[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals #4: "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."
  • San Mateo officials want to place 100 homeless people in La Quinta hotel

  • Hundreds of Millbrae residents packed out a meeting to protest the plans

  • They drowned out speakers with booing in scenes akin to a sports stadium

-Short Attention Span Theater-
Top Trump advisor Stephen Miller unveils tough anti-migrant tactics of a second administration: From land and sea military deployments to building more border walls and buoys along the Rio Grande - and even denying entry to Marxists
[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] One of Donald Trump's top advisors has unveiled the tough anti-migrant crackdown the former president will launch if voters award him another stint in the White House in next year's vote.

Stephen Miller, a senior Trump advisor, says a second Trump administration would construct more wall on the US-Mexico border, extend the floating barrier on the Rio Grande, and deploy a naval blockade against drug traffickers.

Speaking with Axios, Miller unveiled other measures, including an expansion of the so-called 'Muslim ban' on arrivals from mostly Middle Eastern and African countries, and screening to prevent Marxists from entering the US.

The rollout comes after US Customs and Border Protection revealed on Friday that agents processed 183,000 migrants in July, a 33 percent increase on June, as illegal people flows alarm millions of voters.

'For those passionate about securing our immigration system... the first 100 days of the Trump administration will be pure bliss,' Miller told the online news outlet.

Afghanistan
China Turns to Taliban to Control ETIM: Exclusive on Bid to Woo Guv of Afghanistan’s Badakshan
[News18] Wary of the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM)
...also known as Turkistan Islamic Party (TIP), the Uighur jihadi group has branches in Al Qaeda’s Al Nusra organization in Syria and in the Al Qaeda organization in Afghanistan ...
and continuing with its interest in Afghanistan, China is now wooing the governor of Badakshan, according to a top diplomatic source.

"The Chinese are keen to control the ETIM. They plan to offer a lucrative deal to the governor. As the governor is in The Sick Man of Europe Turkey
...the only place on the face of the earth that misses the Ottoman Empire...
, his deputy is expected to attend the meeting," he added.

The ETIM is a separatist Death Eater outfit in Xinjiang which allegedly has links with radical outfits such as al Qaeda and Islamic State
...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that they were al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're really very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allah around with every other sentence, but to hear western pols talk they're not really Moslems....
(IS or ISIS).

News18 had previously reported on China’s demand that Taliban
...the Pashtun equivalent of men...
crack down on the ETIM. Kabul has, however, so far rebuffed the demand, saying the activists have been "our guests for a very long period of time".

CCTVs, BELT & ROAD INTITIATIVE
Recently, there were reports that Chinese telecom giant Huawei has got sanctions from the top levels of the Haqqani Network in Afghanistan to install CCTV cameras across provinces, which had led to concerns that Beijing is advancing towards profiling Afghans to increase its influence in the country.

According to sources, China managed the deal with the top leadership of the Haqqani Network, a faction of the ruling Taliban. The cameras are going to be installed ostensibly to fight the ISIS, sources added.

Security experts say having Chinese-installed CCTVs in Afghanistan will help Beijing profile the Afghan people as well as protect its own nationals working in the war-torn country on projects.

China has made halting efforts to extend its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to Afghanistan that could see construction of railways and bridges, but is chiefly concerned with the country harboring separatists opposed to Chinese control in its northwestern region of Xinjiang.

CHINA-PAKISTAIN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR
Recently, China, Afghanistan and Pakistain agreed to forge closer economic ties by extending the Beijing-backed China-Pakistain Economic Corridor (CPEC) to Afghanistan.

The $60-billion CPEC aims to connect Pakistain’s Gwadar port in Balochistan
...the Pak province bordering Kandahar and Uruzgun provinces in Afghanistan and Sistan Baluchistan in Iran. Its native Baloch propulation is being displaced by Pashtuns and Punjabis and they aren't happy about it...
with China’s Xinjiang province.

