[Vox] As gay rights improve in much of the world, they're getting worse in a handful of countries in sub-Saharan Africa. A 2013 Amnesty International report detailed worsening and "dangerous" homophobia across much of the continent. This is not uniform to the continent, of course, and some countries such as South Africa have positive and improving LGBT rights situations. The causes of this are complex — the legacy of European colonialism, the perverse incentives of post-colonial authoritarianism and conflict — but the problem is real. But wat isn't 'getting worse' in sub-Saharan Africa? Evil white men to blame of course, I might have guessed.

It's fundraising time for AI. It's a fashionable cause. And "legacy of European colonialism, the perverse incentives of post-colonial authoritarianism and conflict" both absolves the African and triggers both the guilt complex and anti-Westernism of the target market.
Might as well go after the money now. It's going to get a bit tougher for AI after 2017, at least in the US. They're going to have competition.
[Daily Caller] Democratic Wisconsin Rep. Gwen Moore is continuing her push to keep Planned Parenthood funded, claiming reallocating the funds to other healthcare organizations that don't perform abortions wouldn't be an adequate option. Life is a favor? Interesting concept or insane tribal logic ?
At a press conference held by the Congressional Black Caucus Monday, Moore said due to the length of time women are fertile throughout their lives, it can be difficult preventing pregnancy.
That is a lot of time to prevent pregnancies, and it's hard for me to believe that any woman would want to be pregnant every year for 35 years," she said. "So women have been desperately in need for this healthcare remedy, which is why it has been such a strenuous effort to provide this life saving benefit to women."
While Planned Parenthood receives close to half a billion dollars a year in federal funds, Moore says due to the Hyde Amendment none of that money goes toward abortions. Critics say the money indirectly funds the cause because money provided by private donors could be used for women's healthcare instead of the procedure. So Congresswoman Moore the CBC at long last admit abortion is simply another form of birth control.

With the success of IVF, I suppose we should be moving to harvesting, preserving and snipping for both sexes. I guess the outpatient services are already here, but not popularized because there is more money to be made from the D&C.

..sort of like males have been forced for over two hundred years to automatically be part of the militia and therefore subject to mutilation, disfigurement, mental impairment, and death. It's called male privilege. The privilege runs from age 18 to 45.

It can be ascribed to some higher authority, climate change, or a super galactic eugenics experiment, but I'm reasonably certain a separation of the tribes was part of the original intent.
The exceptions simply do not appear to be playing out well anywhere.

I wonder if the left will ever understand that conservative opposition to abortion is based on principle and not calculation. I mean if conservatives were the political animals the left are they'd push for Abortion figuring lefty mom would brainwash lefty children so we are better off with fewer lefty children.
But the left can't comprehend this because they project their own lack of scruples upon their enemies.
[Breitbart] Benghazi Select Committee Chairman Representative Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) stated that "there are definitely Benghazi emails" that haven't been turned over to his committee and "I'm going to be interviewing" Democratic presidential candidate and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "on October 22nd without all the documents that I'm entitled to" on Monday's "On the Record" on the Fox News Channel. So postpone the "interview" until you GET the evidence.
When asked, "do you have those emails [between Clinton and Gen. David Petraeus] that apparently the Defense Department found?" Gowdy said, "I don't think we have them yet, Greta, because they would not be within our jurisdiction. I noticed in your intro, you cited the most recent example that the public record is not complete, that she didn't turn everything over. Of course, don't forget, there were 15 emails to and from Sidney Blumenthal that she also never turned over to the State Department. So, this is just the latest piece of evidence that the record is not complete."
He also stated, "the State Department is going through kind of non-Benghazi related requests, FOIA requests, media requests, and that's at the end of every month. They gave us, on Friday, over 1,000 pages of her emails that they had never before given us. In fact, it was a larger amount of emails that they gave us Friday, than what they gave us earlier in the year when they claimed to give us everything. So, less than a month before Secretary Clinton comes before the committee, and three years after Benghazi, the State Department is still producing emails." More delay and obfuscation, further reinforcing the belief that no Special Prosecutor will be called and absolutely nothing will come of this sordid mess.

Even if Gowdy had all the documents, it wouldn't make any difference, Broomhilda would lie about everything--she can't help herself--it's in her DNA.

No lawyer ever starts a deposition or a trial by saying, yep, I've got all the documents I asked for. By saying that he doesn't have all the documents, Gowdy is setting up an argument for another appearance by Her Beastliness. It doesn't mean that he's not going to slice her to pieces in this round. The danger for Gowdy -- hard as we may find this to believe-- is that he makes her look sympathetic. He's going to have to pull the occasional punch.

