Sixth foot washes up on Canadian beach
In the latest episode of a bizarre and deepening mystery, another human foot has washed up on the shores of British Columbia - the second this week, and the sixth in less than a year. The latest, believed to be a man's right foot, was discovered at the hide-tide line on a sandbank off Vancouver Island yesterday morning by a beachcomber. It was still inside a black size 10 Adidas trainer.

Sandra Malone, manager of a nearby caravan park, told local TV news: "You could see the foot was actually inside the running shoe, it was a black running shoe. You could see the two bones were sticking out above the ankle part, probably three to four inches. It was clean right across... it doesn't look like it was broken."

All six of the feet have been found since August 2007 in the Strait of Georgia, or in the nearby mouth of the Fraser River. All have been right feet except the fifth, which was discovered on Monday.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have said there is no evidence the feet were severed by force, and there has been speculation that they may have detached from the bodies of accident victims after long immersion in the waters of the Fraser. Forensic scientists have now completed DNA profiles of the first three feet, but the chief coroner of British Columbia, Terry Smith, said on Tuesday that investigators have not yet been able to match them with any missing persons.

Girl born to Jamie Lynn Spears
Wonder how mama's Parentin Book is going?
JACKSON, Miss. - Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl Thursday morning at a south Mississippi hospital.
Oh, look, mama! It's lahk a lil ol Barbie doll! Cept it poops 'n pees!
A person close to the Spears family confirmed the baby's birth to The Associated Press. The person asked not to be identified because the family had not yet announced the baby's birth.
...and I'd lahk ta stay on the payroll.
The 17-year-old was the star of Nickelodeon's 'Zoey 101' and is the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears. The Spears family announced in December that Jamie Lynn was pregnant. The father is Casey Aldridge, a pipe-layer from Liberty, Miss.
Oh, he's a 'pipe-layer' all right...
The couple is not married but announced an engagement several months ago.
We be settin a date real soon, now that honey pie kin fit into her mini wedding dress.
A message left at the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center where Spears gave birth to the baby was not immediately returned Thursday and the family could not be reached for comment.
Paparazzi in uproar! We gotta go to friggin Mississippi? I'll bet there isn't even a Starbucks there! Friggin barbarians! Do they even have electricity!
The younger Spears lives near Liberty with Aldridge and has been seen around the small south Mississippi town often as her pregnancy became more apparent. Her family owns a home across the state line in Kentwood, La.
Isn't that some kinda federal crime?
Spears announced her pregnancy through an article in OK! Magazine and was expected to receive a large payday for exclusive pictures of the newborn.
Enough to pay for all the work on Casey's doublewide and maybe a tune up on the pickup, I'll bet...

Nah, she's too selfish for that, she'll keep the baby and the craziness continues.
I am contantly amazed how some view this teen pregnancy as a good thing and many other teens will follow in her footsteps. With the government paying every step of the way to give them that option. Our society is so screwed up on so many levels here it's sickening.

Woman Who Died While Watching TV Sat Unfound for 42 Years
Hedviga Golik made herself a cup of tea and sat down to watch some television in her hometown of Zagreb, Croatia. Sadly, she died in her chair. This was in 1966. She was just found, 42 years later, in her time capsule mausoleum where she's been sitting ever since. She never finished her tea.

What's absurd is that she was in fact reported missing, but somehow no one ever checked her apartment, which leads me to believe no one checked anywhere. I mean, where else do you look for someone when they're missing? I don't understand it. Her neighbors apparently just assumed she moved out of her apartment, and she was finally found when the police broke in to figure out who owned the place.

A police spokesman said: "When officers went there, they said it was like stepping into a place frozen in time. The cup she had been drinking tea from was still on a table next to the chair she had been sitting in and the house was full of things no one had seen for decades. Nothing had been disturbed for decades, even though there were more than a few cobwebs in there."

Today in History
"The people of Texas are informed that in accordance with a Proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free. This involves an absolute equality of rights and rights of property between former masters and slaves, and the connection heretofore existing between them becomes that between employer and free laborer."

