#2 if Wagner forces do leave the city (Artemovsk=Bakhmut) on May 25 it will be while in close contact with Ukrainian forces.

This kind of retreat is always unpleasant and, if things go wrong, can result in massive casualties.

Especially as it seems the Russian flanks around the city are collapsing. It appears that Wagner pulled their forces and resources from both flank areas in order to put a final push into the city itself.

They could actually get surrounded having done so.
