And keep in mind too that even in the Cold War days, the Russians planned to use some captured NATO stocks.

#2 Those specialist people? Not going to get by with some 43-year-old reservist conscript grabbed off the street and given 2 weeks of refresher training before dumping him into an unfamiliar unit in Ukraine as a replacement.

Thats a recipe fo casualties.