India has objected to the CPEC as it traverses through Pakistain-Indian Kashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain. After partition, the Paks grabbed half of it and call it Azad (Free) Kashmir. The remainder they refer to as "Indian Occupied Kashmir". They have fought four wars with India over it, the score currently 4-0 in New Delhi's favor. After 72 years of this nonsense, India cut the Gordian knot in 2019, removing the area's special status, breaking off Ladakh as a separate state, and allowing people from other areas to settle (or in the case of the Pandits, to resettle) there....
e (PoK).

The CPEC is officially regarded as the flagship project of China’s multi-billion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) — the pet project of President Xi Jinping.

US Stopping Countries From Returning Afghan Aircraft: Official
Good.
[ToloNews] The Deputy Defense Minister, Mohammad Qassim Farsad, said that the neighboring countries of Afghanistan are not returning aircrafts that were taken there during the collapse of the former government. He said their failure to do so is due to pressure by the US.

Speaking at a presser reporting on the annual activities of the Defense Ministry, he said that the number of these aircraft is 60.

"Their numbers could be around 60 aircraft and they are currently in one or two countries. We have officially asked them for their return, but they don’t act because of US pressure," Farsad said.

Speaking at the same conference, the chief of army staff, Fasihuddin Fitrat, said that the attacks by the ISIS group have dropped to zero.

He said that the Islamic Emirate forces have conducted raids across the country within the past year that resulted in seizing a great number of weapons and ammunition.

"In the major cities, the Mujahideen were more careful about the ISIS group. Their attacks have almost dropped to zero," he said.

Eanayatullah Khwarzmi, a front man for the Defense Ministry, said that 50 seminaries have been constructed in military bases in various provinces.

"We have repaired nearly 50,000 vehicles since the Islamic Emirate came to power," he said.

The Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Emirate’s Defense Ministry, in response to the accusations of Pak officials, said that instead of criticizing Afghanistan, they should focus on their own land and that these criticisms show Pakistain's inability to provide security in its own land.

Fasihuddin Fitrat added in the annual report of the ministry that people who cause insecurity in Pakistain exist inside that country, and Pakistain and other countries should look for their enemies "on their own soil."

OCHA: 38 Aid Workers Killed in Two Years in Afghanistan
[ToloNews] The OCHA humanitarian coordinator for Afghanistan, claimed that 38 workers were killed during the last two years.

Daniel Endres said that most of them were polio
...Poliomyelitis is a disease caused by infection with the poliovirus. Between 1840 and the 1950s, polio was a worldwide epidemic. Since the development of polio vaccines the disease has been largely wiped out in the civilized world. However, since the vaccine is known to make Moslem pee-pees shrink and renders females sterile, bookish, and unsubmissive it is not widely used by the turban and automatic weapons set. Currently the disease is only found in Pakistain and Afghanistain...
vaccinators and deminers in Afghanistan.

"We salute their courage and celebrate their dedication to serving humanity we also take a moment to pause to recognize those humanitarian workers who have bit the dust and were maimed, kidnapped, arrested or remain in captivity or detention... 38 workers were killed during the last two years many of whom were polio vaccinators and deminers." Said Daniel Endres.

"The Taliban
...mindless ferocity in a turban...
government, which is currently in power, has a legal obligation to ensure the safety of aid workers and those who are engaged in distributing aid to the people of Afghanistan," said Asadullah Nadim, a military analyst.

Despite the lack of funding for humanitarian aid in Afghanistan, last year UN employees provided humanitarian aid to more than 26 million people in 401 districts of Afghanistan.

"Humanitarian needs in Afghanistan reached more than 29 million people in need of assistance," said Daniel Endres.
Meanwhile,
...back at the abandoned silver mine, the water was up to Jack's neck and still rising. And then he smelled the smoke...
the front man of the Islamic Emirate rejected the comments of the coordinator of humanitarian aid and said that the aid workers in Afghanistan have the support of the Islamic Emirate.