-- Major General Gordon Granger, "General Order No. 3" published June 19, 1865 in Galveston, Texas, thereby setting free the last slaves in the United States

-Signs, Portents, and the Weather-
Your handy guide to the aliens among us
h/t Lileks. Cover yer heads with tinfoil, lads, and get ready for the ride of your life!

Since the age of 12, I have had an intense interest in the subject of UFOlogy, which was sparked after reading Frank Edwards’ book FLYING SAUCERS, SERIOUS BUSINESS. This led to an interest in the investigation of subsurface anomalies, followed by a still later fascination with conspiracy research . . . . I will refrain from explaining how I came to the following conclusions, as I can't explain my thinking either there are some mysteries even psychiatry can't yet solve it would take an entire volume to list the various sources of information that I’ve encountered in the past 22 years. . . . I will state however that it is my "delusion" "opinion" that there are 3 "general" alien forces at work in this center of the universe. Each of these groups can be divided into sub-groups and so on, yet I will not deal with these aspects at this time.

These groupings include:

* THE UNITED FEDERATION

- This has been referred to by different titles. Originally having its genesis in an ancient Lyran (Vegan) alliance with the Murians and Gobians of Terra . . . Mostly of human heritage, the "Federation" adheres to a strict nonintervention policy. Federation personnel apparently contacted William Shatner in the Mojave desert years before he became famous for his part in the STAR TREK series, and certain ideas from real life turned up in the "inspired" television series. . . .

Even the STARFLEET base was fairly close - the actual Starfleet base is not in San Francisco but below the Panamint Mt. - Death Valley region to the east. This "Starfleet" does not exist a few thousand years in the future as the series suggests, but actually began about 3000 years ago when the MU-rians of ancient California
I lived in a dorm in the 1970s with the kids from the Interdisciplinary Studies program--I think I met some of them California MU-rians! They smoked a lot and used words like "dude" and "bummer" and "bogart the stash."
[apparently in alliance with other civilizations that were advanced in astronomy, mathematics, medicine, architecture, etc., such as the Greeks, Egyptians, Mayas, and East Indians] developed aerial and space technology. . . . Some [American] Intelligence agencies such as the Navy’s "COM-12" are allied with these "Benevolent Ones" of the Federation, whereas other [Bavarian] Intelligence agencies such as the CIA-NSA "AQUARIUS" group maintains a pact with and is even largely under the control of the Reptilian Gray Empire Collective. MJ-12 seems to be vacillating between the two extremes, and may in fact be a battleground between:
* the American Constitutionals [working with the NonInterventionist Humanoids] and
* the Bavarian Globalists [working for the Interventionist Reptilioids].
Interventionist Reptilloids? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

* THE DRACONIAN EMPIRE

- Originally stemming from an ancient Alpha Draconian Antarctican (Terran) Empire of non-humanoids, the Draconian Empire is made up of several reptilian species including the winged draco (pterosaurians, "mothmen", or winged serpents); the tall Reptilioids who control various smaller reptilian "gray" species which reproduce via polyembryony, egg hatcheries and/or cloning; a particularly malevolent iguana-like dark-skinned sorcerer-priest class that is often seen wearing hooded robes and stands about 5 ft. tall;
(In my grade school, we called them "nuns." They used to rap our knuckles with wooden rulers. Good teachers, but strict! Oh, they were strict!)
and a shorter 4-5 ft. tall race of reptilian-amphibians that have been described as appearing like Rosie O'Donnell, only cuter "frog faced lizards".

Often a Nordic (mind-slave) is seen in the company of several of these "Reptoids" (for lack of a better word) especially during breeding experiments with human abductees. . . . Most Reptilian species have a track record of being Interventionist-imperialist oriented and have shown little if any regard for human life.

