Let us correct the police's Politically Correct & neutral fine-tuned statement a little, to get to the real reason and more likely cause.

SUGGESTED NEW PRESS STATEMENT
The investigation so far reveals that there was Gunfire exchanged between 2 Rival Gangs, that resulted in numerous kids and Gang Members being shot, and/or killed.

#4 When I first heard about this story, and having been to Las Cruces recently for business so somewhat familiar with the area's 'charm', my initial thought was 'gangs'.

The Donk controlled legislature is wrapping up its session in Santa Fe. Absolutely, no action to establish curfews for those under 18 years of age. They know what the problem is. They refuse to address it.
