#2 The idea of having a trade academy to train qualified folks with some ability to fly airplanes doesn’t seem bad to me. Mixing in the DEI stuff seems like a good way to DIE.

#5 My wife has always been afraid to fly. She has flown, but is willing to take a train or bus(!) from North Carolina to California, rather than fly.
For myself, I spent several years traveling for business. It never bothered me, including trips to India and Australia.
HOWEVER, with the DEI direction that aviation is taking, I'm thinking of following my wife's example and taking the train or driving.