[Clinton News Network] An email chain between former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and then-commander of U.S. Central Command David Petraeus from January and February 2009 is raising questions about whether some of the emails on Clinton's private email server were mistakenly deemed personal and not included among the 55,000 pages of emails she turned over to the State Department. "Mistakenly deemed personal" was it ?
Separately on Friday, a State Department official said a "small number" of Benghazi-related emails that had not been disclosed to the House committee investigating the 2012 terror attack had been discovered. "Small number?" I thought.... all meant all ?
In the past few days, the State Department was contacted by the Department of Defense about the Clinton-Petraeus chain, two State Department officials said. The officials say the chain does not appear to include classified information, though an official determination has not been made. The chain included Clinton and Petraeus getting acquainted as well as some personnel matters, according to the officials.
Most of the email chain was on an old email server Clinton says she no longer has access to, but the end of the email chain contained messages on the private server she used while in office, according to another official. The chain begins on January 10, 2009 and ends on Feb. 1, 2009 and contains less than 10 emails total between Clinton and Petraeus, the official said.
State Department spokesman John Kirby said State received "several copies of one email chain between former Secretary Clinton and then Commander of U.S. Central Command David Petraeus which were not previously in the possession of the Department" from the Department of Defense and the State Inspector General. "These emails are now in our possession and will be subject to Freedom of Information Act requests. Furthermore, we asked the IG to incorporate this matter into the review Secretary Kerry requested in March. We have also informed Congress of this matter."
Also on Friday, a State Department official also told CNN that in the process of turning over Libya-related emails to the Select Committee on Benghazi, it found a "small number" of Benghazi-related emails that had not been disclosed to the committee previously. These emails are among 925 Libya-related emails being turned over Friday and were found within the emails Clinton turned over to the State Department from her private server. The official said the emails were found because they have now been digitized and are easier to search.
Clinton turned over to State her work-related emails from the server and kept emails she deemed personal. The email server has since been turned over to the FBI, where investigators have been able to recover both the personal and work-related emails. The FBI is looking into whether any classified materials were mishandled.

The story by Ed Klein said Hillary request a private meeting with Obama. When she showed up, she was kept waiting for a half an hour. Valerie Jarret had also present at the meeting. Klein reports the following part of the conversation. Klein says he has reliable sources but then again, he always does.
“What I want for you to do is call off your f**king dogs, Barack!” the book claims Clinton yelled at Obama, citing sources close to Clinton and Obama senior adviser Valerie Jarrett
One feels for her, despite her very bad decisions -- the poor dear is always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
[American Thinker] Some years ago, in an effort to avoid prosecution, Mafia boss Vincent "Vinnie the Chin" Gigante donned a bathrobe and wandered the streets of Little Italy and Greenwich Village posing as a demented old man. I wonder if Hillary Clinton is getting fitted for just such a bathrobe and starts wandering the lanes of Chappaqua in Westchester to avoid prosecution herself.
For years I've saved lots of time by considering every word she says a lie, and her story about her emails and email server proves my point. Everything she said about the emails has come apart and now there are rumors she has some health issues.
Insiders are claiming she's suffered a series of strokes and has multiple sclerosis. "Clinton has a history of blackouts, falls, memory loss, blinding headaches, vision problems and collapses dating back at least a decade.
If so, how dreadful for her that it's being revealed in this context. If not, how dreadful that her friends feel the need to make up such excuses for her.
In 2005, she fainted during a luncheon speech in Buffalo, N.Y. Four years later, then--Secretary of State Clinton broke her right elbow in a mysterious fall in a U.S. State Department garage. In 2011, Clinton collapsed while boarding a flight in Yemen, but insisted she'd simply slipped."
If, indeed, this information is coming from people close to her campaign they might be setting up a defense for her -- although without knowing whether the government will charge her and in view of her party's dependence on her as the only realistic nominee, this is tricky business. If they overplay this it might cost her the nomination after all.

Iff true, even iff Hillary wins the Democratic nomination + also the Presidency, her health may be such that she may end up being forced to resign as POTUS sometime during her Admin.
HILLARY + FAMILY HAS TO DECIDE IFF BEING POTUS IS WORTH THE RISK OF RESIGNING OR DYING WHILE IN OFFICE???
Iff Hillary is the kind of Person + Politician I believe she is, SHE WILL STAY THE COURSE TO THE BITTER END.

Ha, I thought you meant Chappaquiddick MV where Teddy met his presidential demise. I should be glad to pardon the Clintons, despite their crimes, if they would go gently into that God nite or goodbye.

Glen Beck used to suffer similar symptoms; then he joined AA and got sober.

Hmm. Do I want a president who exhibits these symptoms? Including pathological lying? We already have one of those and it isn't working out so great.

Her mules scraped the pavement as she shuffled to nowhere in particular. The stained slippers made a sound like coarse sandpaper on fine furniture.
It was a dark, but not stormy, night. Thank God for small favors, tender mercies and all that. Hilly giggled, and took another sip.
Where was that woman? Damn tank was gettin' low and Hilly could use a hug. Maybe I'll look under that street lamp, she thought. The light's better there. Hilly giggled again.

Sorry, TW, I do not feel sorry for her or any of her many devoted (demented) followers.
I keep seeing an old Road Runner cartoon in the tv in my brain, only instead of Wily E getting the ACME anvil head plant, Hillary has taken his place.....
