#9 ^ You somehow win an election because you are going to "represent the people" and then companies and foreign governments offer your kids huge amounts of money who can't help but jump at the "opportunities" and then the kids realize they are supposed to now "influence" the parent to do special favors for even more big bucks.... ("everyone else is doing it, right?")

Then you go under the table and accept a percentage and then you realize they got you so you have to stay in office to hide your corruption by working with other corrupted souls to bring in voting corruption. Now the only thing that can get you out of power is death itself, hopefully well into old age...
