Champ sez Clinton email a 'mistake' but no harm done, it's all political football
[Daily Caller] President Barack Obama said that Hillary Clinton's use of a private email system was "a mistake" and that federal officials need to be "more sensitive" about how they handle government information.

Obama did, however, say that he does not believe that Clinton's use of a personal email account and private email server posed a national security threat. He also claimed that the controversy has been "ginned-up" for political reasons.

Asked during an interview with "60 Minutes" reporter Steve Kroft whether he knew that Clinton used a private server, Obama said that he did not. The White House has previously acknowledged that Obama exchanged some emails with Clinton on her personal email account but said that he did not know the extent of her home-brew system.

"I don't think it posed a national security problem," Obama said, adding that "I think that it was a mistake that she has acknowledged."
As of this morning, no one by the name of Clinton has checked into the Mayo Clinic. Doctors however, are standing by.

#1  Laws and rules are for little people.

[..of course, don't pay attention to what he says, but watch what he directs his minions to do.]

#2  Don't bring her up on charges until after he leaves office.

And if we are to actually believe what he says, that means he is equally clueless and unqualified to be president.

#3  Candidate Obama promised openness and transparency. We weren't to know he meant with the nation's enemies instead of her citizens. This was just an efficient way to accomplish it.

Government
Another toxic mine spill by the EPA

#1  It is a good thing laws are for the little people or otherwise they might be in serious trouble!

#2  These guys are regulators / observers. Why are their hands on the controls?
Posted by: KBK || 10/12/2015 11:23 Comments || Top||

#3  They should probably have drug tests more often.
Posted by: gorb || 10/12/2015 11:25 Comments || Top||

#4  I wonder if the owners of the mines are somehow Obama donors? And the spill's (aftermath) somehow make the mines more profitable?
Nah.

#5  Checking for purity, Gorb?

#6  Perhaps the mine owners failed to donate to Obama.

"Nice little mine you have here. Would be a real shame of something were to happen to it."

#7  The EPA has spent over 100 million dollars on office furniture and military ry weapons. Time to seriously cut back the EPA.

#8  Time to seriously cut back the EPA.

We don't go there, g(r)omgoru. First warning.

#10  Our government is incompetent from the top to the bottom. Leaders hold their people accountable and demand integrity. Incompetent leaders hide and cover it up. More leadership examples of our DC elite.

Champ: I'ze could win third term as pres, but I won't run
[Breitbart] President Obama insisted that he could run and win a third term as president if he wanted to, but assured Americans that he would follow the lead of previous presidents before him.
No mention of the Constitution...
When asked directly by Steve Kroft in a 60 Minutes interview if he could win a third term as president he replied without hesitation, "Yes. I do."

He pointed out that it was "bittersweet" heading into his last year in office admitting that he would "love to do some more" to help the country.

But he compared his own struggle with that of the nation's first president, George Washington, to explain why he would step down.

#2  Yeah, Champ and Washington - just alike.

Well, except Washington was a soldier. And he worked for a living. Didn't play golf. Maybe a couple of other things, but basically, just alike!

#3  Washington was a slave owner, too.

#5  POTUS Michelle. SPOTUS Barack. VPOTUS Joe

Can't lose ticket. Big uproar for a couple of months, then easy win after the fuss dies down. Transition to banana republic completed.

Obama's sacrifice for the good of the country.

We've had more than enough of your help.

As for that pic, that looks suspiciously like a cigarette. Should be a joint.

#7  Champ says a lot of things. The voters are not so enthused about him after nearly 8 years of socialism.
Posted by: JohnQC || 10/12/2015 11:42 Comments || Top||

#8  I wouldn't put it past him to try to do an executive order or something to keep himself in office.
Posted by: DarthVader || 10/12/2015 12:11 Comments || Top||

#9  I agree with JohnQC, I don't think he'd get a third term. I think he'd lose in a landslide by this point. Even Democrats are tired of defending the indefensible and those that aren't wonder why he didn't accomplish more damage when he had both houses.
Posted by: rjschwarz || 10/12/2015 13:48 Comments || Top||

#10  Nope.
Democrats are zombies. They would follow him to hell no matter what.
Posted by: newc || 10/12/2015 14:16 Comments || Top||

#11  None of the Dems in the race are running on his record. That says something.
Posted by: rjschwarz || 10/12/2015 14:58 Comments || Top||

#12  None of the Dems in the race are running on his record. That says something.

None are admonishing him for his record, either. That says something else.
Posted by: Mullah Richard || 10/12/2015 15:18 Comments || Top||

#13  That says they hope the voters are so stupid that they didn't notice anything.
Posted by: gorb || 10/12/2015 15:46 Comments || Top||

#14  Some were saying he couldn't possibly win with his record in 2011 as well.

Too few voters even look at the records anymore. The media hides the skeletons in the Dem's closets and if they can't exploit existing ones will simply make up skeletons in the Trunks' closets otu of whole cloth.

#15  Mullah Richard, Bernie Sanders is blasting the Obama economy and immigration policy every chance he gets and he's pulling big crowd.

#16  He would be better off smokin a joint than a cig. He could not get any fuckin dumber.