"The Western institutions are all coordinated in presenting Afghanistan as an unsafe region and have started and are continuing their propaganda. This is not true; the Afghans are witnessing, and we are also witnessing that the aid workers were not harmed," said Zabiullah Mujahid.

In February 2022, eight health workers--including four women--were shot and killed in separate attacks by unidentified button men in the northern provinces of Kunduz and Takhar.

UNITAMS calls for immediate cessation of military hostilities in Kordofan states
[SUDANTRIBUNE] The head of the United Nations
...a lucrative dumping ground for the relatives of dictators and party hacks...
mission in Sudan (UNITAMS), Volker Perthes has urged immediate end to all military actions and mobilization in Kordofan states to ease the sufferings of the affected population.
Boy, howdy! That'll stop those boogers in their tracks!
Reports say parts of South Kordofan’s capital, Kadugli came under shelling by the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement/North (SPLM/N) — Al Hilu on 16 August 2023.

The heavy shelling and festivities between the SPLM/N and the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) displaced the local population and resulted into civilian casualties.

"These latest military developments are deplorable since these two Kordofan states have managed to avoid large-scale military confrontation in populated areas in the past months," Perthes said in a statement.

The warring parties, he added, should return to dialogue to settle their differences.

Report also indicate that al-Fulah town in West Kordofan has been in turmoil since 16 August, when fighting escalated between the SAF and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), leading to looting of government offices, banks and several offices.

UNITAMS urged all military actors in Sudan to refrain from actions that can ignite further armed conflict and ensure civilians and infrastructure are protected.

Sudan has been witnessing deadly festivities between the SAF and RSF in Khartoum and other areas since April 15, resulting in at least 3,000 deaths and more than 6,000 injuries, according to Sudan’s Health ministry.

#1  The fighting in Al Fulah occurs just north of important oil fields that Khartoum depends on to fund the government. This is the first notice that there are problems in that part of Kordofan. At present, there is no resolution in sight. Thus, another split of the Sudan is now possible.

Colleagues of Hajiyev assessed the chances of his acquittal
Direct Translation via Google Translate. Edited.
[KavkazUzel] There are chances for the acquittal of Dagestani journalist Abdulmumin Gadzhiev
...also spelt Abdulmumin Hajiyev. Along with the head of the Ansar Foundation charity, Abubakar Rizvanov, and Kemal Tambiev, he was accused of financing terrorism. Investigators believe that they collected 68 million rubles and 200 thousand dollars for ISIS in Syria under the pretext of building mosques and helping poor Muslims...
, as well as Kemal Tambiev and Abubakar Rizvanov, accused of financing terrorism, although the share of acquittals under terrorist articles is extremely small, Gadzhiev's colleagues noted.
However slightly more than zero it may be, it is still greater than zero.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that colleagues of the arrested editor of "Chernovik" Abdulmumin Gadzhiev consider his criminal case to be political persecution and regularly hold single-person pickets in his support in the center of Makhachkala, next to the complex of buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB department for Dagestan. Today, such pickets were held by Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Chernovik Magomed Magomedov and journalist of Novoye Delo Idris Yusupov.

Abdulmumin Gadzhiev, as well as the head of the Ansar Charitable Foundation Abubakar Rizvanov and Kemal Tambiev, have been detained since June 2019 on charges of financing terrorism. Investigators believe that they collected 68 million rubles and 20,000 dollars for the terrorists under the pretext of building mosques and helping poor Muslims. The investigation connects the defendants with the Dagestan preacher and founder of the Mukhadzhirun Islamic Foundation, Israil Akhmednabiev, known as Abu Umar Sasitlinsky. The defendants plead not guilty.

On June 22, the state prosecutor demanded that each of the defendants be sentenced to 19 years in prison. The prosecutor ignored the arguments of the experts and the testimonies of witnesses, Hajiyev stated. On August 10,   Abubakar Rizvanov spoke in the debate. The details of the case are collected in the material of the "Caucasian Knot"  "Golunov number two": the main thing about the case of Abdulmumin Hajiyev".

