I was upset about where the link went, but the insight was fascinating. Coming from a hollywood, where every environment and situation is manufactured; ie artificial and that the writing on the hand was a calculated move our master of the visual arts fails to notice that, symbolically, it means that Mrs. Palin does not mind getting her hands dirty; ie hard worker.

Now, I know that as a professional entertainer one must believe their own bullshit in order to work effectively, but this sort of I've been Around lecturing is amusing only in the since that in reality he is a mediocre performance face on a minor league show partly funded by a coward storyteller and partly funded by TV Guide Channel. So I ask, Mr. Baldwin, if or when you remove your tiara to shower how does it feel to be a 3rd string dancing bear in the 3rd circle of a 3rd rate circus? Because billed as a master of the visual arts you come across as a cicada, popping up occasionally in strange years only to be eaten by birds interested in you only so they will be able to take a shit in the afternoon.

#3 That's one of the best endorsements for a Palin presidency I've read so far. If guys like Baldwin are so scared of Palin that they resort to inventing a croc of crap like that she must have something going for her.

The guy quotes Ann Richardson. Ann Richardson? If that's not an act of desperation I don't know what is. So shallow. Then he writes about how we might all be doomed no matter what we do. Brilliant. That kind of pessimism never got anybody elected. If I was Obama I'd tell him to STFU.

#10 For heavens sakes , would somebody please explain that writing short crib notes on your hand is a pilot thing?

AFAIK Sarah and Todd own an airplane and fly it themselves. Sometimes you need to write a frequency or an ATIS on something and the palm of your hand is convenient as it can't fall on the floor and it is difficult to lose your place.

Military pilots have been known to do this also. At least the ones I've flown with.

#12 it was probably just the chronological order of points for her speech to tickle the memory...most people do it on an index card. The left's all up in arms trying to say she couldn't remember what she was going to talk about, I know she definitely knew what she was talking about - she was just probably cribbing the order of it.

Emmy-winning actor Alec Baldwin blew a gasket Thursday and attacked a photographer while police and a pack of reporters looked on with amazement.

"This guy! This guy!," the actor yelled as he burst out of the lobby and grabbed New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis by the neck. Cops immediately pulled the actor off of Wiencis and hustled him back inside.

A witness said Baldwin was pacing around the lobby muttering, "They are the lowest scum of the earth. They are the lowest scum of the earth."

Meanwhile, an incredulous Wiencis told cops, "He just assaulted me."
