#2 It's nice that some real on-screen a$$holes got the axe. Unfortunately, said a$$holes will wind up somewhere else, maybe with a humiliatingly smaller audience, but with their bank accounts and cocktail circuit memberships intact.

#6 Back when HLN was 'new' I watched or rather had it running in the background while I was concentrating on my home computer. Background noise, basically, and well before their foray into talk shows. Then I dropped it when they mutated from 'straight-up journalism' (with nice tight 5 minute stories) to 'infomercials' where every story had to have a subtext selling the cause de jour. Foreign news? Global Warming. Weather? Global Warming ...and so forth and so on.