The reaction to today's single pickets was active, passers-by expressed interest. "People offered water. Even one of the passers-by came up and gave a bottle of water," Idris Yusupov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent . The journalist noted that there were fewer pedestrians than a week earlier, as hot weather persists in Makhachkala.

According to the journalist, no matter how many court sessions the verdict is announced, this will mean the end of only the first stage, since the parties, the prosecution and the defense may not agree with the verdict and challenge it.

Magomed Magomedov, deputy editor-in-chief of Chernovik, counted at least 10 cases of reactions from drivers, as well as numerous cases of reactions from passers-by during his single action demanding: "Freedom for Abdulmumin Hajiyev". "Compared to previous pickets (the reaction from passers-by and drivers) was more active," Magomedov explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to Magomedov, the verdict against Gadzhiev, Rizvanov and Tambiev will be delivered by the end of September. Magomedov noted that so far there is no unequivocal decision on the continuation of the practice of single-person pickets after the verdict was passed on Gadzhiev. Gadzhiev's colleagues will collectively decide whether to continue the weekly solo actions after the verdict or stop them, the journalist said.

The editors of "Chernovik" are not yet able to resume the release of the printed version and work as before, Magomedov noted. The newspaper's editorial office plans to focus its work on the development of the Chernovik website, said the paper's deputy editor-in-chief. "We can't talk about the revival of the printed version and the appearance of the office yet," he said.

According to colleagues, Gadzhiev suffers because the newspaper voiced "uncomfortable questions" to the authorities and security forces, the "Caucasian Knot" report " Draft" says: threats, criminal cases, murder of the editor-in-chief.

The verdict against Gadzhiev, Rizvanov and Tambiev will be announced next autumn, however, given that both the defense and the prosecution can appeal against the verdict, the final decision will be delayed until next year, according to Hajiyev's colleague who was present at today's single actions . In his opinion, the chance of an acquittal against Hajiyev is very small, but there is one. "In general, there are very few acquittals under such articles, there are practically none. I hope that in this case there will be an exception, but the chances are extremely small," Hajiyev's colleague noted.

He believes that the judge was influenced by the speeches of all three defendants, but even without this, the judges must understand the inconsistency of the accusation, the journalist believes. "The judges themselves, even without these speeches, must understand the inconsistency of the prosecution's arguments, that the case is completely fabricated and there is no evidence," Gadzhiyev's colleague noted.

The verdict against Gadzhiev, Rizvanov and Tambiev will be passed within three to five months, another acquaintance of Gadzhiev , who was also present at the picket, believes. In his opinion, the chances of an acquittal or conviction against Gadzhiev, Rizvanov and Tambiev are practically equal. An acquaintance of the journalist is sure that the speeches of all three defendants influenced the judges, and also these speeches and the arguments of the defense will affect the final decision of the court, he suggested.

Home Front: WoT
Far-Left Philly Lawyer Shocked to Discover His Son Is Accused Terrorist
The arrest of the son in question was reported here a week ago, when much was made of the fact that the lad had been in contact with the Katibat al Tawhid wal Jihad faction of Al Nusra in Syria, which is made up of Uzbeks/Tajiks/Uighurs — nothing at all to do with the spoilt kid of an Moslem African-American politician.
[PJMedia] After an extensive terrorism investigation in Philadelphia, on Friday, Aug. 11, a jihadi was arrested who was, according to the FBI and Philly officials, planning major jihad massacres, not just in Philadelphia, but around the nation. He had access to guns and was building bombs. Adding to the shock of this was the fact that the young man who was arrested was only seventeen years old, and yet he now stands accused of plotting what the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office said was "the most serious alleged terrorist activity prosecuted in Philadelphia County court in recent history." Even more shocking, it later came to light that he is the son of one of the most prominent criminal defense attorneys in Philadelphia.