* THE ASHTAR - BAVARIAN COMMAND
- The following systems are either areas that are independent, non-aligned to the United Federation or the Draconian Empire, areas of collaboration and/or warfare between Humanoid and Reptilioid forces, or members of the Ashtar Command-Collective and for the Bavarian (Alt. 003) Imperialist Space Forces. The Alternative 003 [Bavarian] Space Forces, in alliance with other Imperialistic humanoid and reptiloid species, have - within the last few decades of their interstellar travel capabilities - already become notorious throughout this sector of the galaxy for their Nazi-like atrocities against the peaceful inhabitants of other worlds. This is according to one couple who defected from the "Alternative 003" crowd (which is made up mostly of super-rich Military-industrialist families) after friendly Federation personnel contacted them and told them what the A3’s were really up to. . . . Richard Shaver referred to them as the "Vermin from Space." They are vampirial in nature and feed-off the human life-force which manifests itself through the human spirit (emotions), the human soul (thoughts), and human blood (plasma)! . . .
OMG! It's MoveOn.org!

Like the Energizer Bunny, he just keeps going . . . and going . . . and going from there. Apparently, the shapeshifting lizards (or is it the Bavarian vampires, he's not really clear) are Freemasons, and they control the Pope and Mitt Romney and have laid out the street grid of Washington D.C. in the shape of a Satanic pentagram and . . . well, you get the picture. Did you know that UFOs are visiting the Capitol building? (It would explain a lot about Dennis Kucinich, I suppose.)

Crazy as it is, it could be worse. He never mentions Israel or AIPAC . . . unlike some other crackpot websites I could mention.

#17  Redneck Jim, Yup, aerodynamically the straight saucer design sucks - it can only be made to work with configurable wing surfaces.

In fact, way back when the UFO fad started, Kenneth Arnold didn't report seeing flying disks. The term "flying saucer" was coined by the media from his description of how the triangular objects he saw flew - like saucers skipping over the water.

Lots of UFOs are triangular, v-shaped, or cigar shaped. A few are spherical. Very, very few are actually shaped like a couple of dinner plates pressed together (though I'd like to see a study of how they might fly if the control surface were configurable).

Yah, I always kinda suspected that saucer-shaped objects sightings were either hoaxes or aliens playing with the earthling's minds by making vehicles that we "expect" to be alien "flying saucers."

Hawaiian group demands restoration of the monarchy
HONOLULU - Surrounded by royal guards and the occasional tourist, Her Majesty Mahealani Kahau and her government ministers hold court every day in a tent outside the palace of Hawaii's last monarch, passing laws and discussing how to secure reparations for the Native Hawaiian people.

Kahau and her followers are members of the self-proclaimed Hawaiian Kingdom Government, which is devoted to restoring the Hawaiian monarchy overthrown in 1893. Nearly two months ago, they stormed the gates of the old Iolani Palace, and they have politely occupied the grounds ever since, operating like a government-in-exile.

A state agency, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, is pursuing something far short of a restoration of the monarchy. It is pressing for federal legislation that would give Native Hawaiians a degree of self-government similar to what many American Indian tribes have. The hope is that Native Hawaiians will also regain some of their ancestral land.

The legislation has passed the U.S. House and is pending in the Senate.

"There's got to be a legal way in which to try to get these issues resolved," said OHA Administrator Clyde Namuo.

#2  I personally would like to see GUAM involved in this process, espec as per the heavy pressures which I anticipate happening in ASIA-PACIFIC within the next ten years [ripple effect/domino].

E.G. TOPIX > GLOBAL WARMING, ISLAMISTS ARE FACTORS IN RISING REFUGEE CRISIS IN ASIA.

ALso, IIRC STARS-N-STRIPES > RELOC OF BULK OF US EIGHTH ARMY FROM SOKOR > Unforeseen costs in reloca and realignment, + construx of new SOKOR milfacs for remaining SOKOR-based US Units, MAY DELAY RELOC BACK TO CONUS [Hawaii]UP TO FOUR YEARS.

When added to local efforts in JAPAN to delay the USMC reloc from Okinawa to Guam to 2018 and beyond [2020's], BEARS TO ASK THE QUESTION > WHAT UNITS WILL BE COMING TO GUAM, IFF ANY - WHAT GUAM DOESN'T NEED IS MASSIVE INFLUXES OF REFUGEES + FOREIGN LABOR EMIGRES, ETC. BUT WIDOUT BEING $$$ UNABLE TO SUPPOR SAME???
