#2 See technically when Argentina invaded the Falklands England could have invoked the NATO alliance commitment that a attack on one is an attack on all which would have directly required American intervention. If Argentina was in NATO then it would be a member spat like Greece and Turkey.

The notion of Argentina in NATO is far less absurd than Muslim Brotherhood Turkey being a NATO member.

Argentina doesn't have the ultimate goal of subjugating Western Civilization.

Actually no. The Falklands lie in the South Atlantic and are therefore not covered by NATO guarantees.

Article 6 of the North Atlantic Treaty specifies that collective self-defense is applicable only to attacks on member state territories north of the Tropic of Cancer.