The accused terror plotter was arrested at the home of Qawi Abdul-Rahman,
... lawyer, wannabe judge so he could put his thumb on the scales for his people, father of three teenagers, loudly proud to be a child of the US Air Force and the Philadelphia projects — but he lives in the intersection of activist Islam and Black Lives Matter...
a prominent Philadelphia criminal defense attorney who just ran for a seat as a Philadelphia Common Pleas Court judge. In a "vote for ten" election on May 16, Abdul-Rahman finished fourteenth, with 3.88% of the vote. In a campaign video, Abdul-Rahman wears a djellaba, a flowing robe that is common in North Africa but usually worn in America only by Moslems who are extremely devout. His forehead also sports a superbly prominent zebiba, a dark mark caused by performing the repeated prostrations that are called for in Islamic prayer, and that is generally understood to be a sign of extraordinary piety.

In a Wednesday report in the Daily Beast, however, Abdul-Rahman admitted that it was indeed his son who had been arrested and professed amazement, staking out the position that he had little or no knowledge of what his son had been up to. He said he was "shocked and devastated" by his son’s arrest; the Beast noted that the young man has been "charged with arson, criminal conspiracy, weapons of mass destruction, and risking catastrophe, among other accusations." Abdul-Rahman insisted, "I didn’t see it coming at all. At all. I go to court because I want people to know that Moslems are out here doing things in the community, for the community. I’m an American like everyone else."

That is exactly what the Philadelphia DA’s office wants people to know as well. In a Monday blurb, it was most concerned with doing all it could to ensure that no one got the idea that this young man’s jihad plot had anything to do with Islam: "The work of the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force potentially thwarted a catastrophic terrorist attack in the name of a perverted ideology that in no way, shape, or form represents the beliefs of the overwhelming majority of peace-seeking people of faith, including Moslems."

This kind of thing has become drearily pro forma after every jihad attack and foiled plot, but in this particular case it’s especially unhelpful. Qawi Abdul-Rahman’s judge campaign page features another video that proclaims that "Black Judges Matter." In that video, he complains of judges who don’t give him and his clients the same attention and care they give to his "white counterparts." He complained about judges and court staff "looking at us as if we don’t belong."

Meanwhile,
...back at the cheese factory, there was only one thought in the mouse's mind: I can do this! I can do this! Then the trap sprung...
Abdul-Rahman has adopted a religion that calls for warfare against unbelievers (cf. Qur’an 2:191, 4:89, 9:5, 9:29, 47:4, etc.) and features many prominent global leaders (such as Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei) who view the United States as a hostile power against which Moslems are or should be in a state of war.

Imagine growing up in a household where such views are frequently aired (which is not to say they necessarily are in Abdul-Rahman’s house). We have seen the combination of the left’s hostility toward the U.S. and Islam’s jihad against America before, notably in Urooj Rahman, a Moslem lawyer in New York City who threw a Molotov cocktail into a police car during the Saint George Floyd

riots.

Philadelphia officials are insisting that their young terror suspect was "radicalized on the Internet" and that his plans had nothing to do with Islam, but is anyone there looking into the possibility that his determination to strike against America arose from sources closer to home? Or is such a suggestion so far out of the bounds of our leftist-dominated public discourse today that Philly officials wouldn’t dare even allow themselves to think it? Has no one considered the fact that all the hateful and divisive

rhetoric pouring forth from the left, as well as from some Moslem leaders, is inevitably going to be taken seriously by someone?

India-Pakistan
Infiltration reducing, drugs being pushed from across border: PRO MOD
[GreaterKashmir
...a disputed territory lying between India and Pakistain.
] Says Army facilitating border tourism

Stating that drugs were being pushed into Kashmir from across the border, a Ministry of Defence officer Monday said that infiltration had reduced and troops were alert round the clock to foil the bids along the Line of Control.

