taking over other countries' embassies, maintaining whorehouses run by clergymen, involvement in international drug trafficking, and financing sock puppet militias to extend the regime's influence. or charities.

Last February, the State Department said that Hamas raises funds in other Gulf countries and gets donations from Paleostinians, other expatriates, and its own charities.

Hamas, sanctioned as a terrorist organization by the United States and countries such as Britannia, had increasingly used cryptocurrencies, credit cards, or contrived trade deals to avoid mounting international restrictions, Levitt said.

"Hamas has been one of the more successful users of crypto," said Tom Robinson, co-founder of blockchain research firm Elliptic.

However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
this year Hamas said it would back away from crypto, after a spate of losses. Cryptocurrency's ledger system can make such transactions traceable.

Blockchain researchers TRM Labs said this week in a research note that crypto fundraising has previously increased following rounds of violence involving Hamas. After fighting in May 2021, Hamas-controlled crypto addresses received more than $400,000, TRM Labs said.

However,
by candlelight every wench is handsome...
since last weekend's violence, prominent Hamas-linked support groups had moved just a few thousand dollars through crypto, TRM noted.

"One likely reason for the low donation volume is that Israeli authorities are targeting them immediately," TRM said, adding that Israel had seized cryptocurrency worth "tens of millions of dollars" from Hamas-linked addresses in recent years.

Between December 2021 and April this year, Israel seized almost 190 crypto accounts it said were linked to Hamas.

SHIPS AND SHELLS
Whether through crypto or other means, Hamas's allies have found ways to get money to Gaza. The US State Department has said that Iran provides up to $100 million annually in support to Paleostinian groups including Hamas, and has cited methods of moving the money through shell companies, shipping transactions, and precious metals.

Iranian authorities did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

By last year, Hamas had established a secret network of companies managing $500 million of investments in companies from The Sick Man of Europe Turkey

, the US Treasury has said, announcing sanctions on the firms in May 2022.

Israel has long accused Iran's holy manal rulers of stoking violence by supplying arms to Hamas. Tehran, which does not recognise Israel, says it gives moral and financial support to the group.

Backing the Paleostinian cause has been a pillar of the Islamic Theocratic Republic since the 1979 revolution.

Gas-rich Qatar too has paid hundreds of millions of dollars to Gaza since 2014, at one point spending $30 million per month to help operate the enclave's sole power plant and to support needy families and public servants in the Hamas-run government.

"Qatari aid provides 100 dollars to the poorest Paleostinian families and extends the period of electricity during a day in Gaza," a Qatari official said in response to a request for government comment, adding that it had helped "maintain stability and quality of life for ... Paleostinian families".

Qatar walks a foreign policy tightrope, hosting the region's largest US military base, the Taliban
...the once and current oppressors of Afghanistan...
, and other groups, often allowing it to mediate.

CASH RULES
Qatar's funding for Gaza actually passes through Israel, a source familiar with the process said.

The funds are transferred electronically from Qatar to Israel. Israeli and UN officials hand-carry cash over the border to Gaza.

The cash is distributed directly to needy families and public servants in Gaza and each family or individual must sign next to their name that they've received the cash. One copy of that sheet goes to Israel, one goes to the UN and one goes to Qatar.

"Qatari aid to the Gaza Strip is fully coordinated with Israel, the UN and the US," the Qatari government official said.

In recent years, Qatar bought fuel from Israel for Gaza's sole power station. It also sent Egyptian fuel that Hamas can resell, using the proceeds for salaries.

Stephen Reimer of the think tank, Royal United Services Institute, predicted fresh attempts to fully restrict the group's access to formal financial channels would have limited success. "Their financing tactics have grown to circumvent these."

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
Iran Threatens US
[via OTP] We announced to the Zionist regime, via its supporters, that if it does not stop its crimes in Gaza, tomorrow will be too late," Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in an interview with Aljazeera while on a Qatar visit on Sunday.

Iran cannot just watch this situation as a bystander. If the scope of the war expands, heavy losses will be inflicted on the United States, Amir-Abdollahian further warned.