This was stated by the Public Relation Officer (PRO), Ministry of Defence, Lt Col M K Sahu in an interaction with a group of select senior journalists covering defence and internal security in Kashmir. "I visited some areas around the Line of Control (LoC) and the feedback received is that infiltration has reduced," Lt Col Sahu said.

He said that attempts to push turbans from across the border continue, however alert troops were there to foil any attempt.

"This year so far some attempts have been foiled while working in synergy with other security forces. Any attempt will be foiled without fail," he said.

On July 25, the Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai said in Lok Sabha
...After the Libyan Civil War, Sabha grew in importance as a slave auctioning town. However, an investigation by the National Commission for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) revealed that while there was illegal slavery, reports were exaggerated, as slave auctions were rare and not made public. This was a great comfort to everyone but the slaves peddled in secret. The city was later seized by forces loyal to the Libyan National Army (LNA) and its leader Khalifa Haftar in January 2019, probably for its collection of MiG-25 aircraft....
that no terrorist could infiltrate into Jammu and Kashmir till June 30 this year while 14 turbans entered J&K in 2022.

Rai said that the approach adopted by the Centre to tackle cross-border infiltration had ensured a perceptible decline in infiltration.

"There has been zero ’net infiltration’ into J&K till June 30, 2023, 14 in 2022, 34 in 2021, 51 in 2020, and 141 in 2019," he said replying to a written question.

The Minister said that the Centre had adopted a well-coordinated and multi-pronged strategy to tackle cross-border infiltration, which includes tactical deployment of forces at the International Border (IB) and the LoC, use of technology such as surveillance cameras, night vision cameras, heat sensing gadgets, multi-tiered deployment along IB and LoC, and border fencing.

"Deployment of intelligence personnel to collect advance and target-oriented inputs on infiltration, ambushes and foot-patrolling by the Army and the Border Security Force (BSF), establishment of Border Police Posts for generating local intelligence and taking proactive action against infiltrators are among others measures taken," he had said.

The PRO Defence said that drugs were being pushed from across the border to fuel terrorism.

Syria-Lebanon-Iran
After Destroying Lebanon, Iran-controlled Hezbollah Threatens War with Israel
[GATESTONEINSTITUTE.ORG] His Eminence Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah
...The satrap of the Medes and the Persians in Leb...
, Secretary-General of the Hezbollah terror group, recently threatened to send Israel back "to the Stone Age" if it goes to war with Leb
...an Iranian colony situated on the eastern Mediterranean, conveniently adjacent to Israel. Formerly inhabited by hardy Phoenecian traders, its official language is now Arabic, with the usual unpleasant side effects. The Leb civil war, between 1975 and 1990, lasted a little over 145 years and produced 120,000 fatalities. The average length of a ceasefire was measured in seconds. The Lebs maintain a precarious sectarian balance among Shiites, Sunnis, and about a dozeen flavors of Christians. It is the home of Hezbollah, which periodically starts a war with the Zionist Entity, gets Beirut pounded to rubble, and then declares victory and has a parade. The Lebs have the curious habit of periodically murdering their heads of state or prime ministers...
-- meaning defend itself against an Iranian-Lebanese attack.

While Nasrallah's threat to destroy Israel is not new, he surely knows a thing or two about sending countries back to the Stone Age. His Iran-backed group, which functions as a state-within-a-state in Lebanon, is responsible for turning the Arab country into a failed state.

Two days after Nasrallah made his latest threat against Israel, Lebanon witnessed widespread blackouts, forcing Beirut Airport to run on electric generators.

"On the other side of the spectrum is the understanding that Lebanon was coerced into collapse by Hezbollah and its regional broker, Iran." — Fadi Nassar, assistant professor in political science and international affairs, Lebanese American University; Saleh El Machnouk, lecturer in political science, Saint-Joseph University, Beirut; mei.edu, March 24, 2023.
